Zionist Takes Advantage Of Syrian Civil War To Expand Illegal Golan Heights Settlements

Some Zionist officials hope to force the U.S., and therefore the world community, to accept the illegal settlement expansions in order to mollify their displeasure over the Iran deal.

GOLAN HEIGHTS — Nazi regime is taking advantage of the chaos in Syria to expand its Zionist illegal settlements in the Golan Heights, just as new oil reserves were discovered in the contested region.

Nazi regime took control of the Golan Heights region, 460 square miles near the border with Syria, after the Six Days War in 1967. Israel soon began building settlements in the occupied region, displacing previous occupants, including the native Druze ethnic group. The Heights were officially annexed by Israel in 1981, and the expansion of occupation continues despite international opposition and multiple U.N. resolutions opposed to the growing settlements.

Now, Israel hopes to quintuple the size of its settlements over the next five years by adding an additional 100,000 settlers to the region. The plan was proposed by Naftali Bennett, a senior Israeli minister and member of the right-wing Jewish Home party, and, according to a report from The New York Times last week, Bennett is just one of “many Israeli leaders and thinkers seizing on the chaos in Syria to solidify Israel’s hold on the Golan.”

The proposal comes after months of fortification of the region by Israeli forces, alongside intensive exploration of the region’s energy reserves. Heather Hartlaub, a co-editor at Muftah, an independent news site dedicated to spreading English-language news of the Middle East, noted:

“Just two years ago, Israeli military engineers overhauled the forty-five mile border fence with Syria and replaced it with a steel barricade that includes barbed wire, touch sensors, motion detectors, infrared cameras, and ground radar, putting it on par with the Wall Israel has constructed in the West Bank.”

Major fossil fuel companies with both American and Israeli investors have also been pouring big money into the region. Afek Oil and Gas Company, a division of New Jersey-based Genie Energy, whose investors include some of the world’s richest moguls like Dick Cheney, Rupert Murdoch, and Jacob Rothschild, has a three-year contract to explore the Golan Heights for oil.

That contract seemed to have paid off last week, when a geologist for Genie Energy told Israel’s Channel 2 television of a major new discovery in the Heights, as reported by Haaretz:

“We’ve found an oil stratum 350 meters thick in the southern Golan Heights,” said Yuval Bartov, the chief geologist of, Genie’s Israeli unit, Afek Oil & Gas. “On average worldwide, strata are 20 to 30 meters thick, and this is 10 times as large as that, so we are talking about significant quantities.”

Reactions in the media range from celebrating the discovery’s potential to make Israel energy self-sufficient to concerns that it could spark a new war with Syria, while some experts caution that the size of the oil reserve has yet to be determined.

The United Nations and much of the global community still consider the land part of Syria, and Israel’s occupation of it to be illegal. The Times noted that Bennett and other, unnamed Israeli officials “say that international — or, at least, American — recognition of Israel’s 1981 annexation of the Golan would be an appropriate salve to Israeli security concerns in the wake of the nuclear deal with Iran.”

With the situation in Syria growing ever more unstable — instability that is actively supported by Israel and its Western allies who hope to control the region —  even the local Druze population is beginning to despair of ever regaining their home, according to representatives interviewed by The Times:

sana-hamaDAMASCUS:  With Syrian Army morale bobbing off the firmament, a new campaign to exterminate Alqaeda, ISIS and the Jaysh Al-Islam has begun.  It is so ferocious that Abu Muhammad Al-Jawlaani, Alqaeda’s leader in Syria, fresh from a bender in London, has declared he had the funds to offer a 3.4 million dollar reward for anyone who kills the president of Syria.  He also offered 2 million for the assassination of Hizbollah’s leader.  Gee, I wonder who gave him the money?  Now, what will the putative assassins do if the Alqaeda chieftain fails to pay?

Doumaa:  ‘Alloosh has not been heard from on the airwaves recently.  Some say he’s either dead or on the verge.  One source told me he is believed to be in Amman, Jordan, where quacks are giving him shots of laudanum for his “mood”.

Yesterday, at the Al-Imaan Mosque, a pack of Jaysh Al-Islam vermin relaxing in a command-control center were sent to Hell aboard their three 4-wheel-drive Toyotas:

Haamid Al-‘Abid

Zakwaan Subhiyya

Mudhar Khalfaan

Taariq Al-Luways

Muneer Idrees

Jaabir ‘Aqrooq

Muhannad Bakkaar

‘Irbeen North:  A truck with weapons and ammunition north of Abu Bakr Mosque was blown into so much mechanical parts:

Raashid Al-Zahraani

Iyaad Al-Daabiq

Harastaa:  The Jaysh Al-Islam group is becoming a laughing-stock.  East of the Mahaasini Mosque, they were caught prowling around looking for peanut bags:

Ilyaas Raajih

Ghiyaath Al-Jum’ah

‘Abdullah Al-‘Eesaawi

Jihaad Hazeema

‘Azeez Al-Fa’oor

‘Abdullah Daqmaaq

Another 4 could not be identified and are believed to be foreigners.

