Syrian Spies Working Inside Embassies in Damascus for the US & The West

June 29, 2015 QatarSyriaTurkeyUSA Leave a comment

‘What is happening in Syria is a world war to destroy Syria to redraw the world map, divide Russia and start a civil war in China’ – Wikileaks founder Julian Assange quoted.

Wikileaks leaked documents from the CIA and the US State Department revealed the full details of the conspiracy against Syria and how it was planned.

The documents described the methods of organizing spies in Syria through Google Maps during a conference in Zurich in 2010.

Organizing the spies started since 26 March 2009 with finance by the CIA.. Those youths worked on selecting the best suitable locations for sit-ins and protests and the more suitable military sites where controlling is easier.

The world in Syria

The world in SyriaThe spies work was also dependent on making precise coordination for intelligence officers to be spied on their communications through satellites.Documents add that some of these spies still receive their salaries until today and some of them are still living in Damascus.Other documents confirmed that the plot to invade Syria started since 2001 when the US regime was keen on hiring Syrian youths in embassies and consulates with high salaries and most of these young men and young women were having connections to security agencies and information was taken from them in a way some didn’t realize it. The US regime was buying huge quantities of laptops to be distributed among groups it created. The documents also pointed to the movement of US submarine USS Philadelphia on the same date of the assassination of Brigadier Mohammad Sulaiman on 2nd of August 2008 after which the submarine moved to Turkish coast with full cooperation with the Turkish and Isreali secret services.

As for Lebanese Arsal town, the documents confirm it is one of the most important sites for the war against Syria and it has weapons depots being prepared since 2008.

Leaked documents also exposed hundreds of correspondents that prove a high coordination between the US regime, Qatari Hamad and the Turkish Erdogan since 2006 to befriend the Syrian president, figure out his residence and to become closer to him to reveal all of the Syrian Army plans under the guise of assisting in financing both the SAA and the Lebanese resistance.

Some documents confirm the role of the Iranian opposition group MEK (Mojahedin-e-Khalq) in infiltrating Dara’a city, south of Syria in the year 2011 killing dozens of civilians posing as Iranian Revolutionary Guards with the assistance of terrorists from Al-Qaeda Iraq.

Among the information found in the documents leaked there’s a part that Qatari Hamad bought a plot of land opposite the headquarters of the 4th Armored Division in the SAA Republican Guards near Damascus to build a palace for himself there in order to monitor the movements and communications of the Division’s commanders.

The US regime has sent many messages to the Syrian president Dr. Bashar Assad with the Qatari Hamad to bargain with him to let go the support to the Lebanese resistance and its leader Sayyed Hassan Nassrallah for billions of US dollars, but the Syrian president was rejecting to pass on any information or give any concession and all the requests were answered by him with a smile.

Pakistan: RAW Terrorized Zimbabwe Cricket Team

By Sajjad Shaukat

Coupled with hostile propaganda campaign, India has continuously been arranging various acts

of terrorism like suicide attacks, bomb blasts, targeted killings and sectarian violence in

Baluchistan, Khyber Paktunkhwa, Sindh and Karachi including other regions of Pakistan through

its secret agency, RAW which has also terrorized the Zimbabwe cricket team to cancel its trip to

In this regard, on June 23, this year, Punjab Home Minister Shuja Khanzada disclosed to the

members of the Punjab Assembly that Indian intelligence agency RAW sent a text message to

the manger of Zimbabwean cricket team in Dubai threatening them with “possibility of terrorism

in Pakistan and cancellation of tour”.

He revealed that the message received by the team manager was finally tracked down and it was

found that it had come from New Delhi and that RAW was behind this conspiracy to malign

Pakistan. He elaborated that India wanted that cricket series should be cancelled, so that

Pakistan’s image could be tarnished abroad, but all-out security was assured to the Zimbabwean

cricket team to foil nefarious designs of India.

The minister further pointed out that the biggest challenge for Pakistani law-enforcement

agencies including the police was to ensure security of cricket series which was restored by the

ICC after a lapse of six years, thanking LEAs for protecting the foreign team and helping

conduct the five-match series successfully.

He maintained that international agencies including RAW were responsible for 90 percent of the

However, Zimbabwe cricket authorities confirmed that Pakistan’s tour would go ahead as per

schedule, while foolproof security was given to the team, during its trip to Pakistan, started from

May 22, 2015. Interior ministry directed the authorities to make strict security arrangements even

Both sides played cricket matches—two twenty internationals on May 22 and 24, followed by

three one day internationals on May 26, 29 and 31, in Qaddafi Stadium Lahore. By setting aside

the RAW supported phenomenon of terrorism in wake of severe heat, thousands of persons went

to see the cricket matches at Qaddafi Stadium.

It is notable that revival of international cricket after six years was a cheerful occasion for

everyone. In this context, a letter of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said, “Sports for peace is our

message, we feel pride in hosting Zimbabwe cricket team in the city”.

Nevertheless, while indicating Pakistan’s soft image in the comity of nations, it is a collective

responsibility of all of us to not only highlight Pakistan’s positive aspect in connection with

sports, but also give a message to the world through print, electronic and social media that

Pakistan is a safe country for sports. And, particularly, it will be a way forward for other

international cricket teams to play in Pakistan.

It is of particular attention that Indian RAW was also behind the Lahore terror-attack on Sri

Lanka’s cricket team, on March 3, 2009. In this respect, the bus of the Sri Lankan team was

targeted, killing eight and injuring nine individuals including six visiting cricketers.

It is mentionable that under the pretext of Mumbai carnage of November 26, 2008, India had

cancelled the scheduled visit of its cricket team to Pakistan, while Sri Lanka accepted the

invitation of Islamabad. Indian rulers and its media anchors had expressed their displeasure at

Colombo’s decision. Hence, New Delhi clandestinely pressurized Sri Lanka’s government to

withdraw the decision. It could be judged from the fact that even Sri Lankan sports minister

Gamini Lokuge disclosed that Pakistan “tour had become a diplomatic issue”. Its Foreign

minister Rohitha Bogollagama stated that he decided the trip, taking it as a sporting issue, as his

country promoted “people-to-people visits” among South Asian member states.

