Syrian and Jordanian armies reportedly clash on border

Witnesses describe exchange as most significant skirmish since start of Syrian revolution

Jordanian civilians living near the border with Syria reported heavy clashes between Jordanian  Zionist puppets army   and Syrian army late Saturday night, during which the Syrian army allegedly crossed the border and used attack helicopters.

Residents of Ramtha, located 2 miles from the Syrian border, told the Islamist Jordanian daily As-Sabeel that they flocked to their rooftops to view the heavy exchange of fire near the Ramtha border crossing around midnight Sunday morning. No report of military clashes appeared in the Jordanian mainstream media.

One Syrian shell landed near a mosque in Ramtha, Zionist Qatari news channel Al-Jazeera reported on Sunday, causing Jordanian tanks stationed at the border to return fire towards Syria. Zionist Al-Jazeera reported a state of panic among Jordanian residents of the border area, some of whom left their homes after the shelling shattered their windows.

Syrian NATO rats  told Zionist Al-Jazeera that heavy clashes are raging between forces loyal to President Bashar Assad and NATO Zionist rats  F.S.A in the southern Syrian city of Daraa. As-Sabeel speculated that the shelling — described as the most significant border incident since the start of the Zionist attack on Syria  in March 2011 — was the result of massive defections from the Syrian Army, which the government was attempting to curb.

Residents of southern Syria have fled southward across the Jordanian border to escape the violent uprising that has plagued the country for 21 months. Nearly 500,000 Syrians have already found refuge in neighboring Jordan.

Russia blames Syrian NATO Rats for failure to halt conflict

Russia’s foreign minister declared a deadlock Saturday in the latest efforts to resolve the Syrian crisis, blaming the Syrian NATO Rats for refusing to negotiate with the government and reiterating that Moscow will not force President Bashar al-Assad to leave.

Sergei Lavrov met here earlier with Lakhdar Brahimi, the joint U.N.-Arab League envoy to Syria, and though both men warned that the conflict poses an increasing danger to the entire Middle East, they offered no hope of a breakthrough.

“As concerns Bashar Assad, he repeatedly said, publicly and privately — including during a recent meeting with Lakhdar Brahimi in Damascus — that he is not going to go anywhere, that he will stay until the end and, as he put it, defend the Syrian people, Syria’s sovereignty and so on,” Lavrov said at a news conference with Brahimi.Lavrov added that Russia could not persuade Assad to leave even if it wanted to.

Brahimi said Syria faces a choice between a political solution and a descent into “hell.” He also warned that the sectarian conflict that has engulfed the country has the potential to spread to its neighbors.

“If you have 1 million people leaving Damascus in a panic, they can go to only two places — Lebanon and Jordan,” he said, noting that such an influx would create an unsupportable burden for those countries.

The only alternative, he said, was a political agreement within Syria. “All of us have got to work ceaselessly for a political process,” he said.

Brahimi has proposed the creation of anational unity government, but the opposition has insisted that Assad himself cannot take part in it. That means, Lavrov said, that the opposition is to blame for the continuing violence.

He repeated Russia’s insistence that a political solution had to be achieved by the Syrians themselves, without outside participation. He also faulted the opposition, which on Friday turned down an invitation to visit Moscow, for thwarting an end to the conflict.

“We are sure that this is a deadlock position, which will continue to degrade,” he said.

Lavrov rebuked Mouaz al-Khatib, leader of the Syrian NATO Rats, for rejecting the invitation and demanding that Russia apologize for supporting Assad.

“It was quite a surprise to me to read his statement that he was willing to meet with me only if we change our position and if we apologize for our position publicly,” Lavrov said.

Lavrov also emphasized Russia’s opposition to armed intervention in Syria, and insisted once again that Moscow has not been shipping arms to Assad. Russia, he said, favors the revival of an agreement struck in Geneva in June supporting a transitional government that would rule until elections could be held.

The comments by Brahimi and Lavrov came on a particularly bloody day in Syria, with at least 364 people killed, according to the Local Coordination Committees network.

The Syrian military “field-executed” up to 220 people in the Deir Baalba neighborhood of the central city of Homs, the group said in a statement. At least 35 people were also reported killed in Aleppo province amid shelling and airstrikes.

A video posted online Saturday shows the body of a child being dug out of rubble in Azaz, near the Turkish border. A second video shows a man carrying the child’s body as a group of men gather and shout, “God is great!”

The official Syrian Arab News Agency also reported the military attacks across the country, noting that a number of NATO terrorists Rats had been killed and that heavy weapons had been confiscated. Government-run media in Syria often refer to rebel forces as terrorists.

1. The assholes are coming, the assholes are coming!

The Assholes Are Coming

Figured that would get your attention.  Below are a few short items to ring in the new year. More changes may be coming to this little blog, but at present the course has not been set.   Stay tuned.