‘Ayn Turmaa:  West of the Ahl Al-Safaa` Mosque, 2 pickups with 23mm cannons belonging to the Jaysh Al-Islam were converted into piles of dross by the SAA and PDC:

Ghazwaan Al-Basala (IRAQI FERTILIZER PELLET AND SO-CALLED “expert” in explosives.  Well. He went up just like that.

Mansoor Al-Biqaa’iy

Ziyaad Al-Taweel

Hussayn Al-Dughaym

Ahmad Mujaahid

Jawbar:  The SAA has recorded several advances here over the last three days.  Yesterday and today the army took back the Reema Water Bottling Company and destroyed a command-control base while annihilating a communications center.

Jawbar:  The SAAF destroyed 2 tunnels with all the rats inside with a type of bomb not seen before in Syrian skies.

Heavy fighting reported in Zamalkaa, ‘Ayn Turmaa and Saqbaa, as I write.

The Zionist Khazar Entity is so upset over its failures to give meaningful support to the terrorist weasels of Alqaeda that it is now openly firing artillery at the Syrian Army to give cover to their escaping allies.

We can now declare Tal Ahmar to be totally rat-free as the SAAF delivered 15 stunning bolts of lighting yesterday before the SAA began its ground assault.  The group up here was Liwaa` Al-Sibtayn (i.e. The Two Israelite Tribes):

Mu’tassim Al-Tahhaan (Leader of the Israelite Tribe)

‘Alaa` Fathi Al-Waadi

‘Umar Naadir Al-Sa’eed

Burhaan Nawwaaf Al-Sadaqa

Raaghib ‘Umar Fustuq

Saamih Naseeb Al-Rasheed

Ayyoob Nijm Muhammad Daraawisha

Bilaal Futayh

Ahmad Muhammad Al-Suwaydaani

Muhannad Hussayn Al-Turshaan

Another 30 or more rats were seen being airlifted by Zionist cockroaches to quack hospitals in the Golan.

Ansarullah Leader: Yemen Defends its Dignity and Independence

(FILE) Ansarullah Leader: Yemen Defends its Dignity and Independence
The leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement Abdul-Malik al-Houthi during a television broadcast on Tuesday announced that in the face of Saudi Zio-Wahhabi regime relentless attacks his countrymen will defend their land and will not sacrifice their “dignity” and “independence.”
""Today there is an invasion and attempts to occupy this country, and it is of importance that the Yemeni people are aware of this truth that there are those who wish to control this country," said Abdul-Malik al-Houthi during a television broadcast on Tuesday."

He  said that Washington and Riyadh are responsible for the suffering of the people in the region, and that the Zionist regime and Saudi Zio-Wahhabi regime were “a shared entity in a single project.”

Referring to the Zio-Wahhabi war on Yemen, he noted that “everyone must move to the front lines.”

Earlier on Tuesday, Saudi Zio-Wahhabi army carried out over 100 airstrikes throughout the north western Sa’ada province. In one of the raids, a woman and child lost their lives.

At least five people were killed and several more injured when jets targeted regions around the capital Sana’a. Several residential areas were also bombed in the western province of Hudaydah.

Yemen has been under military strikes on a daily basis since Saudi Zio-Wahhabi forces launched their military aggression against the country on March 26.

About 6,400 people have reportedly lost their lives in the I$raHell, Zio-Wahhabi air strikes, and a total of nearly 14,000 people have been injured since March. According to the United Nations Children’s Fund, over 500 children have been among the fatalities.

UN Condemns Call for Backing War in Syria by Saudi Zio-Wahhabi Clerics

UN Condemns Call for Backing War in Syria by Saudi Clerics’
UN Condemns Call for Backing War in Syria by Saudi Zio-Wahhabi Clerics’
Jennifer Welsh, the United Nations special adviser on the responsibility to protect and Adama Dieng, the UN special adviser on the prevention of genocide have condemned a recent call by Saudi Zio-Wahhabi clerics for backing a “Holy war” against Shia Muslims and Christians in Syria and have call it “morally wrong and prohibited.”