In fact, despite Indian duress coupled with a sense of jealousy, Sri Lanka remained determined

and sent its cricketers to Pakistan. So, New Delhi punished Colombo through pre-arranged

terror-attacks, conducted by well-trained and well-equipped terrorists of RAW. In this regard, it

is noteworthy that in 2009, by striking a blow to the Indian backed militants of the Liberation

Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) and by capturing their strongholds; Sri Lankan security forces

successfully dismantled the Tigers’ mini-state in northern Sri Lanka where the rebels lost 98

percent of the territory, and were retreating even from their last bastion. On March 7, 2009, Sri

Lankan Foreign minister Rohitha Bogollagama, while showing solidarity with Islamabad,

categorically expressed Sri Lanka’s firm opposition to isolate Pakistan in the sporting arena or in

any manner internationally over the incident of March 3, 2009.

Indian awkward strategy of mixing politics and sports is totally strange. Whether Indian team

plays with Pakistan or that of Sri Lanka or the latter with our team has positive impact in

restoring peace in South Asia, but regrettably, it is only anti-Pakistan and anti-Sri Lanka agenda

of New Delhi whom politics and sports make no difference. And India seems determined to

sabotage South Asian peace by terrorizing the cricket teams which intend to visit Pakistan.

If non-state actors are problem for New Delhi, these take origin from its own state terrorism,

being perpetrated on minorities and the freedom fighters of its six states, fighting for

independence. Indian brutal tactics of state terrorism, employed on the innocent persons in the

Indian-occupied Kashmir might be noted as special example in this context. In such a situation,

New Delhi should not have seek revenge against Pakistan and Sri Lanka by conducting terrorist

acts through RAW-trained agents in order to divert its attention from Indian home-grown

terrorists. Facing reality, New Delhi must better unearth the forces behind the Mumbai attack and

Notably, on July 19, 2013, the Indian former home ministry and ex-investigating officer Satish

Verma revealed that terror-attacks in Mumbai in November 26, 2008 and assault on Indian

Parliament in January 12, 2001 were carried out by the Indian government to strengthen anti-

terrorism laws. But, Indian top officials and media had blamed Islamabad and a Pakistan-based

group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) for those attacks.

Nonetheless, RAW terrorized Zimbabwe cricket team by threatening the latter to sabotage

Pakistan’s tour, though this attempt badly failed.

DER’AH:  This was a major turning point and may herald the end of terrorism in Syria’s south.  We don’t know what the Jordanians are thinking, but, it cannot be something laced with much optimism.  The major assault on Der’ah, Syria’s southern gateway to the soft abdomen of the country, it’s heart, really, the capital city, has been demolished by a combination of the army’s personal valor, superb intelligence, new infantry tactics and aeronautical technology.  It all came together demonstrating the incontrovertible fact that the Syrian Army is now one of the world’s most capable – a fact not lost on the Zionist Settler State or its allies in the Wahhabist neanderthal Cuckoo Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  The Syrians have much to thank Russia and Iran for although none of this could have been accomplished without the resilience of our own soldiers and the battle-hardened officers who command them.  Russia’s unbending support for the morally correct position of the central government at the U.N.S.C. was key to preventing war criminals like Obama, Hollande and Cameron from inventing Libyan scenarios for Syria.  Russia also never faltered when we needed the advanced weapons so necessary in fighting the 21st Century terrorist.

Iran also provided weapons – often modified for the kind of warfare in which the Syrian Army was engaged.  Iran sent planeloads through Iraqi airspace, ships with heavy components and volunteers through the ports of Latakia and Tartous.  Iran’s shadow stretched mightily across the Fertile Crescent with a menacing silhouette which deterred all those who contemplated intervention.

Iraq also played a role in buttressing the power and durability of the central government.  Iraq never protested Iranian over-flights and never succumbed to constant American pressure to protest.  The Iraqis knew the story.  The Maliki and the Al-‘Abbaadi goverments all realized what was at stake: either bowing to Zionist provocation, or living with self-respect in your own neighborhood.  The Iraqis never had any doubt about Wahhabist machinations.  The fall of the Assad government meant obeisance to Saudi Arabia, it’s venomous doctrines of hate and its embracing a vacuous promise of an afterlife more akin to a cheap lunch break at the local Korean massage parlor.

City:  The Syrian Army and local militias have taken over an electric plant in the city killing over 30 rodents (4 were Jordanians and 2 Saudis) all of whom belonged to some endangered specie of rat call Kataa`ib Shuhadaa` Al-Hawraan.   3 pickups with 23mm cannons were destroyed along with 2 truck-carried missile launchers.

City:  At the Al-‘Umari Mosque, an all Nusra/Alqaeda grouping was given a big surprise when SAA Katyushas rained down fire on their 2 pickups with 23mm cannons and one truck armed with a missile launcher.  All vehicles were pulverized thanks to excellent spotting by locals.

Dam Road:  Another 2 pickups with cannons were destroyed when SAA-SF units surrounded them and delivered Kornet rockets.  The trucks were left abandoned.

Al-Naaziheen Refugee Camp:  The Firqat Al-Mu’tazz bi-Ilaah has departed the area for Jordan.  The losses to this group were, evidently, sufficient to make them irrelevant.

Al-Shaykh Hussein Summit:  This is reportedly a strategic position which has now been taken over by the SAA.  It’s in the northeast corner of Der’ah Province.

Al-Sultaaniyya Village:  Just liberated 18 hours ago by the SAA and PDC.

مصدر عسكري: تعاون أهالي درعا وريفها كان له دور كبير بإفشال عاصفة الجنوب

City at Jordan Avenue and Al-Tullaabiyya Square:  SAA and police killed 3 rodents and arrested several others.

Bi`r Al-Shiyyaah:  A van with 3 rats carrying weapons and ammunition was stopped and all passengers arrested.

الجيش يفشل محاولة مجموعات إرهابية الاعتداء على مدينة القنيطرة

Al-Nu’ayma:  The SAA struck pay dirt again with a precise targeting at the Green Mosque destroying a vehicle belonging to that same endangered specie of rat in Kataa`ib Al-Mu’tazz bi-Ilaah.  4 units of the group have reportedly departed the premises.

