Zio-Nazi Gestapo Shin Bet security service confirms Toulouse gunman spent time in IsraHell

According to security officials, Mohamed Merah entered Israel after crossing the Allenby Bridge from Jordan in September 2010 where he was investigated by the Shin Bet,

An investigation by Israeli intelligence revealed on Monday that Mohamed Merah, the gunmen responsible for last week’s Toulouse shootings, spent time in Israel and Palestinian territories over a year and a half ago.

According to the Shin Bet, Merah entered Israel after crossing the Allenby Bridge from Jordan in September 2010. He was investigated by the Shin Bet. The investigation did not bring up any suspicious information, and he was allowed to enter the country.

Furthermore, The Shin Bet investigation could not confirm a claim by the French intelligence that Merah was arrested in Israel with a knife.

Merah stayed in Israel for a total of three days, during which it is unknown whether he was involved in any terror-related activity.

Security sources told Haaretz that Merah visited Israel before his stay in Afghanistan or Pakistan, thus there was no information that could indicate whether or not he constituted a security threat.

The revelation comes a day after a French judge placed Merah’s brother under formal investigation. Abdelkader Merah is set tobe moved to a prison and remain there for the duration of an inquiry into suspected complicity in a spate of fatal shootings.

A legal source told Reuters that four anti-terrorist judges would lead an inquiry into gunman Mohamed Merah’s killing of three Jewish children, a rabbi and three soldiers, and investigate his elder brother for complicity.

“He has been placed under formal investigation in line with the prosecutor’s requirements,” the source said.

Mohamed Merah was shot dead by a police sniper on Thursday as he scrambled out of his apartment window, firing a pistol, after special force commandos stormed his home in the southern city of Toulouse to break a more than 30-hour siege.

He earlier told police negotiators he had carried out the three shootings in Toulouse and the surrounding area to avenge the deaths of Palestinian children and protest against the French army’s role in Afghanistan. He said he regretted there were not more victims.

Since his death, the focus of the investigation has switched to Abdelkader, 29, who was already known to security services for helping smuggle Jihadist militants into Iraq in 2007. He is suspected of playing a role in providing logistical support to his brother.

Abdelkader had been in detention since dawn on Wednesday as police in Toulouse and then Paris questioned him. Being placed under formal investigation is the next legal step after being held in custody and means that a criminal trial is likely.

Israel confirms questioning Toulouse terrorist in 2010

Defense sources confirm Mohammed Merah stopped in Israel en route to Afghanistan in September 2010, aroused suspicion of border officers but eventually allowed to enter country.

Sources in the Defense establishment confirmed on Monday that Toulouse terrorist Mohammed Merah had visited Israel.

According to examinations conducted recently, Merah, who murdered a rabbi and three children in a Jewish school last week, stopped in Israel en route to Afghanistan in September 2010.

Defense sources confirmed that the terrorist entered Israel from Jordan via the Allenby crossing. He was questioned after arousing the suspicion of border officers but was eventually allowed to enter Israel after it was determined he wasn’t involved in terrorist activity.

Merah entered Israel as a tourist with a French passport. The sources had no knowledge of reports that he had been caught with a knife in Jerusalem, as claimed by a French minister last week. Merah left Israel after three days and returned to Jordan.   Meanwhile, French newspaper Le Parisien revealed additional details from the terrorist’s exchange with French police during the siege on his house. He told the officers that a day prior to the raid, he had noticed three suspicious cars parked outside his building. He also claimed he was being followed.

It was also reported that a day after the school shooting, where he shot to death four people, he drove to his hometown and played soccer.

President Orders Israeli Spies Jailed, Israel Watched As Potential Foe

by  Gordon Duff,  Senior Editor

To American Jews, the sound of this has to be strange.   78% support Obama but only 5% of Jewish donations go to him and his supporters.

The big money, Koch Brothers, Wall Street and the AIPAC spies and their supporters go to the Republicans, lifelong enemies of the Jewish people, in fact, the source of the huge upsurge of antisemitism in America.

Here is a video funded by the ADL and AIPAC attacking President Obama.  Problem is, in most of the world and much of America, this “attack piece” is seen as a poorly done pro-Obama video.  We aren’t kidding, things have gone that far.

You have just seen their “intellectual discourse,” now take a look at attempt number two:

There is an honest way of looking at this.  Obama has international credibility, some at least.  Bush had none.  The new Middle East is now largely democratic and the repressive Likudist regime that has been so unpopular with Jews in Israel is now proving to both betray its American allies and its own people.

Here is a recent story from the Jerusalem Post.  Behind the “spin” is an old story, old as Rudolf Abel or Jonathan Pollard.  Why this story?

If it is a secret and it can harm America, Israel is seen as the buyer, the real enemy, not Iran, not Russia, not even China.  One idiot now has 13 years to think about actually phoning the Israeli embassy and asking if the spy he is dealing with is real.

WASHINGTON – Former US government scientist Stewart Nozette was once on the cutting edge of space exploration, but instead of resting on those laurels he will spend 13 years in prison for trying to sell some of his country’s most closely guarded secrets.

He once sketched on a napkin a concept for satellite technology that eventually helped confirm that there was water on the moon, but in 2009 Nozette sought to sell classified information to someone he thought was an Israeli intelligence officer but was an FBI agent in an undercover sting operation.

The Brothers Koch

Support for them, Netanyahu and his gang of thieves and liars, no question that this is how the entire world sees him, is not support for Israel.  If Netanyahu or Foxman and AIPAC are Israel, then Israel is a “dead duck.”

I was surprised when I received the video.  It is cheap, childish propaganda done by the Koch brothers, the same gang that has pushed gasoline to over $4 per gallon, who have robbed America blind, who buy and sell crooked GOP gangsters like, well, the cheap GOP gangsters they are.

Problem is, much of the world that misses the poor attempts at subtlety and sarcasm believe this shows Obama to be a great statesman and hero.

