Medical Tourism: FGM

UK DAILY MAIL  Standing barefoot with a viciously sharp blade in her hand this is a cutter woman who performs female genital mutilation (FGM) on young girls as part of a misguided belief it prevents promiscuity and maintains family status in the traditional community. Half-blind, with just a couple of teeth left, Anna-Moora Ndege started cutting girls’ sexual organs over 70 years ago.

At first she used a six-inch nail, sharpened on stone to create a crude flat blade. Now she uses a razor blade – bought at the little shop at the end of the dirt track leading from her mud hut in rural Africa. Ndege, 86, along with Agnes Kerubo, are two of the cutters that can be found in villages, towns and cities in Kenya and across Africa and parts of the Middle East where communities cling on to this barbaric tradition.

She said: ‘Girls are cut to ensure they remain faithful because the sexual organ is not there anymore. When you are cut you will not be a slut looking for men here and there like a prostitute. ‘You are docile, waiting for your husband because after you are cut, sex is for having children not for anything else.’

Although outlawed across the developed world and many parts of Africa, the practice continues among tens of thousands of families who fear being outcast if they do not submit their daughters to this horrific ordeal.

Over one million girls and women living in Europe and North America have been affected by FGM, according to welfare groups. Some 700,000 victims live in Europe – 140,000 in the UK and 100,000 in France. A further 500,000 women in the USA have undergone the procedure or are in danger of being forced into it.

As one British victim said: ‘Everyone thinks it’s not the girl in Manchester, in Cardiff or London being taken away and having FGM but it’s exactly these girls, they are not girls who are immigrants or here on holiday.’

And this summer tens of thousands of girls living in Europe and North America will be brought to Africa by their parents to undergo FGM as part of a warped bid to maintain their status in the traditional society. School holidays are known as the ‘cutting season’. It is estimated that there are three million new FGM victims every year across the world.

Keruba, 62, said: ‘Circumcision is an important festival. It’s a celebration like Christmas. It unites people. There is feasting and drinking and dancing. ‘When you are cut that’s when you can grow healthily into a woman because the bad blood is not there anymore. In the body there is good blood and bad blood. After a girl is cut the bad blood is gone.’

Kenyan anti-FGM campaigner Ester Ogeto said girls and their families – even if they are now living in Western countries – are put under tremendous pressure to adhere to this barbaric tradition. Some communities believe a woman cannot become pregnant unless she has been ‘circumcised’.

Ogeto said: ‘Families worry that their girls will be made outcasts and be shunned if they are not cut. She would be called names – told that she was smelly, told that her “organ would grow until it touched the floor”.

‘When a girl has been cut she is considered to be grown up, even if she is three years old. Girls are cut to fit into their community. After that she can get married and become pregnant.’

عشرات القتلى من إرهابيي داعش بقصف مروحي للجيش في ريف حمص Note how the SAA always checks for explosive belts on rat carcasses.  Sometimes these terrorists feign death in order to attract soldiers to investigate only to detonate their explosive charges.   Soldiers have to be extremely cautious.  When the rat is clearly a foreigner, they will give him the coup de grace as a precaution.

AL-HASAKA:  It should be obvious to all that the ISIS assault on Al-Hasaka was a failure.  Despite the terror group’s initial success in overpowering militia at the southwestern quarter of Al-Nashwa, and, even, penetration into Al-Ghuwayraan Quarter, the fact now remains that ISIS has not been able to hold on to anything and has been routed in every quarter of this provincial capital.  The area was so pacified that Lt. General Fahd Jaassim Al-Furayj flew in by helicopter to congratulate the field commanders and to inspect the theater of battle.  He reportedly carried with him, as always, the praise of Dr. Bashar Al-Assad, Syria’s president and commander-in-chief.  Some have written about the presence of Maj. Gen. ‘Issaam Zhahreddeen in Al-Hasaka at the command of about 300 paratroopers from the Republican Guard.  I, personally, have seen no evidence of this and find it strange that a general would be sent anywhere to command a platoon of rangers.  Be that as it may, the field commanders in this area were more than merely successful.

بتوجيه من الرئيس الأسد.. وزير الدفاع يتفقد وحدات الجيش في الحسكة

dar3aaThe Syrian Army and its allies are cleaning up a mess created by the inept monkey Jordanian “strategists” – these are the kind of sedenterized bedouins who think that marching like an English soldier is a sign of civilization – after the Syrian Army spent several days killing and wounding hundreds of them in battle after battle.  It’s gotten so bad that even Brandon Turbeville has started to write about a Jordanian threat to invade a la Erdoghan.  Of course, Erdoghan has changed his language to something along the lines of “no unilateral action”.  Well, what if Jordan joins in?  Would that not solve the problem?  Not really.  The Turkish opposition has made it clear it must not happen.  The Turkish high command is opposed to any such intervention.  And the Russian navy continues to pile on ships on the borders of Syria.  As far as Jordan is concerned, polls there suggest the Jordanian people are very much against such involvement.  The Dwarf half-breed King is playing with fire.

