New U.N. Draft Resolution Gives Syria 15 Days to Comply

By Josh Rogin

January 28, 2012 “FP” — The Cable has obtained a copy of the draft resolution on Syria currently being discussed inside the U.N. Security Council. It calls on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to hand over power to his deputy and says additional measures would be taken if he doesn’t comply within 15 days.

U.N. Security Council diplomats are meeting behind closed doors on Friday to discuss what’s being called the Arab-European draft resolution on Syria. The Moroccan ambassador is presenting the draft resolution, which is designed to implement the recommendations of the Arab League transition plan laid out on Jan. 22.

The draft resolution condemns “the continued widespread and gross violations of human rights and fundamental freedoms by the Syrian authorities,” demands that the Syrian government immediately put an end to all human rights violations, and calls on both sides to end attacks and violence immediately.

The resolution then lays out a political roadmap that matches the Arab League initiative intended to pave the way for a transition  “leading to a democratic, plural political system” through the formation of a national unity government, the handing over of all presidential authority to Assad’s deputy for a transition period, and then the holding of free and fair elections with international supervision.

Importantly, the draft resolution requests that U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon report on the implementation of the resolution every 15 days and also directs the Security Council “to review Syria’s implementation of this resolution [in] 15 days and, in the event that Syria has not complied, to adopt further measures, in consultation with the League of Arab States.”

Representatives from the State Department and the U.S. mission to the United Nations did not immediately respond to requests for comment. But State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland spelled out the broad goals the United States has for the final version of the resolution.

“We are looking for a resolution that reflects the commitments that the Arab League was seeking from the Syrian government, that — in its November 2nd agreement, which unfortunately has not been lived up to by the Syrian side,” Nuland said.

She indicated the United States was hopeful that Russia, which has been openly supporting Assad and sending him weapons, will work with the rest of the Security Council to produce a resolution that is strong and effective. Russia and China vetoed European resolution on Syria last fall and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said Friday that Russia would veto any resolution that seeks to remove Assad from power.

“We continue to want to work with the Russians so that the whole U.N. Security Council is united in sending the strongest possible message to the Assad regime that the violence has got to end, and we’ve got to begin a transition,” Nuland said.

Syrian Exiles Push For U.S. Action

Battling To Be Heard: Syrian exiles are trying to get Washington’s attention for their struggle.

Again, keep in mind as you read this that the various ‘opposition’ groups operating against Assad ARE American/Israeli puppets, and cowardly ones at that, because if they were the true ‘freedom fighters’ they claim to be, they would be in Syria fighting a real war and not pussy-footing around in other countries.

Washington — They may be disunited and  unskilled in the ways of Washington, but as carnage continues in Syria, exiled  Syrian dissidents in the United States are urging the Obama administration to  actively support opposition forces struggling to bring down the regime of Bashar  al-Assad.

A loose network of activists — some newly arrived, but most part of an  established Syrian exile community — are urging the administration to set up a  safe zone within Syria on the country’s border with Turkey. This could provide  shelter for dissidents being hunted down by the Assad regime, but would almost  certainly require some form of military intervention by the United States.

Though pursuing their advocacy thousands of miles from home, the Syrian  activists are not clear of danger. As the conflict between the Syrian government  and dissidents has intensified, they say the struggling Damascus regime has  increased its effort to discredit the émigrés as American puppets and to  intimidate them by harassing family members left behind.

“The Syrian Embassy here was operating as a security branch of the Assad  regime. They sent reports to Damascus about all my moves, and after that my  mother was interrogated by the security forces,” said Radwan Ziadeh, a Syrian  dissident who has been advocating on behalf of the Syrian opposition.

The Syrian uprising, which broke out as part of the Arab Spring last March,  has cost the lives of more than 5,000 activists so far, according to the United  Nations, and is far from nearing its end. Forces loyal to Assad forcefully  lashed out at protesters, and a monitoring mission sent to Syria by the Arab  League was unsuccessful in stopping the bloodshed.

Over the past 10 months, the United States has gradually stopped expressing  concern and now openly demands that Assad step down. The United States has also  embraced the Syrian opposition. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has  made a point of meeting publicly with exiled dissidents. But the administration  has stopped short of even suggesting any forceful intervention, preferring  instead to see the Arab League take a leading role in dealing with Syria.

Syrian Americans, a community estimated at 300,000, have mobilized in  response to the events back home. But the community has yet to galvanize around  any of the three main opposition groups — the National Council of Syria, the  Syrian National Coordination Committee or the Free Syrian Army. With no central  organization coordinating Syrian Americans’ advocacy efforts, a dozen or so  pro-democracy Syrian groups now operate in the United States alongside  individual activists who work outside the groups.

“In the Syrian community, dissidents were always isolated,” said Ammar  Abdulhamid, who has been in exile in the United States since 2005. “Because of  this reality, we had to develop our own identity.”

In the period preceding the Arab Spring outbreak, the Syrian community saw an  infusion of opposition figures and political activists who fled Syria in recent  years and are now leading the call on behalf of the opposition movement.

Abdulhamid and his fellow dissidents divide their time between supporting the  opposition in Syria through social networking and spreading information and  lobbying American decision-makers and the American public on the need for a more  active role for the United States. They tread a thin line, trying to prod  Washington to action, but on the other not wanting to be seen as driving the  United States to war.

Washington — “We believe it doesn’t have to be  a Libya-style bombing campaign,” Abdulhamid said. What most activists are asking  for is a supply of light weapons to the opposition, a maritime blockade to stop  the Syrian military from rearming and the establishment of safe zones near the  Syrian-Turkish border. These zones could provide shelter to activists and  refugees, but would require the declaration of no-fly and no-access rules and  the potential use of military force to carry them out.

The administration has rejected such proposals, making clear that, among  other things, it lacks the international backing it had during the uprising in  Libya. “It’s important to note that no member of the Security Council is  advocating for military intervention in Syria, as the Arabs did when they  initiated the action for Libya,” Susan Rice, America’s ambassador to the United  Nations, said in a January 23 meeting in New York with the American Jewish  Committee.

Mark Dubowitz, executive director of the Foundation for Defense of  Democracies, which supports. military action by the United States to maintain  democracy in the Middle East, lamented this position. “People think you need a  perfect situation, like we had in Libya, before we intervene,” he said. “Unfortunately, Libya has become the threshold test, and if that’s what we are  waiting for, it will never happen.”

Ziadeh has been unable to return home to Syria since 2007, when the  government issued an arrest warrant for him shortly after he came to the United  States. With several other activists, he founded the Syrian Center for Political & Strategic Studies, a think tank and advocacy group dedicated to advancing  democracy in Syria. The center’s push for increased pressure from America on  Assad includes meetings with members of Congress and administration officials,  and appeals in the media to move the Syrian issue to the front burner.

“Obviously, the administration has taken some excellent steps,” Ziadeh said, “but since calling for Assad to step down in September, the U.S. has been  leading from behind. If we miss the opportunity now, it will never come  again.”

Ziadeh, who openly met with Clinton last August, said he was called to a  meeting at the Syrian Embassy in Washington and told that information on his  anti-government activities had been sent to security forces in Syria. He said  his mother was interrogated and informed that if she told her son “to be  silent,” she would be granted an exit visa to visit him. A call to the Syrian  embassy seeking comment on Ziadeh’s claim was not returned.

