Russia Presents Evidence Against US, UK and Israel As Being the Actual 9/11 Terrorist

9/11: Russia Presents Evidence Against US, UK And Israel Co-Conspirators

Russian 9/11 Data Dump Reveals State Actors

“9/11 was an Anglo-American black operation executed in collusion with Israeli Secret Services and Saudi Arabian financiers.” — 9/11 Investigator

Undoubtedly the 9/11 attacks on New York City and Washington DC are the most misrepresented by officialdom in US history.

Whereas the assassination of John F. Kennedy is now understood to have been a classic CIA Execution Plan, it does not come close to 9/11 in terms of the number and magnitude of outright falsehoods, misleading statements, fake science and fraudulent facts submitted by officials and agents of the US Government.

The ‘official’ 9/11 Commission Report stands as the most fabricated document ever produced by US tax dollars.  Not only did the investigation avoid every serious inquiry about how two steel frame building came down after being dustified in NYC, it also subverted every initiative to ferret out the truth.

That’s all about to change.

It appears that Russia has been conducting systematic data dumps on 9/11, the release of which represents more factual information on the attacks than any US Government source.

In the wake of the Anglo-American coup d’état conducted by the CIA and MI6 in Kiev, it appears that Russia has no more patience for Western interference.  Especially when nations are destabilized on Russia’s borders do the stakes in this highly consequential geopolitical chess match go up.

Since Vladimir Putin has no intention of starting World War 3, he can only respond to US-EU meddling by using asymmetric warfare on the internet.

Because the Obama Administration has shown no sign of aborting its planned takeover of the Ukraine, Russia is left with very few, but still quite potent options.

The following excerpt recently appeared on an alternative news website — Veterans Today — under the subtitle “TOO CLASSIFIED TO PUBLISH”.

Essentially this unprecedented release of ultra-secret and highly classified information illustrates Putin’s new tack toward Western intractability.  Simply put, Russia will no longer stand by idly while the Anglo-American Juggernaut projects it power wherever it so chooses.

According to a retired FXX agent specializing in Israeli counter intelligence.

The type of nuclear devices used on 911 were a modified version of the W-54 nuclear artillery shells that were covertly provided to the Israelis between 1988 and 1998 from US surplus stockpiles illegally exported during the Bush/Clinton era.Chemical analysis done by DOE Sandi was able to identify the chemical/radiation footprint or fingerprint of the warheads based on samples taken after 911 of the fallout at ground zero. (Editor’s note: Nuclear weapon use at ground zero is confirmed from multiple sources)

All plutonium based warheads have a chemical fingerprint that can identify the type of design and where the PU was made and how old it is. This was the 911 blackmail on Bush 1 and 2, the illegal transfer of surplus US nuclear weapons to the Israelis and why the continued cover up, along with the stolen gold and stock fraud that was going on Wall Street etc.

Only a 2 kiloton device was needed to drop the buildings. A 2 kiloton device will produce a fireball of apx 150 to 200 feet in diameter at over 4000 degrees Centigrade. Just large enough to melt the I beams of the central core of the building and drop them in place. The light flash would last less than 1 second and primarily be in the UV light range.

Fallout would be minimal and located to within ground zero range only. Radiation would drop to acceptable levels within 72 hrs. after the blast. Most fall out was trapped in the cement dust thus causing all of the recent cancer deaths that we are now seeing in NYC amongst first responders.

High FluxIsotope Reactor Core – Cross Section

Melted steel and iron oxide or “nano thermite” is a byproduct of the very high gamma ray / Neutron flux induced into the central steel core. The radiation dissolves the steel into iron oxide consuming the carbon and silicone in the steel.

This explains the missing steel columns and the very important clue of the “vaporized’ 20 ton antenna tower atop the south tower. The upward blast of radiation literally vaporized it. Video evidence proves this to be true.

P.S. Snowden didn’t have a Q clearance so he missed this one.

The entire nuclear nonproliferation story of stolen nuclear material coming from Russia was an Israeli cover story to hide the original source of weapons material coming from the US stock piles.