What does that mean?  The answer is simple, those who purport to be “pro zionist” Jews are, if anything, making a mockery of the liberal and progressive traditions of America’s Jewish population.  Americans by the millions see Jews as potential enemies, something unthought of before Bush and Netanyahu, the economic crash, the phony wars and 9/11.

Face it, tens of millions of Americans see Israel and Jews as responsible for the planning  of 9/11.  Though there is proof of Israeli involvement, that is undeniable, blaming Jews in America is beyond insane.

However, this is what is happening, at least in the “red states” where hating anyone different, be they the “Nigger President” or “Dirty Jews,” is considered socially acceptable.

What we might ask, is how this kind of thinking and this level of dialog became acceptable.  The answer is simple, Fox News.

Bloomberg and Murdoch

The problem, of course, is that Fox News, the organization now under assault around the world for wiretapping, blackmail and bribery, is extremely pro-Netanyahu and owned by Rupert Murdoch, an Israeli Likudist masquerading as an Australian.

Worse still is the gang of GOP candidates, the presidency, congress, dog catcher, each crazier than the last, all swearing, not support or allegiance to Israel but slavery to the extremist policies of the Netanyahu regime.

Because of this many Americans such as former Vice President Dick Cheney are unable to travel as they face war crimes tribunals, face arrest around the world.

They said they were helping Israel and, instead, got into bed with financial criminals, committed innumerable war crimes and partnered with Netanyahu in building what was seen as a world safe for “Zionism,” one filled with war, poverty, corruption and hate.

This is not what the Jewish people wanted, not in America, not in Israel.

Enjoy the “hate video” above.

Tell AIPAC and the ADL’s Abe Foxman and his friends, the Koch Brothers along with Mr. Adelman that, the next time they fund an attack on America, to shoot themselves in the foot with a smaller weapon.

To the NYPD Officers Reading My Emails

by David Swanson

On Thursday I was on a train to New York and received an email announcing a protest at the offices of New York’s two U.S. Senators over their cosponsorship of an AIPAC-driven bill that would move the United States closer to war on Iran.  I wrote back, saying, hey, I happen to be on my way to New York and will try to get there.

When I got there, there was a small gathering of protesters, divided into two groups, those choosing to comply with police requests to stand inside a free-speech-cage that they had set up, and those refusing.  I joined the latter.  Two days later, one of the protesters who had been making his point from within the metal barricades told me that a police officer had approached him with this question:

“So, are you bringing people up here by train?”

Assuming the most likely explanation for that question, let me say this to those of New York’s finest with nothing better to do than read my emails:

You are not going to find in my emails any planning of any violence or cruelty.  If you want to know what I’m planning, you can ask me.  I’ll be glad to tell you.  I plan to protest the bankers whom you guard while they defund your future and erode your rights, the war profiteers who now arm you while they destroy our economy and our environment and our government, and the elected misrepresentatives who tolerate your lawless law enforcement while doing the bidding of the bankers and the war profiteers.

Have you sworn an oath to defended the Constitution with or without the Fourth Amendment? Have you sworn the law enforcement oath of honor? It reads:

“On my honor, I will never betray

  my badge, my integrity, my

character or the public trust.  I

will always have the courage to

 hold myself and others

accountable for our actions.  I will

 always uphold the Constitution,

my community, and the agency I

Do you mean that?  Then who read my email? Why? Justified by what Constitution? Do you have the courage to hold yourself and/or others accountable for your actions?

What community are you upholding? Are you and I in the same community? It doesn’t feel like it.

Palestinians Denied Essentials to Life

by Stephen Lendman

Besides persecution, repression, and injustice, deprivation defines life in Occupied Palestine. Essentials fall way below minimum standards.

Shortages and crises affect water, sanitation, electricity, fuel, and vital healthcare when most needed.

On March 14, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) headlined, “Occupied Lives: Switching off hospitals,” saying:

Gaza’s hospitals, including al-Shifa (Gaza’s largest medical complex), “fac(e) severe difficulties in providing basis services….” As a result, the right to health and life are undermined. “Such problems have been a consistent feature of life in the Gaza Strip since the current closure was imposed in 2007.”

Unreliable supply and high cost got Gaza to stop importing Israeli industrial fuel. Gaza’s tunnel economy coped best it could. On February 14, Egypt curtailed supplies. As a result, a power crisis followed.

Without enough fuel, Gaza’s power plant can’t operate properly. Vital services can’t function. Drinking water, health and sanitation facilities are affected.

In mid-February, the Gaza Electricity Distribution Company shut down. Around two-thirds of Gaza was affected. Citing unprecedented challenges, the company said severe complications restricted daily electricity distribution to six hours daily, followed by 18 hour outages.

Gaza’s Health Ministry declared a state of emergency. Hospital generators lack enough fuel to operate properly. Patient lives and well-being are jeopardized. During days of Israeli bombing, doctors struggled to cope with treating wounded patients.

Health Ministry official Bassam Barhoum said:

“The patients most at risk are those in the intensive care unit, the babies in the nurseries, kidney dialysis patients and those in need of surgery. Thank God, no patients have died until now.”

“However, we face other types of losses due to the electricity crisis. In the past two weeks generators of 6 basic health clinics across the Gaza Strip broke. They are simply not built to operate for the amount of time we need them.”

“Generators are made for brief emergencies, of a few hours, only. Besides that, our generators and other machines are damaged and broken by the power being cut and returning constantly. Also, the fluctuation in power levels is harmful to our equipment. Now we lack the spare parts and oils to maintain the machines.”

Al-Shifa Hospital’s Deputy Director of the Intensive Care Unit, Kamal Abu Obada, deals daily with these problems. “For me as a doctor,” he said, “this is all very depressing. All the time I’m working to keep the patients alive and when the electricity is cut they are all at risk. If something happens to them, my efforts were all in vain.”

During emergency periods, surgeries are suspended except for emergencies. Air-conditioning or heating in winter are cut. Water purification and laundry services are limited. Hygiene and sanitation crises result.

According to Abu Obada:

“During the state of emergency everything stops. We are not able to send our patients for surgery, unless it is absolutely necessary. We have to suspend other forms of treatment as well as tests and diagnostics.”