Ziadeh is one of the few Syrian activists to communicate with American Jewish  groups. He appeared twice at events organized by the AJC, a group that has taken  a leading role in supporting Syrian opposition. A video of one of his speeches  was posted on YouTube, presumably by pro-regime activists, with a title  describing Ziadeh as a spy.

Two Syrian dissidents in the United States who gave an interview to Israel’s  daily Yediot Aharonot without disclosing their identity are now in hiding after  the state-run TV in Syria exposed their names and accused them of treason. The  report also included a fabricated letter in which the newspaper supposedly  acknowledges their identity.

Abdulhamid said that talking to Israelis and to Jewish groups is a matter of  controversy within the Syrian exile community, but he is among those who  maintain contacts with Jewish activists in Washington. “It’s true that at times  we are demonized when we do so, but we forget that if we want our rights, we  need to communicate,” he said. “We need to develop diplomatic skills.”

Report: Attempt to smuggle Assad’s wife out of Syria foiled

Syrian opposition sources tell Egyptian daily al-Masri al-Youm that Free Syrian Army rebel forces managed to prevent escape of first lady Asma Assad, relatives

ed note–let’s cut past all the fancy language and say what this is really all about–

Here we have the rebels talking about their plans to take as hostage innocent women and children in order to further their political goals, which in truth AREN’T THEIRS AT ALL, BUT RATHER THOSE OF ISRAEL AND THE US.

Has Bashar Assad’s wife been attempting to follow in the footsteps of the wife of Muammar Gadaffi? Egypt’s al-Masri al-Youm newspaper reported Sunday that Syrian rebels thwarted an attempt to smuggle Asma Assad, wife of Syrian President Bashar Assad out of the country.

Sources within the Syrian opposition said that the Free Syrian Army forces managed to prevent the escape of the first lady of Syria and additional relatives through Damascus airport.

According to the Egyptian daily, the sources claimed that Asma Assad, her children, Bashar Assad’s mother and his cousin were all in a convoy on the way to the airport when rebel forces under the command of a former senior officer in the Syrian army, blocked the their path.

After heavy exchanges of fire, the presidential security forces managed to get the convoy back to the presidential palace. The opposition sources alleged that Assad’s security forces pursued the deserter general, Mahmoud Halouf, former head of the Palestine branch of Syrian intelligence.

Tactical withdrawal?

The general’s unit, all former soldiers who deserted with him, 300 in total, said that when they saw the convoy the believed it was an attempt to smuggle senior officials out of the country – which is why they blocked the convoy’s path.

Meanwhile, Armored forces loyal to President Assad took control on Sunday of eastern suburbs of Damascus that had fallen into opposition control after two days of bombardment and fighting with rebels, activists said.

“The Free Syrian Army has made a tactical withdrawal. Regime forces have re-occupied the suburbs and started making house to house arrests,” Kamal, one of the activists, said by phone from the eastern Ghouta area on the edge Damascus.

He was referring to army defectors loosely grouped under the Free Syrian Army.

If the report about Asma Assad’s attempted escape is true, it would not be the first time during the Arab Spring that relatives of a failing ruler find a way to escape. Last August Muammar Gaddafi’s wife and three of his children managed to escape war-torn Libya and reach Algeria. Gaddafi was killed not long after.

Islam, family values, and the decline of Western Civilization

by Kevin Barrett

Ominous music plays as images appear on the screen: Muslim terrorists shoot Christians in the head, car bombs explode, executed children lie covered by sheets and a doctored photograph shows an Islamic flag flying over the White House.

“This is the true agenda of much of Islam in America,” a narrator intones. “A strategy to infiltrate and dominate America. … This is the war you don’t know about.”NY Times report on anti-Muslim hate film used in NYPD training

Let’s try a little historical IQ test. Read these items and connect-the-dots.

  • Zionist-made hate-Islam films are shown to American cops and soldiers as part of their training.

  • According to news reports, women kill their children so they can go out partying.

Actually, I lied. This isn’t an IQ test – it’s a Rorsach test. You’re welcome to interpret this data any way you want.

Here’s how I interpret it: The family unit, the basis of civilization, is falling apart in the West. The collapse of the family, education, public and private morality, aesthetic taste, literature and the arts, religion, grand narratives in general, the birth rate, marriage rate, etc. is symptomatic of steep cultural decline. The West is heading for the New Dark Ages, and there probably isn’t much anybody can do about it.*

Neoconservatives – cognizant of imperial collapse, panicked because Israel is the most vulnerable outpost of Western empire – are trying to save Israel, which in their view is synonymous with Western civilization, by uniting the West in hatred of Islam. To succeed in this, they have to tell gigantic lies 24/7/365.

Their central big lie: “Islam is a military threat to the West.”

Reality: The Islamic world is militarily feeble. While it is just barely possible that the combined military power of the world’s 1.5 billion Muslims might pose a serious threat to the tiny and dubiously legitimate “nation” of Israel – actually a settler colony stolen from the Muslims – there is no “Islamic military threat” to the USA, Europe, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand. The Mossad has had to bomb the World Trade Center twice, and launch false-flag attacks all over the globe, to create the appearance of such a threat.

Islam is being targeted not because it is a problem, but because it offers a solution.

There is only one major bloc of seriously religious people left on earth: Practicing Muslims. These are people who stop whatever they are doing (including sleep) at dawn, noon, mid-afternoon, dusk, and nightfall to practice salaat – a quasi-yogic ritual enactment of absolute submission to God. These are people who abstain from all food and drink, including water, throughout the daylight hours for a full month every year. These are people who do not touch alcohol – or any other drugs except maybe coffee or tea. These are people who abstain from sex outside of marriage.

Like Christians 500 years ago, practicing Muslims are as interested in the next life as in this one. (Unlike some extremist medieval Christians, they do not go so far as to denigrate this life or claim that it means nothing while the next life means everything; in this, as in all things, Islam offers balance.)

Among practicing Muslims, rates of crime, suicide, alcoholism, drug addiction, venereal disease, abortion, divorce, etc. are off-the-charts low. (Google “Islam most civilized Javed Jamil” for the data.)

The single strongest indicator of non-recidivism for prisoners is conversion to Islam.

The number of seriously practicing Muslims on earth is in the many hundreds of millions. Due to their relative success in forming and maintaining strong families, they are demographically outpacing less-religious folk, especially Westerners.

And Islam is a straightforward, sensible religion that “works.” Anybody who practices it sincerely gets the benefits – as reflected by the statistics showing that practicing Muslims are doing off-the-charts well in all important social indicators. (These, of course, are just material indicators of spiritual well-being, i.e. inner peace.)

That’s why Islam is the fastest growing religion in America, and in the world.

And THAT is the real “Islamic threat.”

Required reading on the decline of Western civilization includes Spengler, Gibbon, Morris Berman, Neil Postman, Eric Larsen, Pat Buchanan, Joseph Tainter, Don Delillo…that should keep you busy for awhile. Note that Berman is brilliant but gets 9/11 wrong. (The 9/11 inside job, and its acceptance by the masses and alleged intelligentsia despite all the elephant-in-the-living-room evidence, is an even stronger symptom of cultural decline than all of other evidence that Americans can’t tell their collective ass from a hole in the ground put together.)

IsraHell Wrecking Crews VS a State of Nonviolent Solidarity

by Eileen Fleming

Jeff Halper among the ruins

The night before President Obama’s State of our Union Address, Israeli authorities demolished the Beit Arabiya Peace Home for the fifth time.

