Hundreds in Berlin protest horrific, inhumane treatment of refugees

Christopher Dreier

Protest at LaGeSo against conditions facing refugees
On the evening of November 29 hundreds of people demonstrated outside the Berlin refugee registration centre, the State Office for Health and Social Affairs (LaGeSo), to protest against the inhumane treatment of refugees. The demonstration was organized at short notice by volunteers from the group “Night before LaGeSo” via Facebook and was supported by other groups, including “Moabit Helps”.Many of the demonstrators, who gathered despite pouring rain, brought homemade signs and banners bearing slogans such as “Refugee crisis? No, a management crisis!” “First welcome, then (allowed to) freeze” and “Stop the shameless spectacle”.

Rebecka, a student at Humboldt University who regularly helps refugees, came to the demonstration because she regards the conditions at LaGeSo as scandalous. “The behaviour of the Berlin Senate can only be described as institutional racism”, she said. “The temperature has dropped and the first fatality is only a matter of time. This can only be explained by the fact that people are to be forced to quit Berlin.”

A similar assessment was to be heard from almost everyone aware of the conditions prevailing at LaGeSo and who had decided to attend the demonstration. For months, hundreds of refugees have been forced to wait for hours at the gates of the site in all weather conditions, to sign up for an asylum procedure or receive vital provisions. Those forced to queue include many sick persons, the elderly and children.

Although the initial registration of refugees has now been outsourced, many still wait at the LaGeSo premises for transport to the new application centre in Bundesallee. Hundreds also wait day after day to obtain a guarantee of payment for accommodation in a hostel, a medical certificate or other essential social services.

LaGeSo’s Kafkaesque numbering system has collapsed, and so it is now basically: first come, first served. This deliberately created situation means that people begin queuing in the evening and then spend the night in front of LaGeSo in the hope of securing an appointment the next day.

On the Facebook page Moabit Helps a hostel operator tells of refugees who failed to receive an appointment although they had queued overnight for an entire week. As a result the hostel received no income and the operators do not know how to continue to finance their property. When the operator sought to clarify the matter with LaGeSo she was immediately confronted with the miserable conditions prevailing at the centre: “I was approached by dozens of weeping people, pleading for help. There were men weeping, completely exhausted and desperate. They thought I worked there,” she related.

It is not uncommon for people to wait for weeks at LaGeSo to obtain an appointment. Heated tents were erected on the grounds of the building, but they can only be entered at 4 a.m., when the premises officially open. Prior to that time those waiting can only observe the empty heated tents from a place on the ground in front of the premises, squatting or sitting in rain or snow.

When the gates are finally opened a mass of desperate people then rush in. Helpers report of bone fractures and other injuries in the melee.

Employees of the attendant security firm have reacted aggressively. “One gets the impression of frightened animals being forced through a gate, with wrangling and pushing”, declared one witness on Facebook. “Some want to get to the front, there is pushing. One of the group who was not aggressive was pulled out, then he has lost his place. And he hopes that his sister, 15 meters away in the women’s queue, has a chance. For him it’s all over.”

The guards of the Gegenbauer security company have been credited with a number of violent attacks on refugees. But the company only officially withdrew its services after one German newspaper published a video from the break room at LaGeSo, which showed one company employee railing against refugees and those helping them in a fascist rant. Until a replacement company is found, refugees still confront Gegenbauer personnel.

In the video, the security employee demands that refugees “be swept out of the country”, “while their helpers and do-gooders who talk big” should be locked away in a concentration camp. “And we still have plenty of summer camps. I swear they can be used again. Over the gates, Arbeit macht frei [Work makes you free]”—the notorious slogan over the camps and gas chambers of the Nazis. The man went on to express his support for the racist Pegida movement and the far-right Alternative for Germany, AfD.

“Refugee crisis? Crisis of management!”
The fact that the situation at LaGeSo has not yet escalated and led to further deaths is exclusively due to the efforts of hundreds of volunteers who work day and night to mitigate the brutal policies of the Berlin Senate.Moabit Helps supports the refugees with food, hot drinks, clothing and medical care. The smaller group “Night before LaGeSo”, which had called the demonstration, takes care of the many people who are queuing at night, providing them with warm clothes, mattresses, food, etc.

Nazila, who came to the demonstration, reported that the initiative “Night before LaGeSo” not only provided provisions but also worked to provide accommodation. The group has been able to organize two coaches where those waiting can keep warm.

The demonstration made clear the growing anger of helpers with the Berlin Senate. They sacrifice days and nights of their time to alleviate the worst hardships, but are then repeatedly sabotaged in their efforts by the Senate, which deliberately worsens the situation for the refugees.

“Politicians are doing this on purpose to discourage refugees”, said Eno, who works in an institution for young people who have fled to Germany without their parents. “They want to show that they are not welcome here. This is absolutely absurd, its sick.” He described how victims are harassed. “There has to be the release of funds to improve the situation,” he said.

His companion Maela also assumes a conscious campaign is being waged against refugees: “Politicians are doing nothing to improve conditions in LaGeSo. The press denounces refugees, but say nothing about the conditions under which they must live.”

Both also expressed their opposition to German participation in the war against Syria, which could force even more people to flee the country. “Paris is just a pretext”, said Maela. “First of all they built up IS and now they use it as a pretext for a war. It’s not about the fight against terrorism, it is about money and power. As in Iraq.” A pensioner who came to the demonstration after he heard about the situation in LaGeSo, described the German mission against Syria as a disaster. “We have no business there”, he said.

Google accused of spying on children as young as 7 years old

The Electronic Frontier Foundation has filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission in which they allege that Google has been violating the privacy of students as young as seven years old by mining their data. The EFF’s Tuesday complaint said that Google can track every search term, site, and video students view using a feature that is enabled by default on the Chromebooks that are sold to schools. The data collection is allegedly not used for advertising purposes, but rather to “to improve Google products.”

The complaint alleges that the monitoring is in violation of a Student Privacy Pledge that Google signed in 2014, which the EFF said is legally enforceable under the Federal Trade Commission Act.