Dozens of Saudi Zio-Wahhabi clerics, in a statement released on October 5, called for supporting the war against the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad as well as Iran and Russia, which are backing Syria in its fight against terrorism.

“Give all moral, material, political and military” support to the war against the Syrian government and its Iranian and Russian backers, Reuters quoted the Saudi Zio-Wahhabi clerics as saying in the statement.

The clerics also referred to the terrorists committing crimes against humanity in Syria as the “holy warriors” who are “defending” the Arab country, and called for trusting them “because if they are defeated… it will be the turn of one Sunni country after another.”

Al Al-Sheikh Senior Ugly Wahhabi Mufts of Zionist Al-Saud Family

Adama Dieng, the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon’s special adviser on the prevention of genocide and Jennifer Welsh, the UN special adviser on the responsibility to protect, slammed in a statement on Tuesday the call by the clerics in Saudi Arabia and expressed their alarm at the rise in violent rhetoric by influential religious leaders.

““Such rhetoric can aggravate the already extremely volatile situation in Syria by drawing religiously motivated fighters to join all parties to the conflict, thus escalating the risk of violence against religious communities,” said the advisers in a statement, adding that “advocacy of religious hatred to incite or justify violence is not only morally wrong, but also prohibited under international law.””

The UN officials also stressed that “religious leaders should be the messengers of peace, not of war”, calling on religious leaders around the world to refrain from any form of advocacy of religious hatred and incitement to violence.

“In situations in which tensions are high, as in Syria, religious leaders should call for and foster restraint and dialog, rather than fanning the flames of hatred,” they said.

The developments come as Iraq, Iran, Syria and Russia have formed an intelligence-sharing center in the Iraqi capital in their fight against Takfiri terrorists wreaking havoc mainly in Syria and Iraq.

Since September 30, Russia has been conducting airstrikes against the positions of the terrorists across Syria upon a request from the Damascus government; Press TV reported.

Bahrainis Protest against Al Khalifa Regime’s Trials of Human Rights Activists

Sheikh Ali Salman, the prominent leader of the main opposition block al-Wefaq National Islamic Society of Bahrain
Sheikh Ali Salman, the prominent leader of the main opposition block al-Wefaq National Islamic Society of Bahrain
Bahraini participants in the rallies held in different regions of Bahrain on Tuesday condemned the Manama Zionist puppet regime’s move to prosecute and imprison opposition figures and civil rights activists.

In response, the Zionist puppet Bahraini security forces fired tear gas and shotgun pellets at protesters to suppress the demonstrations.

Al-Alam Arabic language news network quoted Bahrain Human Rights Watch as saying that over the past week, the Zionist puppet Al Khalifa regime has made 13 cases of arbitrary arrests.

In a report released in late September, the Bahrain Center for Human Rights (BCHR) announced that 39 people, including 5 children, had been arrested by the regime’s security forces from September 14 to 20.

The group further called on the Al Khalifa regime to stop the “cruel” arrests and release all political prisoners.

In March 2015, Bahrain witnessed 272 arrests on political grounds, which was the highest number in the 12-month period, the report said.

Zionist puppet regime of Bahrain, a close ally of the US in the Persian Gulf region, has been witnessing almost daily protests against the ruling Al Khalifa dynasty since early 2011, with Manama using heavy-handed measures in an attempt to crush the demonstrations.

Scores of Bahrainis have been killed and hundreds of others injured and arrested in the ongoing crackdown on the peaceful demonstrations.

Bahraini opposition groups have unanimously called for the release of all the jailed political dissidents, stressing that only a political solution, and not the use of force, would end the political crisis in the Persian Gulf state; Tasnimnews Agency reported.

Zionist puppet Gulf States Negotiating to Buy Nazi Iron Dome System

Image result for SAUDI ISRAELI FLAG
Zionist puppet regime in Bahrain and other members of the C.I.A puppet Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) are in negotiations to buy the Nazi-developed Iron Dome anti-missile system to defend against WHAT they call “a growing arsenal of Iranian missiles”.

Nazi weapon would be bought through Raytheon and other American contractors who developed the Iron Dome with Nazi arms giant Rafael.

A deal for the whole of the Zionist puppet PGCC, which includes Saudi Zio-Wahhabi family and the rest of the Zionist puppet like United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait, would be worth tens, perhaps hundreds, of billions of dollars.

It is reported that it would also include longer range interceptor missiles such as David’s Sling, and the Arrow I and Arrow II which are claimed capable of intercepting supersonic intercontinental ballistic missiles – also a joint venture between Nazi regime and the US.