Illegal distribution of US nuclear material to foreign allies was not limited to Israel. Virtually all NATO allies were in on this scam too. Dick Cheney was the bad guy on this one. Bush2/Cheney traded nuclear pits to foreign country as IOU’s in order to get what they wanted. Tom Countryman a well-known Israeli operative is curiously now in charge of N.N.P. at the State Department under Obama.(?) He was put there by Ram Emanuel.

Early Israeli core model – Vannunu photo

It appears that the weapon of choice for the Israelis were the W-54 and follow on series of nuclear pits taken from the Amarillo TX storage dump. This was what Carnaberry was working on for Bush senior in Houston.

A total of over 350 pits were transferred to the Israelis over a 10 to 20 year period of time. The W-54 type of pit design were the most desirable due to the 2 point implosion pit design. This is the easiest to re manufacture and modify as compared to other circular pit designs.

The pill shaped design of the W-54 type weapon contains over 1.5 times more plutonium than a standard pit. This would allow enough Plutonium to be recovered that was still of weapons grade use even after 32 plus years of age. Americium build up in the pit over time eventually makes the Pit unusable as a weapon so they have a limited shelf life based on how fast or slow the Plutonium was produce in the reactor at Stanford.

Usually it was about 150 days max. Irradiation time in the reactor during production determines the shelf life of the pit as weapons grade material. All of the micro nukes used by the Israelis are re-manufactured W-54 type series devices.

Khazelov confirmed this a micro nuke bombing

These devices were used in the Bali bombing and the London bombing and in Japan on their reactors.  Also used in Damascus, Iraq and Afghanistan by the USA.

These are stored in most Israelite embassies for ease of deployment. The one’s used on 911 were kept at the Israeli consulate in NYC until put in place. After 911 the FBI now checks all diplomatic pouches with a Geiger counter before entering or leaving the US. The South African weapons were also surplus W-54 artillery shells acquired from Israeli and final assembly and testing was done in South Africa with Israel assistance.

This was done because the Israelis needed a testing ground in order to make sure that there rebuilt weapons would work as designed. The North Korean weapons are also of the 155 mm artillery design as provided by Israel.
The true North Korean nuclear weapons program is based on nuclear artillery use and not missiles. The plan is to use a massive artillery barge on South Korea if war breaks out this include the use of small nuclear artillery shells to counter US tanks rockets and artillery.

The Saudi’s also have a stash of W-54′s acquired from the US under Bush2. (Editor’s note: Confirmed) The Israelis have also provided them to India, Brazil, China, Taiwan, Japan, North and South Korea etc. (Editor’s note: All but South Korea confirmed. Canada had been believed to be the source of Brazilian nuclear weapons.) Dimona is a standard 75 megawatt thermal open top reactor as used in France for their plutonium weapons production program, their version of Stanford .

Dimona – Israel

Due to over use as a fast breeder reactor by the Israelis, Dimona suffered a “steam explosion” IE a flash over indecent due to neutron criticality back in the late 1980′s under Bush 1. This shut down its operation for many years until repairs could be made.

It know only operates at very low power levels due to neutron absorption damage to the containment vessel. Now mainly use for isotope production. This forced the Israelis to turn to stolen nuclear stock piles from the US for the continuation of their nuclear program.

The Israelis knowing that the nuclear material that they had acquire only had a limited shelf life left before it was no longer usable as weapons grade then tried to dump it on the surplus market as fast as possible before it was of no use to them. So they dumped it on unsuspecting nations who would only sit on it and not be able to test it.

These were the fissile tests in North Korea.
When everybody caught on to the scam such as Japan and Korea, they were angry because they paid big bucks for junk. This started a mini cold war with Israel and her old clients.

However with micro nukes even as the plutonium ages it will still fissile producing a smaller size detonation well under 2 kiloton in size.So they can still be used as small dirty bombs or as very small tactical nukes such as the nuclear artillery strikes on Damascus with rocket assisted W-54′s. On the W-54 pit design it is pill shaped and it is only about 4 inches in diameter and weighs about 24 pounds.