Despite publicly promising not to, Google mines students’ browsing data and other information, and uses it for the company’s own purposes. Making such promises and failing to live up to them is a violation of FTC rules against unfair and deceptive business practices,” said EFF Staff Attorney Nate Cardozo. Minors shouldn’t be tracked or used as guinea pigs, with their data treated as a profit center. If Google wants to use students’ data to ‘improve Google products,’ then it needs to get express consent from parents.”

The EFF uncovered the alleged violation during its Spying on Students campaign that looks into privacy risks of school-supplied devices and cloud-based services. These platforms are used by children as young as seven years old, the EFF said.

Google provides a suite of tools called Google Apps for Education that provides schools with services similar to those available to businesses, allowing schools to worry less about their own network infrastructures by paying to use the company’s cloud.

The tech giant told the EFF that it is planning to disable a setting on school Chromebooks that allow data such as browsing history to be shared with other Google services. While the EFF considers this a step in the right direction, the privacy advocate said that the change doesn’t go “nearly far enough” in bringing the company back in line with the Student Privacy Pledge.

“We commend schools for bringing technology into the classroom. Chromebooks and Google Apps for Education have enormous benefits for teaching and preparing students for the future,” said EFF Staff Attorney Sophia Cope. “But devices and cloud services used in schools must, without compromise or loopholes, protect student privacy.”

“We are calling on the FTC to investigate Google’s conduct, stop the company from using student personal information for its own purposes, and order the company to destroy all information it has collected that’s not for educational purposes.”

NASA-funded study: Over 32 advanced civilizations have collapsed before us, and we’re next in line

Simon Black

As any long-time reader of this column knows, we routinely draw from historical lessons to highlight that this time is not different.

Throughout the 18th century, for example, France was the greatest superpower in Europe, if not the world.

But they became complacent, believing that they had some sort of ‘divine right’ to reign supreme, and that they could be as fiscally irresponsible as they liked.

The French government spent money like drunken sailors; they had substantial welfare programs, free hospitals, and grand monuments.

They held vast territories overseas, engaged in constant warfare, and even had their own intrusive intelligence service that spied on King and subject alike.

Of course, they couldn’t pay for any of this.

French budget deficits were out of control, and they resorted to going heavily into debt and rapidly debasing their currency.

Stop me when this sounds familiar.

The French economy ultimately failed, bringing with it a 26-year period of hyperinflation, civil war, military conquest, and genocide.

History is full of examples, from ancient Mesopotamia to the Soviet Union, which show that whenever societies reach unsustainable levels of resource consumption and allocation, they collapse.

I’ve been writing about this for years, and the idea is now hitting mainstream.

recent research paper funded by NASA highlights this same premise. According to the authors:

“Collapses of even advanced civilizations have occurred many times in the past five thousand years, and they were frequently followed by centuries of population and cultural decline and economic regression.”

The results of their experiments show that some of the very clear trends which exist today – unsustainable resource consumption, and economic stratification that favors the elite – can very easily result in collapse.

In fact, they write that “collapse is very difficult to avoid and requires major policy changes.”

This isn’t exactly good news.

But here’s the thing – between massive debts, deficits, money printing, war, resource depletion, etc., our modern society seems riddled with these risks.

And history certainly shows that dominant powers are always changing.

Empires rise and fall. The global monetary system is always changing. The prevailing social contract is always changing.

But there is one FAR greater trend across history that supercedes all of the rest… and that trend is the RISE of humanity.

Human beings are fundamentally tool creators. We take problems and turn them into opportunities. We find solutions. We adapt and overcome.

The world is not coming to an end. It’s going to reset. There’s a huge difference between the two.

Think about the system that we’re living under.

A tiny elite has total control of the money supply. They wield intrusive spy networks and weapons of mass destruction. The can confiscate the wealth of others in their sole discretion. They can indebt unborn generations.

Curiously, these are the same people who are so incompetent they can’t put a website together.

It’s not working. And just about everyone knows it.

We’re taught growing up that ‘We the People’ have the power to affect radical change in the voting booth. But this is another fairy tale.

Voting only changes the players. It doesn’t change the game.

Technology is one major game changer. The technology exists today to completely revolutionize the way we live and govern ourselves.

Today’s system is just a 19th century model applied to a 21st century society. I mean – a room full of men making decisions about how much money to print? It’s so antiquated it’s almost comical.

But given that the majority of Western governments borrow money just to pay interest on money they’ve already borrowed, it’s obvious the current game is almost finished.

When it ends, there will be a reset… potentially a tumultuous one.

This is why you want to have a plan B, and why you don’t want to have all of your eggs in one basket.

After all, why bother working so hard if everything you’ve ever achieved or provided for your children is tied up in a country with dismal fundamentals?

If you agree with me, then feel free to share this article with your friends below so they also can get a plan B in place. They’ll be glad they did.

Our goal is simple: To help you achieve personal liberty and financial prosperity no matter what happens.

How Russia is shattering the Turkish game in Syria

Pepe Escobar

Master of the Global Chess Board
So why did Washington take virtually forever to not really acknowledge ISIS/ISIL/Daesh is selling stolen Syrian oil that will eventually find is way to Turkey?Because the priority all along was to allow the CIA – in the shadows – to run a “rat line” weaponizing a gaggle of invisible “moderate rebels”.

As much as Daesh – at least up to now – the Barzani mob in Iraqi Kurdistan was never under Washington’s watch. The oil operation the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) runs to Turkey is virtually illegal; stolen state-owned oil as far as Baghdad is concerned.

Daesh stolen oil can’t flow through Damascus-controlled territory. Can’t flow though Shi’ite-dominated Iraq. Can’t go east to Iran. It’s Turkey or nothing. Turkey is the easternmost arm of NATO. The US and NATO “support” Turkey. So a case can be made that the US and NATO ultimately support Daesh.

What’s certain is that illegal Daesh oil and illegal KRG oil fit the same pattern; energy interests by the usual suspects playing a very long game.