According to  the collection of data for Iron Dome’s performance in July 2014 (last Gaza Holocaust) is still in progress. The data we have collected so far indicates the performance of Iron Dome has not markedly improved.

A photo from November 2012 shows Iron Dome interceptor contrails that suggest ineffective sidelong or rear approaches to the target rocket.

“The sale of Israeli-developed weapons to a Persian Gulf state, or states, would have been controversial for both the Israelis and the buyers a few years ago.But both now see one of the main threats to them as the growing military strength of Iran, Sky News reports.”

The US is quietly playing the “middle man” in the deal as a sweetener to bitterness caused in the Persian Gulf over what the leadership in that region believe is a “naive” deal with Iran over its nuclear programme.

“Iran has been trying to undermine and topple government in our region for years,” the Bahrain foreign minister claimed.

He said that Iran’s precision missile capacity was certain to increase as a consequence of the lifting of sanctions following the internationally brokered agreement with Tehran to end its nuclear activity.

“”They will put a lot of money into this programme to develop techniques and tactics to defeat our missile defences … the strategy appears to be one of saturation to stockpile enough missiles to overwhelm any defence system we build in the Persian Gulf,” he added.”

As a result of this perceived threat, plans to buy Nazi weapons, via the US, would result in a profits bonanza for both American and Israeli firms.

Talks are understood to be well advanced.

One senior Gulf government source said: “If Netanyahu were not making less of a mess of things and was more like Anwar Sadat (who signed a peace deal for Egypt with Israel) then we would be happy to buy the missiles straight from Israel.”

Led by Saudi Arabia, PGCC nations are locked in a bloody conflict with Shi’a Houthi Popular  Movement in the Yemen.

“As a Iran -Russian crescent of influence is seen spreading across the Middle East so persianGulf States have been privately reaching out to the old enemy to Israel.”

The PGCC’s fears of an Iranian threat increasing when sanctions are lifted has been further deepened by Tehran’s growing alliance with Moscow which, like Iran, has come to the military defence of the Syria.

As a Iran -Russian crescent of influence is seen spreading across the Middle East so persianGulf States have been privately reaching out to the old enemy to the Nazi regime.

Now with a potentially massive arms sale, those relations are begin to emerge from the shadows of regional rivalries.

Palestinian Teen Shot by Nazi Gestapo Left to Bleed to Death

Teen Palestinian Boy Shot by Nazi Gestapo Left to Bleed to Death
A recent grisly video shows Palestinian teen shot by Nazi left to succumb to his injuries and soldiers watch him bleed to death.

The slain boy, identified as Ahmad Saleh Manasra, was filmed bleeding on the ground near the illegal Nazi settlement of Pisgat Zeev in East al-Quds (Jerusalem) on Monday after some Nazi Jewish settlers chased him while soldiers arrived and shot him, claiming he had allegedly stabbed a Nazi Jewish settler. Nazi Police, however, have not yet proved the claim.

While Manasra was bleeding heavily on the ground, some Zionist bystanders shouted a mixed of Arabic and Hebrew obscenities at him.

Nazi soldiers and the passersby did not give the boy any first aid or comfort as he was dying from his wounds on the sidewalk with his lungs audibly filled with blood as he tried to speak and call for help.

Ahmad Saleh Manasra

Nazi police member even kicked him back on the ground for a second time when the kid tried hard to raise his body and an onlooker was heard saying to police to “give him one shot in the head.”

An ambulance showed up at last but medics did not appear to take any measures to help the bleeding boy, except walking around idly to kill more time.

Manasra was finally taken to a nearby hospital after losing much blood, where he succumbed to his wounds.

The video has ignited shock even among Palestinians who are regularly exposed to the appalling atrocities inflicted on them by Israeli military and the extremist settlers.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, at least 30 Palestinians have been killed by Nazi Gestapo forces between October 1 and 13.

The recent deadly tension between the Tel Aviv regime and Palestinians was triggered by Nazi imposition of sweeping restrictions on entries into the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in East al-Quds on August 26 and Nazi Jewish settlers’ repeated attacks on the mosque.

Palestinians are furious at the Nazi Jewish settler violence and a plan by Nazi to change the status quo of the mosque that is Islam’s third holiest site after Masjid al-Haram in Mecca and Masjid al-Nabawi in Medina. The site is also highly respected by Jews and Christians.

International condemnations have poured in over the Nazi Gestapo crackdown, with senior Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh calling the recent spate of clashes between Palestinians and Nazi regime in West Bank and East al-Quds an “Intifada (uprising)” against the Tel Aviv regime. Zionist puppet Mahmoud Ab-A$$ has also warned the Nazi regime of another Intifada over Tel Aviv’s provocations in the al-Aqsa Mosque compound; Press TV reported.