Saydaa:  Confirmed.  The SAA has killed 15 rat leaders of Nusra and Harakat Al-Muthannaa Al-Islamiyya, destroyed or disabled 50 vehicles including an IED factory.  The scene is one of utter chaos as rodents, once they discovered they were in the cross hairs, tried to escape the field of battle by driving every which way resulting in many vehicles colliding with each other and making it all the easier to destroy them.  Monzer writes that over 80 carcasses were counted by spotters.  Rat terrorist supporters have identified some of the dead rodents:

Ahmad Sa’eed Al-Humaydi

Faadi Tayseer Al-Haaj-‘Ali (died at the hands of Jordanian quacks in Al-Ramtha Regime Hospital)

‘Issaa Muhammad Khodhr

Ahmad Muhammad Khodhr

SyrPer extends, once again, its congratulations to the Khodhr family for its investment in Satan’s Zoo and Nature Park in Hell.  Keep up the good work.

الجيش يسيطر بشكل كامل على حي غويران بالحسكةCity:  The Nusra hyenas tried to infiltrate into the Electric Company Complex.  The SAA was monitoring their movements and took action immediately killing almost all the rats and destroying a van loaded with ammunition.

At Kafr Shams and ‘Aqraba, the Syrian Air Force struck hard at concentrations of Nusra vultures killing many.

مقتل العشرات من إرهابيي جيش الفتح بغارات سورية في ريف ادلبIDLIB:  We are delighted to report the deaths of 98 rodents confirmed by aerial and ground reconnaissance as the SAAF is beginning a major “softening up” of the area before the Syrian Army assault on Jisr Al-Shughoor.   Reports from our family and sources in Latakia prove that a huge offensive is about to start. Even areas like Slinfeh, Qardaaha, Al-Hiffa and Al-Rawdha are now filled with over 40,000 troops and volunteers champing at the bit to exterminate the vile, syphilitic filth infesting the Syrian homeland.

Al-Majaass:  Syrian Air Force has battered a grouping of Nusra vultures as local residents act as spotters for our bombers.  Many locals are positioning homers for the guided missiles with which the air force has been equipped generously by the Russian Federation.  After the rats were annihilated, a unit of the SAA-Mi went in and collected data on the carcasses.  They counted 29 of whom only these were Syrians with valid papers:

Habeeb Sa’ad-Al-Deen Al-Saani’

Hishaam Muhsin Haaroon

Muhammad ‘Ali Raa`if Sillu

Muraad ‘Abdullah Al-‘Abdullah

Abu-Dhuhoor:  The SAAF went into the air again based on perfect Intel and slaughtered the teeming rats once again trying to mount some pathetic attack on the Abu-Dhuhoor AB..  No assessments have been accomplished as the area is rife with vermin.

Ihsim:  In the Jabal Al-Zaawiya area where more and more SAA and volunteers are massing for the assault on Jisr Al-Shughoor.  SAAF hurled fire and brimstone at the cowering hyenas as SAA spotters gave perfect coordinates to kill 19 of the mercenaries.  No names.

Shannaan Village:  Also in the Jabal Al-Zaawiya area, SAAF dropped a thermobaric bomb on an area strictly inhabited by the rodents, who, using their etiquette, evicted the legal owners.  Over 30 rodents were killed who belonged to Alqaeda/Nusra.

Jannat Al-Quraa:  An artillery barrage with mixed Howitzer and FROG missiles struck a bull’s eye here with dozens of casualties reported by the rats on their Turk-Zionist-supplied cellphones.  They could not get any help as the SAA had surrounded the area snuffing out the life of the stinking, malodorous, purulent, diseased hyenas.

الجيش السوريTal Salmu:  Nusra took a beating here at the hands of SAA SF in an ambush described as “perfect” by our source.  However,  it is extremely difficult to obtain details from SF operations.

Umm Jareen:  SAA crushed 3 packs of rodents belonging to Nusra and Jaysh Al-Fath here:

Hassan Muhammad Zu’aynu

Jameel Khudhr Al-Nujoom

‘Alaa’-Al-Deen Mahmoud ‘Atwa

Shafeeq Khaalid Zammaar

Layth ‘Abdul-Quddoos Rahhaala

Saamir Muhammad Mabrook

The rest were all foreigners.  The total number of dead rats was 20.

US church burnings: A ‘long and dark’ history that never really stopped

Charlotte, North Carolina church fire (Screenshot/ABC News)

Sometime after 8pm on Tuesday evening, Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church in Greeleyville, South Carolina went up in flames. Located 60 miles north of Charleston, the building’s torched roof lit up the night sky. It was similar to the six other predominantly black southern churches that have burned in the two weeks since the slaughter of nine black men and women inside a historic Charleston church on 17 June.

Federal investigators, finding no evidence to suggest arson, believe a lightning strike may have sparked the blaze. Local officials, urging patience until their investigation is complete, have yet to determine an exact cause. With only the red brick walls left standing, residents of the tiny town and across the nation have slowly grown suspicious that the seemingly isolated church fires may be connected.

The latest string of church fires has led to at least three confirmed arsons in Charlotte, North Carolina, Knoxville, Tennessee, and Macon, Georgia. In all, more than a half-dozen churches have burned since the mass shooting.