What these interests are focused on is to control every possible oil asset in Iraqi Kurdistan and then in “liberated” Syria. It’s crucial to know that Tony “Deepwater Horizon” Hayward is running Ug Genel, whose top priority is to control oil fields that were first stolen from Baghdad, and will eventually be stolen from Iraqi Kurds.

And then, there’s the Turkmen powder keg

The key reason why Washington always solemnly ignored Ankara’s array of shady deals in Syria, through its fifth column Turkmen jihadis, is because a key CIA “rat line” runs exactly through the region known as Turkmen Mountain.

These Turkmen supplied by Ankara’s “humanitarian” convoys got American TOW-2As for their role in preserving prime weaponizing/ smuggling routes. Their advisers, predictably, are Xe/Academi types, formerly Blackwater. Russia happened to identify the whole scam and started bombing the Turkmen. Thus the downing of the Su-24.

The Turkmen fifth column

Now the CIA is on a mission from God – frantically trying to prevent the rat line from being definitely smashed by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) on the ground and Russia in the air.

The same desperation applies to the Aleppo-Azez-Killis route, which is also essential for Turkey for all kinds of smuggling.

The advanced arm of the “4+1” alliance – Russia, Syria, Iran, Iraq, plus Hezbollah – is taking no prisoners trying to re-conquer these two key corridors.

And that explains Ankara’s desperation – with a little help from His Masters’ Voice – to come up with an entirely new rat line/corridor through Afrin, currently under Syrian Kurd control, before Damascus forces and Russia air power get there.

Once again it’s important to remember that a gaggle of Turkmen outfits are Ankara’s fifth column in northern Syria.

Most Turkmen live in Kurdish territories. And here’s the ultimate complicating factor; the majority happens to live in the Jarablus region, currently controlled by ISIS/ISIL/Daesh. It’s exactly this area that is cutting the geographic connection between the two Kurdish cantons, Kobani and Afrin.

So imagine a continuous Syrian Kurd control/autonomy/corridor all across the Turkish-Syrian border. For Ankara this is the ultimate nightmare. Ankara’s strategy is to move its Turkmen pawns, with added “moderate rebels”, all across the Jarablus region. The pretext: wipe Daesh off the map. The real reason: prevent the two Kurdish cantons – Afrin and Kobani – from merging.

And once again Ankara will be directly pitted against Moscow.

The Russian strategy rests on very good relations with Syrian Kurds. Moscow not only supports the Syrian Kurd canton merger, but qualifies it as an important step on the way to a new Syria rid of takfiris. Russia will even officially recognize the PYD (Democratic Union Party) and allow them a representative office in Russia.

Ankara regards the PYD and its paramilitary arm, the YPG (People’s Protection Units) as branches of the PKK. It gets curioser an curioser when we know that both Moscow and Washington are cooperating with the YPG against ISIS/ISIL/Daesh.

The predictable All-Out Ankara Freak Out came in the form of Sultan Erdogan declaring the Euphrates a “red line” for the YPG. If they try to move westward to fight Daesh, sending them out of the Jarablus area, the Turkish Army will strike.

It’s absolutely key for Turkey to control this area between Jarablus and Afrin because here is the site of the would-be “safe zone”, actually a no-fly zone, which Ankara dreams of implementing using the 3 billion euros just extorted from the EU to house refugees but also control northern Syria. Turkmen would be in charge of the area – as well as the Azez-Aleppo line, assuming the SAA does not clear it for good.

The case for UEBA

So Ankara is looking at two very unpleasant Turkmen-filled scenarios to say the least.

Turkmen instrumentalized by Ankara to become gatekeepers against the Kurdish YPG; that means a nasty sectarian divide, orchestrated by Turkey, whose greatest loser is the unity of the Syrian nation.

Meanwhile, the SAA and Russian air power are on the verge of total control of Turkmen Mountain.

This will allow the “4+1” to go much deeper fighting against the so-called Army of Conquest and its twin-headed reptile, Jabhat al-Nusra (a.k.a. al-Qaeda in Syria) and Ahrar al-Sham, the whole lot “supported” and weaponized by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

The “4+1” inexorable advance comes with extra benefits; the end of all rat lines in the region, and no more possible threats to Russia’s air base in Hmeimim.

Make no mistake that Moscow will inflict as much pain on Sultan Erdogan as possible.

As Turkish newspaper Radikal quoted him, Prof. Abbas Vali of Bogazici University confirmed, “The PYD was pleased about Russia’s intervention in Syria. An alliance between the PYD and Russia is inevitable. Russia’s bombardment of the radical Islamist groups on the ground will have a huge impact on the PYD operations.”

So no matter which way we look, Turkey and Russia are on a serious collision course in Syria. Moscow will support Syrian Kurds no holds barred as they push to link the three major Kurdish cantons in northern Syria into a unified Rojava.

As for Washington’s “strategy”, it now boils down to the CIA’s need of a new rat line. That could imply sitting on the – weaponized – sidelines watching Turkmen and Kurds slug it out, thus creating an opening for the Turkish Army to intervene, and the Russian Air Force to prevent it, with all hell guaranteed to break loose.

The fact remains that Sultan Erdogan badly needs a new CIA-secured rat line to weaponize not only his fifth column Turkmen but also Chechens, Uzbeks and Uyghurs. And Bilal Erdogan, a.k.a. Erdogan Mini Me, desperately needs new oil smuggling routes and a couple of new tankers;Russia is watching their every move. The latest news from Russia’s Defense Ministry has struck like a volcanic eruption; the Erdogan family mob was branded as “criminals“, with Moscow presenting only an appetizer of the all the evidence it has in store.

So we have the Afghan heroin rat line. The Libyan oil racket (now over). The Ukraine fascist rat line. The Libya to Syria weapon rat line. The stolen Syrian oil trade. The northern Syrian rat lines. Let’s call them UEBA: Unregulated Exceptionalist Business Activities. What’s not to like? There’s no business like war business.

