Kinetic Strike Hoax: General Demsey Debunks Zionist “Spin” (video testimony)

Internet Frauds Misquote JCOS Chair as Part of Israel Psyop

“…about the use of kinetic strikes?…That issue is under deliberation inside of our agencies of government and it would be inappropriate for me to try to influence the decision with me rendering an opinion in public about what kind of force we should use. I will let this committee know what my recommendations are at the appropriate time” … General Martin Dempsey, Chairman, JCOS

[Editors Note:  Colonel Ted Guy is in our Memoriam section at the bottom of our staff page. He not only was McCain’s commanding officer at the Hanoi Hilton but was pushing for him to be court marshaled upon return for providing aid and comfort to the enemy. Colonel Guy was flanked by the brass and civilian leadership when all Pows were given amnesty, otherwise there would never have been a Senator McCain…Jim W. Dean]

John McCain, at another time and place

It is bad enough when John McCain humiliates himself, attacks our military leaders and comes off looking like a foreign agent.

Where McCain failed, the “fabricationists,” clowns and malcontents of the press, from corporate controlled “MSM” to Zionist controlled phony “LFM” (Lunatic Fringe Media), we see the same lies, the same spin, the same agenda intended to undermine American leaders who seek policies independent of Israeli control.

We have the video, General Dempsey clearly avoids confirming any plans to strike Syria despite John McCain’s insults and badgering.

Now we have lunatic fringe press trying to do the work of “Hanoi John” McCain, the work of Israeli intelligence.

The Strange Case of Dr. Aafia

By Gordon Duff and Press TV

In a surprise announcement, Dr. Aafia Siddiqui will be returned to Pakistan in what is called a “prisoner swap.”  Dr. Aafia had been kidnapped and tortured in the infamous Bagram CIA prison for years before being spirited to the United States.

There she was tried and convicted in a travesty of immeasurable proportions.

Dr. Aafia is neither Jewish nor wealthy.  In fact, she was specifically targeted by groups supported by Dershowitz.

Thus, it is strange, that a legal ploy invented by Dershowitz will, not only prove her innocence, but indict the US for war crimes and clearly demonstrate the role of Zionism in Bush era war crimes, crimes that have continued into the Obama administration.

In a strange turn of events, I am reminded of Dr. Alan Dershowitz, whose “If it doesn’t fit, you must acquit” defense of O J Simpson led to an acquittal.  (Johnny Cochrane was only Dershowitz’s puppet)

Dershowitz is now calling for the arrest of prosecutors who ordered the arrest of “pretend policeman,” George Zimmerman, the young Jewish son of a powerful Washington judge who killed an unarmed Trayvon Martin in the third most publicized legal travesty of our time, the other being his defense of Claus von Bulow.

Dershowitz was silent on the Siddiqui case, but we will demonstrate, beyond any reasonable doubt, how, using his logic, perhaps a less twisted and perverted version, proves Dr. Aafia innocent.

However, we will begin with the background and why the persecution of Dr. Aafia became so important to the Zionist community, the neocons and the rabid White House gang of perverts and malcontents surrounding President Bush (43.)

Why has it taken President Obama this long to redress another American war crime?

There is a long and very hidden story here, a story that hold the real reason the United States would release what Israeli Judge Berman called “one of the worst terrorists in the history of the world,” and this is what he said before he heard the first word of what turned out to be, not just flimsy evidence but pure fabrication and lies.

I have been involved in this case on a personal basis for years.  To get the truth about this case, I interviewed:

  • Pakistani political leader and friend, Imran Khan,
  • General Hamid Gul, former Director General of Pakistan’s ISI,
  • General Ahmad Surja Pasha, current Director General of Pakistan’s ISI,
  • General Aslem Beg, former Chief of Staff, Army of Pakistan,
  • Admiral Iftikhar Ahmed Sirohey, former Chairman, JCOS, Pakistan and at least a dozen other political, military and intelligence figures.

In Afghanistan, I interviewed a number of people whose names are best not revealed.

The same goes for those interviewed in the US including but not limited to White House and Pentagon intelligence and counter-terrorism officials, “retired” CIA officials and, through channels, General Colin Powell, former Chairman, JCOS.

All agreed on one thing, the case against Dr. Aafia was fabricated by the Bush regime and CIA and her prosecution was orchestrated by Israeli intelligence.  The Musharraf regime in Pakistan assisted every step of the way.

I carried a letter to Powell from his counterpart in Pakistan asking for the release of Dr. Aafia. (Powell never responded)

In 2008, Dr. Aafia was charged with assaulting a CIA interrogation (kidnapping and torture) squad in Bagram prison where she had been taken, raped and tortured for five years leaving her confined to a wheel chair, was indicted as a terrorist.

In 2010, a jury made up of largely Israeli citizens convicted Dr. Aafia.  She was prosecuted by an Israeli and sentenced to 86 years in prison by Judge Berman, an Israeli citizen.

The Wikipedia account of her arrest and trial is, as with any controversial subject or individual covered by Wikipedia, a fabrication of Israel’s intelligence services.  They control Wikipedia and use it to provide cover for war crimes, smear campaigns and as cover for espionage operations.

We are told by highly reliable sources that Wikipedia surrendered control of its organization based on a serious of terrorist threats.

Many Wikipedia “editors” are, in fact, terrorists, spies or highly disturbed persons who have turned an otherwise wonderful asset into a sewer.

Dr. Aafia was chosen at random based on orders given to the CIA by Irving Lowenstein, an Israeli citizen, son of an investment banker, acting as National Security Advisor to President Bush (43)  Lowenstein, or “Libby” as he calls himself, was later convicted of five felonies but was released when his sentence was commuted.

“Libby,” acting on orders of Vice President Dick Cheney was told to provide “warm bodies” to be kidnapped, tortured and later convicted in order to promote President Bush’s imaginary scenario of “yellowcake” uranium being smuggled into Iraq.

Libby’s convictions were based on the obliteration of the CIA’s anti-proliferation division that had supplied information debunking the Bush theory to Wilson, husband of Valerie Plame.

The exposure and destruction of the CIA’s anti-proliferation division, according to White House sources near the president, was actually ordered by President Bush and Vice President Cheney in consultation with Karl Rove.

Their goal was to eliminate any and all access to critical intelligence by Democratic leaders in the congress even if it meant destroying intelligence assets and sacrificing the lives of CIA agents and their contacts.

This is how the government continues to talk about Iran’s nuclear program.  All congressional briefings on nuclear proliferation are “outsourced” to private contractors owned by GOP officials who no longer brief even the Democratic heads of key senate committees.

We are told even Republican Senator John McCain has been taken off the high level briefing risk as he has shown too much independence.

In 1999, General Musharraf seized power in Pakistan, almost simultaneous with the planned coup against the US government a year later.

After 9/11, Musharraf declared war on Islamic fundamentalism and began accepting wide financial support from Jewish organizations within the US

Within days, General Hamid Gul, ISI chief during the critical Afghan conflict against the Soviets, had declared 9/11 a move against the US government by extremist elements.

Weeks later, confirmed by official CIA sources, Osama bin Laden in his last proven press statement backed Gul’s statement and said that 9/11 was a false flag attack orchestrated by groups within the US.

In order to gain favor with the Bush regime, which had seized power in the US as he had in Pakistan, Musharraf tasked rogue units of the ISI with kidnapping innocent civilians and selling them, at $55,000 apiece, to the CIA to be imprisoned and tortured.

Vice President Cheney had put out a  request for “warm bodies,” taxi drivers, school children, farmers, anyone that could be imprisoned or tortured, anyone that would bolster the numbers given to the press, hungry for news that the “evildoers of 9/11” were being brought to justice.

In that process, Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, wife of a Boston anesthesiologist, was kidnapped from the streets of Karachi, Pakistan along with her three children.

Witnesses to the kidnapping claim her baby, Suleman, was stomped to death on the street before her CIA kidnappers threw her into one of their three Chevrolet “Denali” vehicles, the exact same vehicles described by the Delta Force as Osama bin Laden’s “escape vehicles,” the only vehicles of that type in the region.

The fate of Dr. Aafia’s other children is less than clear.  One was said to have been delivered to the family home in Pakistan with a message tied to her neck.  No one has been able to verify if this is Miriam, who would have been held prisoner, as a small child, by the United States Air Force for 7 years.

Dr. Aafia fared little better imprisoned on a military base in the US where she has been continually abused and tortured, requiring hospitalization, in itself often more a danger than no medical care at all.

Thus far, we are assured at least two children were murdered, one probably by CIA hired kidnappers, one by US Air Force or CIA personnel in Afghanistan and the third is unclear.

Siddiqui was then sent to Bagram Air Force Base, where, under the authority of Air Force commanders, the FBI, US Navy SEALS and US Army Special Forces, the then “White Lady of Bagram” was raped and tortured until her crippled and broken 87 pound body was shipped to the United States for a secret tribunal overseen by Israeli intelligence services from their vast headquarters in New York City.

Aafia is one of the few prisoners to escape Bagram.  American forces, working closely with drug enforcers from the hated Northern Alliance, regularly tortured and killed kidnap victims, usually Pashtun farmers but often prisoners taken off the streets of Italy, Germany, Britain, Canada, Australia, Austria and even the United States.

Witness accounts tell of prisoners being dragged behind Humvees until so much of their body was ripped away by the stones and gravel that the remainder could be shoveled into a plastic trash bag and thrown into a burn pit.

None received the mystical “burial at sea” supposedly supplied bin Laden.  In a highly classified intelligence briefing by Pakistan’s ISPR authorized by Major General Athar Abbas, Osama bin Laden’s death in 2001 was confirmed.  Author Jeff Gates attended that briefing with me.

The murder of so many Navy Seals, killed to cover this up, should have been unnecessary.