Flush With Cash, Right-Wing Extremists Train the Future Zealots of Pro-Nazi Campus Activism

By Max Blumenthal and Julia Carmel, AlterNet

The following is Part II of a four-part investigation that was originally published onAlterNet. (Read Part I here.)

When David Horowitz appeared in Rancho Palos Verdes, California for his lavish annual West Coast Retreat on March 6, the launch of the shadowy Canary Mission website was just weeks away. Speaking before hundreds of ultra-conservatives, Horowitz set the tone for the weeks to come: “It’s kind of obvious [that] the Jews are the canaries in the mine,” Horowitz proclaimed. “The canaries were taken by miners, as you know, into the mines, and when the canary died you knew there was gas in the mine and you’d better get out. So the Jews are there to identify the threat.”

Horowitz described for the assembled activists what he saw as the greatest threats to Jews. The danger, he said, started with the Muslim Students Association (MSA), a campus group he described as “a recruitment organization for the Muslim Brotherhood” with secret ties to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign through her aide, Huma Abedin, whom he called “a Muslim Brotherhood operative.” According to Horowitz, the MSA and another student group composed largely of Arab and Muslim-Americans, Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), were behind a supposed epidemic of anti-Semitism that had put Jewish college students at risk across America.

Funded to the tune of $10 million by right-wing foundations, the David Horowitz Freedom Center is a key financial conduit to extreme anti-Palestinian and Islamophobic organizations. Among those who have received funding through the Horowitz Freedom Center is Pamela Geller’s American Freedom Defense Initiative. Geller, an aggressively self-promoting Islamophobic Zionist who was named in a recent FBI report as an ideological catalyst of far-right extremism, has spent much of this year waging court battles to allow her to purchase advertisements on public buses and subways that read, “Islamic Jew Hatred: It’s in the Quran.” (In order to keep Geller’s “Draw Muhammad” ad campaign out of the city, Washington DC’s Transit Authority banned all political advertising).

More than perhaps any other conservative activist, Horowitz has revived the tactics most familiar to the late Senator Joseph McCarthy in order to undermine progressive political movements. “McCarthy was right about the presence of Communists posing as liberals…virtually all of McCarthy’s victims were Communists (and lied about being Communists),” Horowitz wrote in “Left Illusions,” a book-length defense of McCarthyism. His error-laden book, “The Professors: The 101 Most Dangerous Academics in America,” amounts to a blacklist of left-wing and liberal professors who supposedly “say they want to kill white people,” “support Osama bin Laden,” “advocate killing ordinary Americans,” and “defend pedophilia,” according to Horowitz. Horowitz’s website, Discover The Networks, published dossiers of progressive public figures and linked them to “Jihad” and the Muslim Brotherhood. His lurid allegations of a dark alliance between American progressives and radical Islamists have formed the basis for the tactics he is now using to demonize the Palestine solidarity movement. And his extreme “Jew Hatred on Campus” initiative has received promotion from Canary Mission.

Horowitz is a former radical leftist who emerged as a leading conservative organizer during the Reagan era. A former Stalinist raised without any connection to Jewish religion by Communist academics blacklisted by McCarthy, Horowitz became an ardent promoter of the North Korean Communist regime before turning hard right. His dogmatism was unaffected by his conversion. His transformation, meanwhile, has been wildly profitable, earning him millions of dollars from conservative donors including the Koch brothers. He showed little interest in the Middle East or Israel before the terrorist attacks of September 11. Afterward, in an autobiographical reflection on his own sense of mortality, Horowitz likened his deceased father to Mohammed Atta, one of the suicidal hijackers. In the post-9/11 era, Horowitz has focused his energy on whipping up the conservative movement with Islamophobia through campus-based initiatives like “Islamofascism Awareness Week,” where he attempted to explain how “the Left is in league with Islamofascists.” His Islamophobia campaigns have gained him and his groups millions more dollars from right-wing funders, some of which he funneled to the Dutch neo-fascist politician Geert Wilders. Despite his self-proclaimed fervent devotion to Israel, Horowitz has never bothered to visit the country.

Early this year, Horowitz introduced an initiative that would join the smear tactics that had earned him so much notoriety—and money—with the campaign to crush BDS, or the international grassroots campaign to boycott, divest from and sanction Israel until it abides by international law. Calling it “Jew Hatred on Campus,” Horowitz introduced a project that aimed to blacklist colleges with “the worst anti-Semitic activity” while painting Students for Justice in Palestine as a hate group. At the same time, Horowitz’s organization plastered campuses with posters depicting a public execution by Hamas of prisoners accused of spying for Israel’s security services. The posters read: “Students For Justice in Palestine #JewHaters.” (Horowitz only took credit for the campaign after the posters ignited a furor).