Putin’s speech points the way forward for Russia and the world

Translated for Fort Russ by J. Arnoldski
Perhaps the main feature of today’s address by Vladimir Putin was his emphasis on the fact that Russia and Russians need to change. The year 2015 is coming to a close, and this year was very important in terms of understanding who we are, where we are going, and what we want from the political leadership of our country. After the momentous year of 2014, when the elite and the people together decided that it is time for the country to regain the status of a superpower, it was very important to ensure that we, the country, the people, and the political elite, are ready to pay for history. Independence, self-esteem, and the right to decide one’s fate are very expensive. The calculation of our enemies was simple and pragmatic: the Russians, realizing that one can’t lay on soft cushions for eternity, will prefer the dream of parmesan and black bread than being builders of a great empire. After all, the most recent incarnation of the Russian Empire was betrayed in exchange for jeans and Coca-Cola – well, what can be worse than parmesan? This time, the script didn’t work. Over the course of 2015, Russians have not repented of their choice, and the Russian managerial elite have finally consolidated themselves around the president. In word and deed, Russia has confirmed its application to participate in the redivision of the world order. The decision to return Crimea was made and secured. There is no turning back and it is possible to talk seriously about global stakes, goals, and methods of accomplishing them.

Putin very clearly outlined that we live in a time of the creation of new trading blocs and the development of new breakthrough technologies, and the position of Russia in the context of these processes will determine its future place in the global division of labor. Occupying a decent place in the world of the future is the main challenge for our country.

Despite the howls of liberal and pseudo-patriotic propaganda, the Russian government is persistently trying to inform the public of one very important idea: there will be no “hot war.” Liberal-Westerners are frightening society with the prospect of a preemptive strike on the United States and demand that we surrender on this basis. Pseudo-patriots are whipping up hysterics and are frightening society with the inevitability of a global “hot war” for which Russia is allegedly not ready. They blame Putin for the lack of “mobilization,” but coming from the mouths of pseudo-patriots this only means that they are unhappy with the fact that Putin does want to support on a life basis an ardent, bawling blogger and is not personally giving them a Mauser and the right to kill his personal ideological opponents.

There will be no hot global war, as in present circumstances this would result in causing unacceptable damage to all participants. We have to live and win an era of hybrid wars which measures the value of the military, economic, technological, and informational components of the enemy. In order to occupy a worthy place in the post-war structure of the world, Russia needs to change, to transform, and grow out of itself. The President did not recall Mendeleev in vain. The text of the presidential message is some kind of “periodic table of Putin.” Vladimir Putin marked those elements one after another which will shape the future of our country. These elements should be considered in more detail.

Self-esteem and Tranquility

These two elements should be inextricably linked and balances, otherwise our opponents will be able to carry out successful provocations with serious consequences against us. If we are too calm and do not react to external stimuli, then they will beat us with impunity, and if we maintain our self-esteem only on the basis of emotions, then we will repeatedly fall into traps and look as stupid as Erdogan looks now. Once again, the audience is presented with a proprietary formula of Putin – “cold revenge without nonsense” – which the president clothed in a humorous form:

But if someone thinks that, having committed a despicable war crime, the murder of people, that they will get away with only losing tomatoes or some limitations in construction and other industries, then they are deeply mistaken. We have more than once reminded them what they have done. And they have more than once not expressed regret over their actions. We know what we need to do in this case.

The army and military-industrial complex

Even the strongest economy in the world is not worth a dime if its financial strength is not interlocked with military force. The president publicly thanked our military and defense officials, as it is through their efforts that Russia is maintaining itself in the small and elite club of states which have the opportunity to independently decide their own destiny and defend their interests in any place on the planet.

The Russian army and military-industrial complex are clear evidence that the evolutionary approach of the president in solving complex national problems is working wonderfully despite a lack of “show elements.” This is a very important point which is completely ignored by many commentators. After each speech of the president, a sigh of disappointment sweeps through social networks – those who are sighing are the fans of “executions on Red Square” who are sighing at another missed opportunity to “finally do things right.”

Look at the army and the military-industrial complex and compare it with what we had 10 years ago. If 10 years ago a futurologist would have predicted that the military would become prestigious, its bullying would be eliminated, and the army of the Russian Federation would become modern, prestigious, and reputable in good fashion, no one would have believed him. In the best case, they would have said something like “if all the generals are imprisoned or shot, non-commissioned officers are dispersed, and generals’ summer homes are bulldozed on TV, then yes, something can and will change!”

Putin is a very unique master of achieving evolutionary changes without ostentation and campaign and organization “grinders” which easily run out of control and begin to “grind” even the innocent and even their own creators. In the army, there were reforms and hundreds of imprisonments and resignations that the media chose to ignore due to the fact that it was impossible to arrange a show of this. As a result, this is seen among the public as some kind of surprise. “Our long-awaited wonderful army has appeared!” is exclaimed by those particularly gifted pseudo-analysts who even try to convince the public that this magically happened in spite of the efforts of the authorities bent on “collapsing the defense of the country.” The point is that the army was taken care of for many years without hysterics, but nonetheless stubbornly. The result is obvious.

The situation with the military-industrial complex is similar. There were no public hysterics and campaigns, but rather there was long and hard work which required considerable human and material resources.

Putin’s great service to Russia is that he demonstrated that the country can solve the most difficult problems in an evolutionary, and not revolutionary format. We have yet to appreciate and understand this, but the faster we do, the better.

State capitalism 2.0

If the army and military-industrial complex are the leading fists of our Homeland, than the economy is the gold in its grip. In the conditions of global hybrid war, the borders between civil and military spheres are erased. On the one hand, an expert on security services can be independent in terms of his source of income while guaranteeing that occupied markets will not be burned by the fires of civil wars, foreign interventions, and terrorism. On the other hand, even the ancients said that there are rarely fortresses which can resist donkeys loaded with gold, and this wisdom has been confirmed in the current era of mass bribery of elites and the organization of color revolutions. It turns out that the army is the basis of the economy and money is the most effective weapon.