This is what we were told by associates in the FBI and US military who spoke with witnesses at the Aafia trial:

“Aafia was brought into an interrogation room at Bagram.  She was in a wheel chair and ‘semi-responsive.’  Two senior FBI interrogators were there, two Navy SEALS, one US Army Special Forces intelligence officer and a translator.

Two US Air Force commandos, armed with M 4 carbines with 30 round magazines, were assigned as guards.

Aafia suddenly and surprisingly leapt to her feet, knocked both FBI interrogators to the ground, subdued one of the Navy SEALS with a karate blow, hit the other with a spinning back kick, ripped one of the carbines from the terrified Air Force commando but was prevented from taking over the facility by the brave Afghan interpreter who picked up the second carbine, dropped by the Air Force commando who fled the room screaming.

The interpreter then shot Dr. Siddiqui in the abdomen.”

As Jim W. Dean so often says, “you can’t make things like this up.”

The story, cleaned up, rewritten, rehearsed and “re-fictionalized,” was presented to a rigged jury in a “kangaroo court” in New York.

Now for the “Dershowitz factor:”

The prosecution stated that Dr. Aafia was shot by her “translator.”

Dr. Aafia Siddiqui has a Doctorate of Microbiology degree from the MIT, one of the most prestigious universities in the world.

Dr. Aafia lectured there for some years, in English.

Dr. Aafia has spoken English all her life.

Why was there a translator in the room?

“If it doesn’t fit, you must acquit,” in the words spoken by attorney Johnny Cochrane, words suggested by Alan Dershowitz, words that led to the acquittal of O J Simpson.

I can believe an 87 pound rape victim, tortured, crippled, could defeat Navy SEALS, pummel FBI interrogators and terrify Air Force commandos.

However, nobody can believe the “translator,” not in a real trial.

Problem is, Dr. Aafia never had a real trial.  We don’t do that in America anymore.

U.S. Weighs Syrian Options, Air Force Considers Cali Drilling Lease

Military Headline News, brought to you by

* U.S. military options in Syria range from training and advising rebels fighting to topple the government there to putting American troops on the ground.

The scenarios were laid out in a letter from Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin Dempsey to the White House.

Dempsey cautioned that once military action is taken, deeper involvement is likely.

* Military families with autistic dependents are breathing a little easier after learning that stricter requirements to stay in government-paid care wont apply to them.

An estimated 23,000 military dependents have some degree of autism.

* The Air Force might lease land to companies to drill for oil and natural gas off California’s central coast.

Environmentalists oppose the idea. If approved, it would mark the first offshore drilling in California waters since the 1960s.

* Shoddy work by contractors in Afghanistan might have led to deaths of American troops

Government investigators have found cases where security grates were paid for but never installed or installed improperly.

Arafat vs. Chief Rabbis

On July 23, 2013, the candidates to Israel’s Chief Rabbi woke up with a surprise. Advocate Loei Arafat, from Nazareth Illit*, sent a letter to the Attorney General of Israel** complaining on one of the candidates and demanding to know the Attorney General position on the racist words of the candidate. He also demanded this position to be imposed on the other candidates.

This was wise; he put the Attorney General between a rock and a hard place. He must decide between accepting racism and declaring most candidacies illegitimate.

Afterwards, still early in the morning, he sent a copy of the letter to settler Channel 7, in order to sweeten the prominent rabbis’ first cup of coffee. Days after it was disclosed that only four out of the ten candidates had completed their rabbinical studies, this was a calamity.

Faith Beyond Despair: Building Hope in the Holy Land

A Day Late and a Dollar Short

On March 24, 2013, expired the term of the current Chief Rabbis. The delayed elections are scheduled for July 24, but following the recent events, they may be delayed again.

The election of Chief Rabbis is not a public event; it takes place within the secretive corridors of the Ministry of Religious Services and the Rabbinate. Until now, both posts (Ashkenazi and Sephardic) were occupied exclusively by Ultra-Orthodox Haredi rabbis.

The delay and the dirty war we are witnessing may be the result of Netanyahu’s new coalition attempt to change the Haredi dominance. Haredim are not in the new coalition. A key partner of the current government is the Jewish Home, the settlers’ Religious Zionist party.+ One of their goals is to create a substantial change in the Chief Rabbinate structure by placing at the top a non-Ultra-Orthodox candidate.++

After their candidate reached the final stage without real chances of winning the post, they started a smearing campaign against the Ultra-Orthodox candidates. In its final step, they got unexpected help from Mr. Arafat.

We Belong to the Land: The Story of a Palestinian Israeli Who Lives for Peace & Reconciliation

The rabbinical elections have sent the Jewish communities in the Holy Land back to Babylon, but not to the one they yearn for. Since the destruction of the Second Temple in 70AD, there cannot be a single Jewish authority; instead, every congregation leads its own affairs, sometimes creating Chief Rabbis representing it towards national institutions. The State of Israel attempted to change that.

A fake society can’t create anything but a fake sense of unity; after its incomplete foundation, the State of Israel created the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, which is defined by law as the Halakhic (Jewish law, parallel to Muslim Sharia) authority for the Jewish people in Israel.

The institution is in charge of personal status issues, like marriages, divorces, burials, conversion to Judaism and other more esoteric issues like kosher certification. It is divided into Ashkenazi and Sephardic sections. This division was imposed by the secular authorities of the State of Israel and is the source of the urban legends abounding on the topic.

It is impossible to divide Judaism only in these two categories. Mountain Jews, Yemenite Jews, Iraqi Jews belong to their own liturgical groups. In the Netherlands, there is a large concentration of Sephardic Jews (the Haredi professor described in The Cross of Bethlehem was born to such parents). There is a clear division between European and Russian congregations. A plethora of hidden subdivisions.

Yet, the State divided the complex situation according to just the two leading liturgical traditions. By mixing up different traditions, it unwillingly reenacted the Tower of Babel: “let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech“—Genesis 11:7. Congregations were assigned to one of the two rabbinate’s sections according to a geographical reasoning. To their astonishment, Yemenites and Mountain Jews found themselves classified as Sephardic (“Spaniards” in Hebrew) while they are utterly disinterested to know even where Spain is. Cyprus is not too shabby for their vacations.

In all synagogues, services are conducted in Hebrew, but intonations and chanting vary. Yet, humanistsinvariably claim to possess the ultimate truth; please don’t argue with them because they are violent. The State of Israel divides in two because it wants to, it is easier for them to run the country; that’s it, shut up.

This weird organization of religion by the State is the basis for the current situation. Recently, a rabbi accused of bribery was appointed Head of Jerusalem Rabbinical Court, a rabbi laid down the religious basis for an attack on Syria, and for a while, Israel’s Sports Ministry acquired authority for nominating rabbis. I described other atrocities in Monster Rabbi and other articles.

Israel’s religious authorities are subjugated to a secular organization, the Ministry of Religious Services. As a consequence, rabbis are tempted to ignore moral behavior; after all, humanist government ministries judge events according to financial considerations; in their eyes, “good” and “evil” are nonsense.

Nasty Nepotism

Luckily, one doesn’t need to understand what good is to become a rabbi. Government approval stamps are available for $1 at the nearest street market. Alternatively, you can be born to right father. Unlike the retroactive laws& favored by Israel, this one is tricky to perform.

Four candidates are sons of former chief rabbis (Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, Rabbi David Lau, Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef and Rabbi Yaakov Shapira). Three of them received their rabbinical certificate at the time their fathers headed the system supervising the ordination$ and were exempted of exams.

Allow me to skip a detailed list of the candidates’ cheap virtues, and reach the crux of the matter.

Arafat vs. Eliyahu

Veteran readers of this site may remember Shmuel Eliyahu from an article named Racist Rabbis. As City Rabbi of Tzfat, he issued a decree instructing residents not to rent rooms or houses to Palestinian Israelis. The last are full citizens of the State of Israel.

Subsequently, posters appeared all over the town, saying: “Don’t rent rooms to Arabs. Don’t give work to Arabs. Don’t give Arabs any foothold in our community.” Jews renting rooms to Palestinians with Israeli citizenship got telephonic threats. One such a case was of Eliyahu Zvieli (then 89, survivor of WWII) who rented rooms to three Palestinian students. He reported “People have called the house and threatened to attack, they said they would burn it down if we don’t leave.”

Advocate Arafat mentioned that and asked the Attorney General to check out other racist decrees by the Eliyahu. “Can a racist be Chief Rabbi?” is Arafat’s question. In the letter reproduced above, he quotes:
5. (on marriages)… “goy with goy and Jew only with Jew” …
6. … (a man listening) … “should not hear a known woman singing” …
7. … “food cooked by a goy is forbidden… even if cooked in the house of Israel with kosher ingredients… it is AKUM% cooking”
8. … “the wine of Christians is forbidden for joy (drinking). It is forbidden even for touch, or even to be given as a gift to other goy. It should be thrown to the toilet.”

If accepting the claim, the Attorney General can thwart the nomination of such candidate by beginning a legal process against the racist. If rejecting the claim, he will prove that the State of Israel is openly racist. If Eliyahu falls, other candidates will fall with him. Bravo, Arafat!

Fanatic Humanism’s Boomerang

Truth is simple. When the rabbinical system recognized the authority of the State to get involved in its internal issues it became nothing but a servant of Humanism Fanatics organized as a Westphalian state with a Walsingham-style surveillance system. They can’t be faithful to God in such hostile environment. Yet, they don’t care, State certificates are cheap.

There can be neither compromise nor solution to this conflict. Simply, no state can impose religion upon its citizens, this is a private issue between each one of them and God. Israel is trying to impose not only this, but also the specific worshipping ways allowed to every person. It tries to impose the way one will be received into this world (including forcing mutilations), the way one will marry and with whom, and the way one should be buried. These are not roles of the State. The Humanist states imposed these days on people are nothing but unintelligible Towers of Babel set to fall into the deep waters of eternal oblivion.