West and East Al-Ghaariyya:  SAA artillery and missiles struck a point identified precisely by MI where Harakat Ahraar Al-Shaam Al-Islamiyya terrorists were concentrated.  A pickup with 23mm cannon was destroyed.  No other details.

Rodent websites have announced the deaths of these fellow rats:

Muhammad Noor Al-Hareeri

Ahmad ‘Aatallaah Al-Saqr (Leader of Alwiyat Shuhadaa` Nawa.  Died under the care of Jordanteezian quacks at the Al-Ramtha Government Hospital)

He headed one of the most effective branches of the General Security Bureau and was a respected security officer.  Born in Hama Province, in the district of Misyaaf, Village of Al-Luqba, he was buried there yesterday with all the respect and honor appropriate for a man who has served his country since joining the army in 1961.  Abu-Waa’il, as he was called by his friends, died the day before yesterday at the Al-Shaami Hospital in Damascus after a long battle with cancer. Born on April 1, 1937, he was 78 years old.  For most of his professional life, he was an advisor to the late President, Air Force General Hafezh Al-Assad, and the present leader, Dr. Bashar Al-Assad.  His duties since the 70s have included direct communication with Iran and HZB.  At the time of his death and from 2007, he was Deputy Vice President for Security Affairs.   He is buried in the family plot in the village of his birth.  RIP

Freemason Revealed Greek Plot in 2008

stormAthens.530x298.jpgRothschild’s Secret “Solution” to Greek “Problem”

First Posted May 18, 2008

Greece was chosen to play the role of the European Union bankrupt member state in order to “create” the big problem to which the European Union is going to “find” the “solution,” a European superstate .
I don’t know if this scenario is going down or not. I repost this in case it is more relevant now than ever.

Deja Vu- Greek PM George Papandreou proposed a referendum to ratify aid agreement in Nov. 2011. It was cancelled when opposition parties signed on. I predict Greeks will vote for austerity deal as preferable to short term chaos of going it alone; Syriza government will fall. Hope I am wrong. They should have simply defaulted and introduced the Drachma.
by Jean D’Eau in Budapest(for

A friend of mine who is a now a disillusioned high ranking member of the Jewish Freemasonry in Budapest has told me what is coming regarding the Greek crisis.

Greece was chosen to play the role of the European Union bankrupt member state in order to “create” the big problem to which the European Union is going to “find” the “solution” soon.

Greece was chosen because it symbolizes Europe (nobody in Europe cares about countries like Hungary or Estonia) and because its economy was relatively easy to devastate after it renounced its own currency.

The European “elites” are using Greece to persuade the sheeple that if the Greek problem is not fixed,  Southern Europe will go bankrupt which will trigger the collapse of the whole European financial system and thus the bankruptcy of the whole European economy.

The “problem” is that the so-called Eurozone (where the euro currency replaced the national currencies) is doomed to collapse since the Southern European states (as well as the Eastern ones) cannot sustain their economy if they can’t devalue their own currency in order to boost export and tourism (they are now sucked to the euro currency.)

That’s where corrupt globalist politicians played their role in weakening their own economy by every means but the current “global recession” triggered by the international Khazar bankers was the main part of the plan to bring the Southern and Eastern European economies to a breaking point as well as to weaken the US economy and collapse the Chinese, Indian and Russian economies.

The “only solution” soon to be proposed soon by the EU is to suppress the national fiscal and budgetary policies in Europe and have a centralized European budget. All European states will have to send most of their tax money to a central European government and the national budgets will be established by this central government too.

It is going to be a bit more complicated but it will mean that the European national governments will cease to exist. In parallel, the European Union is already announcing the “necessary” creation of a big European Army to match the predominant military power of the US in the NATO.

As you already know, the international bankers are indeed mainly European bankers (Rothschild and co.) and these are the real brains behind the man-made global recession (just as they are behind the “global warming” scam.)

Thus the European “elites” are now on the way to becoming more powerful than the traditional US “elites”. All they need is to make the European Union a real superstate (centralized taxation and budgetary policy) with a real super army (the coming European Army.) Then, the US “elites” will be forced to merge the US into the EU and not the opposite as they would like.

The resulting “UNION” (this is the projected label) would be an empire ruled by the money powers whose ancestor ruled the Khazar empire at that time. If anybody still believes that the “Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion” is a fake, wait until the plan above is fulfilled and they will wake up in an “Elders of Zion” world. Unless of course America, China or Russia can stop the rise of the new Khazar empire.

——–A Word About Gold from 2008-

In case you bought gold to ensure your savings, be careful because the same Freemason friend of mine told me gold is just another scam to liquidate middle class wealth. The gold price will raise for a while and when enough middle class people in the West have put enough money in it, you-know-who will crash its price in order to destroy the money trapped in it.  My friend told me it could happen this year but anyway during the coming two or max. three years. I don`t know if this is true, but as I myself have bought some gold, I am prepared to react quickly.

Saudi Zio-Wahhabi (ISIS) savages sponsor Ramadan Quran Memorization Contest

Winners get Christian and Yazidi virgin child sex slaves as prizes

ISIS-sex-slaves (1)

Saudi Zio-Wahhabi ”ISIS” has committed countless unspeakable acts on young, pre-teen Christian and Yazidi girls in Syria & Iraq, but the terrorist army has reached a new low with an evil new contest in which child sex slaves captured in war are given away as ‘prizes’ to fighters who show that they have mastered the quran.

“By showcasing its slavery, ISIS is boasting that it practices Islam in its most literal interpretation, doesn’t capitulate to public opinion and rejects modern interpretations.” – Ryan Mauro, Clarion Project

picmonkey-collage-6_1435230226The shocking practice of giving away human beings as prizes, called “sibya,” was organized by the Da’wa and Mosques Department in Al-Baraka province in Syria in honor of the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan and was announced June 19 on Zio-Wahhabi ISIS Twitter accounts, according to the Middle East Media Research Institute and the Clarion Project, two independent research institutes that track social media accounts linked to terrorist groups.