As the Federal Bureau of Investigation looks at whether any of the fires classify as hate crimes, recent church fires like the one in Greeleyville, a house of worship that KKK members torched two decades ago, have resuscitated memories of high-profile arsons dating back to before the US Civil War.

“There are no other institutions as central to African American life as the church,” says Laurie Maffly-Kipp, a University of Washington in St Louis professor who studies religion and American history. “If you want to go after a really potent symbol, that’s the place you go. It’s sort of like burning the cross. You could say the cross is just a couple pieces of word put together. But that symbolism means something very important.”

People have set fire to black churches since the early 19th century, a time when houses of worship largely operated as underground places, offering glimmers of hope and freedom for enslaved black men and women. During Reconstruction, black ministers founded churches for emancipated slaves where they could pray, learn to read and participate in a larger community. As the number of black churches grew over time, Maffly-Kipp says, arson became one of a number of terrorist tactics such as bombings and threats against ministers, used to deter black community members from regularly meeting.

“The history is long and deep and dark,” Southern Poverty Law Center Senior fellow Mark Potok says. “Churches were burned as a matter of suppressing people, trying to keep black people ‘in their place.’”

Between 1954 and 1968, Potok says, arsons and bombings struck nearly 100 black churches, many of which provided space for activists to organize their Civil Rights Movement efforts. The most infamous church attack, the 1963 bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, resulted in the deaths of four young black girls. The four KKK members who plotted the attack never faced charges.

Christopher Strain, a Florida Atlantic University American studies professor and author of Burning Faith: Church Arson in the American South, says the pattern reemerged in the mid-90s, when a rash of church fires prompted then-US President Bill Clinton to form the National Church Arson Task Force (NCATF) and Congress to pass legislation doubling the penalties for future church arsons. Between January 1995 and September 1998, the NCATF opened investigations into 670 arsons, bombings, and attempted bombings at houses of worship.

In June 1995, Mount Zion AME Church burned down for the first time in its history. Ku Klux Klan recruits Christopher Cox and Timothy Welch doused the church’s pews and pulpit with accelerants before setting the century-old house of worship ablaze. Cox and Welch later confessed to the arson and were sentenced to nearly two decades in prison. According to Potok, a South Carolina jury ordered the Christian Knights of the KKK and several individual Klansmen to pay a $37.8 million civil judgment for their conspiring roles in the crime — which a judge later reduced to $21.5 million.

Since then, church fires have continued to occur at a high rate, despite fading from the national news. According to the National Fire Protection Association, about 280 houses of worship, including those practicing all different faiths, were intentionally torched between 2007 and 2011. A recent Associated Press analysis found only 16% of all church fires were ruled to be arson.

“People are now saying here we go again, but they never really stopped,” Strain says. “The church burnings got national press in the 1960s and 1990s. They have never really gone away.”

Strain says many church blazes now happen due to a number other factors — old wooden buildings, faulty electrical wiring, unintentional homeless fires, or angst-filled teens — largely unrelated to hate crimes. However, Strain notes, the reoccurrence of arsons after the recent Confederate flag debate warrants the heightened vigilance. Though it may be coincidence, he says, the track record of church burnings in Southern states is hard to ever ignore.

Mount Zion AME Church is a rare exception for a church burning down twice. But in cities like Knoxville, black churches have seen history repeat itself in recent weeks. College Hill Seventh-day Adventist Church, one of the three churches where fire investigators have confirmed arson, suffered about $50,000 in damages to the building and a church van on 21 June.

Nearly two decades before the recent arson, Inner City Baptist Church, located about five miles away, burned down thanks to a mix of Molotov cocktails, gunpowder, and kerosene. Racial slurs marked the charred sanctuary walls where former NFL Defensive End Reggie White once preached.

College Hill pastor Cleveland Hodby III, who nearly six months ago joined the 280-member congregation, says enough of his church has survived to continue holding regular services. However, he says, the toughest thing to fix won’t be the damage to the burnt property or torched van. It’ll be recovering the sense of safety his house of worship held for his congregation.

“There’s a feeling of a need for safety,” Hodby III says. “Church has always been a safe place. The aura of church being a safe place has been taken. I have to restore that.”

Behind the Greek Crisis

Exclusive: The usual narrative of the Greek economic tragedy is that the country is paying for its past profligacy, but there is deeper back story of political repression fueled by major powers intervening in Greece and contributing to a dysfunctional political system, recalls ex-U.S. diplomat William R. Polk.

By William R. Polk

Focusing exclusively on the monetary aspects of the Greek crisis the media misses much of what disturbs the Greeks and also what might make a solution possible.

For over half a century, Greeks have lived in perilous times. In the 1930s, they lived under a brutal dictatorship that modeled itself on Nazi Germany, employing Gestapo-like secret police and sending critics off to an island concentration camp. Then a curious thing happened: Benito Mussolini invaded the country.