“The moment the electricity is cut, we rush to the patients and provide them with oxygen manually using oxygen bags. But we face two problems in doing this. Firstly, we simply don’t have enough manpower to attend to all the patients during the cuts.”

“Also, it is difficult to control the quantity of oxygen manually, risking ruptures in the lungs when squeezing too much air out of the bag into the patient’s lungs. When the power comes back we have to reprogram all the machines again.”

“When there is a power cut, the heart and blood pressure monitors switch off. The internal sensors inside our machines are broken by the cuts which causes the alarms to go off unnecessarily and then for them to fail to kick in when something is wrong with the patient.”

“Some of our patients are awake and are aware of the power cuts when they occur. These patients can hear us in those moments and fear for their own lives and those of the other(s).”

Abu Obada, Bassam Barhoum, and others explain daily siege-caused problems. As a result, lives are lost. Needless suffering occurs. Israeli denial of essential to life constitutes crimes against humanity.

Palestinians Denied Water on their Own Land

Vandana Shiva calls water nature’s gift, essential to life, limited and exhaustible, vital to conserve, and a commons for everyone off-limits to commodify.

Not according to corporate profiteers and Israel. Commissioned by OCHA (Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs) a new UN report headlined, “Seizure of springs by settlers greatly limits Palestinian access to water,” saying:

Settlers lawlessly seized dozens of springs in Israeli-controlled Area C. It comprises over 60% of the West Bank. Palestinians are denied access to their own water. Intimidation and threats confront them if they try.

An Israeli Civil Administration spokesman dismissively said Palestinians should lodge complaints if they’re denied access or violently treated. Previous attempts fell on deaf ears.

The UN report said most springs are on private Palestinian land. Israel and settlers work together stealing them. It’s done several ways, including designating sites tourist areas, erecting physical barriers, and annexing areas lawlessly.

Palestinians can’t access their own land for agriculture, drinking water, or other domestic consumption. According to the Matah Binyamin Regional Council for 42 settlements:

“For some years now the council is active in developing, restoring and preserving natural and heritage sites. As part of this process several murky springs were transformed into accessible sites for the public.”

“In some cases, an irrigation system was built for livestock. The springs are now active tourist sites serving both Palestinians and Jews … after dozens of years of neglect.”

Israel’s Civil Administration said:

“Any building activity in Area C, including the restoration of sites, including springs, necessitates building permits. In contradiction to the report, we have recently conducted enforcement activities against such illegal construction at springs near Elon Moreh and Har Brakha.”

“Everyone has the right to approach springs in public areas. If access to any individual is being denied by any person, that individual should submit a complaint to the police.”

Palestinians trying it attest to its futility. Settlers get carte blanche to do what they please, including stealing what’s essential to life. Palestinians in one community said soldiers prevent them from entering areas, except for a few days a year to harvest olives.

OCHA called spring seizures an extension of settlement activity and expansions. They include “trespass, intimidation and physical assault, stealing of private property, and construction without a building permit.” It’s encouraged for Jews. Palestinians are denied on their own land.

“Yet, the Israel authorities have systematically failed to enforce the law on those responsible for these acts and to provide Palestinians with any effective remedy.”

OCHA called on Israel to “restore Palestinian access to the water springs taken over by settlers.” It also urged “effective investigations into cases of settler violence and trespass.”

Much more than urging’s needed. Measures with teeth are essential. In 45 years of occupation, Israel defied international law, ignored dozens of UN resolutions, and did whatever it wished with impunity. Nothing in OCHA’s report changes things. Palestinians remain on their own to cope.

A Final Comment

Palestinians are abused many other ways. On March 22, Russia Today updated a week earlier report headlined, “Israel targets Palestinian solar panels in bid for West Bank dominance,” saying:

If Israel proceeds with current demolition orders, hundreds of Palestinians will lose electricity. Many call it “an attempt to drive (them) out of the Israeli-controlled part of the territory” to facilitate stealing it.

According to Imenizil village head Ali Mohamed Ihrizat:

“We are suspended between heaven and earth. The solar panels were a glimmer of hope for us.”

International charities provided them. Israel says they were built without permits. No matter. They’re on private Palestinian land. In Israeli controlled Area C, Jews freely expand existing settlements and construct new ones.

In contrast, Palestinians face intolerable hurdles to build on their own land. Over 90% of permit requests are denied. In the past decade alone, around 2,000 Palestinian structures were demolished, including private residences.

Meanwhile, Israel provides settlements with water, electricity, and other essential services. Palestinians must rely on wells, generators, and other ways to cope. According to Peace Now:

“The denial of permits for Palestinians on such a large scale raises the fear that there is a specific policy by the authorities to encourage a ‘silent transfer’ of the Palestinian population from Area C” to assure Jews get all valued parts.

Solar panels were donated to make up for what Israel denies. NGOs built dozens for 1,500 or more Palestinians. Each one costs tens of thousands of dollars.

An unnamed UN source said:

“From December 2010 to April 2011, we saw a systematic targeting of the water infrastructure in Hebron, Bethlehem and the Jordan valley.”

“Now, in the last couple of months, they are targeting electricity. Two villages in the area have had their electrical poles demolished. There is this systematic effort by the civil administration targeting all Palestinian infrastructure in Hebron.”

Despite a Rabbis for Human Rights legal challenge temporarily freezing demolition orders, nothing’s planned to cancel them. Israeli NGO head Noam Dotan involved in installing panels calls Israel’s plan immoral and self-defeating.

“The panels are not a security threat,” he said. They represent “a positive project. What do they want? Do they want the people to be more poor? To be more violent?”

Indeed, to call them terrorists and drive as many off their land as possible. That’s how police states operate. As a result, millions of Palestinians suffer unjustly.

Only Jews have rights. Palestinians struggle for justice on their own, even to obtain essentials to life and survive.