6 (2)

An announcement on Twitter “begins with congratulations to ISIS soldiers and departments in the province upon the beginning of the month of Ramadan,” MEMRI wrote, “It then announces the upcoming Koran memorization competition, at which it says participants will be tested and given prizes accordingly.”

The statement lists the prizes planned for the top ten competitors, with the top three to each be awarded a female slave: ‘Winner of the first place [will be granted] (sibya) [a female slave who was captured at war],’” the translation by MEMRI read:

The Prizes for this competition are: 1st prize: A slave girl 2nd prize: A slave girl 3rd prize: A slave girl 4th prize: 100,000 Syrian lira ($462) 5th prize: $90,000 Syrian lira 6th prize: 80,000 Syrian lira 7th prize: 70,000 Syrian lira 8th prize: 60,000 Syrian lira 9th prize: 50,000 Syrian Lira 10th prize: 50,000 Syrian Lira

The Prizes for this competition are:
1st prize: A slave girl
2nd prize: A slave girl
3rd prize: A slave girl
4th prize: 100,000 Syrian lira ($462)
5th prize: $90,000 Syrian lira
6th prize: 80,000 Syrian lira
7th prize: 70,000 Syrian lira
8th prize: 60,000 Syrian lira
9th prize: 50,000 Syrian Lira
10th prize: 50,000 Syrian Lira

The contest in Syria plays upon two major Zio-Wahhabi ”ISIS”  themes, said Ryan Mauro, national security analyst for the New York-based Clarion Project: They are the ones who most closely follow “true” Islam and the Islamic State is a “legitimate” state. The contest and its underlying competition demonstrate that fighters are studying the quran, and that Zio-Wahhabi ” ISIS”  is not affected by international condemnation.

“By showcasing its slavery, ISIS is boasting that it practices Islam in its most literal interpretation, doesn’t capitulate to public opinion and rejects modern interpretations,” Mauro said. “It is also showing it has a functional Islamic educational system and therefore is a real caliphate.

The timing of the announcement is significant as Ramadan is a time of year where Muslims are charged with rejuvenating their faith. “Memorizing the quran is a considered a pious and worthy thing to do and many memorization competitions are held around the world, especially during Ramadan,” the Clarion Project said in its June 21 report. “It is believed to be the month during which Mohammed received the quran.”

The chapters the Islamic State challenged its followers to memorize include “some of the most warlike passages in the entire quran.”

Specifically the announcement, which told the competitors to come to one of four mosques including the “Mosques of Abu Bakr el-Sadiq, The Mosque of Osama Bin Laden, The Mosque of Abu Musab el-Zarqawi or The Mosque of el-Taqwa, and listed prizes, including “slave girls” and Syrian currency amounting to $500 and less.

“We ask the great lord to make your life easier and to grant you with what he loves and what pleases him,” the announcement concludes.

The treatment of girls and women captured by Saudi Zio-Wahhabi ISIS has become increasingly horrific and alarming, numerous human rights activists said. In 2014, 300 Yazidi girls and women captured in Iraq were forced to convert to Islam and sold to Zio-Wahhabi ”ISIS” jihadists in Syria for $1,000.

Last November, ”ISIS” reportedly unveiled a menu of sorts for women and children for sale with women 40 and 50 years old sold for just $40, girls between 10 and 20 years old auctioned for $129 each, and children under 10 commanding higher prices.

A Human Rights Watch report issued in April documented continued organized rapes, sexual assault, and other horrific crimes against Yezidi women and girls kidnapped from their homes and held as captives in Iraq and Syria.

The United Nation envoy on sexual violence reported in June that girls and women are being traded for as little as a pack of cigarettes, citing testimony of girls and women who were able to escape their captors.

Saudi Zio-Wahhabi terrorist suspect

Sent out a photo of the severed head of his boss hanging on a fence

Grenoble attacker, Yassin Salhi, who allegedly decapitated his boss and hung the head from a company fence took a selfie with the severed head — and shared the perverse pic with a friend.

Yassin Salhi, 35, allegedly sent the gruesome photo via WhatsApp to a Canadian cell phone number, according to officials. French investigators were hunting for the recipient of the selfie, but were unable to confirm media reports that it was a person now in Syria.

Salhi was arrested Friday after killing his boss, Herve Cornara, and unsuccessfully trying to set off an explosion at the U.S.-owned Air Products factory near Lyon by plowing a truck into an area containing flammable liquids. The suspect instead caused only a small explosion and was attempting to ignite bottles of acetone when he was overpowered by firefighters.

Before his capture, Salhi allegedly strangled and beheaded his boss, took the perverse photo, covered Cornara’s head in Arabic writing and attached it to the gates of the factory along with homemade ISIS flags, officials said. “This macabre act of decapitation, staged with flags, is new in France.”

In a scene echoing the gruesome violence used by Zio-Wahhabi terrorist groups in Syria, Salhi’s 54-year-old boss was found decapitated, prosecutors said. His head was affixed to a fence.

Salhi, who does have a history of radical ties, remained in police custody Saturday in Lyon along with his sister and wife. The father of three initially refused to cooperate with French authorities.

Not sure if this is the same person, but According to the JTA, a man called Yassin Salhi was given a six-month suspended jail sentence in 2012 for attacking a Jewish train passenger travelling from Paris to Lyon.

The assailant, who was not identified by name in French media, hit a man wearing a kipah on Jan. 26, 2011 aboard a train traveling from Paris to Lyon. “You Jews with your skullcaps, you think you run the world,” he said, adding profanities. The assailant then followed the Jewish man to the train bar, making derogatory remarks about him, his mother, father “and your whole race.” He then hit the man in the chest.

idlibDER’AH: The number is now 400+ for dead or wounded rodents trying to assault the southern city of Der’ah.  It was called “Operation Der’ah Storm”.  As it turned out, the storm was little more than a puff of fetid wind from the Jordanian desert.  The total number of rodents used went from an original 1,500 to an additional  1000 once the imbeciles in the Amman “Operations Room” realized that the SAA was fully prepared for the attack (thanks to the Big Surprise).  The plan was so obvious, it had the idiot Saudi imprimatur on it: get to Damascus and oust that Alawi Bashar at any cost.  The Saudis who are now fighting their own existential war against the Yemenis should have known better. They should have known that unlike the mythical King Midas, whose touch turned everything to gold, their King Salman’s touch turned everything to excrement.  And so the carcasses keep piling up at the Naseeb and Al-Ramtha Crossings where inept Jordanteezian veterinarians ply their trade on bearded rats.  At the Naseeb Crossing, the rats would have been delighted to see 3 of their refurbished T-62 tanks slowly disappearing into smelting pots.