Around about midnight on Monday, a bulldozer and a contingent of heavily armed Israeli soldiers once again demolished the home of Arabiya and Salim Shawamreh, and their seven children.

Also destroyed were residential and agricultural structures in the nearby Jahalin Bedouin compound and around eighty people including young children were displaced and left exposed in the desert on a cold rainy night.

Standing in solidarity with them were nonviolent Israeli and Palestinian activists who were threatened by the soldiers and Itay Epshtain, Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions/ICAHD’s Co-Director, was also beaten.

Commenting on the upcoming visit by the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Adequate Housing who was scheduled to visit the Beit Arabiya home, Itay Epshtain said, “It is our hope that while we cannot extend the same hospitality to the Special Raportueor, Prof. Raquel Rolnik will visit the ruins of Beit Arabiya and report on the utter cruelty and illegality of Israeli policies and practices, and that members of the international community will follow in her footsteps.”

While standing astride those ruins, ICAHD Director Dr. Jeff Halper, vowed, “We shall rebuild, we must rebuild as an act of political defiance of the occupation and protracted oppression of Palestinians.”

Salim the morning after home demolished

I once asked Jeff if the settlements were in actuality colonies- meaning foreigners had invaded and set up residence in another’s territory. Jeff agreed and added that, “When Jerusalem was controlled by Jordan, the East side was 6 sq. km. Since 1967, Israel has added 64 km. The West side was 38 sq. km until ‘67 and is now 108 sq. km’s. Israel plans to develop 17 settlements. Israeli policy is to maintain a 72% Jewish and 28% Arab population. Palestinians cannot get building permits to build upon their legally owned land. The Arab land has been re-zoned as green space, and the green space will be re-zoned for the settlements. Every single Palestinian home in Jerusalem has a demolition order. The entire West Bank has been zoned as agricultural land by Israel, and that will also be re-zoned again for more settlements.”

The US government and Media refer to the illegal colonies as “neighborhoods” but under international law all the settlements are considered illegal.

On my 2007 trip to Beit Arabiya, I rode upon roadways that link the settlements in a ring around the Old City of Jerusalem, and which Palestinians are denied access to. As we viewed acres of olive trees that had been chopped off by the Israeli army, Jeff Halper said, “I don’t just have a political problem with this Judiaization of the Old City, it is ecologically and environmentally offensive.”

I add it also is spiritually impoverished for the raping and pillaging of what is claimed holy ground refutes and denies the biblical meaning of dominion. The ancients understood dominion meant to nurture, love and protect but the destruction of Palestinian homes, the stealing and destroying of their legal property, has got to be an abomination unto God as well as a crime against humanity.

The Wrecking Crew

Situated at the crossroads of Areas A, B and C, the Beit Arabiya home had been a meeting place for Israelis, Palestinian and International peace activists.

Area A, the smallest of the three is under Palestinian authority. Areas B and C are under Israeli control.

ICAHD has determined the reasons for home demolitions is political and intended to confine the 3 ½ million residents of the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza into small, crowded, impoverished and disconnected enclaves; bantustans.

ICAHD reported that in 2011, a total of 622 Palestinian structures were demolished by Israeli authorities, of which 36% (or 222) were family homes; the remainder were livelihood-related (including water storage and agricultural structures), resulting in 1,094 people displaced, almost double the number for 2010.

Israel currently controls 40% of the West Bank through 149 settlements and 102 outposts, housing more than 500,000 Jewish Israelis.

The Wall, home demolitions, forced evictions, land expropriation, settler violence, movement restrictions have all contributed to strangulating Palestinian communities and economy. While Palestinians live in chronic fear of displacement and dispersion, Israel secures its domination and control and US politicians turn a blind eye to the injustice.

In my minds eye, I can still see the mural that had been painted on the outer wall of the Beit Arabyia home by the North American Workers Against the USA occupation of Iraq and the Israeli occupation of Palestine.

Arabyia among the ruins of her home

The mural depicted Rachel Corrie, the American who was run over by a USA made Caterpillar bulldozer in Gaza when she stood up to defend the home of a pharmacist with five children just a few days before President Bush began bombing Baghdad. Also pictured was a pregnant Palestinian woman of ten who also had been run over by a Caterpillar bulldozer in Gaza. The angelic images of the two women floated above a depiction of a USA made Caterpillar bulldozer that had tipped to one side and was flanked by tanks and images of weapons of destruction and many people along a railroad track-a reminder that prior to 1948, Jews and Palestinians had worked together in peaceful solidarity to build a railroad.

The Arabyia home, Anata and the Shufat refugee camps are located in the very area where the Hebrew prophet Jeremiah once critiqued the violent conflicts in the Mid East, “I hear violence and destruction in the city, sickness and wounds are all I see.” [Jeremiah 6:7]

During my 2007 visit, Mohammad Alatar, film producer of “The Iron Wall” addressed my group after we broke bread and ate a typical Palestinian feast prepared by the Arabiya family:

“I am a Muslim Palestinian American and when my son asked me who my hero was I took three days to think about it. I told him my hero is Jesus, because he took a stand and he died for it. What really needs to be done is for the churches to be like Jesus; to challenge the Israeli occupation and address the apartheid practices as moral issues. Even if every church divested and boycotted Israel it would not harm Israel. After the USA and Russia, Israel is the third largest arms exporter in the world. It is a moral issue that the churches must address.”

The first time I heard Jeff Halper, ICAHD co-founder and Director speak was in December 2005 during Holy Land Trust’s Celebrating Nonviolent Resistance Conference, in Bethlehem. Jeff told the conference crowd:

“We really are only but actors in a play. When we wake up to that, and become an active participant in the human drama and pursue justice, things must change because injustice is unsustainable.

“One out of three Israeli children lives below the poverty line. It’s probably about 80% for Palestinians. Jews are like everyone else, those who have been abused grow up to be abusers. Things here have been turned on their head: its victim mentality and denial about the occupation. Once Israelis accept the fact that they are occupiers they will have to admit their State Terrorism.”

Halper, has been arrested by Israel more times than he can recall because of his nonviolent persistent resistance to the occupation of Palestine. Jeff once told me that every time he is arrested and sentenced to community service, he tells “the judge I am serving the community but they just don’t get it! The Israeli government simply does not want to take responsibility and the USA government ignores the situation.

“Look, Jesus was all about justice and love. Jesus was no magician and his message has been lost by Christian Zionists who want Armageddon. They have taken Jesus’ teachings and turned them into a travesty by justifying the occupation.

“Do you know why Israel does not want to become America’s 51st state? Because then they would only have two senators!”

The Judaization of Palestine: 2011 Displacement Trends’ provides a political analysis of the root causes and consequences of Israel’s house demolition policy, focusing on the demolition of Palestinian homes and other structures in the Occupied West Bank. Click here to read the report.

Critical Appraisal of Ignoble NATO Attack on Salala Posts

by Asif Haroon Raja

It will be recalled that in order to multiply pressure on Pakistan, western border was deliberately heated up by strategic partners sitting in Kabul.

Between May and September 2011, tens of deadly raids had been conducted by Waliur Rehman and Maulvi Faqir led militants based in safe haven of Kunar and Fazlullah led militants based in Nuristan duly backed by Afghan National Directorate of Security (NDS), RAAM, Afghan regime and NATO.

Levies employed on border duties and villagers were cruelly killed by militants. Kabul and ISAF HQ were repeatedly requested to control cross border terrorism and to close down sanctuaries of anti-Pakistan militants in Kunar and Nuristan, but no heed was paid.