Challenged to protect their self-respect and their country, Greeks put aside their hatred of the Metaxis dictatorship and rallied to fight the foreign invaders. The Greeks did such a good job of defending their country that Adolf Hitler had to put off his invasion of Russia to rescue the Italians. That move probably saved Josef Stalin since the delay forced the Wehrmacht to fight in Russia’s mud, snow and ice for which they had not prepared. But, ironically, it also saved the Metaxis dictatorship and the monarchy. The king and all the senior Greek officials fled to British-occupied Egypt and, as new allies, they were declared part of the “Free World.”

Meanwhile, in Greece, the Germans looted much of the industry, shipping and food stuffs. The Greeks began to starve. As Mussolini remarked, “the Germans have taken from the Greeks even their shoelaces…”

Then, the Greeks began to fight back. In October 1942, they set up a resistance movement that within two years became the largest in Europe. When France could claim less than 20,000 partisans, the Greek resistance movement had enrolled about 2 million and was holding down at least two divisions of German soldiers. And they did it without outside help.

As the war’s outcome became apparent, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill was determined to return Greece to the prewar rule of the monarchy and the old regime. He was motivated by fear of Communist influence within the resistance movement.

Churchill tried to get the Anglo-American army that was getting ready to invade Italy to attack Greece instead. Indeed, he tried so hard to change the war plan that he almost broke up the Allied military alliance; when he failed, he threw all the soldiers he still controlled into Greece and precipitated a civil war that tore the country apart. The Underground leaders were outsmarted and their movement was smashed. The bureaucracy, police and programs of the prewar dictatorship resumed control.

After the war, with Britain out of money and no longer able to sustain its policy, London turned Greece over to the Americans who announced the “Truman Doctrine” and poured in money to prevent a leftist victory. American money temporarily won the day, but the heavy hand of the former regime created a new generation of would-be democrats who challenged the dictatorship.

This is the theme beautifully evoked in Costa Gavras’ film “Z,” starring Yves Montagne. As the film shows, the liberal movement of the early 1960s was overwhelmed by a new military dictatorship, “the rule of the colonels.”

When the military junta was overthrown in 1974, Greece enjoyed a brief period of “normality,” but none of the deep fissures in the society had been healed. Regardless of what political party chose the ministers, the self-perpetuating bureaucracy was still in control. Corruption was rife. And, most important of all, Greece had become a political system that Aristotle would have called an oligarchy.

The very rich used their money to create for themselves a virtual state within the state. They extended their power into every niche of the economy and so arranged the banking system that it became essentially extra-territorialized. Piraeus harbor was filled with mega-yachts owned by people who paid no taxes and London was partly owned by people who fattened off the Greek economy. The “smart money” of Greece was stashed abroad.

The Current Crisis

This state of affairs might have lasted many more years, but when Greece joined the European Union in 1981, European (mainly German) bankers saw an opportunity:  they flocked into Greece to offer loans. Even those Greeks who had insufficient income to justify loans grabbed them. Then, the lenders began to demand repayment. Shocked, businesses began to cut back. Unemployment increased. Opportunities vanished.

There is really no chance that the loans will be repaid. They should never have been offered and never should have been accepted. To stay afloat, the government has cut back on public services (except for the military) and the people have suffered. In the 2004 elections, the Greeks had not yet suffered enough to vote for the radical coalition led by the “Unity” (SYRIZA) party. Only 3.3 percent of the voters did.

Then, after the 2008 financial crash came years of worsening hardship, disapproval of all politicians and anger. It was popular anger, feeling misled by the bankers and by their own foolishness. There was also hopelessness as Greeks realized that they had no way out and began to turn to SYRIZA. After a series of failed attempts to secure a mandate, SYRIZA won the 2015 election with 36.3 percent of the vote and 249 out of 300 members of Parliament.

Today, the conditions that impelled that vote are even more urgent: the national income of Greece is down about 25 percent and unemployment among younger workers is over 50 percent. So where does that leave the negotiators?

Faced with German and EU demands for more austerity, the Greeks are angry. They have deep memories of hatred against the Germans (this time, not soldiers but bankers). They have been, time after time, traduced by their own politicians. Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras must know that if he is charged with a “sell-out,” his career is finished.

And the bail-out package offered by the International Monetary Fund and the European Central Bank is heavily weighted against Greece. Greeks also see their option of exiting the Euro as similar to stances taken by Britain and Sweden in not joining in the first place – although a painful adjustment for the Greek economy would be expected if Greece undertakes an unprecedented departure from the European currency.

However, unless the IMF and ECB offer a real chance for a better life for Greeks by forgiving most of the debts, I believe that the Greeks might well vote on Sunday to reject the austerity demands and leave the Euro.

Zionist Sisi Asking I$raHell to Bomb Gaza Again

Zionist Sisi May ‘Invite’ Nazi army to Strike ISIS in Gaza

Egyptian sources tells Zionist media that if ISIS conquest of Sinai spreads to Gaza, Zionist puppet Sisi may want Nazi regime to crack down on the enclave.

An Egyptian source has revealed that if after launching a brutal attack in Sinai the Islamic State (ISIS) terror group approaches Gaza, Zionist puppet Abdel Fattah al-Sisi may “invite” the Nazi army to strike it.