“Liberal Zionism”: A Contradiction in Terms

Peter Beinart’s New York Times op-ed, “To Save Israel, Boycott the Settlements,” is an example of the increased volume voices described as ‘Liberal Zionists’ have garnered in the discourse on Israel/Palestine. But liberal Zionism is a contradiction in terms.

Beinart calls for the “uncomfortable” Liberal Zionists, “To Save Israel, Boycott the Settlements”

by Yousef Munayyer

Peter’s piece expemplifies the “Liberal Zionist” narrative; “Liberal Zionists” cling to three central illusions to avoid confronting the reality that they are walking contradictions.

First, “Liberal Zionists” construct an artificial dichotomy between the state and the settlements; they pretend that the Israeli State and its settlements are somehow separate or separable. Beinart typifies this when he suggests renaming the West Bank ‘undemocratic Israel’ to distinguish from 1948 Israel. In reality, one cannot, in any serious way, separate Israel from its settlement enterprise.

The settlements were developed, continue to exist and grow precisely because of Israeli state policies. These policies are formulated by the government of Israel (all of it, not just the settlements). The settlement enterprise is not directed from the hilltops of the West Bank which it dominates, but rather from the central corridors of Israeli power which allocates resources to them, builds settlement infrastructure (and destroys Palestinian infrastructure) in and around them, supports the usurpation of Palestinian land and natural resources for them, and deploys Israeli military for support in this effort. This is why there is a strategic imperative for BDS (Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions campaign) to target the state, not just the settlements.

Further, as part of this self-inflicted deception, “Liberal Zionists” often attempt to mitigate the problem presented by settlers and settlements by dishonestly diminishing their numbers. Beinart excludes the residents of occupied Jerusalem (which the Israeli government has annexed), and cites 300,000 settlers in the West Bank. But as even the Israeli Prime Minister told Congress, 650,000 Israelis live beyond the green line.

Second, “Liberal Zionists” talk about an always-approaching-yet-non-existent deadline for two states. Beinart writes that Israel is “erasing” the green line; he worries what will happen “if Israel makes the occupation permanent…” and says that “we are closer to that day” than many may admit. But that day never seems to come for “Liberal Zionists,” it is always somewhere off in the undefined distance, although, we are told, it is approaching.

But by never defining a deadline, by never demarcating a point of no return, that day never has to come and “Liberal Zionists” never have to confront the contradiction inherent in their views. Rather, by failing to draw a line (which in reality we have probably long passed) and by failing to make a serious effort against the Israeli state for its colonialist policies, what “Liberal Zionists” are effectively saying is that there is no Palestinian minimum (or Zionist maximum) they would not accept – there is nothing “liberal” about that!

1948: LEST WE FORGET – How did Palestine come to this?

The third and perhaps the biggest problem with the “Liberal Zionist” narrative is that they erase the Nakba from the history of Israel/Palestine. The Nakba (the depopulation of Palestine of the majority of its native inhabitants) continues to be at the foundation of the Israeli/Palestinian dynamic. Zionism necessitates a Jewish majority, which it achieved in 1948 through a series of events (including mass expulsion and the flight of civilians from hostilities), and perpetuated by systematically denying the human right of Palestinian refugees to return. It should come as no surprise that even while “Liberal Zionists” are willing to condemn many of the human rights abuses inherent in the occupation of the West Bank and Gaza, the rights of refugees go ignored.

Any sympathies “Liberal Zionists” have for Palestinian rights generally stops at the green line. This is moral and intellectual cowardice. With the Palestinian question and Palestinian rights answered within the confines of green line, “Liberal Zionists” put off confronting the fundamental challenge that liberalism presents to Zionism.

You see, liberalism and Zionism are by nature incompatible and those calling themselves “Liberal Zionists” misunderstand one or both of the concepts.  Liberalism is by nature an inclusivist ideology; Zionism, by contrast is an exclusivist ideology. While liberalism is associated with equal rights regardless to ethnicity or creed, human rights, and free elections, Zionism requires maintaining a Jewish majority over territory even at the expense of the non-Jewish native inhabitants of the land.

For many Americans who have Zionist and liberal inclinations, confronting this reality is both difficult and necessary. Yet “Liberal Zionists” choose instead to create and focus on illusions to avoid making the decisions, imposed on them by Zionism’s colonialist reality, that make them cringe.

The use of myths to obfuscate the inconvenient truths of Zionism’s illiberal agenda is not new. Early leaders of the Israeli left advanced the notion of a “land without a people”: David Ben Gurion, for example, described pre-colonization Palestine as “in a virtual state of anarchy… primitive, neglected, and derelict,” willfully ignoring the land’s native Palestinians.

The fact that Beinart’s call for a boycott of Israeli settlement products is on the Op-Ed pages of The New York Times is indicative of a changing discourse—and this is a good thing. Nonetheless, the discourse clearly has a long way to go. “Liberal Zionists” may find safety and comfort in putting off confronting the irreconcilability of liberalism and Zionism for another generation, but they aren’t doing the Palestinians or themselves any favors.

Rather, what is needed today before tomorrow is for that confrontation to take place; one is either a liberal or a Zionist. Being too afraid to choose can longer be an option.

Hana Shalabi – Freedom or Death

Free Hana Shalabi

 Stephen Lendman

On March 22, Hana Shalabi’s 36th hunger strike day began. After examining her, Physicians for Human Rights-Israel (PHR-I) said she’s in imminent danger of death.

Israel wants her to die. She requires immediate hospitalization. At PHR-I’s request, she was sent to Meir Hospital on March 19 but not admitted. The same night, she was transferred back to Ramleh Prison Hospital. Healthcare there and in all Israeli prison facilities is an oxymoron. There’s none worthy of the name.

Her doctor wasn’t told she’s back in prison until the next day. He and others deplore the appalling care she’ll get in terms of quality, efficacy, and timeliness. Israel condemned Hana to death unless effective intervention prevents it.

A joint PHR-I, Addameer, Al Haq statement quoted Hana saying:

“To all the free and loyal Palestinian people, I direct my words to you—while I and all my brothers and sisters in the occupier’s prisons are on hunger strike, we call on you to continue your solidarity and for the issue of prisoners to be on the highest priority list….I call on foreign states to continue action in applying pressure (on Israel) towards the release of all our courageous prisoners.”