* Nazareth Illit—Upper Jerusalem in Hebrew—is the Jewish settlement next to Nazareth. It often reaches headlines due to its awful treatment of Palestinians, see Jewish Mayor: I’ve been called “Fascist, Thug, Racist”

** Attorney General of Israel (HaYoetz HaMishpati LaMemshala, literally The Legal Advisor to the Government) is the head of the executive branch legal system.

+ Likud and Labor are nationalistic and secular parties. Haredi parties are religious and non-nationalistic or slightly nationalistic. For many years, the National Religious Party was the bridge allowing the unholy alliance between Zionism and ultra-Orthodox Judaism. Their most visible characteristic is a “Kipah Sruga” (handwoven skullcap) in contrast to the black skullcap used by the Haredim and Hasidim. In 2009, the party was dissolved, and most of its former members created The Jewish Home. In the 2013 elections, it got 12 seats in the Knesset (out of 120), getting substantial power and becoming a central member in the government.

+ In February 2013, a public campaign promoted Rabbi Stav, one of the founders of Yeshivat Hesder Petah Tikva, to be nominated as Chief Rabbi. “Yeshivat Hesder” is a generic name for religious colleges that combine Talmudic studies with military service in the army; they belong to the Nationalistic Religious framework. Most religious Jews are exempted from military service; the new Conscription Law was one of the main reasons leading to the 2013 early elections
The party attempted to recruit the secular voice (the majority) to support a “militaristic-rabbi” to the post of Chief Rabbi. Accordingly, an organization called “Secular Headquarters for the Election of Rabbi Stav” was created and is led by Eran Rols. The scene is surrealistic. On February 2, he said to Channel 7, “You must understand, the Haredim lead seculars away from the rabbinical world. I am sorry to say that Zionist rabbis live within their own ghettos, and do not understand that the secular public must be encouraged to take part in the election of Chief Rabbis.” Rabbi Stav claims not to be involved in this initiative.

& An ex post facto law (Latin for “after the fact”), or retroactive law, is a law that retroactively changes the legal consequences of actions committed prior to the enactment of the law. Ex post facto laws are expressly forbidden by the United States Constitution, though some countries accept them.
These laws cannot be accepted as fair practice, regardless of the justifications used for their approval. Simply, how can one protect himself against a law that has not been legislated? Imagine the USA legislating in 2012 a new law declaring all bubble-gum chewing performed before 2012 a crime. Then the government would declare all citizens guilty unless proven otherwise, and fine them $1.00 automatically. States applying this horror assume that people have the power of precognition (Israel did that again recently, see Minority Report: IDF arrests Palestinian prisoner released in Shalit swap).
In Israel, the Nazis and Nazi Collaborators Punishment Law (Hok Le’Asiat Din BaNatzim) cannot be accepted as a legitimate law, especially due to its geopolitical consequences. The Nazis and Nazi Collaborators Punishment Law from August 1, 1950, enables the execution of Nazis, had been applied. Between 1950 and 1961, this law was used to prosecute 29 Jewish Holocaust survivors alleged to have been Nazi collaborators. The first and only time it was used to execute a person, was in the Adolf Eichmann case. He was illegally kidnapped by Mossad from Argentina in 1960 and two years later was hanged. What makes this a special event from a legal point of view is that this law is a retroactive and extraterritorial law, since the State of Israel didn’t exist during WWII. Moreover, the alleged crimes were neither committed in Israel nor against Israeli citizens.
If we accept this, we will be forced also to accept a Laotian law sentencing Americans chewing bubble-gum in Honduras to death (no offense intended to any of the abovementioned nations).

$ The Chief Rabbinate’s Exams and Ordination Department grants three classes of titles. “Yoreh Yoreh” certificates to recipients recognized as Halacha teachers. City Rabbi certificates to those who took tests on additional issues. “Yadin Yadin” certificates, the most important title, to those about to become religious judges.
The Chief Rabbi also serves as President of the Supreme Rabbinical Court of Appeals, a position parallel to the secular Supreme Court President. However, he is not required to hold a “Yadin Yadin” certificate.

% Hebrew uses acronyms extensively, though in a fashion different than English, favoring the creation of words, or the matching of existing words. AKUM stands for “worshippers of stars and horoscopes,” thus being the definition of “pagans.” However, as a word, AKUM means “bended,” adding the meaning of “wrong” to “pagans.”

Jim Dean Debates Choudary – Radical Salafist Cleric

Anjen Choudary – Who really is the man behind the eyes? – and who does he really work for?

… by Jim W. Dean, VT Editor      … with Press TV

I got a call Sunday morning about doing this Press TV show, debating Choudary on Syria. So it was a Christmas in July for me with Santa coming early. The transcript below is just my part. PTV does like to do full show transcripts as that is too long a format for their news section.

You can watch the 23 minute engagement here.

Choudary is an old street fighter but he made his first goof early in the show when he put the entire 100,000 dead from the Syrian war all at Assad’s doorstep, like we all live on another planet and are not aware of what his Salafist buddies have been doing there. I could not hijack the show from the host and turn in into a mugging of Choudary as the topic was the Kurds and al-Nusra fighting in northern Syria.

But I went ahead and submitted an article to Press TV’s Viewpoints   Sunday night where I used the interesting material I had found on the man behind the Foster Grants with the twinkle in is eye, like he is enjoying the role he is playing immensely. The longer commentary format gave me room to get some needed licks on the Salafist Jihadi crazies and their international supporters, which incredibly include us as our Gulf proxies are funding and arming these religious thugs. Enjoy the show. I surely did.

West, Israelis exploiting divisions in Syria case: Dean

Chournary pushing Sharia for Britain – January 12th, 2010 – Something that looks like a classical psychological operation to stokes people’s fears of Muslims – better to fight them ‘over there’, than here.

Press TV has invited Jim W. Dean, the editor of the Veterans Today from Atlanta, to shed more light on the latest developments in the political scene in Syria.

Following is an approximate transcription of the interview.

Choudary’s Salafists – Chop people’s heads off, blame it on Assad.

Press TV: Mr. Dean why do you think that we are starting to see a growing role in the Syrian conflict by the Kurds at this time?

Dean: Well, I am not surprised because you have had a lot of major developments with some of these ongoing battles with the Kurds, particularly with Iraq basically coming to an arrangement with them to try to end the longstanding, never-ending fights going on there.

And then of course with al-Nusrah, basically, trying to carve off a northern part of Syria, so they can establish a quasi-Islamic state there, that is going to run head-to-head against the Kurds because these Islamist, radical crazies, they do not respect or honor anybody’s rights, interests or whatever.

Once they get control, it is going to rule via the knife and getting your head chopped off if they have any problems with you.

Press TV: Mr. Dean do you believe that the Kurdish group is, actually, being encouraged from the outside to do what they are doing?

Dean: I would not say so, because they have not really been encouraged by anybody for a long time. They are a very nationalistic people, one of the last, really longstanding, victims of the British empire. When they set up these states, they made sure that different ethnic groups were thrown in together, so there would always be tensions there because they tend to rule their colonies, even after they pulled out by the divide and conquer method.

So, they could always pit groups against each other and it would be easier to manipulate them and the West is still trying to do that now and we are very concerned and we think a lot of it is being manipulated for benefits of the West, so they can justify military presence and consider threats that they are actually manipulating and creating themselves.

Press TV: Mr. Dean, as far as what our guest in London is saying and the crimes that we have seen, he said obviously groups do not come from the other side of the world to go and commit crimes, but how do you see that especially if they are getting paid?

Chounary – a bit younger

Dean: Well, of course they do. I mean it is a ridiculous statement. The complete reversal Assad has had with support inside Syria is that all these outside groups have recorded thieves and murderers and drug smugglers from all over the planet, including your typical young teenagers looking for something to do and the brutality of these Muslim terrorists who were…,

There is nobody that can hold a candle to them in terms of cruelty because there is nothing more cruel than a religious terrorist who feels he is doing God’s will and what has happened now is the al-Nusrah people have everybody in Syria so scared about what is going to happen to them if they win.

Even opponents of Assad are backing him now because the big enemy is the Sharia crazies and Assad will win in 2014 when we have another election, he is going to win by a landslide.

So, really, what we are seeing is that Islam has been carjacked by the radicals and they have a lot of operatives in the media, even some of the Western intelligence agencies who were trying to stir things up or seeing to it that a lot of them get a lot of media publicity which we are very suspicious about.

The Kurds have been fighting for autonomy for decades

Press TV: Mr. Dean in general when we are looking at this situation, who actually, benefits from this type of division?

Would it not be, for example like the Israelis if the Kurds really were able to, actually, get that separate region, trying to, basically, separate Syria? Who benefits from this?

Dean: Well, the Israelis have been a player in this. They were planning to use Kurdish airbases for their attack on Iran. Israeli commandos had been training some of the Kurdish paramilitary people; they have been training them in security. So Israel definitely has had a very big footprint there because Israelis are very, very good at exploiting divisions amongst people.

So that is a concern, but I think that the first thing we have to try to get by on this thing is, whether the Kurds are going to have what is called an autonomous region, which would, kind of be like a state within a country where they have like a state government and they have control over their local affairs like in a way states do in the US. But I do not think that they are going to get a situation where there…

Press TV: Like Iraq right now?

The Kurds will fight – They always have

Dean: Yes, correct. But I am not really seeing a situation where they are going to get an independent country.

I think that Kurds would be very, very happy to manage all their local affairs and get Syrian troops or Turkish troops…, they do not have Turkish policemen and Turkish crooked judges to have to deal with in dealing with their local affairs. This is what all local people want.

They want to get the federal people and particularly the crooks and their corruption out of their country, out of their region.

Press TV: Do you consider the growing activity in the situation in Syria by the Kurds, is it dangerous? Do you see it as being a dangerous movement that is taking place or not?