One of Horowitz’s chief funders, the Boston-based tech baron Robert Shillman, also helps bankroll Pamela Geller’s Islamophobic poster campaign and her deliberately provocative road show. A trustee at his alma mater of Northeastern University, Shillman has attempted to leverage his multi-million dollar donations to pressure the school into banning its chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine. Through his Shillman Fellowship, he has sponsored the careers of many of the zealots nurtured in Horowitz’s hothouse.

One of the most prolific Shillman-backed writers is Ben Shapiro, a would-be pundit and founder of the far-right online outlet called Truth Revolt, which is operated and funded through the David Horowitz Freedom Center. The website’s stated aim is to “unmask leftists in the media for who they are, destroy their credibility with the American public, and devastate their funding bases.” It has become a center for attacks on student BDS activists and liberal pro-Israel students, publishing material by right-wing students being groomed by the Israel lobby for advocacy careers.

Back in 2003, when he was still a student at UCLA, Shapiro called for the ethnic cleansing of all Palestinians living between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. “If you believe that the Jewish state has a right to exist, then you must allow Israel to transfer the Palestinians and the Israeli-Arabs from Judea, Samaria, Gaza and Israel proper,” Shapiro wrote. More recently, Shapiro dedicated a column to a theme he would return to repeatedly in his tirades against the Black Lives Matter movement: “The racism of the black community.”

While other conservative organizers have attempted to recruit minorities into the ranks of the Republican Party, Horowitz has instead provided a sympathetic forum at his FrontPageMag for Jared Taylor, a leading white nationalist who argues that blacks and Latinos are genetically inferior to whites. Horowitz has editorialized that African-Americans owe white America a debt of gratitude for ending slavery and granting them “the most thoroughly protected rights anywhere.” This year, as protests against police brutality erupted in Ferguson, Missouri, Horowitz declared that “there’s no community in America that’s more racist than the black community.”

At his West Coast Retreat last March, Horowitz announced his “guerrilla campaign” against Palestine solidarity activism on campus. Complaining that conservatives too often shy from “very dirty warfare,” he declared that “negative advertising works. By focusing the conversation on their negatives, it takes attention away from ours.”

Nazareth –  The violence rocking the occupied West Bank, East Jerusalem and now Gaza is on the verge of spilling into Israel, Palestinian leaders in Israel warned.

A wave of unrest has swept Palestinian towns in Israel over recent days, withrepeated clashes  with Israeli police in Nazareth, Jaffa, Lod, Ramle, Taibeh, Sakhnin, Rahat, Kfar Qassem and elsewhere. Dozens of protesters have been arrested.

On Thursday, Palestinians declared a day of rage, police fired tear gas and stun grenades and led baton charges against several hundred protesters in Nazareth, the largest Palestinian city in Israel. Sixteen demonstrators, five of them minors, were arrested.

“We want the world to see the reality of what is going on here. The massacres and the discrimination have to end,” said Dima Kfeeny, 20, who added that people had come to protest peacefully. Her cousin was one of the 13 demonstrators killed 15 years ago at the start of the second Intifada.

“We have not forgotten what happened,” she added. “We know Israel can turn violent towards us at any moment.

Israel’s Palestinian minority, a fifth of the population, have been angered by Israeli restrictions on access to al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, Palestinian casualties in the occupied territories and frustration at systematic discrimination inside Israel, say community leaders.

There is a hyper-militarised culture of incitement and belligerence in Israel. We are still viewed by the state and much of the Israeli public as enemy combatants rather than citizens.Mohammed Zeidan, Director of Human Rights Association in Nazareth

On Friday, similar clashes erupted again in many towns at night, and again on Saturday, after a video showed security forces shooting Israa Abed, a 30-year-old mother-of-three from Nazareth, in the nearby town of Afula in northern Israel.

Abed, who was badly wounded, was reported to have tried to stab a security guard at a bus station. Footage  showed her standing alone and largely immobile before being shot.

In a video  that emerged on Saturday, showing her lying injured on the ground, a pair of sunglasses is visible next to her, but no knife.

Bassel Ghattas, a member of the Israeli parliament for the Arab party, the Joint List, said Abed’s treatment showed “the police and media are encouraging cold-blooded executions of Arab citizens”.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced  on Saturday night that 2,000 paramilitary police would be deployed immediately in Israel and Jerusalem.