The bottom line is that the rodents tried to invade the provincial capital from 5 strongpoints.  Because the SAA-MI had the detailed intelligence, the SAA was able to prepare appropriate defenses while the SAAF overhead, harried the rodents, never letting them achieve one single position.  The 5 stongpoints were Tafass-Al-Yaadoodaa, Al-Yaadoodaa-‘Itmaan, the Air Force Intelligence Building, Al-Naaziheen Camp and the National Hospital.  All came a cropper.  When the first attack failed miserably, Amman’s genii sent in another batch of 1000 rats building the number of rodent targets to 2,500.  But, there were 60 tanks also in the mini-army which had been sent in.  They were backed by TOW anti-tank operators courtesy of the United States.  The tanks were reportedly disused armor from some bases the rats raided.  Defectors who worked in the SAA,  as maintenance technicians or engineers, were able to get them running.  But, years of desuetude and technical neglect, meant they were for show, display or something to raise the sinking morale of these vermin.  They were not even useful as fixed artillery because of a lack of appropriate ordnance.

SAAF annihilated whole lines of these T-62 tanks.  Three, as we stated earlier, were put to death right at the Naseeb Crossing.  TOW operators were hunted down like grouse with special operations teams scouring the countryside for any hint of these rats.  Operating a TOW, Kornet, Milan or Sagger, is a nerve-eroding task.  I remember the 1973 war when both the Syrian and Egyptian armies were equipped with the first type of wire-guided anti-tank missile manufactured by the U.S.S.R.  The Sagger, as it was called, was amazingly effective at destroying Zionist tanks.  But, the Saggers required soldiers with nerves of steel.  In the flat, arid Sinai, Egyptian operators had to kneel, mostly in the open, and fire the rockets at the tanks.  They were easy to spot and many Sagger technicians were sniped out.  In the Golan, it was easier because Syrian Army operators could hide behind rocks and the like.  With the arrival of the very lethal TOWs, the SAA decided to fight back two ways:  the first was to equip their T-72 tanks with an additional skin of protective, explosive-absorbing blocks.  The second was deployment of specialized units whose sole task was to find and kill TOW operators.  This was all part of the new tactics introduced since the time of the Idlib catastrophe.

Al-Manshiyya Quarter:  The rats have withdrawn and abandoned their plan to occupy this part of the city.

Readers and some websites are reporting the liberation of Mahajja, Tal ‘Antar, Kafr Shams villages.  We can confirm that 2 Nusra nests were vaporized at Kafr Shams last night.  All groups who defended these villages unsuccessfully, apparently, were Nusra, Alwiyat Al-‘Izz, Jaysh Al-Hurr (FSA?).

Busraa Al-Shaam: The Syrian Army has confirmed a direct artillery strike on a Nusra/Alqaeda nest in the southwestern quarter of the town.  No other details.

Fighting reported in Tal Al-Za’tar.

Who’s burning black churches?

Arsonists hit at least 3 Southern congregations in the last 7 days

Charlotte, North Carolina church fire (Screenshot/ABC News)

Charlotte, North Carolina church fire (Screenshot/ABC News)

At least five black churches burned overnight this week, and three have been attributed to arson.

Last week’s shooting at Charleston’s Emanuel AME was perhaps the deadliest attackon a black church since the 1963 church bombing by the Klan in Birmingham, Alabama that killed four children. Since then, another specter from America’s violent racist history is again rearing its head – setting black churches ablaze.

At least three have been intentionally set on fire in recent days, according to a surveyof news reports compiled by the Daily Kos.

On Monday, someone set fire to College Hills Seventh Day Adventist Church in Tennessee, according to local WATE. The arsonist placed bales of hay outside the church doors and lit them ablaze, fire officials told the station. They also burned the church van.

On Tuesday, God’s Power Church of Christ in Georgia was intentionally set on fire, authorities told ABC News. Electronics and other equipment were also stolen in the early morning fire. Authorities told reporters there is “no evidence” of a hate crime.

On Wednesday, Briar Creek Baptist Church in North Carolina burned in the middle of the night, causing $250,000 in damage, NBC News reports. Authorities are investigating whether the intentional blaze was a hate crime. It took 75 firefighters to bring it under control.

On Friday, Glover Grove Missionary Baptist Church in South Carolina, was virtually destroyed in an overnight blaze, the Aiken Standard reports. While the cause of the fire is still under investigation, the FBI has been called in.

Another blaze on Friday morning in Florida at predominantly-black Greater Miracle Apostolic Holiness Church caused $700,000 in damage. The fire is under investigation but fire officials believe it to be accidental, the Tallahassee Democrat reports.

Burning black churches has historical significance that harkens back to the civil rights era, according to the Atlanta Black Star.

“From slavery and the days of Jim Crow through the civil rights movement and beyond, white supremacists have targeted the Black church because of its importance as a pillar of the Black community, the center for leadership and institution building, education, social and political development and organizing to fight oppression,” David Love writes.

The Ku Klux Klan has ramped up recruiting activity in the days since the Charleston shooting. Residents in California, Kansas, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, and Georgia woke last weekend to find bags in their lawns filled with candy and Klan flyers seeking new members.

White supremacist Dylann Roof, who has been charged with the attack that killed nine at Charleston’s historical Emanuel AME on June 17, left behind a racist manifesto that said, “We have no skinheads, no real KKK, no one doing anything but talking on the internet. Well someone has to have the bravery to take it to the real world, and I guess that has to be me.”

The fires also come as activists and politicians begin the process of removing the Confederate flag from public property, sparking protests.