Today, the president once again showed how the Russian economy should be in order to withstand the period of global hybrid war, and what is important is not even what he said, but what he didn’t say. The “invisible hand of the market,” a wisdom and prudence which so many from part of the Russian establishment and the expert community rely on, has completely disappeared from official discourse.

The hand of the state designed to support vulnerable sectors (construction, engineering, etc.) and providing funds for the development of industry and even buying up to 30% of production enterprises established with the help of special investment contracts, has emerged in the front place. The state will take care of exports with the aid of the Russian Export Center, and it will even secure the purchase of foreign technology and patents which are not affordable for individual companies. Russia is a country of miracles and non-linear thinking, and it can be clearly seen how Russian “state capitalism 2.0” is slowly developing even though, officially, it does not exist.

A few months ago, Vladimir Putin, responding to the criticism from Yevgeniy Yasin, formulated this paradox as follows:

“We know that even in the most market-based countries – countries with a market infrastructure and economy – the role of the state always increases during a crisis. Well always… but we are not going to create state capitalism.”

It turns out that even if there is not state capitalism, the growth of the role of the state in the economy is inevitable.Everything will be ok with the economy. Not immediately and not quickly, and not simply, but the trajectory is correct. Mechanisms for stimulating and supporting the economy are established, developing, and are gradually cleansing corruption with the help of the All-Russian People’s Front.

Our time is a time of reformatting the existing world order and creating new trade and economic blocs, participation in which determines the future of countries and entire regions. The size of an accessible market determines production potential, and this cannot be escaped. Even the largest countries, such as China, are looking for economic integration in order to increase the number available markets, deepen the division of labor, and make the production chain more efficient. Once cannot isolate oneself, and one cannot pretend that nothing is happening, and it is impossible to think that no mistakes can be made in choosing an integration project. Kiev made a mistake, and now talking about Ukraine is like talking about the dead. They’re either talked about fondly, or not at all.

Together with Russia, China and the Asia-Pacific region as a whole represent an epicenter of economic growth in our century. Different strategies can be used in relation to the People’s Republic of China. It is possible to build an insulating barrier which the Americans are trying to build around China, but this would be a catastrophic folly. One could pretend that there is no China next to us, but the result would not be so different from the first scenario. It would also be possible to use China’s desire to create a reliable corridor to Europe protecting oneself from the sea blockade of the US. Putin chose the wisest and most profitable option: channeling resource and trade transit flows between Europe and China through Russia. In order to finally lay down the most advantageous scheme for Russia and China, winning the battle for Europe is necessary, and the Russians and Chinese are actively working on this in tandem. A lot of work and huge potential for our country is hidden in Putin’s seemingly dry statement that “in principle, there is agreement on Eurasian integration with the Chinese initiative of an economic belt, a Silk Road.”

Speaking of economic integration projects, Putin described another terrifying nightmare for our overseas opponents:

“Together with our colleagues, I propose that the Eurasian Economic Union begin consultations with members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, as well as with the states which are joining the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, on the formation of possible economic partnership.”

Glance at the map. If the Shanghai Cooperation Organization turns into an economic bloc, then it will have the majority of the resources of the planet, half of the world’s population, and its common GDP (and PPP) would be a bit smaller than the EU and US combined. If one counts more honestly, then it would be more than the EU and US. If one connects this project with at least some of the ASAN countries, then the Western world, in the near future, will become the periphery of civilization. This is an incredibly ambitious and very distant goal, but it is quite possible to achieve. The creation of this economic bloc would be the best gift to future generations of Russians.

People are the very element without which all progress is meaningless and impossible. Without “human capital,” any other capital – whether financial or industrial – is nothing. Every individual Russian is the point at which all the elements that the president spoke about converge. For the sake of every Russian, missiles are created, fields are plowed, bombardments in Syria are done, and Russian diplomats overcome difficult situations. Together, we are all the alchemical melting point in which the fire of trials, difficulties, and victories creates an image of a future Russia.
It is a great privilege to watch and participate in the development of the country with an aim for the future, and here it should be remembered that not everything boils down to the material. Yes, material capital, engineering education, affordable health care, macroeconomic stability, and the myriad aspects of the material world are very important, but as a minimum, this is just as important as what the president said in quoting the great Russian scientist and thinker Dmitry Ivanovich Mendeleev:

Dmitry Ivanovich Mendeleev

Divided, they will destroy us immediately. Our strength is in unity, in the army, in benevolent nepotism, in multiplying the gains of the people, and in the natural growth of our inner wealth and love for peace.

Our strength is unity. It is precisely this which is the guarantee of a great future for our Homeland, and it is this which our president constantly says. Our strength is in unity, and if we are united, then we will be able to achieve anything that we want.

Russian warplanes hit 1,458 terrorist targets in Syria over past week

Russian Jet
Russian aviation has conducted 431 sorties and hit 1,458 terrorist targets in seven Syrian provinces over the past week, the Russian Defense Ministry said Friday.”Over the past week (from November 26 to December 4), Russian aviation has carried out 431 sorties from the Hmeymim airbase and conducted pinpoint strikes on 1,458 terrorist targets in the provinces of Aleppo, Idlib, Latakia, Hama, Homs, Deir ez-Zor and Raqqa,” the Russian Defense Ministry spokesman said.

Terrorist command centers, training camps, ammunition depots and strongholds have been destroyed by Russian airstrikes, Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said.

The Russian Aerospace Forces have destroyed 12 fuel-transfer stations and 8 terrorist-controlled oil fields over the past week, Konashenkov said.

“Over the past week, 12 [terrorist-controlled] fuel-transfer stations, 8 oil fields, as well as 170 tanker trucks were destroyed by Russian aviation.”

“In the past 24 hours alone, the Su-34 strike aircraft hit two truck convoys near Aleppo and Raqqa, destroying up to 40 terrorist vehicles modified to transport oil products,” Konashenkov said.