The joint statement “expressed grave concern” for her health. Without proper care, she risks imminent death because of significant physical deterioration.

PHR-I’s chairman asked the Israel Prison Service (IPS) chief medical officer, Dini Orkin, why Hana’s hospitalization was denied. She responded saying the IPS commissioner wants another medical opinion, despite the urgency given her health.

Especially troubling is what Hana told her doctor. During March 19 transfers, she was grossly mistreated, including being “dragged across the floor.” Doing so aggravated her weak condition.

Hana’s also being pressured to begin eating. Force-feeding is threatened despite clear medical ethics issues and international treaties prohibiting the practice. Attempts have also been made “to undermine her confidence and trust in her PHR-I doctor.”

She’s been lied to, including spurious claims that he doesn’t care about her. In fact, he’s her best hope to survive.

At the same time, a military court of appeals judge again postponed ruling on her case. No announced date was given.

“The judge requested a detailed medical report on Ms. Shalabi’s health condition, which has been prepared by the PHR-Israel doctor and submitted to the court.”

Addameer lawyer Mahmoud Hassan said:

“(T)he Israeli military prosecution’s concern is to get Hana to end her hunger strike as opposed to seriously considering the reasons underlying Hana’s protest, including the infringement on her right to fair trial and right to an effective defense.”

Like thousands of other wrongfully imprisoned Palestinians, Hana’s denied all rights, including due process and judicial fairness. They’re also subjected to torture, inhuman, and degrading treatment. It’s official Israeli policy. Fundamental international law is routinely spurned.

In Hana’s case, she denied her right to live. She wants freedom or death. Her lawyer, Jawad Boulos, quoted her saying:

“It’s true our lives are very precious, but our freedom is even more precious and more powerful than their cells.”

PHR-I member Yael Maron said:

“The story of Hana Shalabi, like that of Khader Adnan before, is, in my opinion, a remarkable example of a struggle that’s completely nonviolent towards one’s surroundings. It is the last protest a prisoner can make, and I find it brave and inspiring.”

Except for UN Special Rapporteur for Palestine Richard Falk, UN officials ignore her. In response, Union of Palestinian Women’s Committees chairwoman Khitam Saafin said:

“The UN must be responsible for the whole of violations that are going on against our people. These prisoners are war prisoners, not security prisoners, not criminals. They are freedom fighters for their rights.”

Falk said her courage “should move even the hard-hearted.” She’s “young, tender,” nonviolent, and dedicated to what deserves universal praise, not lawless imprisonment and brutality.

Hunger striking reflects her struggle against injustice. It’s not about her alone. It’s for thousands of other wrongfully incarcerated and mistreated Palestinian prisoners. Israel persecutes them mercilessly.

Hana’s resisting her only way. Doing so shows extraordinary courage. She’s willing to die for justice. What greater sacrifice than that!

Despite appalling mistreatment, her spirit’s indomitable. She inspires others to resist injustice their way and support her and others like her.

Hana explained it best, saying:

“This is for all the prisoners and not for me alone.”

It’s also about wanting global attention paid to intolerable abuses vital to condemn and end. Hana’s willing to die so others can live free.

What greater sacrifice than that! Her struggle is ours. We’re all Hana Shalabi!

Zimmerman does NOT represent all Jews!

By Kevin Barrett

In the wake of the horrific murder of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin by Jewish terrorist George Zimmerman, it is critically important that we all recognize that not every Jew is a cold-blooded murderous terrorist like Zimmerman.

We cannot repeat too often that Judaism is a religion of peace. Yes, there are a small number of Jewish extremists out there who support child-murdering terrorist organizations like the State of Israel; who shoot innocent black kids down in cold blood; who call for the murder of the President of the United States; and so on and so forth.

But most Jews are law-abiding citizens, not terrorists – even though parts of their Talmud do exhibit a vastly greater reverence for Jewish life than for non-Jewish life – and we must always remember that, and say it over and over so that everyone knows that we have to say it over and over because if we didn’t, who knows? maybe the public would start associating the word “Jew” with the word “terrorist” and we wouldn’t want that, would we?

Let’s see how awful that sounds: “Jew…terrorist. Jew….terrorist.” Repeat that a hundred times. Finished? Great! Now you know that hearing and speaking the word “Jew” next to the word “terrorist” over and over, and being inundated by mainstream news stories that focus on the Jewishness of every perpetrator of violence who happens to be Jewish, doesn’t necessarily influence the public to take a negative view of Jewishness, does it?

But even though most Jews are NOT terrorists – despite the actions of that small, radical minority – we do have to face up to the terrorism problem. It is a fact that Jews commit more than their share of terrorism – according to FBI statistics, more terrorist acts are committed by extremist Jews than by extremist Muslims, and Jews commit terrorism at a rate more than three times that of the general populationPeople who regularly visit terrorist propaganda websites that encourage or excuse the actions of the world’s worst terrorist groups, the IDF and the Zionist-co-opted US military – websites like Fox News and the Jerusalem Postand even the New York Times and The Washington Post – need to be pre-emptively incarcerated. And the New York Police Department obviously needs to continue its massive program of spying on that city’s extremely dangerous, mobbed-up Jewish community, in hopes of capturing or killing 9/11 terrorist poster-boy Osama Bin Silverstein.

Meanwhile, over in France, it’s funny how nobody has even noticed the fact that the lone-nut gunman over there was a Muslim. Why won’t the media report that? The answer is obvious: Muslims control the media, and they make sure that every time a Jew commits an atrocity we know it was a Jew…but when someone from a Muslim background does it, nobody is allowed to know what his background is. What a horrible, Judeophobic double-standard.

Anyway, please repeat after me: Judaism is a religion of peace, despite everything we see and hear every day in the newspapers and on TV. Not all Jews are terrorists, even though it seems that way because of the way the media focuses on the Jewishness of every Jewish malefactor. In our 100-year-war against Jewish terrorism, we must not condemn the entire Jewish community for the actions of the small minority of IDF-supporting extremists.