Dean: I do not really think that it is. I think that the Kurds are obviously…, some resolution is going to have to be made. I think they deserve, like any people, to have autonomous control over what they are doing, but just taking a look at the Jihadi, the al-Qaeda, al-Nusrah people that is supposed to bring this Nirvana of Sharia law, they are completely exposed now as having carjacked Islam.

These are nothing but cruel, vicious people who are using religion, like it has always been, whether it is crusaders or Islamists, basically, to control and have a vicious regime and the Kurds know this now.

And the Kurds are going to fight. They are not going to put up with that. If they have been fighting the Turks and the Syrians and the Iraqis for decades and decades and decades, they are sure going to fight a bunch of religious Islamic extremists.

The Kurds have been on the short end of the stick – the gassing end

Press TV: Well, Mr. Dean how do you see the situation playing out right now? With the situation happening right now with the Kurds we have seen, basically it seems playing both sides of the spectrum.

We earlier saw the Kurds, actually, fighting the Syrian government forces, now we have seen them fighting al-Nusrah forces and now there seems to be a ceasefire between al-Nusrah and the Kurds.

What do you think the bottom-line is? Basically, are they supporting or are they opposed to either side or basically is it just a separate agenda?

Dean: I think that it is a separate agenda and I think one of the most fruitless questions to ask today for really anybody is how do you think this going to play out because I do not think anybody knows.

It is absolutely utter, total chaos, you have all the old animosities now superimposed by a whole bunch of new ones that are being created, including those that said they were carrying the banner for pure Islam. They basically have shown their true hand in Syria that on their best day they are as bad as anything that the Western imperialists have ever done.

So it is just a tremendous, horrible situation that nice regular, moderate people over there, that just want to live their lives and raise their families are being cruelly victimized including those…, Mr. Choudary seems to leave that out.

He gives a freehand to all the radicals and Taliban. They have been blowing up and slaughtering innocent civilians without any bad publicity by people like Mr. Choudary….

Peace and love from al-Nusra. Stop by to see us some time, and bring a few friends. We can party.

In Defense of 21st Century Judaism and IsraHell

by Johnny Punish

Not all Jews are Zionists and NOT all Zionists are Jews. There is a big difference. One is a religion and other a political movement. More, all Arabs are Semites and NOT all Jews are Semites! Read that again! Okay! Furthermore, NOT every Jew is an evil global banker! So let’s stop that non-cents as well.

Look, the reason you need to read this is that we are all being duped into hate, violence, racism and bigotry and it’s non-sense. And worse, it’s hurting each and every one of us.

With over 14 million people worldwide who practice Judaism and only about 5 million of those who live in Israel, Judaism and Israel are NOT one in the same. (Judaism Online)

Heck, most people who practice Judaism that I know won’t even consider moving to Israel. They love where they live. Israel is NOT their home. More, most peoples who practice Judaism are NOT even Semites. Their ancestry is European and not from the Middle Eastern cultures.

  • So what is going on here?
  • Why do we have all these things convoluted?
  • Why are we so confused?
  • Who is trying to confuse us?

Stop! Hey! What’s that sound, everybody look what’s going down….

Israel is a country not a religion. This is a fact.

Israel has almost 30% of its population non-Jewish. Judaism is a religion with deep roots starting in African continent and transcending nation state borders worldwide. It’s always been a minority religion and remains such worldwide. Relax! Oh, and a Semite is a person who comes from the Middle Eastern cultures; namely Arabs, Hebrews, and more… read the wiki definition…... In other words, a Semite is NOT exclusively a person who practices Judaism. Get it? Got it? Good!

Now, fast forward to our 21st century and some are still trying to sell us a bag of you know what and it’s not cool anymore; especially in the USA where the vast majority have no clue where Israel is even located, let alone its demographics or political realities.

For example, if one challenges the policy of the nation state of Israel, one is branded an anti-Semite. Yes, it’s non-sense. And yes there are millions of well-intentioned uninformed Americans who buy in to this weird disposition. It’s batshit crazy, I know. But that’s how powerful the main stream media can be over time when it sells an agenda dominated by a ruling elite who have an interest in perpetuating bigotry, racism, hate, war, and more war. It’s a game of global money power politics at the highest level with an extreme dose of contempt for humanity.

The nation state of Israel and its assigns go around selling Zionism as if it’s a religion. They using Judaism and the good people who practice it with full faith and integrity. And they use every card in the book to further their agenda including abusing the poor hard working Americans who practice devout Christianity in their churches all the while being told that if they save Israel they will save themselves. So they support everything Israel without question creating a cultish disposition. Can you believe it? I know, it’s bizarre but it’s also very true.

So these normally kind and giving Christians stand by and donate time and money to a nation state of Israel who brings in Euro-American-Russian settlers to push out, by any means necessary, the indigenous Semites who have been living there for hundreds of years. It’s a trail of tears for the 21st century. And it’s insane. It’s time to call out the leaders who sell this non-sense and hold them accountable because it’s anti-American, anti-Israeli, and anti-Human!

Look, the real truth for all of us to understand is that we’ve all been duped; Muslims, Christians, Jews and pagans alike. We’ve been lied to by global leaders with an agenda. They want us to hate each other in this new 21st Century because they profit from us when we oblige them.

The real truth is that people are people and most all want the same thing.

We all want the freedom to work, live, love, laugh and cry and have our faith. We want to share and enjoy our humanity. We don’t want war, killings and we are sick and tired of being pushed by faux leaders who sell us the garbage of division.
YouTube – Veterans News Now –

Look, when my mother was young, back in Haifa Palestine, like her, her neighbors were Semitic peoples; one Muslim family, the other a family who practiced Judaism and her family, Greek orthodox Christians. And they all got along great. The kids would play in the streets and enjoy one another.

It was the warped 20th century adults that gave in to fear not the kids. So they infected and imposed their bias on the children who were no match for their conditioning. For those peoples, they did NOT have the knowledge we all now have.

Back then, it was easy to hate. Today, with the information superhighway and the lovely social networks that allow us to talk to our friends in Russia, India, and more….we all realize that there is no more color, no more bigotry and no more borders that divide us. We’re all human beings!

But then again, I am talking about the new generation of young peoples. These young people see the failure that was the 20th century generations and they don’t want it. But of course, it’s still forced on these future global humans by these old crusty jerks that sell division and hate.

So when my kids ask me, “Hey day, when will this all end?” sadly I tell them, we have to wait for the old crusties to die off who hold on to power in old crusty corridors of power. Then we need to gut their system and replace with it a new one that fits our new paradigm. And it will happen!

And to all ye haters out there, check it.

Israel will exist and it will be democratic with rights for all people including those who choose to practice any religion. It won’t be Jewish, Christian or Muslim. It will be a free country. The demographics will dictate. And Palestine will exist because Palestinians exist. But they will be friends with their neighbors and the politics of hate will go away because it brought no rewards when the old people ran things. They failed badly and failure is always shown the door; especially in the light speed socialized global world of this new century.

Memo to Old Crusties: Give up now because there is no other way…. so why pretend otherwise? If you continue to sell division, you will go down in history as a complete and utter failure. You will be an icon for failure and a laughing stock. So end it now and give yourself a chance at redemption.

Postscript: You can depend on Brother Johnny Punish to call out the haters one by one. I don’t care what faith they supposedly represent or what country they are from or what color they are. If they hurt our kids anymore, I will come after them. Sell positive cooperation and love, and you got a friend. Sell hate and violence and you get punished by Punish! I make that commitment and will continue to shine lights on the insane who try to pull a fast one on us the good global peoples. And I also call on you to join in and be part of this new 21st Century paradigm. It’s here and our future is written all over it. It’s calling us and it’s time to answer!

We’re All Human Beings

Indyk Returns as Kerry’s Chief Negotiator

Indyk began his Washington career as an AIPAC staffer, served as executive director of an AIPAC think tank offshoot, the Washington Institute of Near East Policy, and then served two short terms as the first foreign-born U.S. Ambassador to Israel.

 by James M. Wall

Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert (L)with Martin Indyk, former US ambassador to Israel.

Secretary of State John Kerry is expected to name Martin Indyk as the U.S. Representative to the Israel-Palestinian peace negotiation. Indyk has been around this peace talk track before.

He belongs to a small group of Jewish diplomats who have specialized in Middle East negotiations. The same names come up with every new effort to reconcile Israel and the Palestinian Authority.

This time the key player is Indyk. Who is he?

Indyk (shown above at right with former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert) began his Washington career as an AIPAC staffer, served as executive director of an AIPAC think tank offshoot, the Washington Institute of Near East Policy, and then served two short terms as the first foreign-born U.S. Ambassador to Israel.

Indyk was born to a Jewish family in London, England. The family moved to Australia where Indyk grew up in the Sydney suburb of Castlecrag. He graduated from the University of Sydney in 1972. He received his PhD in international relations from the Australian National University in 1977. Indyk emigrated to the United States and later gained American citizenship in 1993.

Indyk’s pro-Israel credentials are spelled out by Phillip Weiss, writing in Mondoweiss:

He wrote (in the book  4 years ago) that: “I was first drawn to the Middle East through my Jewish identity and connection to Israel.” Indyk now works at Brookings for a man he calls his “godfather,” Haim Saban. Saban has said that his “greatest concern… is to protect Israel.”

Indyk was described in 1992 by a former AIPAC president as AIPAC’s political asset in the Clinton campaign. After the spectacular failure of Camp David negotiations that he helped conduct in 2000, Indyk was characterized by former Palestinian negotiator Mohammed Dahlan as having a pro-Israel bias and “advanced negative attitudes toward Palestinians.”

While former Palestinian negotiator Nabil Shaath said that Indyk was “partial, biased, pro-Israel” and defended Israeli settlements more than Israelis.

And this is the man in whom we are to place our trust as Kerry’s point man for peace?