The Border Police, which operates chiefly in the occupied territories, are to be placed at flashpoints in Israel, including cities where Jewish and Palestinian citizens live near each other.

Concerns about aggressive policing have been underscored by a government decision to relax live-fire regulations in Israel and Jerusalem against demonstrators, including children, who throw stones.

Palestinian leaders in Israel fear that police violence could quickly lead to a repeat of events in October 2000, at the start of the second intifada. Then, security forces killed 13 unarmed Palestinian citizens across the Galilee and injured hundreds more in a few days of confrontations.

Relations between the two populations have not recovered since.

“There is a hyper-militarised culture of incitement and belligerence in Israel,” Mohammed Zeidan, director of the Human Rights Association in Nazareth, told Al Jazeera. “We are still viewed by the state and much of the Israeli public as enemy combatants rather than citizens.”

There have also been indications of the first settler-style, vigilante attacks inside Israel.

A Jewish youth was reported on Friday to have stabbed four Palestinians, two of them Israeli citizens, in the southern Israeli town of Dimona.

Three Palestinian-Israeli youths were also severely beaten  in the central city of Netanya in what police described as an attempted lynching.

Crowds of Israeli Jews chanting “Death to the Arabs”, common in Jerusalem for some time, have been reported with increasingly frequency in Israeli cities in recent days.

Last week Jerusalem’s mayor, Nir Barkat, called  on all Israeli civilians who own a firearm to carry it at all times and be ready to use it.

Meanwhile, the Israeli government has raised the temperature for Israel’s Palestinian minority at al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

On Sunday, Netanyahu said  a Palestinian MP, Haneen Zoabi, would be investigated for incitement, after quoting an interview in which he said she had urged hundreds of thousands of Palestinians to converge on al-Aqsa to create a “popular Intifada”.

Days earlier, Netanyahu banned  Palestinian members of the Israeli parliament from entering the mosque for the first time, in what he called a move to “restore calm”. Ahmed Tibi, a Joint List MP, told  the Jerusalem Post newspaper Netanyahu was “adding fuel to the fire”.

The government has also threatened a crackdown against the Islamic Movement in Israel, which has taken an increasingly central role at al-Aqsa since 2000. Most Palestinians in the occupied territories face restrictions preventing them from entering Jerusalem.

The Islamic Movement has repeatedly accused Israel of planning a takeover of the site.

Netanyahu said  he was ready to take “aggressive steps” against the group. “Nobody will be immune,” he added.

Zaki Aghbaria, an Islamic Movement spokesman, told Al Jazeera: “Israel fears us because we defend the rights of all Palestinians at al-Aqsa. But we will not be intimidated. Netanyahu has no authority there.”

Human rights groups in Israel have decried “repressive measures” being taken by the Israeli police to try to end the wave of protests in Israel.

Adalah, a Palestinian legal rights group in Israel, said that, in addition to the large number of arrests at demonstrations, police had made a series of unlawful “preventive arrests” of political activists before the protests took place.

Police detained nine youths who they said were planning Thursday’s demonstration in Nazareth, accusing them of intending to organise a riot.

Suhad Bishara, a lawyer with Adalah, told Al Jazeera: “This is a very dangerous development. These are clearly political arrests. Israel has used this measure before, but not in such a sweeping manner as now.”

She added that in an unprecedented move, police had also briefly detained the fathers of several protest organisers. “This is a clear attempt to intimidate their families. The police are acting like they are above the law.”

Police barred a dozen buses from entering Nazareth on Thursday to prevent protesters from across the Galilee from joining the rally. The drivers were issued with house arrests.

In a statement, Adalah said the police were “taking advantage of the political situation and the spirit of racism to persecute, suppress, scare, threaten and silence a legitimate political protest”.

Micky Rosenfeld, a police spokesman, told Al Jazeera: “The police are carrying out operations on many fronts, and these security measures are needed to ensure the public remains safe.”

Awad Abdelfattah, a leading member of the High Follow-Up Committee, the main umbrella body for Palestinian citizens of Israel, told Al Jazeera that the protests in Israel reflected growing solidarity between Palestinian youth in Israel and the occupied territories.

“It is becoming clear to the young people here that they are being colonised, too, and left with nothing. The killings in the occupied territories have ignited the rage they already feel.”

“Israeli policies are pushing us to unite with the Palestinians in the occupied territories in one common strategy of resistance.”

At Thursday’s demonstration in Nazareth, which ended in clashes, Hana Daher, a 14-year-old student, said she was there because “my brothers and sisters are being killed. Israel is a terrorist state, but we will not be silenced. Change must come”.