Perforce, GHQ deployed regular troops in Mehmand and Chitral and cleared the restive areas of the presence of undesirables. 7 AK Regiment was deployed in Mohmand Agency closer to Afghan border. It established several border posts to oversee possible infiltration routes.

Two posts, Volcano and Boulder, were set up ahead of Salala village in Mehmand Agency on a barren ridgeline about 8000 feet in height in a manner that that they leaned forward on the forward slope so as to effectively cover the valley running from east to west effectively.

The two posts, each comprising about platoon strength 34 soldiers were so deployed to cover northwestern and northeastern approaches. The weapons were sited in a manner to be able bring down enfilade and grazing fire in the valley.

One post covered the exit point of the valley in the west; the second post covered the eastern edge at the entry point. Company HQ with a platoon were in depth.

The posts located on a dominating feature enjoyed excellent line of sight and arc of fire. The two posts also acted as the screen of the battalion.

The valley was frequented by TTP militants together with ANA trained Afghan militants based in Kunar.

This route was the shortest and safest from Kunar and led straight to heart of Mehmand Agency wherefrom the infiltrators had multiple choices to either strike within that tribal agency, or Bajaur, or Upper or Lower Dir.

Deeper targets of Malakand, Buner, Swat or even Chitral and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa could also be approached via Mohmand. Northwestern edge of the ridges running from north to south and overlooking the said valley was under the control of pro-government tribal lashkar, which had assisted the security forces in chasing out terrorists.

As a consequence to deployment of these posts backed by troops in depth, several attempts by militants to sneak through the valley were successfully blocked by the two posts. As a result, cross border movement had ceased from mid October onwards.

Blockage of the main passageway resulted in assembly of large numbers of militants belonging to TTP in Kunar who were getting desperate to enter Pakistan and recapture the lost ground. They were also keen to settle scores with pro-government lashkars, who in their view had betrayed the cause of the tribesmen.

Karzai regime, NDS and Afghan National Army (ANA) were also boiling with anger after attacks on NDS HQ and murder of Rabbani in Kabul and wanted to settle scores. Their reprisal actions by militants based in Kunar had ceased as a result of military posts at Salala.

In order to seek assistance from NATO, NDS and RAW informed CIA that Pakistan sponsored militants were using Mehmand-Salala-Kunar route to create unrest in Kunar and other regions of Eastern Afghanistan.

It was also conveyed that the two Pakistani posts at Salala were not only providing cover to the infiltrators but also preventing the movement of their fighters into Mehmand.

Based on this input, a comprehensive plan was hatched in Kabul to provide covering fire to the batch of over 100 militants and ensure their safe entry.

It was also planned to destroy the two posts so as to remove the irritants for good so that future cross border movement could be resumed unhindered. As a cover plan, a mock operation by ANA was conducted in Kunar province closer to the border from 25 November onwards. NATO air cover was made part of the operation.

The area was well away from Salala area and deep inside Afghan territory and Pakistan Army was conveyed about it in advance. Six figure grid coordinates were once again conveyed to relevant authorities in Kabul through Army’s liaison officers in NATO HQ and in Border Coordination Centre (BCC). 7AK Regiment was also informed which could hear the noise of flying choppers on that fateful night.

Just before dawn on 25/26th, when all the soldiers were fast asleep except for the sentries on duty, two Apache helicopters suddenly crossed the border and started firing at the two posts indiscriminately. The helicopters remained at a safe distance for fear of being hit by an ack ack gun or a surface-to-air missile.

The helicopters were backed by four other combat helicopters and close air support was provided by F-18s. No sooner fire came on the posts, a field officer commanding the two posts instantly contacted the ISAF and informed that Pakistani posts were being attacked and fire must cease. But firing continued for one hour.

During this period, bulk of infiltrating force along with donkeys laden with ammunition and explosives moved passed the valley. By that time, urgent messages had been sent by GHQ on hotline and the helicopters turned back. When the helicopters went away and dust settled down, the defenders detected movement in the valley.

The stragglers had still not gone past the valley and as such were brought under coordinated fire. On receipt of distress signal from the militants, the helicopters returned. By then it had been established that the posts were not equipped with AA guns. As such the helicopters came closer and plastered the two posts with ATGMs with a vengeance for next thirty minutes.

Trigger happy NATO soldiers didn’t remove their fingers of the triggers to make sure that all the occupants of two posts died. 17 soldiers including one Major and one subaltern died and 16 soldiers received serious injuries. Seven soldiers from Company HQ who were on their way to evacuate the dead and injured were also targeted and killed taking the total to 24.

Taking a deeper look into the gory episode one finds that the timings were carefully selected on the premise that even the two sentries on duty would have dozed off.

In order to obfuscate facts the NATO has taken a plea as an afterthought that helicopters responded to the hostile fire coming from the posts.

There was no reason for the defenders to open fire at the helicopters without any provocation.

If one agrees to the NATO’s preposterous contention for argument sake, the fast moving and highly maneuverable helicopters with anti-armor and anti-aircraft protection could have easily moved away out of the range of the weapons deployed on ground.

Moreover, if the fire did come, it meant the entire lot was alert and in battle positions. If so, how come so many got killed and injured without incurring any damage to the attacking helicopters?

If it was unintentional, as claimed by NATO leadership, why couldn’t the helicopters equipped with night fighting capability see Pakistani flag fluttering on top of a post and soldiers dressed in uniform, particularly when each flying helicopter/jet/cargo plane carry marked map showing the border and border posts?

If the helicopters came in response to the call made by ANA, how come the attackers attacked the static posts atop a ridge line?

In these ten years the NATO should have learnt that Taliban never take up static defences and that too on hilltops. They prefer caves and valleys. If the helicopters made a mistake once, why was the mistake repeated?

If the map reference of Salala posts was marked wrongly by BCC or passed wrongly by NATO liaison officer, why the massacre continued for ninety minutes when NATO HQ was frenetically informed on hotline at multiple levels including GHQ to get the fire stopped forthwith?

Had the purpose been to demolish the two posts, it could have been done within few minutes using ATGMs and that too from 3 km distance and not for ninety minutes.

Since the real purpose was to give covering fire to the infiltrators, heads of the troops manning the posts were pinned down to facilitate unobserved and unhindered movement of infiltrators carrying their extra baggage on donkeys.

It will be sheer under estimation of NATO power to take nearly two hours to destroy posts made of cement blocks and strengthened by sand bags.

It was a willful massacre and it didn’t end on 26 November. The terrorists that manged to sneak in on that night are now busy carrying out terrorist attacks in Kyhber Pakhtunkwa, Khyber Agency and other nearby areas.

The inquest carried out by ISAF’s Brig Stephen Clark apportions equal blame on both sides and wrongfully maintains that the fire was in self-defence and in retaliation to the provocative fire by the posts.

The US accepts several omissions made by attackers but terms all of them coincidental and affixes partial responsibility on Pakistan.

It is inconceivable that the ISAF with best technology was unaware of the existence of two posts.

The US officials consistently stated that the attack was unintentional before and during the course of inquiry thereby influencing the investigating team.

The US wants Pakistan Army to accept this factually incorrect report based on half-truths and forget about the incident and get back to normal business.

It says so because its previous incursions on four occasions were taken lightly by Pakistan. It wants the extra judicial murder of 24 soldiers to be also ignored but refuses to accepts its fault and to render apology since it hurts its ego.