Russian SU-34 Jet
According to him, all combat sorties carried out by Russian attack aircraft in Syria were conducted with escort by Su-30 Flanker-C fighter jets.”I want to emphasize that all sorties conducted by our bombers and attack aircraft were covered by Su-30 fighter jets.

Moreover, the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed a terrorist stronghold in the Syrian province of Latakia, which was located at a strategically important height.

“Near the village of Kessab in the Latakia province, a major stronghold of militantslocated at a tactically important height was destroyed.”

Russian aviation destroyed a major terrorist ammunition depot in the Syrian province of Hama, the general said.”A major arms and ammunition depot of terrorists was destroyed near the village of Morek in the Hama province. As a result of a strike by a high explosive bomb, the object was completely destroyed.”

In the Homs province, a camouflaged terrorist command center was uncovered and later destroyed by Russian warplanes, Konashenkov said. “This command center coordinated artillery shelling of populated areas conducted by terrorists.”

Over the past week, Russian airstrikes eliminated terrorist leaders in the province of Hama, Konashenkov said.

Hindutva Ideology behind Babri Masjid Demolition

By Sajjad Shaukat

23 years ago, Indian Constitution which claims India to be a secular state was torn into pieces

when on December 6, 1992, a large crowd of Hindu Karsevaks (volunteers) entirely demolished

the 16th-century Babri Masjid (mosque) in Ayodhya, Utter Pradesh in a preplanned attempt to

reclaim the land known as RAM Janmabhoomi – birthplace of the god.

The destruction of the Babri Masjid sparked Muslim outrage around the country, provoking

several months of inter-communal rioting between Hindu and Muslim communities, causing the

death of at least 2,000 people, majority of whom were Muslims. The governments of several

neighboring countries including those of the Islamic World condemned the Indian government

for failing to stop the demolition of the historical mosque.

In a 2005 book, India’s former Intelligence Bureau (IB) Joint Director Maloy Krishna Dhar

wrote that Babri mosque demolition was planned 10 months in advance by top leaders of the

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), BJP BJP/Sangh Parivar, VHP, Shiv Sena, the Bajrang Dal

and the then Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Raow. Dhar elaborated, “He had drawn up the

blueprint of the Hindutva (Hindu nationalism) assault at Ayodhya in December 1992.”

However, on December 6, 1992, the RSS and its affiliates organized a rally involving 150,000

VHP and BJP Karsevaks at the site of the mosque. The ceremonies included speeches by BJP

leaders such as L.K. Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and Uma Bharti. During the first few hours of

the rally, the crowd began raising militant slogans. A police cordon had been placed around the

mosque in preparation for attack. However, around noon, a young man managed to slip past the

cordon and climb the mosque itself, brandishing a saffron flag. This was seen as a signal by the

mob, who then stormed the structure. The police cordon, vastly outnumbered, fled. The mob set

upon the building with axes, hammers, and grappling hooks, and within a few hours, the entire

mosque was leveled. Hindu fanatics also destroyed numerous other mosques within the town.

A 2009 report of the inquiry commission, authored by Justice Manmohan Singh Liberhan, found

68 people to be responsible for the destruction of the Babri Masjid, mostly leaders from the BJP.

Among those named were Vajpayee, Advani, Joshi, Vijay Raje Scindia and Kalyan Singh who

was then the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Liberhan wrote that he posted bureaucrats and

police officers to Ayodhya, whose record indicated that they would stay silent during the

mosque’s demolition. Anju Gupta, a police officer who had been in charge of Advani’s security

on that day, stated that Advani and Joshi made speeches that contributed to provoking the

behavior of the mob to accomplish demolition of the mosque. However, the commission clearly

identified BJP, RSS and VHP as the organizations responsible for the incident and also

nominated L.K. Advani, Lalu Parsad Yadev and Murli Manohar Joshi as main culprits behind

this incident. But no action was taken against them.

By showing prejudice in favour of Hindus, on September 30, 2010, the Allahabad High Court

ruled that the 2,400 square feet (220 m2) disputed plot of land, on which the Babri Masjid had

stood would be divided into three parts. The site at which the idol of Rama had been placed was

granted to Hindus in general, the Sunni Wakf Board got one third of the plot, and the Hindu sect

Nirmohi Akhara got the remaining third. The excavations by the Archaeological Survey of India

were heavily used as evidence by the court to support its so-called finding that the original

structure at the site was a massive Hindu religious building.

Since the leader of the ruling party BJP Narendra Modi became Prime Minister of India, various

developments like unprecedented rise of Hindu extremism, persecution of minorities, forced

conversions of other religious minorities into Hindus, ban on beef and cow slaughter, inclusion

of Hindu religious books in curriculum, creation of war-like situation with Pakistan etc. clearly

show that encouraged by the fundamentalist rulers, Hindu extremist outfits such as BJP, RSS

VHP, Bajrang Dal and Shiv Sena including other similar parties have been promoting religious

and ethnic chauvinism in India by propagating ideology of Hindutva.

In fact, on the basis of anti-Muslim and anti-Pakistan slogans, BJP got a land sliding victory in

the Indian elections 2014. Hence, Prime Minister Modi is giving impetus to Hindu chauvinism

against Pakistan and the Muslims, as under his directions, New Delhi accelerated unprovoked

firing at the Line of Control in Kashmir and Working Boundary across Pak-Indian border, even

without bothering for nuclear war.

Particularly, in the recent months, extremists of Hiudu fundamentalist outfits intensified assaults

on the Muslims and Pakistani artists, famous literary persons—members of the cricket boards

etc., and even on moderate Hindus.

More than 200 Indian writers, Authors, scientists, artists, filmmakers, film-stars etc. decided

returned their national awards in protest to rising Hindu extremism under Modi rule, while more

than 100 persons have returned their retuned. Former Indian military personnel have now also

started returning their medals, criticizing the policies of the BJP government, embroiling Prime

Modi in a new domestic crisis.