“We’re still talking about this issue and it’s 2015,” Briar Creek pastor Mannix Kinseytold CNN. “And so we all have to consider, what else do we need to do to actually be able to work together?”

Charleston, America

The American capacity to deny history might be heroic if it weren’t so persistently in the direction of social repression. The port of Charleston, South Carolina was the major entry and distribution point for kidnapped Africans forced into slavery in the American colonies. Slaves built the city of Charleston and were the force that drove the colonial economy of South Carolina. By 1709 South Carolina had the first slave patrols in the colonies, self-appointed groups that policed the movements of Blacks. By 1837 the Charleston slave patrols became the first official municipal police department in the U.S. Today Charleston’s role in the horrors of slavery has been sanitized through the storyline of the ‘progress’ of history. But with the blood of nine Black innocents freshly spilled, this history doesn’t wash away so easily.

The racist sociopath who committed the murders, Dylann Roof, made it clear that there was ‘nothing personal’ in the commission of his crime. His stated motive, to start a race war, was categorical— by reports the murderer knew none of his victims until shortly before he murdered them. In contrast to the willful obfuscation of the professional promoters of White supremacy among the chattering classes, the fact that the murders were categorical, were motivated by racism, makes them political. The murderer’s broader motives are White supremacist boilerplate, the generalities that signal tribal allegiance, not response to actually occurring offenses. Given American history, these motives are near perfect reversal of the facts of three centuries of torture, rape, murder and exploitation of enslaved and nominally free Blacks by Southern Whites.

Rest in Peace: Rev. Clementa Pinckney, Cynthia Hurd, Sharonda Coleman-Singleton, Tywanza Sanders, Myra Thompson, Ethel Lee Lance, Susie Jackson, Daniel Simmons and Depayne Middleton.

The White resentment evidenced by Dylann Roof is over lost privilege that was never lost. The flag flying over the South Carolina State House isn’t the Confederate flag as has so often been reported, it is the Confederate battle flag— a potent and purposeful statement that the culture of racist repression was never defeated. And while the existence of the Emanuel AME Church where the murders occurred is evidence of resilience in the face an unbearably tragic, and purposely inflicted, history the theme of a reversal of this history, of ‘the country being taken over,’ is so radically delusional that discourse— a ‘conversation’ and symbolic acts, stands little chance of providing the needed link to social circumstances as they are actually being lived. The willful, insistent peace that led those murdered to welcome their assassin into their midst appears to be the ultimate target of Dylann Roof.

Of the official ‘remedies’ being put forward one makes symbolic sense and the other little to no practical sense. The Confederate battle flag that hangs atop state buildings in South Carolina celebrates centuries of systematic repression of Blacks by Whites. This may be “history,” but it is history that favors oppressors over oppressed— it is a symbol that actual power remains with the White establishment. Conversely, how covetous of history would the White ‘traditionalists’ be if Whites had been enslaved? That the flag still flies is evidence that this American history remains radically unresolved. Removing it would be symbolic. But without redressing the material differences that are the residual of this history mere symbolism is misleading. Paying reparations and political power-sharing that removes White privilege would be steps beyond the merely symbolic.

The modern gun control movement began after legally armed Black Panthers entered the Sacramento State House in California in 1967. The prior three centuries of White gun violence had nothing to do with it. Effective gun control would require actively taking guns from large numbers of people. Given the history and current state of policing in the U.S., what are the chances that White nationalists would be the targets of this effort? (Answer: none). The gun used by Dylann Roof appears to have been a gift from his father that was legally purchased. And the case of Australia, where strict gun control laws were implemented after a horrific mass murder was committed there, is less compelling than is generally presented. Data compiled by the World Bank has the murder rate falling less in both relative and absolute terms than in other comparable countries, including the U.S.

Slaves produced American bounty and the capital now in the hands of the descendants of slavers. The coded language of economics is used in the present to wash this tainted history from current social relations. The ‘original sin’ of capitalism lies in the provenance of this ‘capital’ produced by slaves and its ongoing expropriation. Original image source:

Political economy was brought to the fore through the temporary alliance of the President of the North Carolina NAACP, Rev. Dr. William Barber, South Carolina State Representative Doug Brannon and the Chamber of Commerce in a recent piece on DemocracyNow!All agreed that the Confederate battle flag should be removed from State buildings. But when Rev. Barber argued for increased social spending and a living wage law to address the economic residual of slavery the alliance quickly dissipated. South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley gave the game away when she offered that none of the corporate leaders who were relocating ‘their’ companies to the state had complained about the flag up to that point.

Historical metaphor is apparently not the strong suit of the Southern business class. In South Carolina three or more centuries of slave ‘owners’ claiming the product of slaves for themselves has been replaced in the present by the executives of multi-national corporations using the social / political and economic residuals of slavery to claim the product of modern labor as ‘profits.’ The White political class in South Carolina wants to remove the flag because the historical distribution of political and economic power that it represents is better served by the more effectively coded language of economics. With the preponderance of American history as a guide, the international business ‘leaders’ to whom Governor Haley referred selected South Carolina in large measure because of this distribution, not in spite of it.

The current owners of luxury car maker BMW bought the company with the proceeds from Concentration Camp labor in WWII. Like the provenance of expropriated slave labor in the Americas, these proceeds are being used in the present to exert political and economic control over the social residuals of this tainted past. Even cursory investigation suggests that engineered dependence, coercion and directly expropriated labor are the material basis of modern capitalism. Original image source:

The profound moral and political differences between slavery and ‘free’ labor are as compressed in capitalist theory as they are by the material circumstances that are the residual of Southern history. The ‘human capital’ of capitalist theory can be owned, controlled or ‘free,’ with the determinant being that with the lowest cost. Among the business leaders to whom Governor Haley alluded, the owners of ‘luxury’ automaker BMW, now located outside of Greenville S.C., weremajor ‘users’ of concentration camp labor in WWII. The Boeing Corporation in North Charleston uses prison labor in its production processes. The ‘free’ labor that arrives at these doorsteps faces the historical question of why expropriated slave labor, now in the form of accumulated capital, is still owned / controlled by the descendants of Nazis and slavers?

