Lebanon: “Do not despair there is a solution”… 5 steps make you get rid of “rumen” easily

By: Sammi Ibrahem,Sr

People often find it difficult to lose belly fat, as it is a difficult area to eliminate the fat accumulated in it.

A dietitian developed a good method that helps to “program” the body to get rid of belly fat by simple eating habits.

Susie Barrel, a dietitian from Sydney, said people over the age of 30 are more likely to gain weight around the middle because of hormonal shifts.

Eat foods that contain fiber

Suzy stressed that high fiber intake helps reduce cholesterol problems and regulates insulin, especially when taken in the morning.

To meet daily needs, she suggested eating fresh fruits and vegetables as part of every meal, for breakfast, lunch and dinner, according to the Daily Mail.

Caffeine helps initiate metabolism

Caffeine, in any way, helps stimulate your metabolism “metabolism” and is especially effective when you drink it in the morning.

Suzie explained that the catalytic properties of caffeine helped in the process of elimination of fat as well as inhibition of appetite.

Some eat a breakfast that contains sugars, such as cakes or chocolate, they increase insulin and increase your appetite. This means that even though you eat, you will feel hungry and you may find yourself snacking constantly as a way to satisfy “hunger”.

Drink plenty of fluids throughout the day

The body needs to drink two liters of water a day, which naturally helps you feel full, and the nutritionist recommends drinking green tea.

Research has shown that green tea helps increase your metabolic rate (how quickly your body converts food into energy), and drinks can reduce your cravings for sugar.

“If you drink ice water all day, you can burn about 100 extra calories throughout the day,” she said.

Eating foods containing vitamin C

Nutritionists recommend eating 40 grams a day of vitamin C, but the fact that increasing the amount to 100 grams can help reduce belly fat, you will find that vitamin in oranges and lemon.

Riad Salameh gives Bahia Hariri 225 thousand dollars !?

Al-Akhbar newspaper reported that the Central Bank of Lebanon is one of the most prominent aspects of the regime’s corruption

The newspaper said in an article by writer Eli Farzli that the way he manages the public money and the monetary sector is a controversial and doubt among many workers in public affairs. But this is not his only job. The Governor of the Banque du Liban is keen to distribute public funds to the poor and needy. Therefore, at the height of the financial crisis, he did not mind supporting two associations headed by MP Bahia Hariri for $ 225,000 from a special account to support various activities.

According to the documents obtained by the newspaper, the Director of the Executive Office of the bank sent to the Governor Riad Salameh a request entitled “Support Academy Communication and Leadership – Saida,” stating that “based on Your Excellency’s instructions to provide support in the amount of 150 thousand dollars, please agree to pay This amount is from the support account for various activities with the number 02-240966015 ”.

The office’s director, Joseph Assaf, in his book number 22/73, pointed out that the book is based on the request of the Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development for BDL’s financial support for the activities of the Academy of Communication and Leadership – Saida for the academic year 2018-2019.

In practice, this means that MP Bahia Hariri – the aunt of the outgoing Prime Minister Saad Hariri, the mother of Ahmad Hariri and Nader Hariri, as head of the Hariri Foundation – is seeking financial support from the Governor of the Banque du Liban, the latter in the midst of the financial crisis and the money of the Lebanese people. And in US dollars, 150 thousand dollars!

It was on May 23, 2019, but it was not over. Just a week later (May 30, 2019), with a book number 23/73 (the book that followed the Hariri Foundation’s book), it happens that Hariri herself has received additional support from the bank for $ 75,000, but this time not as head of the “Hariri Foundation”. Hariri, ”she said,“ but as the president of the National Initiative for the Centennial of Greater Lebanon. ” The aim of the support is to “implement the national strategy to prevent violent extremism in Lebanese society”. There are many observations that can be made in the context of the debate in the so-called Greater Lebanon Centennial Initiative or in that strategy, but it must be noted that this strategy is a government strategy, launched by the Prime Minister himself, and therefore, supposed to be government funding, Lebanon to it? This is not important. The initiative, thanks to government policies and the support of the Banque du Liban, is a great success.

According to the newspaper, questions regarding the initiative of the Governor of the Banque du Liban may be prolonged, but it is certain that he ordered the disbursement of $ 225,000 of public funds, at the request of MP Hariri, while it was discussing the 2019 budget. In an effort by the government to ease the deficit, this did not seem to be the case for the Central Bank of Lebanon, which did not hesitate to pay from the state’s back pocket, to two associations headed by Hariri. What is the importance of reducing the budget of the Ministry of Social Affairs then? Has the BDL decided to replace it?