Mercifully, the Army and the government are on one page. Not only the report has been rejected, the government has taken bold and appropriate steps to checkmate America’s bellicosity and aggressive unilateralism.

New terms of engagement have been chalked out by Parliamentary Committee and hopefully Pak-US relations would become more even handed and based on equality, trust and mutual respect.

On Its First Anniversary: Egypt Revolution Continues

“The revolutionary public opinion and demands that were created in Tahrir square needed to be politically purused by revolutionary cadres and leadership.”

Dr. Ashraf Ezzat

Mubarak wheeled into the courtroom at the latest hearing of his case.

“Mubarak is neither a tyrant nor a bloodthirsty man  …

He is a clean man, who could say no wrong. Mubarak has seriously and faithfully worked to the best of his abilities and energy for Egypt and its people and lived a life burdened by his nation’s problems” Said Fareed El-Deeb, Mubarak’s lawyer as he argued his case at a latest hearing and just days prior to the first anniversary of the Egyptian revolution.

“Mubarak is worthy of justice and no one should discredit his efforts, question his loyalty or history. There is no evidence to prove that Mubarak gave orders to open fire on the protesters or even to prove he sealed the natural gas deal with Israel … and how could you accuse Mubarak of killing the protesters when he, in fact, supported the revolution” added El-Deeb.

Mubarak can’t be proven guilty and his lawyer hails him as a pro-democracy liberal who looked favorably on the Egyptian uprising. … It’s funny and almost surreal but that’s how Mubarak’s trial is proceeding. It’s true that Egyptians like jokes but not this kind of mockery of justice.

Field Marshal, Hussein Tantawi

Key witnesses in the deposed president’s trial, Mr. Omar Soliman, Mubarak’s vice president and former chief of intelligence and Field Marshal Houssein Tantawy, the minister of defense and the current head of the supreme council of armed forces (SCAF) declined to attest that Mubarak gave direct orders to shoot the peaceful protesters.

This Actually comes as no surprise, after all, those were Mubarak’s long time loyal aides and anyone thought or expected differently was probably living in a world of make believe.

And on the other hand any down to earth reading of a post-Mubarak Egypt would have most likely excluded the guards of the old regime out of the newborn political scene. But we’re talking here of the reality of a revolution that only managed to topple the head of the despotic regime … but not the regime itself.

The 18 days (January 25- February 11) of the Egyptian uprising have been the most fantastic story in Egypt’s modern history but unfortunately every story has to come to an end. And what we’ve been witnessing throughout an entire year is the gloomy and systematic hijacking of that revolution.

Academically, the revolution is defined as a fundamental change in power or organizational structures that takes place in a relatively short period of time.

What the millions of Egyptians did in 18 days was absolutely revolutionary in every sense of the word, but the mass mobilization, a rare phenomenon in a society known for its propensity for stability and obedience , was not the only recipe for a successful regime change.

Other factors had to be incorporated; the miraculous mass mobilization in Tahrir Square the whole world was mesmerized by had to somehow turn into a political force. The revolutionary public opinion and the revolutionary demands that were created in Tahrir square needed to be politically purused by revolutionary cadres and leadership.

The public opinion, no matter how strong, in and of itself is not capable of changing the political direction, and that is one lesson the Tahrir revolutionaries had to learn the hard way throughout the last year.

The lack of organized secular political parties that really believed in the necessity for a regime change in Egypt, that could have reflected the revolutionary tide on the street, and somehow could have offered a considerable counterweight to the Islamists, is what really crippled the Egyptian revolution and hindered its tide.

Dr. Mohamed El-Baradei

The Egyptian revolution couldn’t stay grassroots forever; Tahrir square needed a leader as powerful and vibrant as the Tahrir protests. And that is what the saga of Tahrir square critically lacked.

Indeed Mr. Mohamed El-Baradei could have made a good president for post-Mubarak Egypt- of all the presidential hopefuls he was and still is my personal choice- but unfortunately, while the man had the right vision and the most impressive portfolio of political expertise he lacked the charisma and the perseverance needed to lead the revolution out of Tahrir square and advance it into the political arena.

El-Baradei could be active on the internet social media where he communicates with the liberal and educated factions of the Egyptian society, but he has no popularity on the Egyptian street, and if the Egyptian revolution was a facebook/Twitter revolution the man could have easily secured his bid for the presidency.

With the withdrawal of El-Baradei from the presidential race, a move that relieved many in the Israeli political circles for they knew beyond doubt that a politician of his caliber could turn Egypt into a vibrant and powerful democracy, the presidential race hasn’t only narrowed but also weakened with the remaining candidates merely representing the old regime and the political Islam.

An unprecedented number of Egyptians have taken to the streets and squares of Egypt in commemoration of last year’s momentous Day of Rage

The Egyptian revolution is only one year old and the situation will probably get worse before it gets better as the military eyeing to preserve its own political and economic autonomy and maintain its de facto status as a state within the state.. The first post-revolution parliament has just held its first meeting, and if it is anything it is certainly not the revolution parliament.

But we are where we are, so the next question is whether the Tahrir square revolution will actually fulfill its promise of “dignity, freedom and social justice” or whether it will simply usher in an era of extremist Islamist regimes or new forms of military authoritarianism.

The thousands of Egyptians who packed Tahrir square and other squares in Egypt’s major cities on January 25, the first anniversary of the revolution, will not be celebrating the day as most of the revolution’s demands remain unmet, but they will be protesting again, they will make it clear for all the people in power that the Egyptian revolution continues to empower its people.

Jewish Imperial News

By Gilad Atzmon

This last weekend brought with it some vile manifestations of Jewish politics in its most horrific forms.

United Against the Goyim

In the USA, the owner and publisher of the Atlanta Jewish Times, Andrew Adler, suggested that Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu should consider ordering a Mossad hit team to assassinate U.S. President Barack Obama so that his successor will defend Israel against Iran.

Actually, it wasn’t just Obama whom Adler suggested to eliminate, the Atlanta Jewish Times listed three lethal options to help Israel counter Iran’s nuclear capability. The first, to launch a pre-emptive strike against Hamas and Hezbollah, the second to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities and the third is to assassinate the current American president.

Devastatingly, Adler’s murderous attitude towards politics is wholly consistent with some Biblical and Talmudic anti-gentile teaching. It recalls clearly certain Old Testament genocidal verses such as Leviticus 26:7-8:

‘You will chase your enemies, and they shall fall by the sword before you. Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall by the sword before you.’

It is also consistent with the appalling way in which Palestinians are abused by the Jewish State.  But it is also consistent with the Jewish cultural wrath towards the dissenting Jesus and towards dissent in general. May I remind readers that the word Yeshu – Jesus in Hebrew – is the abbreviation of the Hebrew phrase

“may his name and memory be blotted out”.

Without comparing president Obama to Jesus, Adler’s homicidal inclination is somewhat similar. Seemingly, some Jews have yet to forgive Jesus – nor President Obama. .

The American Jewish Committee in Atlanta condemned Adler’s article, saying that Adler’s proposals were

“shocking beyond belief.”

– a pretty bizarre reaction, considering  that the American Jewish Committee is itself an enthusiastic advocate of a war against Iran. Similarly, warmonger Alan Dershowitz listed recently the ‘legal’ reasoning behind an Israeli attack on Iran. True, he has yet to call for an American President to be murdered, he just thinks that launching another world war is a ‘reasonable’ thing to do. And, as far as I can remember, the American Jewish Committee didn’t rush to denounce Dershowitz or to apologise on his behalf or in the name of the Jews.