When Kerry was engaged in his recent travels to the region, he tried to make the case that this set of negotiations would be the final opportunity to bring the two opposing sides together.  Now the news from Palestine is that President Mahmoud Abbas is satisfied that Kerry and Indyk will be fair in reaching an agreement.

How could Abbas possibly reach such a conclusion?  There is nothing emanating from the Israeli side that would suggest that Benjamin Netanyahu can bring his right-wing government to accept a peace agreement anywhere near any reasonable position of fairness.

Is the Palestinian Authority president placing his trust in the upcoming negotiations because of specific promises? Word from Israel is that it is prepared to release some longtime Palestinian political prisoners, many of whom Israel classifies as “heavyweights”, whatever that could possibly mean.

Kerry has also dropped hints of financial incentives to the PA from outside investors who are eager to invest in the Palestinian economy.

That is the old “investment not divestment” trope which has been a part of Protestant church discussions in recent years.  It sounds nice but where is the meat? Where are the roadblocks opening up; where are the tough decisions on Israel’s illegal settlements?

Richard Silverstein is sceptical of the usual Israeli ploy to release Palestinian prisoners as a sign of good will. He writes:

They’ll supposedly be getting 100 freed Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails for decades. The Israel Broadcasting Authority says the prisoner release would happen in four stages and the first one would only happen during the second month of negotiations. A lot can happen in that time.

And I’d say a guarantee of this happening is pretty thin. Further, the Palestinians seem willing to overlook that Israel, after past prisoner exchanges, promptly rearrested whoever it still wants behind bars.

Another issue the Palestinians would apparently give up is their efforts to win international recognition in bodies like the United Nations. That’s giving up a whole lot in return for very little. The Guardian quotes a former PA official on the illusions that underpin the talks about starting talks:

Ghassan Khatib, former director of communications for the Palestinian Authority. “The thing that bothers me is that it seems that the resumption of negotiations is seen as an objective in itself. But the problem was never the lack of negotiations, direct or indirect. It is the huge gap between Israel’s stated position and its practices, and the lack of willingness by the US to put pressure on them.”

In these negotiation promises, there is not a single sign that oppression will be eased. Psalm 146:3 comes to mind: “Do not put your trust in princes” (NIV).  It would be wrong to believe that this new round of talks brings with them the slightest hope of success, if our only hope rests with U.S. political leaders who have thus far forfeited their leadership to the Zionist Lobby.

Which is why the real effort on the part of progressives in and out of religious communities, must be to persuade the American public that our only hope for peace in the region is in our ability to put pressure on U.S. political decision makers, from the White House to the Congress and out to the media.

Which is why this could be the right moment to enlist retired military leaders in the cause of peace.

These are the front line leaders who are strongly in favor of negotiations that really succeed. The military generals who must work in the US Central Command are closer to the situation on the ground than diplomats visiting from outside.

This map of the different U.S. Central Commands show the Central Command stretching from Afghanistan into north Africa.

Max Blumenthal reported on a recent Aspen Institute conference in which:

Recently retired US Central Commander General James Mattis warned .  .  .   that if Secretary of State John Kerry’s attempts to broker a deal between Israel and the Palestinian Authority failed, Israel would be exposed as an apartheid state. Mattis pointed at the settlement enterprise as the source of Israel’s diplomatic crisis, declaring that “the protagonists” – Israel and the Palestinian Authority – might not be as interested in a deal as Kerry is.

Mattis’ warning follows an earlier warning issued by Israeli negotiator Tzipi Livni, who warned that Israel is in danger of a worldwide boycott if current negotiations fail.

General James Mattis spoke at the Aspen Institute’s annual Security Forum, in Colorado. He was far more direct than political leaders dare to be.

Mattis said that as a result of Israeli intransigence and the US special relationship with Israel, he and his troops have “paid a military security price.” His comments echoed those of his predecessor, General David Petraeus, who told the Senate Armed Service Committee in 2010 that “enduring hostilities between Israel and some of its neighbors” had damaged US interests in the region. Petraeus was hammered by pro-Israel forces for his remarks – Abe Foxman called him “dangerous” — and wound up walking them back.

Mattis, a 45-year military veteran, ended his assignment at CENTCOM on June 1. He appears to be speaking without much concern for domestic political pressure. The Abe Foxmans of U.S. domestic politics do not seem to trouble him.

We no longer have a significant and progressive ally on the media front at a time when a second term Obama administration shows signs of fatigue and what is worse, an unwillingness to defy Israeli demands.

Progressives worldwide are mourning the death of longtime journalist Helen Thomas, who died July 20 at age 92, in Washington. She threw hard questions at every president from John F. Kennedy to Barack Obama.

The Washington Post reporting on her death, wrote:

Thomas routinely questioned White House officials over U.S. policies toward Israel and the Middle East, which led some to complain she was too sympathetic to Palestinian and Arab viewpoints. Bush spokesman Tony Snow once famously answered one of her questions with, “Thank you for the Hezbollah view”.

She was a pioneer in breaking barriers for women. The Guardian reported:

At a time when US news media confined most female journalists to writing about cookery, fashion and “women’s interests”, Helen Thomas was one of the doughtiest warriors to storm the absurd barricade. Thomas, who has died aged 92, became a national icon as the senior correspondent at the White House for United Press International (UPI), with the privilege of saying to US leaders from John F Kennedy onwards, “Thank you, Mr President”, signalling that the press (and the television audience) had heard quite enough.

She was so hard on George W. Bush that he shut her out of his press conferences, refusing for three years to call on her for a question. When Barack Obama became president, he called on her during his first White House press conference, acknowledging that it was a risk.  He was not disappointed.

After three years of enforced silence, Thomas asked the new president about Israel’s nuclear arsenal, a topic which by tacit agreement is off limits to media and politicians. The policy of “deliberate ambiguity”  is followed, allowing Israel to keep their nukes a company secret.  Meanwhile, Israel continues to make demands on other Middle East countries to reveal all regarding their efforts to build their own nuclear arsenal.

Obama dodged the nuke question.

The Post headline was descriptive: “Helen Thomas, feisty scourge of presidents,  dies at 92″.

She died just as the latest round of Israeli-Palestinian peace talks are launched with little chance of success. We need more “feisty scourges” like Helen Thomas in the White House press room.

Top US General, “US is Preparing “Kinetic Strikes” against Syria

By Christof Lehmann (nsnbc)

YouTube – Veterans Today –

[Editorial note:  The actual statements made by General Dempsey totally contradict what is written here.  Dempsey is misquoted and his intent is puposefully “spun.” He replies to McCain, “about the use of kinetic strikes?

That issue is under deliberation inside of our agencies of government and it would be inappropriate for me to try to influence the decision with me rendering an opinion in public about what kind of force we should use. . . .

I will let this committee know what my recommendations are at the appropriate time” (General Martin Dempsey, Chairman, JCOS)]

My thanks to Gordon Duff for catching my blunder. I assumed that the author had it right. After reviewing the video, however, I was wrong. General Dempsey is on the right side of this issue, unlike McCain. I should have double-checked. Jim Fetzer

We seem to have the only real “fact checking” organization in journalism.

The United States highest-ranking military officer, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Martin Dempsey, has said that the USA is deliberating whether it should or should not use military force in Syria, and that various scenarios, including “kinetic strikes” are being prepared.

The information correlates with recent intelligence, according to which US Special Forces in Jordan are training “rebels” for ground assistance during U.S. air raids against high profile military and political targets in Syria. A major, internationally backed, political and military campaign against Syria is expected in August and September.

During a hearing at the U.S. Senate´s Armed Services Committee on Thursday, the U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Martin Dempsey, said that the Obama administration is preparing various scenarios for a possible U.S. military intervention in Syria, and considering whether the USA should use “the brute of the U.S. military, and kinetic strikes”.  “The issue”, said Gen. Dempsey, “is under deliberation inside of our agencies of government”.

Preparations for a possible attack against Syria reportedly began after the use of chemical weapons in the Khan al-Assal district of Aleppo on 5 March 2013, killed at least 25 and injured more than 100.

Despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, and despite having received an 800 pages, official report from a Russian expert commission who investigated at the scene, and who had samples analyzed in internationally recognized laboratories, the Obama administration continues issuing blanketing accusations against the Syrian government.

Another PR strategy used by the U.S. Administration as well as by British and French officials, who state that the only way to bring about “regime change in Syria is a military intervention”, is to merely report the number of killed and injured, without addressing that there is an overwhelming amount of evidence that substantiates the Russian and Syrian statements, that is, that it were the foreign-backed insurgents who had used chemical weapons.

Thus, Ben Rhodes, President Obama´s Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications said:

The intelligence community estimates that 100 to 150 people have died from detected chemical weapons attacks in Syria to date; however, casualty data is likely incomplete.”

The Obama administration has previously stated, that the use of chemical weapons would be a “red line” and trigger an intervention. Other U.S. officials have recently reiterated, that it is not unlikely, that the U.S.A. would implement a no-fly-zone above Syria, using Jordanian air bases.

Officially, the United States has deployed 800 troops in Jordan. Jordanian Members of Parliament however, have complained that the number of U.S. troops in Jordan is significantly higher than 1000.

The Deputy Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, Khalil Atiya expressed his concerns about the increased presence of U.S. troops in Jordan, saying:

” As deputies, representing the Jordanian people, we do not accept the United States or any other country´s troops in Jordan. Jordanians do not think that Syria could pose a threat”.

On 29 June, nsnbc international published information from a Palestinian intelligence source, according to which 300 of the U.S. troops, which are stationed in and near the Jordanian – Syrian border city of al-Mafraq are special forces, who are training foreign insurgents in special operations.

Special operations are reportedly being prepared with the intention to target high-profile political and military targets in Syria, in support of a major military push against Syria in August and September.