Four personalities to succeed Hariri

With Hariri turning the page, Sunni political and spiritual leaders are seeking to entrust President Tammam Salam with forming the next government, as a political figure with the qualifications and inheritance that can secure the required national balance with the presidents of the republic and the parliament.

The choice of the son of the old political house is a great indication not to hold the Sunni community alone and the political responsibility for what it has reached, while the Christian and Shiite political class remain immune from public accountability for the survival of Aoun and Berri and choosing a non-political Sunni figure to head the government.

In light of the economic and social crisis we are experiencing, which ignited the fire of the October 17 revolution, it seems that the second line of defense for the Sunni leaders is to choose an economic or diplomatic figure to form the new government.

Al-Qassar faces several obstacles, the most important of which is the great popular discontent with the banks and their presidents, until they became synonymous with the political class that they revolted against.

Obstacles that stand in the way of minors are not limited to popular discontent, but also to a fierce campaign led by a political team in the previous days under the slogan “Down with the rule of the bank” in the face of the governor of the Banque du Liban, the Banque du Liban and the banks.

The fears of the Sunni leaders of the refusal of Kassar to put the names of Ambassadors Ramez Damascus and Nawaf Salam to lead the next phase.

Lebanon Debate

Hariri’s resignation pleased Jumblatt .. This is his view to reassign him!

Imad Marmal wrote in the newspaper Al-Gomhouria :

It can be said that Jumblatt is among those pleased with the resignation of Hariri and the fall of his government by a fatal blow, after he felt that the rules of the internal game had been severely disrupted during the previous phase, and that he was being isolated and besieged inside and outside the cabinet, «as a result of the behavior of the Covenant and the President of the Free Patriotic Movement, Minister Gebran Bassil Hariri and their support for them under the protection of the presidential settlement ».

In this sense, the resignation of the prime minister dealt a severe blow to the back of the famous compromise, and thus to the Hariri-Bassil equation, which has angered Jumblatt since the beginning of the term of President Michel Aoun, because it in his view blew up the necessary balance of power and “unleashed the aspirations of the president of the Free Current” who did not He finds someone who confronts him with the required firmness. ”

It is known that Jumblatt has repeatedly urged the Prime Minister to turn the table and the Intifada on the approach of the Covenant and Basil, expressing his alarm at Hariri ‘s exaggeration in taking into account his understanding with Aoun and the President of the Free Movement at the expense of the requirements of partnership and balance, according to the concept of the President of the Socialist Party.

After Hariri announced his resignation, Jumblatt seemed sympathetic to him, convinced that the man had made the utmost effort in the past days to find a settlement to the emerging crisis, and made more than one proposal in this direction, «but he was rejected and negative by the concerned because of their insistence not to do without some Persons », in a clear hint to Basil’s name.

Jumblatt assures Jumhuriya that he is in favor of reassigning Hariri to head the next government if he is a candidate or willing to return to the government offices again, considering that the democratic game must take its full dimensions and conduct parliamentary consultations to name the prime minister-designate.

Pending the completion of this constitutional mechanism, Jumblatt calls for respect for the demonstrators and their right to demonstrate, and therefore not to use violence against them, but at the same time calls for stopping banditry, especially the basic ones, such as the road to the Levant and the southern highway.

“I know that this appeal may be unpopular with the protesters, but I have no point in continuing to close the streets, because we make it to ourselves.”
What about the nature of the next government that Lebanon needs?

Jumblatt considers that what is needed at this sensitive stage is the formation of a technocrat government to deal with the economic-financial crisis and to restore the confidence of the country and abroad in the country. He pointed out that he had called for a fundamental reshuffle to remove the provocative names from the government. Agreeing to a comprehensive change towards a technocratic government, but the stubbornness of some led us here ».

He was told, but Hizbullah is not in favor of forming a technocratic government and will be outside its ranks, especially given the targeting it is facing. Jumblatt is quick to stress that Hizbullah should not be concerned, stressing that the issue of its weapons should be subject to a long-term dialogue. “This issue also depends on regional circumstances.”

In a remarkable message to the suburb, he said: The issue of weapons is not discussed at this time, and it is not permissible for anyone to venture now, but I consider that any such proposal emanating from any political party will stem from stupidity or conspiracy.

Jumblatt pointed out that during the past few days he issued more than one alarm bell and a proposal for treatment, “but there are forces that have not heard us,” stressing that Hariri has strived for 14 days to find the appropriate formula that will save the situation, “but all his proposals were rejected, and oh Unfortunately”.

Whoever bears responsibility for reaching the current impasse, avoids direct naming, contenting only with the most eloquent hint of the statement, saying: It is known who brought us to a dead end.