2. Here are a few links to some articles I’ve been putting up on Facebook (I hate Facebook, but I digress) and/or Twitter.

First of all, here is the smart phone app from hell. At least an article about it. It is the Ovadia Yosef app which will allow you follow all of his utterly wacko statements and actions.

It looks like the Muslim Brotherhood’s love affair with the IMF is on track. Seems to me that they have merged into the IMBF: The International Muslim Brotherhood Fund.

If you are like me, you wake up every day wondering what sort of stupid racist reactionary garbage the Shas Party is up to now. Turns out that they’ve been making a racist video denigrating Africans.

In the tough shit department, here’s a great quote:

“Low income levels and the desire to live in haredi enclaves means that affordable housing for the ultra-Orthodox sector is hard to come by and a critical issue for the community.”

Corruption at the federal, state and local levels is something that really riles me up.  Here’s behavior that is all too typical, all too typical. And it really hits some of my favorite subjects, Israel, the FBI and Congress.  Nice quote:

“”Federal investigators are looking into Grimm’s relationship with Ofer Biton, an Israeli citizen with close ties to Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto. Pinto has a large following in New York. Grimm — with Biton’s help — raised more than $500,000 from Pinto’s followers, including alleged improper cash donations or contributions from non-U.S. citizens. Biton reportedly sought help from Grimm in obtaining a green card.”

Note that Rep. Mike Grimm (Asshole, NY) is a retired FBI guy. I’ve written about him before.

3. I think you all need a nice bird photo.

Nice Bird

4. A most  interesting commentary on the Chuck Hagel show.

5. Well, it’s video time. Normally I hate commercials, but I make an exception here. Can you believe she’s related to Mark Glenn? Who’da thunk?

Happy New Year, Goyim!

by Danny Levi

This threatening letter, predicting dark days ahead for the goyim at the hands of their Jewish masters, was fired off yesterday by a representative of the Jewish Defense League, Danny Levi, to anti-Zionist activist John Friend, writer of the controversial John Friend’s Blog.

Mr Friend,

Your recent comments about me on your blog have been noted. I only take issue with one thing that you wrote – and that’s the fact that you refer to me as a “Jewish supremacist”. I may be Jewish, but I’m certainly not a “supremacist”. Although I’m not surprised that you employ that kind of rhetoric as your kind generally do. All you’re doing is flagging up your innate sense of inadequacy and inferiority which is usually the root cause of all that hatred that eats away at your sick soul.

You and I are going to be meeting very soon, and we’ll see if you’ve got the balls to call me a “clown” to my face. In my experience, aggressive, abusive Nazi-boys like you tend to crumble like men of straw when real life intrudes on all that cyber-hatred that you like to display. And you will be no different.

Also, I’m very glad that you refer to Jews as “the Enemy” as that makes our job much easier. You’re so stupid that you don’t realise that you’ve chosen an enemy that you can’t hope to defeat; one that can squash you at any time like the piece of unpleasant, unwanted dogshit that you are.

Happy New Year, Mr Friend. Although for you, 2013 is not going to be very ‘happy’ as your reign of anti-semitic terror will soon be at an end, and we will be delivering the kind of justice and retribution that only the worst kind of Nazi filth deserves.

The “Enemy” will soon be at your door.