The source, who is “familiar with Egypt’s decision-making process,” told Haaretz on Thursday that Sisi may give the green light given that Gaza falls under Nazi responsibility.

“The two armies may already be coordinating in preparation for such a possibility,” revealed the source. “The Egyptian problem is that a military campaign inside Gaza could lead to breaking down the fences and a mass flight of civilians from Gaza to Sinai.”

The statement comes after Sinai Province, ISIS’s affiliate in the region, conducted a massive coordinated string of attacks on Wednesday that left over 50 Egyptian soldiers dead.

Sinai Province, which was formerly Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis before swearing allegiance to ISIS and changing its name, has reportedly captured the Sinai town of Sheikh Zuweid and has mined the roads to block Egyptian forces from entering.

ISIS may spread its control to the city of El Arish, and thereby encroach on Gaza, leading to the potential cooperation between Egypt and the Nazi army.

In a video on Tuesday, ISIS threatened to topple Hamas, and likewise threatened the “state of the Jews.”

Egypt has been willing in the past to confront Hamas, which is a Gazan offshoot of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood that Sisi’s government has violently been putting down.

Aside from imposing a siege on Gaza, Egypt has evacuated over 2,000homes on the Gaza border in occupying part ofsouthern Gaza and creating a buffer zone to block the smuggling of arms between Hamas and Sinai terrorists.

Haaretz notes that many of the Gazan evacuees, who were not compensated for their demolished homes or offered alternative housing, have moved to El Arish and Sheikh Zuweid, and may be tempted to join forces with ISIS, which pays comfortable wages to its members.

Zio-Nazi Officers Captured, Killed in Yemen Attacks

Tens of Zio-Nazi, Saudi Officers Killed in Yemen Missile Attacks

Tens of Israeli, Saudi Officers Killed in Yemen Missile Attacks Some 20 Zionist officers and 63 Saudi Zio-Wahhabi military men and officials were killed and many others taken captive in a special military operation of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement in Amir Khalid airbase in Southern Saudi Arabia, a top security official announced on Wednesday.

“The Ansarullah fighters backed by the Yemeni army hit Amir Khalid airbase in Khamees al-Mushait region in Southern Saudi Arabia with a scud missile and several Najm al-Saqeb (Striking Star) missiles last week, killing over 20 senior Zio-Nazi officers and 63 Saudi Zio-Wahhabi military men and capturing 35 others,” Mehdi Nasser al-Bashi told FNA on Wednesday.

He mentioned that the Zio-Nazi officers were agents of the Mossad spy agency and were in the region to help the Zio-Wahhabi army, and said, “At the time of the attack the Israeli officers were working on a plan to attack some regions of Yemen with prohibited Israeli-made weapons.”

The Yemeni army targeted Amir Khalid military base in Khamees al-Mushait region by Scud missiles last week. The Zio-Wahhabi army claimed that it had intercepted the Scud by two Patriot missiles, but the Arabic-language Al-Mayadeen news channel showed footage of the missile attack, reporting that it had hit the target. Following the attack the Zio-Wahhabi army evacuated the passenger terminals of two airports in nearby areas.

Later reports revealed that Zio-Wahhabi Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Muhammad bin Ahmed al-Shaalan had been killed in the missile attack. Earlier today, a senior commander of Ansarullah confirmed that the Yemeni popular forces and the army had killed the Zio-Wahhabi Air Force Commander in the missile attack.

“Shaalan was killed 5 days ago in the Yemeni army’s special operations against Amir Khalid airbase in Khamees al-Mushait border area in Saudi Arabia,” Colonel Salih Mohammad told FNA on Wednesday.

“The attack against Khalid airbase was waged by missiles and weapons systems that were not very special; the operation was planned by Ansarullah and the Yemeni army conducted it after Ansarullah provided it with the information about Muhammed Shaalan’s presence at Khalid airbase in Khamees al-Mushait,” he added.

Colonel Mohammad, meantime, said that the Yemeni army has also come in possession of advanced US-made weapons systems after capturing the Zio-Wahhabi Khalid airbase following the initial missile attack.

Last Wednesday, the official Zio-Wahhabi Press Agency quoting the Ministry of Defense declared the death of Lieutenant General Muhammad bin Ahmed al-Shaalan, but asserted that the commander had died of a heart attack during a work trip outside the kingdom.

Only a few hours later, informed sources in New York challenged the Zio-Wahhabi news agency’s report, and said the General had been killed in Yemen’s missile attacks. An informed Yemeni source who called for anonymity said in New York last Wednesday that “Shaalan was killed in the Yemeni army’s missile attacks against Saudi Arabia’s Khamees al-Mushait region five days earlier”.

Then later on Wednesday, another well-known Zio-Wahhabi source rejected the reports that Shaalan had died of a heart attack, and disclosed that his body was charred showing that he has been killed in an enemy attack.

Jamal Bean wrote on his Tweeter page that Shaalan and his accompanying team have been killed in the Yemeni army’s missile attack since their corpses were scorched by the fire of a blast.