Modi’s anti-Pakistan policies have also external aspects. In this regard, while addressing a

ceremony during his Bangladesh tour, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi openly stated on

June 7, 2015 that Indian forces helped Mukti Bahini (Militants) to turn East Pakistan into

Bangladesh. He elaborated that former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had played an active

role in separating Bangladesh from Pakistan, and he had also come to Delhi in 1971 to

participate in the Satyagraha Movement, launched by Jana Sangh as a volunteer to garner

support for the Mukti Bahini members.

It is notable that since Prime Minister of Bangladesh and leader of the ruling party, Awami

League, Sheikh Hasina Wajid came into power, India has been employing various tactics to

entrap Bangladesh by exploiting her pro-Indian tilt to fulfill its strategic interests. In this context,

Prime Minister Hasina Wajid has continuously been pursuing Indian directions by conducting

anti-Pakistan campaign. Therefore, after passing of 42 years to the events of 1971, which

resulted into the separation of East Pakistan, Abdul Qadir, the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) was

hanged because of his loyalty to Pakistan.

However, Bangladesh’s ruling party, under Sheikh Hasina Wajid maintains an anti-Pakistan

posture with sinister designs of expressing animosity, antagonism and unrestrained emotional

flare-up. The aim is to exploit feelings of masses by keeping the “hate Pakistan” agenda alive.

This enables Awami League and Hasina Wajid to remain significant in Bangladesh’s power

politics despite their failure to deliver good governance to the People. It also helps them to

appease their mentors in India. Using abusive language against Pakistan and its armed forces

makes Hasina Wajid relevant in Indian politics, while she herself prefers those entities which

derive sadistic pleasure by depicting Pakistan in bad light.

In this connection, in connivance with New Delhi, Bangladesh government and Awami League

have launched a massive media campaign in order to spread venom against Pakistan, its armed

forces, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and against all those Bangladeshi nationals who were

loyal to the state during 1971 crisis.

By neglecting Islamabad’s positive approach, Bangladesh government has continued its anti-

Pakistan approach to please India. It could be judged from the statement of Prime Minister

Hasina Wajid who has vocally said, “Bangladesh has no room for the people loving Pakistan.”

Nevertheless Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been following pro-Indian policies. In this

respect, on the secret insistence of India, unlike the past years, a ceremony was held in Dhaka on

March 24, 2013, with full pump and show to honour ‘Foreign Friends of Bangladesh Award,’ in

relation to the separation of East Pakistan. For this aim, several foreign friends who included

various institutions and media anchors from various countries, particularly India were invited.

The main purpose behind was to distort the image of Pakistan and its armed forces regarding

alleged atrocities, committed against the Bengalis. Notably, in December, 2012, Prime Minister

Hasina had refused to attend D-8 conference in Islamabad unless Pakistan tendered apology for

the alleged genocide of Bengalis.

While, a famous Bengali journalist Sarmila Bose authored a book, “Dead Reckoning: Memories

of the 1971 Bangladesh War” after thorough investigation. Her book was published in 2011.

While countering exaggerations of the Indian and Bengali Journalists, Bose argues that the

number of Bengalis killed in 1971 was not three million, but around 50,000, while Bengalis were

equally involved in the bloodshed of Punjabis, Biharis, Pashtoons and Balochis.

Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was already in connivance with India for separation of East Pakistan.

Therefore, when East Pakistan was occupied by Indian Army in 1971, he stated with pleasure

that his 24 years old dream of an independent Bangladesh had been fulfilled. While commenting

upon 1971 tragedy, Indra Gandhi clearly divulged Indian hegemonic designs by saying “Today

we have sunken Two Nation Theory in bay of Bengal.”

Majib had earlier developed his contacts with Indian rulers and training camps of Mukti Bahini,

established by Indian army and RAW which also funded Mujibur Rehman’s general elections in

Undoubtedly, various anti-Pakistan developments such as Modi’s open confession regarding

Indian support to militants of Mukti Bahini, his arrival in Dhaka to receive award of Atal Bihari

Vajpai, presentation of ‘Surrender Ceremony’ photograph by Bangladeshi leader to Modi,

ruthless death sentences to Jamat-e-Islami Pro-Pakistan leaders under highly doubtful and

objectionable trials etc. show that Indo-Bangladesh media nexus backed by RAW has become

more active for last 4/5 years to create mistrust among people of Bangladesh against Pakistan.

Moreover, Indian cross-border terrorism in Pakistan, her support to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan

(TTP) which is responsible for terror-acts in Pakistan—also involved in the massacre of innocent

children at Army Public School, Peshawar might be noted as instance of anti-Pakistan

Although apparently, India claims to be the largest democracy, acting upon the principles of

liberalism and secularism, yet in practice, all political, economic and social fields of the country

are divided on the caste lines. It is surprising that theoretically, Indian Constitution safeguards

the rights of minorities, but in practice, ideology of Hindutva prevails. Hindu majority led by the

BJP has shown complete disregard to the Constitution, and commit excesses and cruelties against

Muslims, Sikhs, Christians and Dalits with impunity.

Nonetheless, apart from other frenzy events, the demolition of the Babri Masjid will remain a

major scar on Indian so-called secularism, as on the very day, Indian fundamentalist leaders

broke all the records of Hindutva terror by deliberately hurting the feelings of the Muslims. The

atrocities and tyranny let loose on that day in Ayodhya continues unabated against the Muslims

in one form or the other, under the Modi regime.

12193699_1008360079228287_3526276487498948685_nReports are coming in fast and furious that the Pixilated Pasha of Poop in Ankara is livid after hearing that another large convoy of oil tankers was turned into molten dross by both the SAAF and RuAF.  The area in question is on a line extending from Dayr El-Zor through Al-Raqqa to Northern Aleppo.  There are unconfirmed rumors that Turk savages belonging to the army have entered Syria to establish an anti-aircraft position at Tal Diyaab.  This remains unconfirmed and should not be assumed veridical until more assurances come in.