There. Our liberal, bigotry-free credentials have been established.

Maybe Abe Foxman will give us an award.

* * *

Editor’s note:

This just in: It turns out that Zimmerman isn’t Jewish, he’s Catholic.

But since the corporate media keeps referring to the alleged 9/11 hijackers as “Muslims,” even though those operating under the 19 stolen identities prior to 9/11 were obviously not Muslims, we might as well follow their example and continue to deceive the public.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Reported properly, as Roy Tov advocates, disclosure can, or at least should, neutralize or diminish the ploys or their impact but, reported excessively, recklessly, with slight twists and spins on the truth, or without evidence to back up the charges, it can also discredit entire movements against just such things…as the often  apparent assault on the credibility and importance of the truths behind 9-11.

The Great Game 2012

Is the poker game between USA, Iran and Israel nearing its end?

by Roy Tov

[Important Note: Before attacking me for this article, please consider that disclosing such ploys, neutralizes them.]

I wish I could say something smart about poker; that would be the perfect opening for an article on the ongoing poker game between the USA, Iran and Israel. Sadly, I don’t play the game. Yet, reliable sources told me that the most important thing while playing poker is not to blink. If you blink, the opponents may use the short visual break to trick you. It appears that this is all one needs to know about the game since on March 20, 2012, President Obama blinked and disclosed America’s strategy to defuse the stand-off in this political poker game.

On March 19, I published Armageddon’s Alliance just a few hours after Netanyahu’s speech to Christians United for Israel (CUFI) in Jerusalem.Analyzing Netanyahu’s words, CUFI’s reactions and a public speech—on the verge of being defined as a formal message from the Israeli establishment to American Jews—by leading Hebrew writer A. B. Yehoshua, it was easy to conclude that Israel is preparing an indirect attack on Iran. As a matter of fact this is the main political discourse in Tel Aviv for many months now. Yet, Israel has already acknowledged that it can’t strike effectively through conventional methods (see Israeli Defense Ministry Acknowledges Defeatand Astonishing Israeli Attack on Iran).

The Graet Game 2012

It seems that in order to attack Iran indirectly, Israel would try to use the heretic support of CUFI to force the American government to attack Iran, in what I have called in the past the Wag the Dog strategy. Yehoshua’s speech main surprise was a call to American Jews to emigrate to Israel; according to him this is so urgent that if possible, they should do that as of yesterday, leaving homes and jobs behind.

Due to the sensitive nature of that article’s content, a few things were just implied. Not only is that the favored way of a Hebrew speaker, it also saves me unpleasant encounters with the ADL and their nasty lawyers. Yet, the text was clear enough. One of my faithful readers in New England contacted me immediately, and in what I could judge only as an alarmed tone, asked me if Israel was to detonate a tactical nuclear device in the USA and blame Iran on that. In other words, I was asked if Israel was planning a false flag attack in the style of the 9/11 events, forcing the USA to attack Iran. Unfortunately, I failed to get an answer to that real concern from the Israeli Ministry of Defense.

Is that Possible?

Poker Game | Don’t Blink!

Could such a feat be achieved? The existence of tactical nuclear devices, capable of creating tiny nuclear explosions with very little—or none—long—lasting radioactive debris is almost formally admitted. The question I got—from a knowledgeable person—was almost a formal admission of that. Apparently, these devices can be made to fit an unsuspicious suitcase. Could Israel smuggle one into the US? The way to achieve that would be dismantling the device in as many parts as possible, while properly encapsulating the radiating ones, and then smuggling it using as many ports of entry as possible. Israel has three easy options for that. A certain group of Israeli citizens—who dress up in a peculiar way—has been many times reported in the Hebrew media as involved in the smuggling of diamonds and illegal goods by sewing them in their odd clothes.

For various reasons, customs don’t touch them. Another channel is El Al, Israel’s airline. On October 4, 1992, El Al Flight 1862, a Boeing 747 cargo plane crashed into the Groeneveen and Klein-Kruitberg flats in the Bijlmermeer neighborhood of Amsterdam. Many people died and were injured. The cargo included over 280 kilograms of depleted uranium—used for certain types of missiles—and 190 litres of dimethyl methylphosphonate, which could be used in the synthesis of Sarin nerve gas. The owner of the last was Israel Institute for Biological Research. Most important of all, is the Zim option; I commented in The Cross of Bethlehem how this shipping company is used to transfer products from Dow Chemical to Dimona’s nuclear reactor. Overall, it seems Israel is capable of transferring whatever it wants into the USA.

The Great Game 2012

After Israel achieves that, what would its target be? It must be a place where Israel will find it easy to coordinate the event and where Israel will be perceived as a tragic victim of the event in the aftermath. Most readers have probably guessed like I did: New York. Keeping this in mind while reading Armageddon’s Alliancecreates a scary picture, especially due to Yehoshua’s speech. “Leave America!,” he kept saying to American Jews. “Otherwise, you’ll be sacrificed as European Jewry was,” was the implied subtext.

Thus, on the theoretical level, this is a possible Israeli gambit. Would Netanyahu add to his title of bioterrorist the one of nuclear-terrorist? The American Administration has reasons to be worried.

The Poker Game

Hebrew mainstream media is quite boring last months: “War, War, War” read the headlines; “Iran, Iran, Iran” read their subtitles. I commented on that several times (for example in Israel Bluffs Iran). Israel’s poker ploy is clear: “Hold me back!” is Netanyahu saying to the world, hoping to force the USA to attack (see Netanyahu Wags the Dog).

Iran’s attitude is more developed. Its forces are arranged in a defensive fashion (this is admitted even by the CIA), but at the same time is providing help to Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza. Some time ago, I claimed that Bedouins may declare an independent state in the Sinai Peninsula and parts of the Negev Desert (see Explosion in Sinai). Confirming this possibility, Israeli media reported on March 19, 2012, that Iranian military experts are also training the Bedouins in Sinai. Iran’s poker ploy is sending a clear message that Israel could be hit even after a nuclear attack on the Iranian mainland.