The national ‘get over it’ chide that places current circumstance far removed from the legacy of slavery gets both current circumstance and the legacy of slavery wrong. In contrast to the ever-present ‘now’ of capitalist economics, slaves built substantial portions of the wealth and means of production that are presently owned and / or controlled by international capitalists. South Carolina is a particularly acute example of this history. And Northerners profited from trade in the cheap cotton produced by slaves, from the effect that slavery had in lowering factory wages and from the capital accumulation that resulted from these. Slave labor and its residual are deeply embedded in the fabric of current economic circumstance. The White and reactionary Black chides might make more sense if this past had ever been reconciled. Stating that history has ended while providing copious evidence to the contrary hardly makes it so.

Contention over the Confederate battle flag that hangs over public buildings in South Carolina suggests a symbolic basis for the social residual of slavery. However, the unity of American and European ‘capital’ gained from slavery can be found across South Carolina, and more broadly, the capitalist West. Sleek corporatism may be replacing the crude and overt racism of the Ku Klux Klan and other earlier racist organizations, but the expropriated labor of slaves embedded in corporate capital suggests that better marketing doesn’t change intentions. Original image source:

This treatment of history that seems so intuitive in the present is, in fact, an artifact of capitalist ideology. Capitalist economics whitewashes the provenance of existing capital— land, machines, financial obligations and wealth in various forms, through inferring immaculate economic conception back in time. Land gotten through genocide against the indigenous population in South Carolina— the Trail of Tears was conceived to ‘free’ land for White European settlers, is modern day ‘real estate’ and the subsidized land on which slavers like BMW locate factories. What precisely constitutes the starting point after which subsequent capital and wealth accumulation is fairly gotten? Major Western corporations, including BMW, continue toknowingly use slave labor in the present, right now.

In the economic calculus of the business interests that locate in the low-wage, anti-union South the residual of slavery is incidental in the same way that imperial history is to Western capitalists who locate production in El Salvador, Vietnam or Malaysia. Boeing argues that it pays lower wages in South Carolina because the cost of living is lower— an economically circular and wholly self-serving, argument. Otherwise, business ‘leaders’ seek out ‘natural’ indicators of probable high profits like low / no wages, limited capacity for labor to organize, few environmental restrictions and subsidized infrastructure. Charleston has infrastructure built by generations of slaves, a pro-business leadership class that understands the political economy of economic expropriation and the added benefit of “history” devoid of history. From her statements, Governor Haley appears to understand who she answers to.

A superficial paradox can be found in the support that these corporations give to universalist-humanist causes. None other thanBMW offers ‘partner’ benefits to LGBT employees in South Carolina even though the factory was built with the proceeds from slave labor and from competitors ‘bought’ on the cheap as their founders were being hauled off to concentration camps. This paradox unravels when the corporate distinction between workers and customers is made. Most modern corporations care not the source of customer dollars— any type of customer is fine as long as it supports further business. Profiting from captive labor in the present, as many large Western corporations do, is considered ‘efficient’ labor management but publicly advocating the use of, or celebrating, captive labor is poor customer relations.

This distinction helps explain the temporary alliance between people who have historically been on the wrong side of the Confederate battle flag and those who see it as a public relations problem. The bipartisan economic program currently being implemented in South Carolina (and nationally) instantiates permanent class divisions by relegating the social mechanisms that might produce rough social equivalence like public education, public health care and food and housing security to ‘personal choice’ when 90% of the population lacks the resources to make these a choice without going deeply in debt. This is an alliance of diametrically opposed interests once the flag is brought down.

This history of resisting all efforts at creating factual social equivalence explains both the persistence of the Confederate battle flag and the economic program being promoted by South Carolina’s political class. More broadly, America has a greater degree of racial segregation in its schools today than it did forty years ago. The shift from overt racism to the economics of oppression ties slavery to modern capitalism. Absent wholly implausible theories of racial superiority there is little to explain the persistence of White privilege and political and economic power other than continuing claims on, and control of, expropriated slave labor. The shell game in the present is immaculate economic provenance, putting forward the expropriated product of slavery in the form of accumulated capital as a continuing claim on economic privilege.

Life is no doubt more cluttered than theory, but that is the burden of theory. The modern American social strategy is to claim ‘opportunity’ while assuring that the material basis for it does not exist. The division of explicit from implicit has slavery formally ending one-and one-half centuries ago but its functional reconstitution occurring only days later. Leap forward and today we find police founded in slave patrols providing racial / social repression and a steady stream of captive labor to work for the descendants of slavers and Nazis who have never made recompense for past crimes. If one cares to look for a dependent class, it can easily be found in executive boardrooms, in the investment portfolios of the wealthy, in state assemblies across the country and in Federal government policies.

The murder of nine Black martyrs in Charleston is both tragic and horrific, but it is only surprising through aggressive resistance to American history. Indigenous rights and recompense belong alongside the mechanisms of social, political and economic reconciliation if any are sought. Dylann Roof murdered more than the nine martyrs with his crime, he murdered peace, as locally circumscribed and hard fought as it was. Calls for reconciliation without material redress for centuries of tortured history seem empty. It is an illusion to expect political economy built on subjugation and expropriation to produce the social goods that proponents claim. And the fact that past expropriation has never been disgorged and is now being used as tool of economic re-subjugation should help clarify the lines of contention.

Carpet-Bombing History

J. E. Curtis, Keeper of the British Museum’s Middle East collections, was on grim business in Iraq. Armed occupiers held an ancient city there—“tantamount to establishing a military camp around the Great Pyramid in Egypt or around Stonehenge in Britain,” he wrote. The site was “irrevocably contaminated,” he added, suffering “permanent damage that will last forever.”

Curtis was describing Babylon in 2004, under U.S. occupation. But commentary on ISIS ignores Washington’s legacy of cultural ruin, assuming Islamic State has some unique capacity for wrecking artifacts. The group’s “obliterators,” as historian Simon Schamatermed them, “all act from the same instinct of cultural panic that the supreme works of the past will lead people astray from blind, absolute obedience.” Toppling Palmyra would reveal “Isis’s littleness,” architecture critic Rowan Moore asserted, asking “how could anyone be so threatened by ancient ruins, unless they lacked belief in their ability to create something themselves?”