By: Sammi Ibrahem,Sr

The prisoner club said that the serious health conditions faced by Ismail Ali, who has been on strike for 98 days, accompanied by intransigence and refusal by the Israeli authorities to comply with his request, and the occupation courts, through its decisions throughout the strike, formed the basis for the continued detention .

The prisoner club said that the deterioration in the health status of the prisoner Hiba Al-Labadi (32 years), where she suffers from severe difficulty in swallowing water since a week, and led to severe inflammation in the throat, dehydration, in addition to the decrease in weight, and doctors warned of the possibility Her heart problems .

The prison administration has transferred the prisoner several times to the hospital since the end of last week, and will be returned today to the cells of the prison “wholesale” where she has been detained since the start of the strike, note that a court hearing had been held for the prisoner yesterday, to consider the appeal In her name against the decision to confirm her administrative detention, and so far no decision has been issued .

It is noteworthy that the Nazi occupation forces impose restraining measures against prisoners on hunger strike, and escalate with the length of the strike, especially the continued isolation in cells unfit for human life, and deprived them from visiting the family, and the frequent transfer from prison to another, in addition to the number of measures implemented by prisoners Time, including provocations, psychological pressure and daily inspections of cells, even though they are abstract, in an ongoing attempt to break their will.

Exposing India’s Blunders, Pakistan Internationalized the Kashmir Issue

By Sajjad Shaukat

More than 50 days have been passed. Indian forces have continued lockdown and curfew in the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK). More restrictions have been imposed in wake of shortage of foods and even medicines for the patients. In order to hide human rights violations,
communication services have been cut off from the world and foreign journalists are not allowed to enter that region Besides, Indian extremist rulers are also escalating tensions with Pakistan to
divert attention from the drastic situation of the Indian Controlled Kashmir, and have continued shelling inside Pakistani side of Kashmir.

In response to the threat of nuclear war by Indian Defence Rajnath Singh, addressing a press conference, Pakistan’s army’s media wing-the DG of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Maj-Gen. Asif Ghafoor stated on September 4, this year: “There is no policy of no first use of strategic capability…use of nuclear capability is political…no solution to the Kashmir issue less than right to self-determination of Kashmir is acceptable to Pakistan…Pakistan is ready to got any extent for Kashmir…war would become an option by compulsion and not by choice if other
elements do not succeed in stopping brutalities in the Indian Held Kashmir.”

In fact, Indian forces have broken all previous records of gross human rights violations since August 5, 2019 when Indian extremist Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government ended special status of the Jummu and Kashmir by abolishing articles 35A and 370 of the Constitution
to turn Muslim majority into minority in the Indian Controlled Kashmir.
New Delhi which already had 500,000 troops in the Indian Held Kashmir sent almost 300000 extra troops. Despite India’s excessive deployment of troops in the Kashmir region, arrest of the Kashmiri leaders and the pellet guns shots, Kashmiris have accelerated the war of liberation,
being waged for their right of self-determination, which was also recgonised by the United Nations resolutions.

Pakistan is continuously exposing the blunders, committed by the fundamentalist Premier Modi in relation to the IOK and Islamabad.
Human rights groups such as Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International etc. and Western media like BBC, CNN, The New York Times,

The Washington Post, The Guardian etc. have repeatedly condemned Indian illegal measures and human rights violations which continue unabated in the Indian Occupied Kashmir. Particularly, the rights groups have repeatedly called on India to lift restrictions and release political detainees.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan who has declared himself an ambassador of Kashmiris, spent the days of his seven-day visit to the New York City in connection with the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly opened on September 24. In his interaction with the
United Nations, US lawmakers, scholars, human rights activists and the media, and meeting with the US President Donald Trump, he briefed them on the repercussions of the Indian annexation of the disputed Kashmir valley.

In this regard, Prime Minister Imran met the President Trump on September 23, this year. Addressing a joint press conference, Trump once again offered to mediate between Pakistan and India on the Kashmir issue. Trump said: “If I can help, I will certainly do…If both [Pakistan and
India] want, I am ready, willing and able to do it…Kashmir is a complex issue that had been going on for a long time…I do believe that there is a solution”.

Regarding the “Howdy, Modi” rally in Houston on Sunday (September 22) in which the US president and Indian Prime Minister Modi shared a stage and showed each other with praise,

Trump said: “He had heard a very aggressive statement from Modi on Sunday In his remarks on Kashmir, Prime Minister Imran stated, “Trump heads the most powerful country in the world, which has a responsibility to resolve disputes…We look to the US to put out flames in the world…even though Trump offered to mediate, India is refusing…In this
situation, I feel that this is the beginning of a crisis. I honestly feel that the crisis is going to get much bigger [considering] what is happening in Kashmir.”