Most of the fuel is consumed in the plasma fire ball when detonated so there is very little plutonium fallout left to escape. If it is salted with other materials the fallout can be even reduced to lower levels such as in an enhanced radiation device or the so called neutron bomb. This is what was used on 911.

Falling man – 911

The primary purpose of the nuclear weapon used on 911 was to produce a massive Gamma ray / neutron flux that would vaporize about 150 to 300 feet of 6 inch thick steal I-beams that constituted the central core of the WTC buildings. This created a free fall event as seen on TV that day.

The flash would be hidden from sight due to the underground detonation. Most of the light was in the non-visible light spectrum any way. Over pressure would be reduced to 6 psi due to the blast traveling up the central core and neutron radiation vaporizing the TV antenna at the top of the building as see on TV.

The fallout would be mainly vaporized concrete cement and iron oxide. This is why after 911 they told everyone on TV that the beta radiation burns that people were getting were due to the caustic cement dust and not due to the radiation effects from the radioactive cement fallout.

The iron oxide found all over the place was what was left of the steel I beams. This was the so called Nano Thermite that was found everywhere. Fallout was limited to a 1 mile area around down town NYC.

Radiation decay was reduced to safe low levels after 72 hrs., outside of ground zero its self. This is why the area was blocked off from the public for 3 days after the event, in order to let the radiation drop to safe levels.

If you read this excerpt closely,  you can clearly see that Russia means business.  It is what they did not say — directly — that makes this data-dump so poignant … and dangerous to the Anglo-American power structure.

When the Shin Bet rounds up Palestinians, ‘Israeli’ media stops asking questions

When the Shin Bet announced it arrested 50 Palestinians linked to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the media simply parroted the agency’s talking points.

The Shin Bet revealed Wednesday that it had arrested over 50 members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) over the past few months, including those who were allegedly involved in the murder of an Israeli teenager earlier this year.

Although the story had been widely publicized on international media outlets and social media over the past few months, Israeli outlets were barred from reporting on the story due to a court-imposed gag order. When the Shin Bet published its announcement, the Israeli media not only shied away from reporting the facts and providing context, it parroted the agency’s talking points.

A closer examination reveals the roundups included activists, students affiliated with the PFLP, and political leaders, including renowned feminist Palestinian lawmaker Khalida Jarrar. A number of those arrested, the agency said, were not involved in militant activities. The statement included the names of only seven members of the PFLP, three of whom are suspected of taking part in Shnerb’s murder, and four who belong to the organization’s political leadership. The names of the remaining 43 Palestinians who were arrested were not mentioned in the statement. The Shin Bet has yet to respond to +972’s requests to reveal the names of the remaining detainees, as well as what they were accused of.Get Our Weekly NewsletterSign up

The wave of arrests began following the murder 17-year-old Israeli Rena Shnerb, who was killed by a roadside bomb while hiking with her father and brother in the West Bank on August 23. Attorneys and human rights activists who have been following the arrests were surprised by the announcement, considering the Jerusalem Magistrates Court recently acceded to the agency’s request to extend a gag order on the arrests until December 31. Palestinian prisoners’ rights organization Addameer accused the Shin Bet of “taking advantage of its authority” by publicizing the details of the arrests after asking for the gag order extension.

Addameer also said that the organization is “worried about the details that were published by the Israeli media,” especially in light of the fact that the military prosecution never submitted a list of indictments against some of the detainees under interrogation.

In many cases, prominent Israeli media outlets simply published parts of the Shin Bet statement as truth without adding any context, including by erroneously tying all 50 detainees to militant activities. Furthermore, not a single article in the Hebrew media used the word “suspects” (Editor’s note: apart from this article, which was first published in Hebrew on Local Call) — as is common when describing detainees in Israel — despite the fact that not a single detainee has been convicted and at least a few of them are being held in administrative detention without trial.