The Palestinian intelligence source also reported to nsnbc, that the foreign-backed insurgents in Syria were preparing arms caches throughout Syria , in preparation of a major military campaign in August and September. The source stated, that large-scale chemical weapons attacks should be used as a pretext for calls for the implementation of a no-fly-zone, the establishment of humanitarian corridors, and ultimately, a foreign military intervention.

The Syrian Arab Army seized more than 200 barrels with chemicals from insurgents at a farm in Banias, Tartus.

The intelligence was corroborated in an nsnbc report published on 10 July, after the Syrian Armed Forces seized 208 barrels with chemicals from foreign-backed insurgents on a farm in Banias, near the Syrian city of Tartus at the Eastern Mediterranean coast.

Official Syrian government sources reported that the Armed Forces had seized 79 barrels of Polyethylene Glycol, 67 barrels of Monoethylene Glocol, 25 barrels of Monoethanolamine, 68 barrels of Diethanolamine, and 42 barrels of Triethanolamine at the farm in Banias.

The Syrian UN Ambassador Bashar Ja´afari said:

“The Syrian authorities have discovered yesterday, in the city of Banias, 281 barrels filled with dangerous, hazardous chemical materials, capable of destroying a whole city, if not the whole country”.

Only days later, on 14 July, nsnbc published a report, after another depot with chemicals was seized from insurgents in a Damascus suburb. Some of the chemicals were from Saudi-Arabia.

On 16 July, nsnbc published a report that implicates the United States in the trafficking of the internationally banned nerve agent Sarin from Libya.

The Sarin, which was originally manufactured in Germany, had first been sold to Iraq, where after it was sold to Libya. In Libya it had fallen into the hands of U.S. backed insurgents during the war on Libya in 2011. The Sarin was then shipped from Libya to Syria and delivered to foreign-backed insurgents there.

The statement by the United States Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Martin Dempsey, at the U.S. Senate´s Armed Services Committee on Thursday, that the U.S. is “preparing kinetic strikes against Syria” strongly corroborates the intelligence nsnbc received, according to which the large scale use of chemical weapons by the insurgents in August and September is being prepared with the explicit purpose to justify calls for a military intervention, which is a euphemism for open war against Syria.

Moreover, the information that U.S. special forces are training insurgents in ground operations in support of air raids against high profile military and political targets in Syria indicates, that the U.S.A. is actively preparing the attempt to decapitate the Syrian military and political leadership in August or September, after which an invasion with ground troops would be justified by claiming, that chemical weapons had fallen into the hands of “terrorists”.

The Zionist Regime and the IsraHell-Run NSA Busted (Part III)

“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized”—Fourth Amendment[1]

…by Jonas E. Alexis

We have already seen over and over that the NSA’s covert operation stemmed from the Israelis—and most probably from the Mossad.[2] Yet even after it has been shown that the NSA violated basic human rights and civil liberties, the government continues to spy on you:

“A secret U.S. intelligence court renewed an order Friday to continue forcing Verizon Communications to turn over hundreds of millions of telephone records to the government each day in its search for foreign terror or espionage suspects.

“Other major U.S. telephone carriers are similarly ordered to give records of their customers’ calls to the NSA, which also is able to reach into the data streams of U.S. companies such as Yahoo, Facebook Inc., Microsoft Corp., Google Inc. and others, and grab emails, video chats, pictures and more.”[3]

The British newspaper The Independent has recently pointed out that Google has a major project that will be implemented in the future. This project is quite congruent with the NSA’s spying program.

Google’s “goal is to insert a chip inside your head for the most effortless search engine imaginable. Some will find this prospect exciting. Others might want to call for Dick Tracy. The first stage of this new level of intimacy is Google Glass…”[4]

And when companies such as Google, Apple, Facebook, among others, get caught by people like Snowden, they want to start “sending” the government letters asking for disclosure.[5] Why they didn’t do this long before Snowden exposed them is beyond my comprehension. Are they implicitly saying that they signed contracts with the government and they never knew what those contracts encompassed? Smart people who operate worldwide companies like Google and Apple did not know what the government was doing? And we are supposed to believe this? How stupid can it be?

Keith Alexander

But director of the National Security Agency Keith Alexander complicates things a little when he said that those companies “don’t have a choice. Court order, they have to do this.”[6] The court “approves 99% of government requests for surveillance…”[7]

At the same time, the New York Times tells us the “NSA imposes rules to protect secret data stored on its networks.”[8] Another article states that “in secret, court vastly broadens powers of NSA.”[9]

That always comes with the pathetic rationalization that the government is fighting against terrorism.[10]Yet according to the State Department itself, only 10 Americans were killed by terrorism in 2012, and not one of those incidents happened in the U.S.![11]

More bad news: 9 out of 10 of those Americans were killed in Afghanistan, where Obama has been dropping drones in civilian populated areas! Does it really take a genius to see that the so-called counter-terrorism business has really no legitimate reason to exist?

The NSA and the Zionist establishment create terrorism and tell the American people that they are fighting terrorism. Recently the Washington Post has stated that the “U.S. military drone surveillance is expanding to hot spots beyond declared combat zones.”[12]

Last March, a poll conducted by the University of Minnesota showed that the vast majority of the American people do not want to be killed by drones. The New Yorker stated,

“The poll, which has a margin of error of plus or minus five percentage points, showed that ninety-seven per cent of those surveyed ‘strongly agreed’ with the statement, ‘I personally do not want to be killed by a drone,’ with three per cent responding, ‘Don’t know/No opinion.’”[13]

Pakistani protesters

It has been indicated that U.S. drones have killed 80 percent civilians in Pakistan.[14] There’s more:

“A study at Stanford and New York University titled ‘Living Under Drones’ claimed that only two percent of drone strike casualties in Pakistan are top militants, and that the large number of related civilian deaths turn Pakistanis against the US.”[15]

The vast majority of Americans do not want to be killed by drones in the U.S., but the vast majority of Americans have not really made their voice heard about the U.S. killing children and innocent people in places like Pakistan.

Since the Zionist gangsters have already convinced the American people that they are dropping drones in the name of fighting terrorism, “most Americans approve of foreign drone strikes.”[16]

Yet when it was announced that Obama was trying to gain power to use drone strikes to kill Americans on U.S. soil,[17] the vast majority of Americans basically say that the government has no right to do so,[18] despite the fact that Eric Holder pathetically tried to argue that drone strike on U.S. soil would be legal.[19]

In a small town called Deer Trail, Colorado, people were even “considering a measure that would allow its residents to hunt for federal drones and shoot them down.” One resident, Phillip Steel, told CNN: “Is it illegal? Of course it is. But it’s also illegal to spy on American citizens.”[20]

What is even more laughable is that somehow we cannot figure out why people in Pakistan hate us! You kill hundreds upon hundreds of their children and then you expect them to love you! The Zionists have locked the American people into this kind of matrix for far too long.

As John Glaser rightly points out,

“Instead of tormenting Afghans in a military occupation that costs more than $120 billion per year; instead of empowering the NSA to snuff out the Fourth Amendment and collect and store the communications of all Americans; instead of wasting almost $1 trillion annually on defense spending mostly as a wealth transfer to rent-seeking corporations; instead of granting the president the kingly power to assassinate anyone, anywhere, at any time – maybe we just shouldn’t go to the above-mentioned countries. Then our terrorism casualty rate will be zero.”[21]

According to the NSA’s weltanschauung, terrorism is in the entire world and the job of the United States is to monitor virtually everyone on this planet! If this is too radical, listen to the Atlantic:

“As an aside during testimony on Capitol Hill today, a National Security Agency representative rather casually indicated that the government looks at data from a universe of far, far more people than previously indicated.”[22]

By spying on millions of Americans, what NSA agents end up implicitly saying is that every American is a suspected terrorist! What’s even more interesting, “a single NSA wiretap could lead to snooping on ‘2.5 million Americans.”

Here’s how it works, “when the NSA requests justification for tapping a “suspected terrorist,” they can also tap that suspect’s contacts, then their contacts, and the contacts of their contacts.”[23]

This is called a “three-hop analysis.”[24] Geoffrey Ingersoll of Business Insider writes,

“Theoretically, at that rate it would take tapping only about 150 suspected terrorists could cover the entire population of the United States.”[25]

The United States government, under the leadership of the Israelis, surely believes that there are more than 150 terrorists in the United States. In other words, the Zionist regime will continue to spy on virtually every single American.

We have certainly reached an intolerable situation. The United States gives Israel at least $3 billion every year, and they obviously use that money to build a spying operation to snoop on Americans! Moreover, they have propagated the lie that they were spying on Americans to protect lives.

In the process, 66 percent of Americans ended up believing that “the Obama administration was right to gather and analyze information from major internet companies to help locate suspected terrorists.”[26] Not only that, Army General Keith Alexander, “the world’s largest intelligence agency,” who also lied about the NSA and who obviously is an indirect Israeli shill, wants to control virtually every activity that goes on the Internet. Business Insider reported,

“In his telling, the threat is so mind-bogglingly huge that the nation has little option but to eventually put the entire civilian Internet under his protection, requiring tweets and emails to pass through his filters, and putting the kill switch under the government’s forefinger.

“‘What we see is an increasing level of activity on the networks,’ he said at a recent security conference in Canada. ‘I am concerned that this is going to break a threshold where the private sector can no longer handle it and the government is going to have to step in.’”[27]

The article moves on to say, “Alexander has asked for nearly $4.7 billion in additional funding in 2014 alone to further bolster the United States’ ‘cyberspace operations.’[28] At the same time, Detroit plans to cut pensions because they do not have enough funding.

“Detroit’s pension shortfall accounts for about $3.5 billion of the $18 billion in debts that led the city to file for bankruptcy last week. How it handles this problem — of not enough money set aside to pay the pensions it has promised its workers — is being closely watched by other cities with fiscal troubles. Kevyn D. Orr, the city’s emergency manager, has called for “significant cuts” to the pensions of current retirees”[29]

You work for your entire life and try to support your family. Now you are retired. How would you like to know that you pensions are going to get cut? How would you like to know that your money is indirectly supporting covert operations which are linked to the Israeli Mossad?