The lawmakers called on the PM Imran Khan on September 22, 2019 included US Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee Lindsey Graham. Senator Graham was also among those four US senators who wrote a letter to President
Trump recently, asking him to take immediate action to end deepening humanitarian crisis in occupied Kashmir.

PM Imran spoke at an event at the think tank-US Council on Foreign Relations. The premier also held a meetings with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and rulers of various countries and the founder of the Kashmir Study Group Farooq Kathwari during which informed them about India’s illegal occupation and human rights violations in the occupied Kashmir so that they could see the real face of Modi’s government. He reiterated that he wants immediate lifting of the
curfew imposed in the Indian Held Kashmir to lessen the suffering of the Kashmiri people.

He pointed out that the two nuclear-armed neighbours have since been locked into a war of words, with tensions heightening at the border.
Prime Minister Imran is due to address the UN General Assembly on September 27, this year. He has already announced that he will highlight the Kashmir issue, exposing the ethical and legal bankruptcy of India’s annexation of the occupied Kashmir.

It is notable that during his address to the nation on August 26, 2019, Prime Minister Imran said: “India’s decision to revoke Article 370 would prove to be a historic blunder by Narendra Modi’s government in occupied Kashmir. Time will prove that the Indian government has given an opportunity to the Kashmiri people to get their freedom. They
[India] have played their last card”.

However, addressing a press conference, marking the start of the General Assembly’s 74th session, on September 18, 2019, United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has once again offered to mediate the escalating Kashmir issue between Pakistan and India. He has
emphasized on the need for respecting human rights in the Indian Controlled Kashmir which is under strict lockdown. He remarked that he would continue to advocate for the peaceful settlement of the decades-old Kashmir dispute.

Addressing the 42nd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHR) in Geneva on September 10, this year, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Quereshi urged the UNHRC “to constitute a commission of inquiry for an investigation into blatant and grave human rights violations in occupied Kashmir”.

Quereshi elaborated: “The basic and inalienable human rights of Kashmiri people are being trampled with impunity by India…over 6,000 people…have been arrested, without due process of law. Many of them have been forcibly shipped to jails all over India, under draconian laws
operative in Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir…New Delhi has turned Kashmir into the largest prison…India can once again resort to false-flag operations, and use the bogey of terrorism to divert international attention from atrocities in occupied Kashmir…illegal occupation of Muslim-majority Kashmir region can drive the two nuclear-armed countries in an accidental war”.

It is mention able that Pakistan achieved a biggest success when 50 countries supported Pakistan’s stance on Indian Held Kashmir in a joint statement delivered at the UNHR in Geneva on September 10, 2019. The joint statement said: “It shares the concern expressed by the High
Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet regarding the impact of recent actions on the human rights of Kashmiris…the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights [OHCHR], UN Special Procedures in their joint press release of 22 August 2019, civil society organizations and international media have repeatedly expressed serious concerns about the unprecedented restrictions and on the continuous curfew imposed
since fifth of last month, curbing of fundamental freedoms, communications blackout and reports of wide spread torture, extrajudicial killings, arbitrary arrests, molestation of women, and
enforced disappearances”.

It quoted UN Secretary-General António Guterres statement on 8th of last month that said: “The position of the United Nations on this region is governed by the Charter of the United Nations and applicable Security Council resolutions”. This position of the UN Secretary-General has also
been corroborated by OHCHR‘s Kashmir Reports.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan have repeatedly stated the inaction by the international community, particularly the West’s major powers who have financial interests in India could lead to conventional war which could be culminated into nuclear war between the two countries.

Especially, on August 15, 2019, Prime Minister Imran has warned the international community of “severe repercussions and reactions”, if they “silently witness another Srebrenica-type massacre & ethnic cleansing of Muslims in the occupied Kashmir”.

In his interview with Russian TV Channel RT on September 13, 2019, PM Imran Khan once again pointed out that the Indo-Pakistani standoff took a turn for the worse after New Delhi revoked the decades old autonomy of the part of disputed Kashmir it controls. Khan urged the world community to help preventing the conflict from spiraling into “a nuclear hotspot” with “unimaginable” consequences.

In his interview with Al Jazeera TV channel on September 14, this year Premier Imran Khan warned by saying: “Pakistan would never start a war, and I am clear: I am a pacifist, I am anti-war, I believe that wars do not solve any problems…When two nuclear-armed countries fight, if
they fight a conventional war, there is every possibility that it is going to end up into nuclear war…Eight million Muslims in Kashmir are under siege…and why this can become a flashpoint is because India is trying to divert attention from illegal annexation and genocide in Kashmir”.

Undoubtedly, we can conclude that by exposing India’s blunders, Pakistan internationalized the
Kashmir issue.