United Against Freedom

In Britain, following some relentless Jewish Lobby pressure, Press TV, The Iranian News Channel was forced off the air after Ofcom  (The ‘Independent’ regulator for the UK Communications Industries), revoked its licence for ‘breaching the Communications Act’. This should come as no surprise. Bearing in mind that 80% of British Tory MPs are Conservative Friends of Israel, we in Britain must expect the rapid fading away of some of our most elementary freedoms.

United Against Palestine

On Saturday the Islamophobic blog Harry’s Place and the Zionist mouthpiece Jewish Chronicle completed their takeover of UK Palestinian Solidarity Campaign (PSC). In the last two years, the PSC EC has expelled and marginalised some of its leading intellectuals amongst them some prominent Palestinian and Muslim activists and now, at last, they are beginning to receive their just credit.

In the last two months we have noticed that the PSC has been praised by both the notorious JC and Harry’s Place. Two weeks ago, pro-war Harry’s Place thanked the Jewish ‘anti’-Zionists for promoting Jewish tribal interests at the midst of the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign and this weekend a PSC Executive member confirmed that PSC’s latest maneuvers against ‘anti-Semitism’ were in response to criticism from the rabid Zionist website Harry’s Place and the Jewish Chronicle. Like others, I am confused.  Should a Palestinian solidarity group surrender to an Islamophobic blog, a Zionist paper and other ‘Jews-only’ pressure groups?

Judging by the scale of the  celebration on Islamophobic Harry’s Place, you’d be forgiven for assuming that PSC – now firmly committed to the struggle against anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial – is now just one more Zionist outlet, whose prime interest is in promoting Jewish tribal interests. I’m sure that the Palestinians in besieged Gaza and in refugee camps all over the Middle East are over the moon.

However, to counter the now complete Zionist takeover of PSC EC, a bunch of leading solidarity  activists, journalists and intellectuals have launched deLiberation, a new UK dissident magazine. We aim to become a leading UK media outlet, to provide news, analysis and fearless criticism – exactly where The Guardian and the BBC so miserably fail. And we will fill that space now created by the current PSC Executive Committee.

United Against The Guardian

Two days ago, I discovered that CIF Watch, a Jewish supremacist site interested solely in cleansing British press of any criticism of Israel and Jewish power, was boasting that the Guardian surrendered to their pressure and

‘removed an Atzmon passage.’

Apparently the Jewish site was annoyed that Khaled Diab quoted me as saying

“The Jewish state is pretty devastated by the idea that a bunch of ‘indigenous Arabs’ are far more technologically advanced than its own chosen cyber pirates.”

Specifically, it didn’t approve of the Guardian printing the word ‘chosen’ in reference to Jews.

The CIF Watch site says of itself that it is

dedicated to monitoring anti-Semitism and combatting the assault on Israel’s legitimacy in the Guardian newspaper’s

Comment is Free’ blog.” So, it is not against racism or discrimination in general, but solely interested in matters to do with one group and its tribal interests.

Shocking but typically, the Guardian surrendered immediately to the Zionist’s demands. As the Guardian rushed to admit: the word ‘chosen’ “is at odds with ‘Guardian regulations”. But the Guardian needs reminding that ‘Choseness’ may be at odds with ‘Guardian regulations’ but it is clearly not ‘at odds’ with Israeli practice, the Israeli legal system, the Jewish Lobby and even Jews-only Palestinian solidarity groups.

United Against Truth

Three months ago I published ‘The Wandering Who’. This book presented a harsh criticism of Jewish identity politics, Left, Right and Centre. It openly argued that contemporary Jewish identity politics is exclusivist, in most cases, racially driven and, in many ways, is a threat to world peace. In some ways, as in Adler’s call to assassinate Obama, it actually also endangers Jews.

The book attempts to grasp the bizarre continuum between Israeli barbarism, Adler’s homicidal inclination, the PSC EC surrender to rabid Zionist bodies and the ‘Guardian’s regulation’.  The book points to the political culture that made Jewish identity politics so powerful and, at the same time, so blind. And in spite of a united front’s attempt to silence the book and its message, in just a short space of time the book sold thousands of copies and its message is spreading like a forest fire.

I’m not one bit surprised by the surge of Jewish power. I wrote a book about it. But, being intimately familiar with Jewish history, I know exactly where it will lead. Jewish political arrogance has always proved to be, above all, devastatingly dangerous for Jews.

For the sake of peace, both Jews and gentiles must confront the prominence of Jewish identity politics. We should never be afraid to question ideologies and lobbies that impose a threat to peace, our value systems, freedom of thought, humanity and humanism..

Killing Obama – Andrew Adler in an Emotional Video Apology

Update: Atlanta Jewish Times Editor Andrew Adler – a Victim of Israeli Iran Threat Hype – Classic Game Theory Warfare on Steroids

…by  Jim W. Dean,  VT Editor

The Iran Threat is a Total Hoax – Being Pushed by Criminals

Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasters got an exclusive interview with  Andrew Adler, below.  They are a long time non profit broadcast booster to the Atlanta faith community, providing a pooled resource platform. VT is happy to offer you a front row seat to hear his story.

What you are about to view is a classic broken man…with no acting going on.  Those of us who have seen this numerous times, you can always tell. So I think now that we have a true blue believer here that got wound up a little too tight. More on that later.

Please pay close attention to the part where he let says that in an interview show he had with the Deputy Israeli General Consul for the Southeast, that he was upset by her description of the dire threat that Israel was living under…the 15,000 rockets.

This is pure Israeli-Iran threat hype, of course.  It should be prosecutable under the Nuremberg precedents, ‘waging an offensive war’, and all of us here look forward to the day where we can watch the trials online.

We have written many times that Iran is of no offensive threat to the U.S. or Israel, with their military totally deployed in a defensive mode which it has to be from the threat of Israel’s Weapons of Mass Destruction umbrella.

We have had no one calling here from American military or intelligence willing to embarrass themselves by telling us about some silly Iran threat stories. We would not take their calls anymore, and they know it.

They know we can read all of that in our wonderful controlled mass media. But we do have folks contacting us about ‘the crazies’, and there are more than a few of them.

The Israeli Elite Mobsters Dream Only of Eternal War as a Distraction from Their Looting

On the other hand, the Israelis keeping American Jews in a high state of anxiety is deemed an national security issue for the Zios.

And that is not because Iran is really a threat, but because they want the American support money to keep flowing to Israel so their elite mobsters can keep the country afloat while they continue looting it.

If I told you how few families own Israel, the economy I mean, you would not believe it, so I won’t. And oh, let’s not forget oil futures manipulation.

Without the falsely created war threats, the war party crowd over there would be run out of the country or imprisoned via five to ten years of corruption and fraud investigations and trials.

You never read about any of this in the U.S. because you aren’t allowed to.

The rabid Russian Zionist and racist Avigdor Leiberman is in the cross hairs now for a bribery and money laundering charges.  Gee whiz, they do it there, too!

This would knock him out of the government, putting his Russian faction up for grabs and throw Israel into new elections. There will be huuugge pressure to not do that. Maybe the Zios could teach us some things about prosecuting top officials over here.  God only knows we need the help. But they would probably want to charge a fortune for it!!

With Friends Like This Who Need Enemies

The Russian pretend-a-jews have a fairly simple political platform…kill all of the Arabs or drive them into surrounding countries. And unlike the repentant Andrew Adler, they are not afraid to tell you that over and over.