Exclusive: Nazi General, Chechnyans Killed in Syrian Air Strike

Two Syrian Air Force strikes cripple Israel’s Operation Southern Storm. American military aid to Israel going to ISIS.

fff_440VT Exclusive Damascus Bureau Nahed Al Husaini and Gordon Duff, Senior Editor

On Friday, June 26th, a Syrian Air Force strike killed an Israeli general and 20 militant leaders including liaison staff from Saudi Arabia and Qatar.  This was one of two strikes in the region targeting foreign military forces operating inside Syria.

The second attack, according to Dr. Haitham Abu, of DESI (European Department of Security and Information), wiped out a Chechnyan sniper platoon recently arrived from training facilities inside Jordan.

Israel’s Operation Southern Storm, the long planned move on Damascus through Jordan has suffered a major setback.  Southern Storm was intended to be coordinated with attacks on Lebanon and a Turkish incursion into Syria from the north, scheduled for July 8, 2015 according to intelligence sources.

Both locations destroyed were supposed to be under, though inside Syria, extended Iron Dome air defense protection and impervious to attack.  American Patriot missile batteries had been relocated to forward positions to provide air cover and support for al Qaeda/ISIS operations under Southern Storm according to intelligence sources.

Both attacks were in Daara Province, Syria scene of months of intense fighting.  According to sources inside Syrian intelligence, the Israeli general killed was commander of Operation Southern Storm, a coordinated three pronged offensive aimed at the city of Daraa.

Yesterday, Daraa was hit with dozens of mortars and Grad rockets.

Operation Southern Storm is commanded from a MOC (military operations center) in the Jordanian city of al Karak.

Al Karak or al Karek is a city of 20,000 East of the Dead Sea, inside Jordan.  Famous for its crusader castle, al Karak is easily reached from Israel by helicopters that fly up the Wadi Karak to avoid detection.

The Moc at al Karac was built by Israeli intelligence and contains satellite uplink and full intelligence fusion facilities.  The”Moc” operates in coordination with 4 CIA training facilities inside Jordan and the massive intelligence and logistics center at the newly built Saudi Arabian “diplomatic” complex in Amman.

From al Karak, both the Israeli general and Chechnyan teams entered Syria at Nassib, a border crossing controlled by ISIS, south of the Syrian city of Daraa.

On the evening of June 25th, under close surveillance by both Syrian human and satellite intelligence, the Israeli command team traveled to Karaz Prison in southern Daraa Province, an ISIS command and logistics facility used to store supplies and transit jihadists arriving from Israel and Jordan.

There the Israeli general met with leaders of al Nusra, the “Victory Army, the Free Syrian Army, Brigades of al Muthana and al Ezz.  According to witnesses in attendance at the Israeli briefing, Israel thanked them for their service, promised continued intelligence, logistical and medical support and dined lavishly.

Plans were made to unleash a three pronged attack on Daara with 15,000 militants from 4 separate groups.

Shipments of Israeli TOW and LAAW missiles along with German Milan missiles had been delivered earlier that day, flown into Jordan from Israel and convoyed into Syria.  Some of these missiles were from Israeli stocks recently replaced by the United States after Israel claimed to have used them in attacks on Gaza.

In actuality, many of the munitions listed as expended in Gaza, weapons America promised to replace, had been sent to ISIS and used against Iraq and Syria.

From there, the Israeli general and up to 20 staffers moved to a secure villa a few miles away.  That location is now a smoking ruin.

According to sources in Damascus, the Syrian Air Force received accurate intelligence about both meetings and quickly moved and pounded both places. It is reported that the Syrian Air Force attack resulted in the killing of 80 militants, in addition to the commanders leaders numbered at 20 , the Israeli General, and the Chechnyans .

The Chechnyan sniper platoon was billeted in the town of Saida, Daara, Syria under tight security when it was hit by the air strike. Destroyed with the Chechnyans, said to be sent to target President Assad and other Syrian leaders, was a communications center.

On April 27, Syrian forces, attacking an al Nusra operational center outside Aleppo in Northern Syria.

Today, two Qatari and 6 Turkish officers were killed in a commando style raid by an elite Syrian Army special forces unit.  These officers were commanding al Nusra units that entered Syria in the past 8 hours from Turkey.  In addition to the Qatari and Turkish officers, two dozen senior al Nusra military and political officers were killed, the core of their command structure.

Similarly, attacks in Deir Ezzor on the along the Euphrates River in Eastern Syria along with these attacks are intended to disrupt command and control operations which representatives of the Syrian government assert may well be run out of Washington.

Two weeks ago, in a Washington Post report, it was revealed that congress was considering cutting the CIA’s $5bn “slush fund” used to finance operations against Damascus.

With the fall of Erdogan’s “political star” in Turkey and Saudi Arabia’s military setbacks in their war with Yemen and increasing political unrest inside Jordan, the quality of human intelligence coming out of these countries, outlining their support for the Islamic State and her “sisters,” is increasing exponentially in both quantity and quality.

With the attacks this week in Sinai killing at least one hundred, sources within Egypt indicate that their seeming detente with Israel and Saudi Arabia may well be coming to an end.  From the Jerusalem Post:

Israel closes the Niztana and and Karem Shalom border crossings Wednesday following military attacks in Egypt’s North Sinai that killed at least 50 in one of the biggest coordinated assaults in the insurgency-hit province.