Governor Rick Snyder of Michigan said of those retirees, “You’ve got to have great empathy for them. These are hard-working people that are in retirement now — they’re on fixed incomes, most of them — and you look at this and say, ‘This is a very difficult situation…’ It’s not about just putting more money in a situation. It’s about better services to citizens again. It’s about accountable government.”[30]

Fasten your seatbelt, for it gets worse. The Post-Gazette reported back in 2008:

“Over the past seven years more than 1.5 million American troops have served in Afghanistan and Iraq. These men and women have served their nation with honor and distinction. Yet, there is growing evidence that our nation is failing to properly treat hundreds of thousands returning combat veterans, many of whom may end up homeless and on our streets.

“Faced with unforeseeable and anonymous threats in the forms of improvised explosive devices and car bombs, our combat troops today are subject to prolonged psychological stress different from previous conflicts. It should not be surprising to anyone that the costs of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars will continue for years to come.

“Unfortunately, our nation has not faced up to the needs of our returning troops and there is a looming crisis of homelessness among veterans.

“A recent study of soldiers who served in Iraq and Afghanistan conducted by a respected, independent research organization found that roughly 300,000 of our returning troops suffer from post traumatic stress disorder or severe depression.

“Shockingly, only half of our nation’s Veterans Affairs medical centers currently offer PTSD counseling and six of seven surveyed cannot handle their current case load.

“On any given night, 200,000 veterans, including 3,000 who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, are living on the streets of our nation. At some point during this coming year, 400,000 men and women who served this nation in uniform will experience homelessness. Approximately one of four homeless men are veterans, making veterans seven times more likely to be homeless than their civilian counterparts.”[31]

How can the United States continue to give billions of dollars to Israel while our precious citizens and decent veterans are begging for bread on the streets? How can the Israelis continue to snoop on us while we make them rich?

If this is not diabolical in its metaphysical sense,  then nothing is. In a nutshell, this Mephistophelian system is already beginning to lead the average American into a state of literal servitude:

“Retired city workers, police officers and 911 operators said in interviews that the promise of reliable retirement income had helped draw them to work for the City of Detroit in the first place, even if they sometimes had to accept smaller salaries or work nights or weekends.”[32]

Samsung and the CIA
With respect to monitoring the entire world, some interesting things are happening with South Korea’s biggest cell phone company, Samsung:

“Samsung is close to signing a deal to sell its popular line of Galaxy devices to the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation, sources familiar with the situation said on Friday.

“The deal would be a boost for Samsung, which is increasingly seeking to cater to the needs of government agencies, a niche long dominated by Canadian smartphone maker BlackBerry Ltd.”[33]

This is quite congruent with the nefarious plan that the Zionist regime is trying to control the entire world. We have already seen in two previous articles that the NSA is the grandchild of the Israelis. In their Mephistophelian goal to police virtually all the major countries in the world, The NSA has worked with illegitimate children such as Google, Yahoo, etc.

As we saw in another article, Germany has fallen into the same trap. Der Spiegel declared that Germany, since 2012 and probably beyond that period, was willing “to take risks and to pursue new opportunities for cooperation with the US.”[34] And anyone who deviates from the Zionist plan will get squashed:

“US Secretary of State John Kerry has reportedly promised his Venezuelan counterpart to close NATO airspace to the country’s flights and stop crucial oil product deliveries if Caracas grants asylum to NSA leaker Edward Snowden.”[35]

Edward Snowden: Whistleblower or Traitor?

A good case can be made that Snowden is protected by international law.

“The UN High Commissioner for Refugees’ Handbook on Procedures and Criteria for Determining Refugee Status under the UN Convention states that a crime should be considered political if ‘it has been committed out of genuine political motives and not merely for personal reasons or gain’ and there is ‘a close and direct causal link between the crime committed and its alleged political purpose and object.’”[36]

Snowden has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.[37] Stefan Svallfors, a Swedish sociology professor , wrote a letter to the Norwegian Nobel Committee praising Snowden for his “heroic effort at great personal cost.”

Snowden’s bold courage, Svallfors continues, shows that “individuals can stand up for fundamental rights and freedoms. This example is important because since the Nuremberg trials in 1945 has been clear that the slogan ‘I was just following orders’ is never claimed as an excuse for acts contrary to human rights and freedoms,”[38]

Svallfors moves on to say that honoring Snowden with the Prize would “help to save the Nobel Peace Prize from the disrepute incurred by the hasty and ill-conceived decision to award US President Barack Obama 2009 award.”[39]

Stefan Svallfors

A valid point. Obama got a Nobel Peace Prize prematurely. Within a few months of his presidency, he started dropping drones in civilian populated areas.

Many people have said that it is very unlikely that Snowden will get a Nobel Prize. “The head of the International Committee of the Russian State Duma Aleksey Pushkov has also argued that the US won’t let Nobel Peace Prize go to Snowden. ‘Not in a million years will the United States allow Snowden to get the Peace Prize. But his nomination is significant. Many in the West see him as a champion of democracy,’ he tweeted on Monday.”

What Pushkov is indirectly and implicitly saying is that much of the world would have liked to award Snowden with the Prize, but the Zionist regime will not allow that to happen.

I agree with former CIA officer Philip Giraldi that Edward Snowden is not a traitor.[40] Even Sarah Palin, one of Zionism’s cheerleaders and noisemakers, declared that Snowden is not the real problem—it is “Orwellian” state that is the problem.[41] What Palin did not tell her listeners was that this “Orwellian” state was fully at work during the Bush administration. Listen to this:

“Months after the Sept. 11 attacks, President Bush secretly authorized the National Security Agency to eavesdrop on Americans and others inside the United States to search for evidence of terrorist activity without the court-approved warrants ordinarily required for domestic spying, according to government officials.

“Under a presidential order signed in 2002, the intelligence agency has monitored the international telephone calls and international e-mail messages of hundreds, perhaps thousands, of people inside the United States without warrants over the past three years in an effort to track possible ‘dirty numbers’ linked to Al Qaeda, the officials said….

“While many details about the program remain secret, officials familiar with it say the N.S.A. eavesdrops without warrants on up to 500 people in the United States at any given time. The list changes as some names are added and others dropped, so the number monitored in this country may have reached into the thousands since the program began, several officials said. Overseas, about 5,000 to 7,000 people suspected of terrorist ties are monitored at one time, according to those officials.”[42]

We have already seen that spying on nearly 150 people can ultimately lead to spying on virtually American. In other words, there is no difference between Obama and Bush.

The simple question is this: why didn’t Palin say something about Bush’s covert operation? Bush’s spying machine was known to virtually every elected politician. In 2003, the New York Timespublished an article entitled, “Big Brother Is Tracking You. Without Warrant.”[43]

Bill O’Reilly, like Palin, wants us to believe that he was not aware of Bush’s covert operation. When Snowden began to expose the NSA, Reilly rightly declared that

“‘somebody’s got to be prosecuted’ if the National Security Agency is monitoring email content. ‘This PRISM program should be shut down immediately. If it’s not, a class action suit should be filed and the Supreme Court should hear it as quickly as it can. You can’t just seize everything and say you’re doing so to try and root out terrorism. You have to have probable cause to violate the privacy of Americans.’”[44]

Reilly moved on to cite the Fourth Amendment in his defense.
I am in complete agreement with Reilly here, but is Reilly really that blind? Does he mean to tell us that he knew nothing about the NSA until Snowden deconstructed the Zionist Kingdom?

The answer lies in the fact that both Palin and Reilly, like Obama, are Zionist puppets. Reilly knows too well that the moment he mentions Israel as the culprit behind the NSA, his job as a loud-mouthed TV host and political commentator on Fox News would be over.

“Let’s put a smile on that face”

In 2008, Palin met former Israeli president Shimon Perez, whom she called “my old friend.” After a warm handshake, Palin quickly got to the point:

“I wanted to meet you for many years. The only flag at my office is an Israeli flag, and I want you to know and I want Israelis to know that I am a friend.”[45]

Jewish Republicans declared at the time that having the Israeli flag in her own office helped Palin a great deal. Matt Brooks, executive director of the Republican Jewish Coalition, declared then,

“I think it is extremely telling that if you are looking to get some insights into how people think, we came across a video of an interview that was done in Alaska, some sort of outdoors program. Some guy interviewing her as she was climbing up glaciers or something like that.

“Part of the interview took place in the governor’s office in Juneau. What was really telling is that in one point in the interview there was a close up of her and you can see over her shoulder there was a flag of Israel in her window.

“I can assure all of you that is not done to appease the extraordinarily large Jewish community in Juneau. The fact that she has chosen to keep a flag of Israel on her wall tells her she has Israel in her heart.”[46]

In other words, Palin got hired as Alaska’s governor, but ideologically she didn’t really have America or the American people in her heart. Her heart belonged to Israel, despite the fact that the state of Alaska only has a tiny Jewish population.[47] Her words bear repeating: “The only flag at my office is an Israeli flag.”

Dick Cheney and the NSA

Dick Cheney has come out and supported the NSA program.[48] Cheney also said that Snowden is a traitor.[49]

“The pen is truly mightier than the sword”

Perhaps Palin and O’Reilly, if they are really serious, need to tell Cheney to shut up. If they cannot do that, then it is just another piece of evidence that shows that both the Republican and the Democratic parties are two sides of the same coin when it comes to protecting their Israeli bosses and spying on Americans.[50]

Some republicans are infuriated about the NSA program, but they are not brave enough to say that the Israelis are behind the program. Those people are simply forgetting a basic principle: you cannot talk about King Kong without the monkey!