During the last 8 days, the Russian surveillance system, which included satellite monitoring,  watched the tanker trucks collect oil and gas from various locations and form long convoys heading to the Turk border.  There were 2 convoys which contained about 20 trucks each loaded with goodies for Erdoghan’s son and son-in-law.  Once the convoys started to move,  joint wings of Russian-made bombers were dispatched into the air to destroy them during the night.  The scene is described as typical of nocturnal photos of simmering magma after a volcanic explosion.  According to our source,  almost all the drivers were cooked alive as they slowly boiled down in the exploding fuels.

1202-660x330From November 26, 2015 until December 4, 2015, the joint Russian and Syrian Air Forces conducted 431 sorties attacking 1,458 sites all over the north of Syria.  In the process, it has been confirmed that the sorties resulted in the destruction of 185 command and control centers, 109 warehouses, 2 IED factories, 23 training bases, 232 technologically advanced defensive sites, and 887 bases run by ISIS.

At Mork (Var: Al-Mawrik), the RuAF annihilated a warehouse loaded with Saudi-funded weapons including many TOW launchers.

syrianIt just won’t stop.  The Syrian Army has now liberated these areas which were once infested by the terrorist cockroaches supported by Obama, Erdoghan and Hollande:

Ruwaysat Khandaq

Kitf Al-Humaydha

Kitf Al-Ziyaara.

Wael writes that the defensive positions the insects held fell instantly and the roaches are now all over the rural countryside trying to elude our army.  All of them will be killed.  It is also clear that the entire northern front is collapsing quickly to Erdoghan’s chagrin.

مقتل أمير Boo hoo hoo.  He is none other than Abu Julaybeeb Al-Urduni whose real name was Iyaad Al-Toobaasi.  He is a Palesteezian child molester holding Jordanian citizenship.  He was killed by an IED planted by our Military Intelligence folks working with the SF (two can play at that game, right?).  The location was  on the road between Sayda and Kaheel.  This rat was appointed by Terrorist Supremo Ayman Al-Zawaahiri himself as “Commander of the South”, oooooh.   The appointment was made from some cave in Waziristaan.  May the both roast in Hell.

Syrian Army morale is in the heavens.  We owe all this to Russia and its great leader, Vladimir Putin – and Iran.  We now know victory is at hand.

الجيش يحكم سيطرته على تل جعيري بريف حلب الجنوبي ALEPPO:  The indicators are numerous.  Yet, the main one is the ability of the SAA security services to perform field assessments in Aleppo with newly gained confidence in the security of the areas liberated.  You will note that this report contains details that would normally be more consistent with the conditions in Damascus or Der’ah.  Thus, it is clear that the Syrian Army and its allies are making major headway in clearing out the rats from the area as it makes its way inexorably all the way to the Turk border.

Tal Ju’ayri:  Completely deloused and liberated.  The SAA and PDC conducted uniquely sterling operations involving new tactics of pushing-pulling the Nusra rats with many instances resulting in successful ambushes such as the one that resulted in the liberation of this town.  The Engineering Corps are still dismantling IEDs left behind by the rodents in order to both slow down the movement of our army and to kill a few soldiers here and there.  No dice.  It didn’t work and the tactic is so well known that it is testament to their ignorance that they continue to do the same exact thing every time.  Here are the names of the carcasses belonging to positively identified Syrian traitors and rats:

Abu Tameem Al-Jazraawi (SAUDI ARABIAN PIG PUSTULE and leader of ISIS.  He was killed by a mine placed just for him by our soldiers.  He was rendered into one big pile of Ayraab mucous as he was on his way to Latakia).  His aide, Anas Khaalid Al-Saalih, of Harakat Ahraar Al-Shaam, was also killed with him.)

Border of Aleppo-Idlib:  Abi Qahaafa Al-Karbalaa`iy was killed by his own IED while on his way in his car to Idlib Province near Kafarayyaa.  He was Iraqi.

Umm Zaleela, Tal-Ayyoob, Khilsa, Huraytaan:  All these were set ablaze by both SAA artillery and the SAAF.  The villages were abandoned by their inhabitants who now live mostly in Turk refugee camps.

Heavy fighting is continuing in Al-Raashideen Block 4, Layramoon, Al-Zahraa` Assoc., Bani Zayd, Shuwayrikh, Kafr Hamraa, Al-Mansoora.  The SAAF is heavily involve in the fighting here and is flying sorties non-stop.

Zionist Benn’s Grab For Power

By Craig Murray

Hilary Benn is very serious about his power grab and has been laying the ground for it very carefully. On 18 November BICOM – theBritish Israeli Communications and Research Centre – published this:

Shadow Foreign Secretary Hilary Benn told a Labour Friends of Israel (LFI) lunch yesterday that relations with Israel must be based on cooperation and rejected attempts to isolate the country.

Addressing senior party figures in Westminster, Benn praised Israel for its “progressive spirit, vibrant democracy, strong welfare state, thriving free press and independent judiciary.” He also called Israel “an economic giant, a high-tech centre, second only to the United States. A land of innovation and entrepreneurship, venture capital and graduates, private and public enterprise.”

Consequently, said Benn, “Our future relations must be built on cooperation and engagement, not isolation of Israel. We must take on those who seek to delegitimise the state of Israel or question its right to exist.”

It is worth reading the next article BICOM published. Brigadier General Michael Herzog, head of strategy for the Israeli defence Force, sets out a strategy for Israeli interests in Syria which dovetails precisely with what Benn and Cameron were pushing in the Commons. Note that Herzog says an overall diplomatic solution is not realistic and rather de facto partitioning of Syria suits Israel’s interests. Therefore there should be no waiting for diplomatic progress before western military action.

With his abandonment of any pretended concern for the slow and agonising genocide of the Palestinians, and his strident support for Trident, Benn is embracing the Israeli establishment and the British military and political establishment. In return, the Tories roared his speech to the rafters, while the media, and especially the Genie Energy linked media, are boosting him to the Labour leadership.

The United Kingdom has, temporarily, an opposition leadership which is not controlled, Zionist, neo-con and in the pocket of the arms industry. Benn has positioned himself very carefully to offer himself as the vehicle for the entire establishment to move to correct this aberration.