Sources indicate that Egypt’s homegrown ISIS contingent may well be trained in Jordan as well and transited through Israel as the recent pattern of attacks supports.

Press Statement

Hamas’s Reflection on the Report of the UN Human Rights Commission of Inquiry on the Israeli 2014 Aggression on Gaza

The Islamic Resistance Movement of Hamas welcomes the Commission’s condemnation of the crimes Israel has committed against the Palestinian people. Yet, Hamas has notes on the UN report:
  1. Since the very beginning, Hamas welcomed the formation of the Commission, and agreed to cooperate and provide everything necessary to continue its work.
  2. The nature of the Commission’s formation and the resignation of its President William Schabas under Israeli pressures, clearly affected both the structure and the findings of the report.
  3.  The fact that Israel obstructed the Commission to arrive in Gaza in order to view and inspect the crimes scenes -Hamas has frequently demanded the commission to come to Gaza-  led to inaccurate findings. Moreover, to have the Commission conducted the investigation out of Gaza confirms it did not get to the truth.
  4. The Israeli obstruction of the Commission to arrive to Gaza strip and rejecting cooperation with the Commission prove that Israel has committed war crimes and is worried about being exposed by the fact-finding commission.
  5. Although the Israeli occupation refused to cooperate with the Commission and gave it no piece of information, the context of the report justifies the Israeli crimes. It also endorses the Israeli fabrication of some events published by media, which contradicts the right rules of any fair investigation, whereas fair-minded reports are not built on media claims only.
  6.  The report’s context is clearly biased in favor of the Israeli occupation. Most paragraphs relevant to the Israeli occupation include skeptical terms and lack of emphasis in spite of clear evidence of the crimes Israel has committed; yet, in paragraphs relevant to the Palestinian resistance, the context includes confirmed phrases and exaggerating terms despite factual evidence that they are untrue.
  7. The report deems killing of 6 Israeli civilians as a “tragic” result, but when it comes to the Palestinian side, it mentions that 2251 Palestinians have been killed without any description that such crime is a tragic act, which is another proof that  the report is biased.
  8. The Commission has its mission confused as it is a fact-finding commission but it intervenes in the Palestinian political matters (e.g. paragraph 17 of the executive summary), which is beyond the tasks it has been entrusted to fulfill.
  9. The Commission does not adhere to the international standards of distinction between civilian and military objects, and it does not present the specifications according to which the object can be identified as military. The commission believes the objects targeted by IOF were originally military, and when the Israeli attacks claim civilian casualties the report demands Israel to provide clues that indicate the target was military. Clearly, this is an illegal, vindicating and an unjust approach the commission had adopted, which proves once again that its report is biased to the Israeli occupation.
  10. The report ignores the explicit confessions on war crimes the Israeli soldiers and officers made during and after the aggression, in which they stated they had received direct instructions to  target  civilians. Many soldiers affiliated to the Israeli organization  of “Breaking the Silence” confirmed such Israeli orders. Moreover, the Israeli Minister of Justice Ayelet Shaked incited the Palestinian women and children to be slaughtered. Therefore, does the Commission adopt the pro-Israel media claims, while it ignores them if they support the assertions of the Palestinian resistance and condemn Israel?
  11. The report states that thousands of Israeli civilians suffered panic because of the Palestinian tunnels and projectiles. On the other hand, it fails to mention 1.8 million Palestinians in Gaza Strip who were under Israeli fire and suffered horror because of the continuous Israeli crimes and bombing during 51 days.
  12. The report states that IOF warned residents of the houses to be bombed using warning missiles, considering this as a sufficient and appropriate warning and not in violation of the international law and the laws of war. How come a missile becomes a tool of warning? Isn’t it a sort of disregard and disrespect for human life and human rights?
  13. The report pays no attention to the Israeli bombing of sites protected under the international law, including hospitals, schools, shelters, media institutions, crews of the civil defense and journalists. IOF targeted dozens of such facilities and institutions in a gross violation of the international laws and conventions.
  14. The report attempts to clear the Israeli occupation of the direct bombing of protected sites, such as hospitals and shelters. The report volunteers to claim that IOF targeted the surroundings of these facilities, despite the fact that the occupation refused to cooperate with the investigations, and despite the numerous documented such incidents, such as the targeting of Alwafa’a Rehab Hospital, Al-Aqsa hospital and Beit Hanoun UNRWA school which was used as a shelter by hundreds of evacuees under coordination between UNRWA and IOF.
  15. The report mentions the term (cycle of violence) repeatedly to refer to the Israeli aggression on Gaza, which diverts the aggression out of its legal, historical and political context as it is an aggression launched by occupying forces against an occupied people.
  16. Hamas has handed over the government to the national consensus government on June 2, 2014 a month before the Israeli aggression on Gaza on July 7, 2014. Therefore, Hamas rejects the report’s characterization of the Movement as a de facto authority in Gaza.
  17. In spite of the difficult operational and security conditions, the Palestinian resistance factions, Hamas on top of them, exerted every effort to spare civilians the repercussions of the Israeli aggression and destruction. On the contrary, the Israeli occupation deliberately targeted civilians and destroyed infrastructure although IOF uses high- tech weapons and advanced guided missiles, which aggravated causalities among civilians.
  18. The report ignores the fact that the Israeli occupation is the party that initiated the aggression on Gaza, forcing the Palestinian resistance to defend the Palestinian people and resist the aggression in consistence with international law.
  19. While is criticizes what it calls  “indiscriminate rockets” of the Palestinian resistance, the report does not comment on the weapons IOF used during the aggression on Gaza, although several international human rights and medical reports confirm that IOF used internationally prohibited weapons in the aggression as the bodies of the victims show.
  20. The report does not pay enough attention to the crimes and violations the IOF committs in the West Bank and the occupied city of  Jerusalem.
  21. The report mentions nothing on the crime of Israeli colonial settlement activities in West Bank and occupied Jerusalem or the issue of the  Palestinian detainees, all of which amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The report of the UN Human Rights Commission of Inquiry does not reflect the massive destruction caused by the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip, and it is   drafted in a biased approach that favors the Israeli occupation. It equates the Israeli executioner with the Palestinian victim, and justifies the war crimes Israel committed in Gaza.