Nazi tore Fadi Alloun’s family apart; then it killed him

Last week, Fadi Alloun celebrated his 19th birthday with friends in Issawiyeh, a village in occupied East Jerusalem. He was thrilled that he had recently obtained a driving license. As a birthday gift, his father promised to help him buy a car.

Fadi had no stable job but was eager to find enough paid work so that he could realize this dream.

Five days later, Fadi was slain by militarized Israeli police in the Musrara neighborhood, beside Jerusalem’s Old City.

The Israeli police claim Fadi had tried to stab an Israeli teenager. But video evidence from the scene of Fadi’s killing on Sunday does not corroborate this claim.

Rather, the videos show the Israeli police executing Fadi in cold blood. A group of Israeli Jews was filmed rejoicing at his death.

Fadi’s family insisted that the stabbing accusation was just an excuse used by Israel to try and provide some “justification” for his slaying.

“If he’d tried to stab a settler, we wouldn’t hide it,” said Haya Alloun, one of Fadi’s eight aunts. “Palestinian youth have every right to resist those who occupy our land. But I’m sure that he didn’t and you can be sure of this by watching the videos.”

Fadi’s experience with Israel’s apartheid system began when he was less than two years old.

His mother, who carried a Jordanian passport, travelled to Amman at that time to visit her sick father, taking Fadi’s younger brother with her.

The Israeli authorities banned her from returning to Jerusalem, tearing the family apart. For nearly 18 years, Fadi was unable to see his mother and brother. He could only talk to them on the phone or via the Internet.

Even after his death, the Israeli authorities have not yet granted his mother and brother a permit to pay Fadi a final farewell.

Because of the ban imposed on his mother, Fadi was raised by his father as an only child. His father, in his turn, refused to marry again, entirely devoting himself to his son, whom he described as “my heart and soul and everything in my life.”

“He was everything to me, the most precious thing in my life,” Samir Alloun, Fadi’s father, told The Electronic Intifada. “I was his father, his mother and his best friend. Our relationship was very special.”

Gifted singer

Fadi was a talented photographer and loved sports, especially running and swimming. As a child, his father took him to swimming pools in Ramallah every weekend where the pair spent some of their happiest moments together.

Fadi was a gifted singer. Not only did he regularly raise the call to prayer in the Issawiyeh Martyrs Mosque, he also recited the Quran and sang during family events.

During trips with friends, Fadi would be the first to take the mic in the bus. He would entertain with both songs and jokes.

“Whenever he saw that I wasn’t feeling well, he tried to do anything that cheered me up,” said his father Samir.

The cruelty of Fadi’s death is compounded by the fact that Israel has not yet handed over his remains to his family.

Initially, the Israeli authorities insisted that the family pay 20,000 shekels ($5,200) to receive his body. Israel also stipulated that no more than 70 people may attend his funeral.

The dispute now centers on where Fadi will be buried. The family wants him to be interred in the cemetery at Bab al-Zahara, a short distance from he was killed. Fadi’s grandmother and other relatives have been buried there.

The Israeli authorities are ordering that the burial takes place in Issawiyeh to avoid clashes near the Old City.

“They killed him twice”

The wait for his son’s body is proving extremely painful for Samir Alloun.

“I will not feel any semblance of relief until I can bury my son’s body with my own hands and honor him according to our religious customs,” Samir said.

“They have killed him twice,” said Haya, Fadi’s aunt. “First, when they brutally shot him on Sunday and now as they continue to delay his funeral and hold his body captive. Every delay is a new violation of Fadi’s body. Is it not enough for them that they unjustly kill him? Why are they still detaining him and torturing his father?”

On Monday, the family was informed that they would be given Fadi’s body and that the burial was to take place in the Shuafat neighborhood of East Jerusalem. Residents set up a mourning tent and waited for hours only to be told by the police that the burial will be delayed.

A few hours after Fadi’s slaying, Israeli forces raided his family’s home in Issawiyeh.

“They smashed the door and vandalized the property,” said Nada, another aunt of Fadi, who was at the home during the attack. They beat the women and broke into Fadi’s room with police dogs.”

Fadi’s father and uncle were also briefly detained and interrogated.

During his short life, Fadi had become accustomed to Israeli harassment.

He was arrested twice for alleged stone throwing. On both occasions he was released without charge.

Fadi’s friends and relatives are trying to console his father.

“Fadi was loved by everyone and this support means a lot to me,” said Samir. “But I have lived my entire life for him. I do not know how I will go on without him.”