America’s maneuvers were pretty clear until now. They were centered on complete support to Israel (see Netanyahu-Obama Talks Aftermath: Alert in Tel Aviv). Yet, it seems the USA is truly worried about the false flag operation described above. So worried, that on March 20, President Obama blinked.

On Tuesday, Obama made a video appeal to the Iranian people on the occasion of Nowruz—the Persian New Year—saying that there was “no reason for the United States and Iran to be divided from one another.” This is a sharp deviation from the belligerent Israeli-American discourse in recent months. Reliable sources claim these words left Netanyahu speechless and blinking uncontrollably.

Netanyahu is now afraid that the USA will sign a deal with Iran. After all, these two could live together in peace. Yet, Israel depends on war for its survival; this is so because war is Israel’s main source of incomes, but also because it is a way of controlling its population by distracting it from the deep social problems this country faces. Netanyahu needs a war with Iran. The only way Netanyahu could prevent a deal between the USA and Iran is by attacking Iran before an agreement is signed, or by performing a false flag attack on American soil. Obama bluffed Netanyahu, who is now looking down into hell, right below the bluff he is precariously standing on. No good options were left for him.

After WWII, the new nuclear weapons of the USA and the USSR lead them into a Cold War. Nowadays we are watching a new Cold War, this time between nuclear USA and a nuclear country that likes to portray itself as its ally: Israel.

‘Bovver-boy’ Hague Loves Putting The Boot Into Iran

but when will he give Israel the kicking it deserves?

by Stuart Littlewood

UK Foreign Secretary William Hague has worked himself into a lather over Iran’s blocking of a Foreign Office website. He says: “I condemn this action by the Iranian Government.  ‘UK for Iranians’ was launched to reach out to Iranians, explaining, discussing and engaging with them on UK policy.

“We have no quarrel with the Iranian people… At the launch of our website, I celebrated the links between the UK and Iran, and the richness of Iran’s culture…  It is not just Iranians who are the poorer for their government’s censorship, but the rest of the world.  We will continue to look for opportunities to engage with the Iranian people, confident that Iranians are outward looking and deserve the same freedoms that others enjoy around the world.”

What a hoot! For months Mr Hague worked overtime to force the people of Iran into misery, poverty and isolation by imposing a battery of “unprecedented” sanctions. He then campaigned to have these measures intensified, and to hell with the consequences – for them and for us.

Hague, with his pro-Israel affiliations, is simply not the right person to engage with the Iranians or anyone else in the Middle East.

‘UK for Iranians’ looks like a clone of America’s “virtual embassy”, which is also beamed at the Iranians. It too was blocked back in December. The British website says things like: “The UK would welcome improved relations with Iran. We have shared interests in a wide range of issues, including a stable Afghanistan… However, the UK and many other countries have serious concerns about the Iranian Government’s policies: its failure to address serious international concerns about its nuclear programme; its support for terrorism and promotion of instability in its region; and its continued denial of the human rights to which its own people aspire and which Iran has made international commitments to protect…”

I suspect the only people in the UK who have concerns about Iran’s policies are the Israel luvvies and Washington lapdogs that infest our parliament.

On the touchy subject of diplomatic relations the website has this to say: “Since an attack by government-sponsored militias on the British Embassy in Tehran on 29 November 2011, the British Embassy in Tehran and the Iranian Embassy in London have both been closed.  This does not amount to the severing of diplomatic relations in their entirety.  It is action that reduces our relations with Iran to the lowest level consistent with the maintenance of diplomatic relations…”

It was Hague’s decision to shut down the British embassy in Tehran and eject the Iranians from London. He had not in any case maintained a full diplomatic presence in Tehran and the embassy operated at chargé d’affaires level for several months after the previous ambassador left. Perhaps they couldn’t find a new ambassador who was willing to jump through Hague’s foreign policy hoops. So now we do business with Iran through a third-party country, Germany.

So much for the desire to improve relations, reach out, engage, share interests, talk over “serious concerns”, and so forth.

Aiming a final kick our diplomatic service says: “The international community has lost confidence that Iran’s nuclear activities are for exclusively peaceful purposes…  We are clear that we have no quarrel with the Iranian people.  The responsibility for any impact on the population lies with the Iranian Government and their failure to meet the requirements of the IAEA Board of Governors and to comply with mandatory UN Security Council Resolutions.  The Iranian Government can choose to act to bring sanctions to an end at any point.”

In other words, we turn the screws but the screams are not our fault – just like it wasn’t our fault when we did the same in Iraq for 12 long years, starving their kids, before delivering shock’n’awe and wholesale destruction.

Hague said in his Middle East Statement, 9 November 2011: “Iran’s actions not only run counter to the positive change that we are seeing elsewhere in the region; they may threaten to undermine it, bringing about a nuclear arms race in the Middle East or the risk of conflict”.

Yet according to the US intelligence community Iran hasn’t got an active nuclear weapons programme and Israeli intelligence agrees. Only a few weeks ago the Director of the National Intelligence Agency, James Clapper, reported: “We assess Iran is keeping open the option to develop nuclear weapons… We do not know, however, if Iran will eventually decide to build nuclear weapons…”

“Israel’s nuclear arsenal stands like the radioactive elephant in the room,” blogger and journalist Khaled Diab told the BBC

Why is Hague so focused on Iran when Iran’s close neighbour Israel is the one with a runaway, unsafeguarded nuclear weapons programme?

UN Security Council resolution 487, in 1981, called on Israel “urgently to place its nuclear facilities under IAEA safeguards”. Israel has ignored it for 30 years. Hasn’t it occurred to Hague that Israel’s huge arsenal of weapons of mass destruction – nuclear, chemical and biological – and it’s refusal to end the illegal occupation of Palestine – are what’s really undermining positive change?