Therefore, Hamas demands the UN Human Rights Council to:

  1. Clearly Condemn the Israeli occupation for it blocked the Commission from arriving to Gaza or reaching the scenes of the Israeli crimes to conduct a professional and fair investigation.
  2. Re-draft the report to include the war crimes Israel has committed, and charge the IOF of war crimes and crimes against humanity as well as crimes of genocide and aggression against a defenseless people. These crimes are enough ground to bring the Israeli criminal leaders to the ICC.
  3. Re-draft the report to include the right characterization of the Palestinian resistance as a legitimate resistance against the Israeli occupation in accordance with the international laws and conventions. The report must highlight the right of the resistance to defend the Palestinian people against the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
Finally, these notes remain preliminary until Hamas receives the final official Arabic version of the full report as well as the conclusions of the UNHRC.

Via Freedom Flotilla

It has been more than 50 hours since Israeli navy attacked the “Marianne” in international waters, 100nm from Gaza, during one of its usual acts of State piracy, always behaving as the bullying state of eastern Mediterranean. 18 participants on board were kidnapped and brought by force and against their will to the military Ashdod port. During the operation of seizure of the “Marianne”, which IDF called “uneventful”, Israeli soldiers used violence against participants on board.

Dr. Bassel Ghattas (Member of Knesset), Dr. Moncef Marzouki (ex-President of Tunisia), Ana Miranda (Member of European Parliament) and Ohad Hemo (Channel 2 journalist), were released and the rest were moved to Givon prison at Ramla area, where they remain hostages until this moment.
The Freedom Flotilla Coalition stands with all sailors of the “Marianne” who are illegally kept in the Israeli prison. We demand that the State of Israel immediately releases them and also returns the “Marianne of Gothenberg”. We demand that our governments condemn violence of the State of Israel against peaceful citizens and stand by the rights of the Palestinian people.
The remaining “Marianne” passengers still in Israeli prison are:

I feel morally obligated to speak out. I’m genuinely concerned about the actions of the Israeli Regime and the people of the Marianne crew. They are likely enduring torture right now. Their lives are in danger. That’s evident by the video footage you’ve seen above.
What you just watched is TORTURE. Taser’s can kill. Assaulted in international waters, this crew member from the Mamara was tasered by Israeli Regime Forces until he lost the ability to scream.
Call the snowy ‘white house.’ You can only leave a message for the president, but you can’t ask questions to the secretary who will answer your call at the Switchboard. So, be precise and persistent.
Hound them! It makes a difference, trust me I’ve seen it. Cowards fear most our unified voices! Give the Mamara crew justice and CALL the ‘white house.’

FREEDOM FLOTILLA TWO: Israeli ‘soldiers’ boarded the Mavi Mamara in an act of PIRACY at the highest levels of the Israeli “state” “board” in 2011 and ended up killing 9 innocent people. The Israeli ‘soldier’ depicted above was caught by foreign nationals and detained after boarding the Mamara in international waters. He was screaming like a wild beast, gnashing his teeth and hissing, as the foreign nationals disarmed him.
Weapons of war and weapons of self-defence are two difference things. Now again Israeli ‘pirate” Regime has committed Piracy at the highest levels. Piracy should not be tolerated by any of us. Breeches of international law are violations to all our freedom.
Being disarmed is a good lesson for a bully. But these Israeli’s are far worse than bully’s! THE HOLOCAUST DOES NOT JUSTIFY GENOCIDE. The Holocaust does not justify PIRACY either.

Mavi Mamara Freedom Flotilla TWO

9 people killed by Israeli Regime in an act of PIRACY aboard the Mavi Mamara, Freedom Flotilla Two. They sailed to Gaza, Palestine July 5th 2011.  This is ‘Israeli’ Genocide and Piracy.