Don’t believe me? Ask a non-Russian Israeli.

The American Jewish groups are doing double back flips for Adler’s comments regarding one important person. But they are strikingly silent regarding the crescendo of the Radical Zionist King Torah Jews who claim religious law permission to destroy not only their current enemies, but any future ones to boot.

My own Rabbi Weiss of Neturie Karta filled me in on all this, in spades during his Atlanta visit some years ago and a half day of studio shooting.

As I was watching this truly suffering man I had to think of some poor repentant Muslim kid having come out of a Madrassa school feeling that he ‘had to do something’ to save Islam, and then later realized that he had gone too far after viewing the carnage he caused.

I don’t know if Mr. Adler gets it yet. He has an opportunity for a possible epiphany here. That can be a scary thing…and he has already been through a lot in the past week.

Andrew Adler

For what he believes to be sincere reasons he had drunk the Koolaid and his main regret may be no longer being able to imbibe.

But I would suggest to Mr. Adler that there might be a silver lining in all this. He is about as classic an Israeli Intel propaganda hustle deal as I have ever seen and we will be checking out who their ‘active folks’ are in the Israeli embassy here.

Jews, of course, come in all shapes and sizes, including being a Jihaddi Jew, or heaven forbid, a Hebrew Klu Klux Klan Jew like Leiberman, the rising star. If that is what Adler loves about Israel then he has a trunk load of problems.

But maybe he is a King Torah Jew, heaven forbid again. Gordon Duff did quite a piece on these folks back in August of 2010, that would make Mr. Adler look like a cub scout.

“In the 230-page book, Shapira and his co-author, Rabbi Yosef Elitzur (The King’s Torah, currently Israel’s best selling book)  argue that Jewish law permits the killing of non-Jews in a wide variety of circumstances.

They write that Jews have the right to kill Gentiles in any situation in which “a non-Jew’s presence endangers Jewish lives” even if the Gentile is “not at all guilty for the situation that has been created”.

The book sanctions the killing of non-Jewish children and babies: “There is justification for killing babies if it is clear that they will grow up to harm us, and in such a situation they may be harmed deliberately, and not only during combat with adults.”

The rabbis suggest that harming the children of non-Jewish leaders is justified if it is likely to bring pressure to bear on them to change policy.

The authors also advocate committing “cruel deeds to create the proper balance of terror” and treating all members of an “enemy nation” as targets for retaliation, even if they are not directly participating in hostile activities.” (false flag terrorism)

Sharon Kabalo – Did you do this to Andrew Adler?

So dear Mr. Adler, please try to chill out a bit. You may not be so bad after all.  Most all of us have been under some bad influence at some time. “All those who have been betrayed…please raise your hands” See…there are a lot of us.

The indoctrination you have been living under is not the same, but similar to the teen strapping on a suicide vest for the 72 virgins. It sounds good, and lots of people that you respect tell you it’s true and what a credit to your people.

It takes lots of conditioning to prepare someone to do that. You sir, were a victim of that conditioning.

That is my professional opinion at this point. And there are many more where you came from as the Israeli propaganda machine runs 24/7.

But you may have been hanging out with a bad crowd. I have seen the mindset for a long time. As long as it’s for Israel,  you have like a free ‘get out of going to hell’ pass, but it isn’t. You will be judged more by what you do from here on out than this goof that Deputy Consul Sharon Kabalo pumped you up for.

Deputy Consul – Sharon Kabalo

Deputy Consulate slots, BTW, are reserved for a certain type of specialty job. Your homework assignment will be to tell me what that is if we ever meet.

Some do it for money, others for fame, some out of fear, or because they feel are True Believers, Eric Hofer style, a famous Jew that no one knows. But what I have found most of them do not know is that the same techniques are used to produce a Jewish Jihaddi as a Muslim one.

The amoral people who do this work could run a West Bank Settler school in the morning and a Muslim Madrassa in the afternoon.  All they would have to do is change clothes, redecorate a bit, and make a few alterations in the curriculum. They both can graduate living time bombs who will kill you with no mercy or regret.

The Israelis lead the way in Game Theory Warfare. They don’t even need the classroom, or the teacher for that matter. Can can put it literally into your brain and you don’t even know it.

When Israeli mathematician Robert J. Aumann received the 2005 Nobel Prize in economic science for his work on game theory, he conceded, “the entire school of thought that we have developed here in Israel” has turned “Israel into the leading authority in this field.” ...Jeff Gates.

The truest ‘Go out and be a light unto the world’ Jews that I know are the Neturie Karta folks. But hooking up with them will cost you a lot of your current relationships. The Zios hate them with a passion, because the NK people have them nailed, up one side and down the other. Their archives on the Zio’s dirty laundry are incredible.

One of the reasons is some of their members used to be Israeli Intel people who did false flag synagogue bombings and anti-semitic campaigns in the post ’48 period to encourage reluctant North African Jews to move to Israel.

It worked like a charm, but in later years some of them felt bad about it and joined NK. I have all this on studio tape, BTW.

So please don’t feel so bad about last week. You have not killed Jews for Israel yet.

Atlanta Jewish Times owner Andrew Adler issues an emotional apology in an exclusive video interview with AIB-TV Executive Producer Audrey Galex, for an editorial in his newspaper in which he counts the assassination of a US president as among Israel’s three options in the face of an Iranian nuclear threat.

Adler also apologized directly to President Obama, the state of Israel and the Atlanta Jewish community stating his intention was to generate wider interest in the threat to Israel by Iran’s nuclear capability.

Eric Hoffer – The Common Man Philosopher

I am going to add these Eric Hofer YouTube links as I found them by luck last night (01-24-12). Last time I had checked on him there was no video of him anywhere and I have always been dying to see/hear him in person. I am sharing the treat.

He was one of our greatest Jewish writers and immigrants and he never would have been conned by Sharon Kabalo because with his street smarts he would have spotted it coming a mile a way.

There are three videos of the five mentioned posted. For some reason the other two did not get put up. But watch all three. He starts our slow…but really gets animated once rolling.

And it is quite a show with the stiff Eric Severaid, the wrong person to interview him really. What I would give to be able to climb into a time machine and interview him myself…but alas I shall have to wait.

Hoffer was generally hated by intellectuals. I will let you discover why by watching and not ruin your fun. Men like this, who all Americans should really be intimately aware of for the ‘street smarts’ they can instill…are buried.

Our powers that be prefer to be able to manipulate you with minimal effort because they have already spent a lot of money to prepare your minds for that. It is a very big business actually.

Am I saying that most of us are all mini-Manchurian candidates walking around waiting for the right key words to trigger us off? Yes I am. And to get out of that mode requires some serious deprogramming…which you have to be motivated to do yourself.

How do I know? Because I have been through the process, and will gladly admit that I was lucky to have had some very talented assistance to shorten the work.

All of Hoffer’s archives are at the Hoover  Institute. If anyone knows where any video or audio recordings of him can be found I would be most grateful to know.

And if you want a one book read that will body armor your brain from being hustled via the most often used tactics, do yourself a favor and pick up one of the inexpensive used copies of The True Believer.

It could be the biggest bang for the buck, knowledgewise, you may ever enjoy.

The audio on this is a bit rough in some places so you will miss a few words. The VHS tapes are way past their prime now. CBS may have the masters buried away, but this is a good example that we all need to do all we can to get great material like this digitized to stop the deterioration from tape age.