Furthermore, as the BBC reported Q&A: Iran nuclear issue, back in 2009 the IAEA called on Israel to join the Non-Proliferation Treaty, open its nuclear facilities to inspection and place them under comprehensive IAEA safeguards. “Israel refuses to join the NPT or allow inspections. It is reckoned to have up to 400 warheads but refuses to confirm or deny this.”

It is the only state in the region that is not a party to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (Iran is). It has signed but not ratified the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty. As regards biological and chemical weapons, Israel has not signed the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention. It has signed but not ratified the Chemical Weapons Convention.

So Hague is kicking the wrong target. He needs to propel the toe of his bovver boot into the US-subsidized backside of the Zionist entity. That’s where unprecedented sanctions are need.

They are conspicuously absent when they would be so easy to apply.

And I’m still waiting for answers to simple questions I put to Mr Hague through my MP, who is one of his faithful lieutenants in the Foreign Office. They include…

  • What concrete proof is there of Iran’s military application of nuclear technology?
  •  Why isn’t Hague more concerned about Israel’s nuclear arsenal, the threat it poses to the region and beyond, and the mental state of the Israeli regime?
  •  How many times has a British foreign secretary visited Tehran in the 32 years since the Islamic Revolution?
  • Did Mr Hague make any effort to go and talk before embarking on punitive sanctions?
  • By pulling our people out of Tehran and throwing Iran’s people out of London Mr Hague has shut the door on diplomacy. How can he now communicate effectively with a people he pretends to “have no quarrel with” but seems determined to goad into becoming an implacable enemy?

And in an exchange of words the other day about the British Government’s obscenely greedy tax on motor fuel – it levies a 130% surcharge (in duty and value-added tax) on the ex-refinery price – the MP in question tried to persuade me that by December the measures his administration had taken would save motorists £144 filling up the average family car.

It’s a claim that will astonish British motorists who have watched with alarm as prices at the pump rocket and are likely to go higher, ditto energy prices as a whole. The Government’s policy of making bitter enemies where we need to have friends and forcing up the price of crude, is hurting us as well as the Iranians and is already causing catastrophic damage to British industry and hardship for families and pensioners.

I told the MP I hoped he wasn’t going to lecture us again on how the only way to defend our national security was to declare economic war on Iran and its people and threaten ultimately to vaporise their women and children and reduce their homeland to rubble. Nearly everyone by now knows it’s poppycock. Mr Hague, I said, “seems to have a thirst for aggravation, has assumed the role of Europe’s bovver-boy and right now is probably this country’s biggest liability”.

“Al Qaeda” Killer’s Extensive Links To French Authorities

“Al Qaeda” Killer’s Extensive Links To French Authorities

Taken Off The Internet Yesterday

The man accused of killing seven people during recent gun attacks in Toulouse has been killed, following a 32 hour standoff with police – as more information has come to light about his extensive links to the French authorities.

Mohammed Merah, a self-proclaimed Al Qaeda operative, was reportedly found dead on the ground after being shot in the head and falling from his apartment window, following a five minute gun battle when police stormed the building.

Whilst French authorities claimed to want to end the standoff peacefully and take Merah alive, the siege’s fatal finale conveniently removes from the picture a suspect who appears to have had a great deal of contact with both the French intelligence services and the police – and even with the US military.

Claude Guéant

French interior minister Claude Guéant yesterdayrevealed that Merah had been on the radar of the DCRI – France’s domestic intelligence agency – “for years”.

It has since transpired that Merah was questioned by the intelligence service as recently as November 2011, after being summoned to explain trips he had made to Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Astonishingly, Merah was reportedly granted freedom to leave by his French intelligence questioners after providing them with photographs supporting his claims of having merely been on an innocent tourist holiday.

That Merah’s explanation satisfied the intelligence service is inexplicable, considering their familiarity with his track record of suspicious activity.

Merah had reportedly made two trips to the Afghanistan-Pakistan region, and whilst his attorney Christian Etelin has denied such rumours, some have claimed he even spent time in a Kandahar jail before escaping during a Taliban breakout.

Whilst Merah’s reported time in an Afghan jail has yet to be established, other sources, including top French prosecutor Francois Mollins, have stated that he was arrested by Afghan police at a checkpoint and handed over to the US military, before being flown back to France.

US military officials have claimed not to have any information regarding Merah’s alleged detention in Afghanistan.

Today saw further revelations come to light about the French authorities’ knowledge of Merah’s violent tendencies.

A report in French newspaper Le Télégramme details how the mother of a 15 year old boy claims she twice filed complaints with the police, after Merah showed her son violent Jihadist videos and extremist literature at his Toulouse apartment. The woman, identified by the pseudonym Aisha, said that:

“I am appalled. It took all these people [to be] killed for Mohammed Merah [to be] finally stopped,” she said. “The police knew all about the danger of this individual and his radicalism”.

Le Télégramme also reports how Merah allegedly went into the street outside the woman’s house wearing military fatigues, brandishing a sword, and shouting “I’m with Al-Qaida”.

French Army Mourns it’s Dead

Mohammed Merah’s older brother Abdelkader was apparently also well known to the authorities. He was arrested on suspicion of belonging to the Knights of Pride – an extremist group against the banning of the burka in France.

It was from Adbelkader’s computer that an unsecured email was allegedly sent to one of Mohammed’s victims, arranging to view a motorbike – an appointment at which the paratrooper was murdered. Merah was tracked down after the IP address and location were traced from the email.

The French authorities’ excuses for their inability to prevent Merah’s killings are highly questionable.

As Merah very much fits the profile of a classic intelligence asset – young, disaffected, and with a history of petty criminality – serious questions should be asked about whether he really just “slipped through the net”, or if in reality the intelligence services deliberately failed to prevent the attack, or even actively provocateured it.

In this regard it is interesting to note that Nikolas Sarkozy, previously trailing in the polls in a French election year, is now the favourite to win the first round of the presidential election next month.

Sarkozy has promised a shocked French nation that he will crack down on Islamic extremism should he be re-elected, as well as stating that he will introduce stricter monitoring of the internet, and make it a crime to visit unspecified “hate” websites.