My message to Snowden is simply this: hang in there. You may lose your life in the end, but you have shown the entire world that the Zionist matrix is just a scam. People of reason and of courage are supporting you!

To people of reason: it must be reiterated that the West is outnumbered by the Zionist power, but that is no reason to despair. People of reason should continue to proclaim truth, no matter what the cost, and one day the Zionist power will crumble.

Snowden first recruited Glenn Greenwald of the Guardian, and Greenwald is on the brink of publishing more revelation about the NSA. Greenwald will be writing a book on Snowden and the NSA,[51] and I am sure that it will be a great read.

Like Snowden, Greenwald feels that his life is threatened. He declared that he felt “threatened in the sense that there are very prominent American politicians and even American journalists who have called for my arrest, who have called me a criminal. There’s a very robust CIA presence where I work, in Rio de Janeiro.”[52]

Light in the Zionist Shadow

Recently, it was quite interesting to read CNN itself saying that Netanyahu has been lying to the West for the past 20 years about Iran’s nuclear program. At one point in the article, it stated that “Mr. Netanyahu badly needs a new set of talking points.”[53]

Some commentators wrote of the same article: “The threat Israel poses to the world is unique”; “There is no question Israel poses the biggest threat to peace, fully accepted by all.”[54]

If CNN can bring itself to say something like that, what will it take for the vast majority of the American people to wake up from the Zionist dream?

Who Will Really Win Egypt’s Revolution?

Will Egypt’s revolution be stolen again?

Note: It is always a pleasure to be able to look back with 20/20 vision on what has occurred. But today I take you back to this July 8th article to measure the analysis after two weeks. One of the things missed was predicting the militant attacks in the Sinai, but looking back on it that was logical as the Camp David Agreement prohibited the Egyptian army moving more troops in without Israeli permission.

… by  Jim W. Dean, VT Editor     … with Press TV

Who will be leading when the dust finally settles?

I have watched with growing fear the aftermath of the Egyptian Army and people’s revolt against Morsi’s Muslim Brotherhood as it scrambles to place interim leaders who can present a united front to the Egyptian people and avoid descending into civil war.

Much of the Egypt analysis coming in so far is biased by whatever side the writers happen to be supporting and of little value to us as we have been aware of the ideological disputes.

What we need to be looking at now is who internally in Egypt is responsible for what has happened, where certainly one of the options is both sides, and then have certain foreign players played a key role or distant one.

There is the usual ‘the US is running the whole show’ side. This of course is somewhat validated by the annual support to the Egyptian military. But we must not forget that this was the military, despite America’s standing with Mubarak until almost the end, that went over to the people when they saw he was toast. By siding with the people they saved their own domestic respect, credibility, and privileges.

Michel Chossudovsky poses that the US is manipulating both sides and uses a quote to support the claim:

“US Defense Secretary Hagel and US Chief of Staff General Martin Dempsey were walking a fine line expressing concern while attempting to avoid the impression that the US was manipulating events behind the scene.”

But an obvious omission here by Chossudovsky is that the US military does not make policy, and peep to peer communications in all situations of turbulence are quite normal. To cast them undoubtedly as evidence of control and manipulation is a stretch. The Army obviously made the call as it was their behinds on the line if Tahrir Two turns into a debacle.

Kevin Barrett also feels that the Morsi overthrow was a US covert coup, detailing a long history of the tactic being used. Constant involvement in other countries affairs always exposes you to blame for anything that happens there that no one likes.

You end up with ‘anti-American’ feelings (or more of them) which could have been avoided simply by keeping a distance. Our Founding Fathers warned us about this but America has lost its way in this regard.

Edward Peck, former US ambassador to Iraq, and with top sources in Washington. weighed in on the opposite side. “I think that the government of the United States is a little bit confused about what to do… I think anyone who believes that the U.S. or any other country can direct the events in Egypt is badly mistaken.”

The handshake that worked for everybody but the Palestinians

I will now jump in here with the caveat that I have no crystal ball but will try to add some dispassionate analysis and some new input from other sources.

Foreign Minister Hague recently said, that Britain planned to work with the interim government “as a practical matter” as many British citizens and businesses are in Egypt and international life must go on during these political turmoils.

The same goes for the US. We obviously were working with the Morsi government and it should come as no surprise that holding fast to the Camp David Accords would be a top priority. It would be naive to think otherwise.

American support for Israel is not going to disappear overnight based on what happens in another country, but only after a long hard fight back here at home where we clean out of the Lobby infiltrators, subversives and their fellow travelers.

The world has watched the continuing political/religious struggle inside Egypt for a variety of reasons as Tahrir One was an historic event. The Muslim Brotherhood came in on the tail end of that. The young people had initiated and carried the revolution on their own shoulders through the most difficult and dangerous period, with the Army finally joining in to tip the tide.

Muslim Brotherhood still holing out for a return of Morsi. They will see Santa Claus first.

So the MB had no problem with the people and the army teaming up to remove a democratically elected government when it paved the way for their possibly realizing their dream of running Egypt as an Islamic state.

The current showdown began in earnest with the second year anniversary of the 2011 revolution in late January.

Morsi had already burned bridges with the opposition with his decree that none of his presidential edicts could be reversed by the courts, which earned him the nickname the “New Pharaoh.” The opposition became more outspoken and called for removal of the ‘dictatorship’ and trials of its top figures, which we might still see.

Tensions flared with the famous Salafi cleric Mahmoud Shaaban being arrested for inciting violence against NSF leaders when he said on February 2nd that for their [NSF] wanting to get rid of the Morsi government that “it was clear that their sentence in God’s law was death.” That was waving a red flag in front of the army.

The Army stood by, not interfering. But it did attempt to cool things down with Army Chief of Staff Sedki Sobhi’s warning, “It [the military] keeps an eye on what goes on in the nation and if the Egyptian people ever needed the armed forces, they will be in the streets in less than a second.”

If I had been advising Morsi, I would have asked him to take that threat very seriously and do nothing to trigger the army doing what they had already done in 2011… help get rid of an unpopular corrupt leader if a similar public demand arose.

The International Crisis Group noticed a dangerous shift in the political climate:

“In the absence of a shared view of the foundations of a future political system, Islamists are pressing their vision, while their opponents play spoilers.

This has the makings of a self-fulfilling prophecy: the more the opposition obstructs and calls for Morsi’s ouster, the more it validates the Islamists’ conviction it will never recognize their right to govern; the more the Brotherhood charges ahead, the more it confirms the others’ belief of its monopolistic designs over power.”

Morsi responded, battening down the hatches by solidifying his brotherhood support through more aggressive patronage for the Brotherhood. The economy was ignored. And when the Tamarod Egyptian Youth movement organized in April and quickly pulled 15 million anti-Morsi regime signatures together, Morsi made a fatal mistake in being dismissive of the movement.

He responded with an attempted diversion campaign of his own with the over response to the Ethiopian dam project that had been in the works two decades… to the point of even threatening military action. The army was watching, and listening.

Morsi over played his hand by making no concessions

Morsi really shot himself in the both feet when he closed the Syrian embassy and literally began helping recruit Egyptians to go fight with the Syrian rebel terrorists.

Maybe he was trying to solidify his Qatari backing. Without the loaned gold from them, the Saudis and Turkey in the central bank, Morsi would not even had the gas fumes he had been running the country on.

The US was not asleep at the wheel during all this and saw the storm clouds coming. The military had established a record of non interference but also giving solid warnings about when it would come out of the barracks. I cannot view the Obama administration’s communications as manipulation because they had no idea for sure what Morsi was going to do.

He might have made major changes to his cabinet to defuse the situation, or, even agreed to early elections to seek a new mandate. The US took what is called a ‘straddle situation’…maintaining contact with both sides.

The US ambassador Jane Patterson, to pre-empt the beginning of the June 30th demonstrations, gave a supporting speech for the Morsi regime which not only inflamed the opposition anger at Washington, but has them calling for her dismissal now.

She said that she and the US government were “deeply skeptical that street action will produce better results than elections.” This was a very strange position for her to take as new elections were basically what the street demonstrations were for. Patterson continued:

“Egypt needs stability to get its economic house in order, and more violence on the streets will do little more than add new names to the lists of martyrs,” she said in a June 18 speech. “Instead, I recommend Egyptians get organized. Join or start a political party that reflects your values and aspirations.”

Meanwhile, the Pentagon was talking to the Egyptian military to get assurances that if they did step in that an interim government would be set up quickly with new elections as soon as possible. The concern for this was that American aid could continue and the situation diffused with the military not taking power into their own hands.

In late June, Defense Minister Abdel Fattah al-Sisi stated that, “The military’s patriotic and moral responsibility toward its people compels it to intervene to keep Egypt from sliding into a dark tunnel of conflict, internal fighting, criminality, accusations of treason, sectarian discord and the collapse of state institutions.”

Even El Baradei had to compromise to keep momentum going

Morsi rejected all accommodations. All he would agree to do is engage in more talks. With the Tamarod group’s petition up to 22 million signature and an estimated of 30 million people ready to hit the streets the bow string was pulled, and that would not be stopped just to continue talking. Morsi froze up, and events overtook him.

But the end game is still way up in the air. The ElBaradei interim Prime Minister appointment was fumbled as being divisive within the opposition ranks when they must present a united front.

Putin is concerned about civil war in Egypt with a potential outcome like Syria. But while I also think there is the potential of one starting, the Egyptian Army will end it in less than two years I assure you.

Are their parties who could want a civil war in Egypt… the mother of all destabilizes? Yes, of course. But I would hope that Egyptians would realize that to be a lose, lose situation.

If I had a crystal ball I would take a peek to see, but alas I do not. Good outcomes take hard work, good leadership and a population with good common sense.

We shall hope for the best for the long suffering Egyptian people, but at least maybe the Syrian people will be spared the Egyptian Salafis coming to be trained as terrorists and cannibals in their country.