“Palmyra,” Moore emphasized, “is an ancient Roman site whose significance and value is exceeded by very few others: those in Rome itself, Pompeii, possibly Petra in Jordan.” So in his view, a “littleness” rivaling Islamic State’s would motivate, say, bombing raids on Pompeii—which the U.S. and British Air Forces carried out in 1943. The first strike happened August 24, “ironically the anniversary of the eruption of Vesuvius,” according to the Getty Museum’s Kenneth Lapatin. “Damage was incurred at various points throughout the archaeological site (over 160 hits were recorded), and some of its most famous monuments were struck,” with dozens “totally destroyed,” heexplains.

The Allies bombed the Cathedral of Benevento that same month. “For 1,100 years this medieval church stood as a small but precious religious monument,” LIFE reported, though after the attack only “the bell tower, parts of the façade and one side wall” remained. “Fire that swept the cathedral burned rare Sixth Century Langobardic manuscripts,” though perhaps “the loss of the cathedral’s famous 12thCentury bronze doors” was worse.

Six months later, in February 1944, Allied bombers demolished the Abbey of Monte Cassino, where “the only people killed,” David Hapgood and David Richardson clarify, “were among the civilians.” Dating from the 6th century, the Abbey was “the site where St. Benedict himself had founded the world-famed Benedictine Order,” John S. D. Eisenhower noted. He pointed out that Nazi officials ordered Monte Cassino’s Abbot, Gregorio Diamare—who “could not bring himself to believe that the Allies would destroy such a venerated edifice as the Abbey”—to send its art and archives to a safe location.

Allied bombers brutalized German historic sites for the rest of the war. “The center of Trier, for instance, was subjected to twenty raids between 14 August and 24 December 1944, causing severe damage to the fourth-century AD basilica and the Liebfrauenkirche, one of the oldest Gothic churches in Germany,” Nicola Lambourne writes. After the January 1945 raid on Nuremberg, much “of the historic center was destroyed, including the Albrecht Dürer house and the nineteenth-century building housing the German National Museum.” Sönke Neitzel explains that the February 1945 attack on Dresden badly damaged nineteen of the city’s thirty most significant cultural structures, leveling the other eleven.

And the U.S. Army Air Forces, while firebombing Japan, leveled Kobe’s 700-year-old Yakusenji Temple, Nagoya’s 17th-century Castle, and Tokyo’s Taitokuin mausoleum—“a spectacular complex,” historian William H. Coaldrake affirms—built in 1632. Mark Michael Rowe writes that “Isshinji, an extremely popular Jōdo temple in Osaka, began collecting anonymous remains in 1887. The ashes were ground up, combined with concrete and molded into life-sized, seated Bone Buddha statues.” When U.S. incendiaries razed it, “the remains of nearly one million people, abandoned and otherwise, had been entrusted to the temple.” Washington’s campaign to ignite these cities also “accounted either directly or indirectly for the destruction of 50 percent of the total book resources in Japanese libraries,” Rebecca Knuth writes.

The destruction was equally broad in North Korea, years later. “Pyongyang is usually presented as an ancient city,” Andrei Lankovobserves. “The area has been the site of a major settlement for nearly two millennia,” he acknowledges, but adds that “the present Pyongyang was built almost from scratch in the mid-1950s”—mainly because “a major US bombing campaign that reached its height in 1952” wiped out “some 90 percent of the city,” erasing much of its history. Justin Corfield, in his Historical Dictionary of Pyongyang, listswhat was lost. The Kwangbop Buddhist Temple dated to 392; Potong Gate “was one of the ancient city gates of the walled city of Pyongyang, built in the mid-sixth century;” Sungryong Hall, a temple, “was built in 1429,” and like the other structures “destroyed during the Korean War,” Corfield concludes.

Or consider Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary. The Global Heritage Fund explains it “is one of Vietnam’s only archaeological sites to be inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site and was inhabited from the 4th– through the 15th centuries AD,” when the Champa Kingdom blossomed. But “a large majority of Mỹ Sơn’s exquisite architecture was destroyed by aerial bombing during a single week of the Vietnam War.” A team of scholars, involved in the “ongoing conservation effort” there, admit their work “cannot change one sad truth: one of the towers that the [B-52] bombing crew saw that day [in August 1969], the temple once described as the ‘most perfect expression of Cham architecture,’ is gone forever.’”

Anthropologist Christina Schwenkel uncovered “another buried history of US aerial bombing in Vietnam: that of the demolished city of Vinh, provincial capital of Nghệ An.” From 1964-1973, “the city was subjected to more than 4,700 air strikes,” during which its “historical and cultural patrimony”—including the 18th-century Diệc Pagoda and 19th-century imperial citadel—was finished off. Mervyn Brown, in his memoir recounting years spent in Laos, describes a similar U.S. bombing. “The destruction of Xieng Khouang, a former royal capital with many beautiful temples and other buildings of historical and artistic interest, was a particular act of cultural vandalism.” The ruin was so complete “that it was not feasible to rebuild the town,” he laments.

There were, in other words, precedents for what the British Museum’s Curtis saw in U.S.-occupied Babylon. And that city’s damage stemmed from Washington’s antiquities policy. “During preparations for the 2003 war on Iraq,” writes journalist Robert Bevan, “US military planners identified 150 important archaeological sites to be avoided. US archaeologists responded with a list of 4,000 vital locations—a degree of ‘duty of protection’ that the Pentagon rejected despite international law demanding it.” Familiar results followed. Vandals torched the National Library and Archives and the Ministry of Religious Endowment’s Koranic Library. Looters hit the Museum of Archaeology. “The US forces did not seek to prevent the destruction here and elsewhere,” Bevan argues, “despite being implored to do so.”

“Why does the nihilistic effort to wipe out an ancient civilization echo so strongly?” Thanassis Cambanis asked in the Boston Globe. He was writing about ISIS, with justifiable outrage. But we should ask another question: Why doesn’t Washington’s global bombing of cultural sites—accompanying mass slaughter—echo at all?