The Reality Show Election of 2012

A Game of Shadows

Should We Stop Investing in “Who” is U.S. President?

by Johnny Punish

As we enter the 2012 Presidential elections does it really matter who’s President of the U.S.A.?

Each year Americans get all excited and hopeful as they watch all the election TV shows; getting as much information as possible to elect their U.S. President.

Americans love and buy into the SUPERPAC commercials created and purchased by the candidates – oops – I mean “friends” of the candidates.

And each year, after it’s all over, the winner celebrates with his voters and the majority of the people throw a confetti and balloon party.  And then the very next day, it’s back to business as usual. The president thanks all of his citizen supporters, turns his back, and walks into that Oval Office to meet with his real owners.  And boom, nothing the voters hoped for gets done unless it is in the interests of the owners.  Welcome to 21st century America!

Now don’t get me wrong, I love democracy and I am rooting for it.  And yes, democracy does exist in the USA.  It’s just at the simple local level where your vote does have an effect and the owners don’t have a real interest.

The Biggest Shadow Game on the Planet

Unfortunately, at the federal level, the game is so big that the people’s vote is meaningless.  It’s just there to give the impression that one has a voice.  And so the voter feels good about his leadership and the owners that stand behind the dark curtains.  And so the real business can proceed with a citizenry who’s in love with watching a reality show.  Why else do you think we get characters like Newt, Romney, Santorum, Bachmann, and Cain?  This is MTV for old folks home!  Thank you Citizens United!

Okay so now the spokesman for the owners, ergo the U.S. President, has his job and his trusty teleprompter giving him the eloquent words to speak for the day.  It’s a good show and Americans love it.  While it might not compete with the Kardashians it’s certainly up there with Dancing with the Stars; which is not too shabby.

Oh by the way, what happened to Chazz Bono?  Did he?  I mean, she – err – um?  Forget it!

War for the White House

YouTube – Veterans Today –

* Obviously this video is satire but voter fraud in Iowa was actually confirmed!  For more info, please read “Conspriacy Iowa Vote“.

De-Mock-Crazy: Owners Laughing at Us

So now what?  What do we do?  Well, some tried revolt with Occupy Wall Street movement but that seemed  to fade into the long dark police state ending with a face-book post from a trusty government surveiled I Phone and some mace to the face by a wayward New York Police Stormtrooper.

Was that the best revolt Americans can muster?

If so, the owners of the country are bathing in its mediocrity.  Millions that were needed to defeat the owners never jumped on.  They were not were ready because they still have the propaganda induced American Dream Disease (ADD).  All together now “We’re Number #1!”

So are Americans too numb or still too happy to revolt?

I mean have Americans given up on revolt and merely accepted the fact that this is a corporatocracy with a reality show called “De-Mock-Crazy“?

Ron Paul and Integrity Don’t Fly with the Owners

Now there is a truth-to-power force called Ron Paul.  This guy is speaking truth to power and only beholden to the money of “we the people”.  But does he have a real chance against the predators?

I mean did you see that farce called the debate last night?  What a joke?  Brian Willliams is just another tool.

He went back and forth to the Super-Pac candidates Romney and Newt and virtually ignored Paul giving him 10% of time; a token.

Instead, they play him up to be crazy and insane when, in reality, he’s the only one NOT bold face fronting for the 1% lying like there’s no tomorrow.  Yet, he’s marginalzed and branded fringe when he’s the only real person standing on his own.

I mean wow integrity is not something that’s rewarded by the owners right?  They seem to only invest in deception and farce.   Maybe next they can get Newt to marry Kim Kardashian.  That would be OPEN right Calista?   I mean it’s just the reality within this reality show.  It’s bonkers folks and the public still prefers the con to the truth.  What does that say about human nature?

For me, I love Ron Paul.  I don’t agree with everything that he sells but I am 100% sure he’s selling from the heart.  And that is something to respect.  The rest?  Con men who dont’ believe in their product.

Dr. Paul is really is telling it like it is and holding us to personal responsibility and a mirror that hurts but it’s true. But he has no shot at being President does he?  I mean they simply won’t let him in.  And if he sniffs winning, they will simply rig it or threaten him with an offer that he can’t refuse because the owners never lose.

I mean come on….do you think they will really allow Dr. Paul to get rid of the banksters?  Like that’s going to fly with these psychotic predators!  No friggin way!  We’re dealing with real top predators folks.  We are merely their food.  Get it!  They will play to kill.   We’re talking the top of immorality;  Sun Tzu Art of War guys wearing noveau Machevellian suits made by that famed international designer Nathan Rothschild.   Do you really buy what they are sellling?  Come on!

Invest In Reality TV and Cash In

So for me, I have stopped investing in “who” is U.S. President. It does NOT  matter! The owners run the show no matter what!  They are playing a completely different game and we’re not invited.

I mean come on!  Obama pledged to close Gitmo.  And I am sure he truly believed that telling us something that we know is inherently moral and right was the thing to do but when he entered that Oval Office, well…… the owners said “No, No Barry!  No Can Do” and boom, gone!  Gitmo is rockin’!

And what about going after George W. Bush and Dick Cheney for war crimes?  Where was the investigation?  The special prosecutor?  Do I need to mention 9/11?  Really?  Blah blah blah!

It’s not that Obama is a bad guy. I am sure he’s a really nice guy.  But really, he’s not in control. He can’t do what he wants.  Like Georgy Bush, he can only read the teleprompter albeit 100 times better than poor idiot Georgy and then go on vacation.  That’s the job they accepted.  It’s an acting gig!  Do the job, get paid well and go off into the sunset, set for life.

Let me see…um?  Wal-Mart cashier or President set for life.  Hey I can act!  Where do I apply?

Ronald Reagan: America’s First Great Actor President

While all Presidents since John F. Kennedy have been controlled by the owners, it was Ronald Reagan who perfected the talking head role. He really showed us that a good actor can be an effective talking head.

For those too young too remember, he was called “The Great Communicator” or as we in Hollywood called him; a low grade bad B actor and a real jerk-off union busting leader of the Screen Actors Guild.

Anyways, since Reagan, the presidency has been on a collision course with a 21st Century reality show.

Now, I am NOT sure about George H.W Bush.  He seemed like a he was one of the shadow guys who let his ego get in the way.   Think of the Teflon Don John Gotti.  The boss got in front of the camera.  Oops!  Bad idea!  You’re suppossed to be quiet in the shadow you dumbass!

No matter, after that little NWO faux paux, Clinton, Bush II, and Obama were clearly not invited to the meetings where the owners discussed the game plan.  They just marched along, smiled and played their role.  Don’t get mad folks? This is the biggest game in the world.  Are you really surprised that we are merely peasants with an email address?

So now what?

Go Back to Your Wal-Mart Job and Shut Up

So maybe we should go back to our “middle class” job at STAPLES as U.S presidential candidate Romney recently said at a reality show debate and hope the owners don’t cut us off from the relatively cheap gas, food, bread, and water!  I mean maybe we should just enjoy the show and pay the monthly fee for the right to watch.  Or maybe we should revolt?  But how?  Where?  When?  With what?  Against who?

For me?  This morning the Academy Awards just announced their nominees for 2012. So I am rooting for Newt Gingrich as best actor in a Comedy!  Oh I heard the Bilderbergers are up for best Director but that they are being fronted by Steven Spielberg.  Ah who knows?  I like this NWO show!   Popcorn please!