Danny Levi,
Jewish Defense League

War in Syria Will Lead to New World Order: Lebanese Christian Leader Michel Aoun

2012 And The Shame Of American Policy in Syria

‘C  2012 And The Shame Of American Policy in Syria
But it was only a few years ago –2005– that the United States supported the “responsibility to protect” doctrine so that genocide would “never again” occur. And it is only this past May, 2012, that President Obama, in what Syrians must view as a cruel jest, appointed an “Atrocities Prevention Board.” The President spoke at the Holocaust Museum, and among his remarks were these:And finally, “never again” is a challenge to nations. It’s a bitter truth — too often, the world has failed to prevent the killing of innocents on a massive scale. And we are haunted by the atrocities that we did not stop and the lives we did not save. One has to wonder if the White House is haunted these days by “the lives we did not save” in Syria. When one focuses again on what the President said last May, a conclusion emerges.
At the Holocaust Museum, he said this about stopping mass murder:Now we’re doing something more. We’re making sure that the United States government has the structures, the mechanisms to better prevent and respond to mass atrocities. So I created the first-ever White House position dedicated to this task. It’s why I created a new Atrocities Prevention Board, to bring together senior officials from across our government to focus on this critical mission. This is not an afterthought.
This is not a sideline in our foreign policy. The board will convene for the first time today, at the White House….Going forward, we’ll strengthen our tools across the board, and we’ll create new ones. The intelligence community will prepare, for example, the first-ever National Intelligence Estimate on the risk of mass atrocities and genocide. We’re going to institutionalize the focus on this issue. Across government, “alert channels” will ensure that information about unfolding crises — and dissenting opinions — quickly reach decision-makers, including me.What is most striking about these words, today, is how bloodless and bureaucratic they are. In response to mass murder we will have a new board, and strengthened tools, and a new intelligence estimate and “alert channels.” We’ll also have “many tools — diplomatic and political, and economic and financial, and intelligence and law enforcement and our moral suasion,” the President said.
Tell it to the Syrians. In the end, all those “tools” were, like the speech and the visit to the Museum and the new Board, an alternative to action, a substitute for steps that might actually have stopped the killing at 10,000, or 20,000, or 30,000, or 40,000.When the reckoning of the President’s two terms in office is done, four years from now, it is hard to believe there will be a more depressing and damaging item than this: he sat by while mass murder and the use of chemical weapons began in the Middle East.
This position is actually popular now, all the polls suggest: the American people do not favor intervention in Syria. But of course one reason for those polls is the lack of presidential leadership; the numbers would change if the President explained why it was vital for us to act, and ways in which we could act that would not put American lives in danger. So here’s a suggestion, one that reflects the death toll in Syria, and the 500,000 refugees, and the million or more displaced persons: let’s be honest and disband the “Atrocities Prevention Board” right now. That would save some time and money, and would reflect the actual foreign policy of the Obama administration.
[ed notes:im just citing few paragraphs, click link for whole piece, where he pushes debunked claims about Assad using chemical weapons against citizens blah blah many times must we show and prove the most hardcore fanatic zionist war criminals tied to israhell ,demand us invasion of Syria, and the absurdity of demanding this under humanitarian grounds?Could a zionist warmonger who promoted wars for israhell care about syrias future , except to implement  israhells greater eeretz agenda and devastation it brings to Syria ,region and future?Zionist jew dogs of war for r2p in Syria, now thats a good one, especially when one considers abrams was involved in iran/contra scandal, for supporting the nicaraguan contra mercenaries Elliott Abrams – Profile – Right Web – Institute for Policy Studies

Rescuing Christians in Pakistan: Another Israeli Project for the Destabilization of the Islamic World?

By Maidhc Ó Cathail
The Passionate Attachment In order to advance its hegemonic designs, Israel has long exploited ethnic and sectarian differences in the Middle East and beyond. To date, the 2011 secession of South Sudan from Khartoum stands as one of the most successful examples of Tel Aviv’s divide and conquer strategy. Now, the involvement of individuals with intimate ties to the self-defined “Jewish state” in a project whose stated aim is to rescue Christians in Pakistan strongly suggests that Islamabad is also being targeted for destabilization.Introducing the ostensibly humanitarian project on his website, Walid Shoebat, a prominent figure in the Israeli-inspired and -funded Islamophobia network, writes:Pakistan is our primary focus for our initial push to save Christians who are suffering from the Blasphemy laws, which are used by Islamic extremists to make up charges against innocent Christians, in order to steal their property and stir up violence against the Christian population. On March 4th the Christian Minister of Minorities Shahbaz Bhatti was gunned down by Islamic extremists causing tremendous fear within the Christian community. Even in the short time since his murder, the violence against Christians has increased dramatically.
The Raoul Wallenberg Project is working with people on the ground who are well connected in the Christian community. They have reached out to us for our support to help alleviate their suffering, and in certain situations, help with their escape. For their protection we cannot expose their names publicly. In the future, large donors who are concerned about the transparency of fund ing [sic], we can provide the names and details privately. The work we do is practical. We will be supplying food, medicine, safe houses, legal help for visa applications, and in extreme circumstances, security details for rescue missions.
Our financial goal is to raise one million dollars a month – solely for the Raoul Wallenberg Project – which will allow us to make a significant impact to alleviate much of the suffering of persecuted Christians and remove them from their circumstances. We are working behind the scenes with members of Congress, in particular the staff of Congressman Allen West, who has kindly offered his help on Capital [sic] Hill. Other members of Congress will be recruited as public opinion puts pressure on them for their support of this real, and dangerous threat to Christians worldwide.
Shoebat’s reference to Congressman West is revealing. While AIPAC ensures that most members of Congress dare not openly oppose Israeli policies, West is particularly eager to please the lobby. In a letter to Florida constituents before his 2011 visit, he wrote:In Israel, I will get the opportunity to meet with a true Leader, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. At a time when western civilization has no leading voice, I believe the only one that resonates, speaks Hebrew.
As for Shoebat, his purported concern for persecuted Christians appears to be motivated by a similar passionate attachment. According to the description on his website of his alleged conversion from Muslim terrorist to Christian activist,
“He has set out to bring the cause of Christ, the Bible, and the case for Israel to millions throughout the world.”
Given Israel’s dispossession and ongoing oppression of Christians in Palestine, it seems likely that the Raoul Wallenberg Project’s stated mission of rescuing their co-religionists in Pakistan is merely cover for another Israeli project for the destabilization of the Islamic world.