The Shin Bet’s statement demonstrates the absurdity of gag orders in an era in which arrests have already been widely published on Arabic media outlets, social media, and in English. The gag order prevents any public or political discussion on the arrests and serves as a tool for political censorship, which allows the Shin Bet to publish statements when it serves its interests.

Acccording to Addameer General Director Sahar Francis, “the entire idea of a [gag] order is to censor and prevent talking about torture in this case,” referring to Samer Arbeed, who was interrogated over Shnerb’s murder. Arbeed was reportedly tortured by the Shin Bet and hospitalized in critical condition in Jerusalem’s Hadassah Medical Center. According to sources with knowledge of the interrogations, the confessions of the other detainees were also extracted through torture.

Francis says that not all the detainees were indicted, making it difficult to count how many of them are involved in political activities, adding that there is a large number of students and activists who stay out of “militant activities.” She estimates that the first time the Shin Bet published a statement regarding the arrests back in September — despite the gag order — was a result of the publicity surrounding Arbeed’s grave injuries. “We believe that this was because they were afraid that Samer would succumb to his wounds.”

“They frequently renewed the gag order and in most of the court hearings insisted on not allowing family members to sit in the courtroom,” Francis continues. “The torture was very brutal and took place with the consent of the military court and the Supreme Court, both of which approved the decision to prevent meetings with attorneys, and as such there was no legal defense [for the detainees] throughout the entire period of interrogations.”

Sahar points out that the timing of the arrests may be related to the fact that just one day before the Shin Bet’s statement, Human Rights Watch published a comprehensive report on Israel’s expansive use of military orders to repress Palestinians in the West Bank. The report is based on interviews and analyses of various cases, mentioning the practice of administrative detention as a tool of political repression.

No need for administrative detention

The Shin Bet statement described Palestinian Legislative Council member for the PFLP, Khalida Jarrar, as someone who “appears to stand at the head of the PFLP in the West Bank, and thus is responsible for all actions of the group.” Jarrar has been arrested before, in 2015 and 2017. She was last released from Israel’s Damon prison in February, after nearly two years under administrative detention — a method used by the Israeli army to imprison people without charge or trial, used almost exclusively against Palestinians. According to Addameer, there are currently 5,000 Palestinians in administrative detention, including five members of the PLC.

Israel has repeatedly targeted Jarrar for her association with the PFLP, as well as participating in protests, giving speeches and interviews to the media, a visit to a solidarity tent for Palestinian prisoners, and alleged incitement to kidnap Israeli soldiers.

According to Francis, however, the charges against Jarrar earlier this month include only one charge: “Holds a position in a terrorist organization.” The charges include no mention of Shnerb’s murder, which led to the wave of arrests. “They did not tie her directly to militant activity,” said Francis, “she is not accused of this.”

The gag order slapped on the case prevented media outlets from reporting on the roundups, including Jarrar’s legal proceedings. +972 requested to be present at a hearing in Ofer Military Court to extend Jarrar’s remand last week. The military judge presiding over the hearing ruled that it would be held behind closed doors.

Palestinian political parties in the West Bank, including the PFLP, are defined by Israel as terrorist organizations. Therefore, the civil or political activities of those parties may also be cause for arrest. Jarrar herself has already spent time in administrative detention for membership in the PFLP, which she represents as an elected member of the Palestinian parliament, when the activities for which she was convicted included speeches and demonstrations. As mentioned, there is no indication of her involvement in militant activity.

Jarrar’s daughter, Yaffa, said that “we never had any trust in the Shin Bet, but this time they are officially disseminating false information, all while violating a gag order that was put in place in order to hide evidence regarding torture they committed in contravention of international law. They are detaining my mother under the premise that she is a leader of the PFLP, and thus is responsible for everything. Show us what evidence you have.”

“I’ve been aware of these practices since the day I was born yet I was still surprised,” Yaffa says. “This campaign was intended to harm my mother’s image, based on false reports by the Israeli authorities, all because of her activities as a feminist and defender of human rights.” Yaffa says that this time, the authorities decided not to put her mother back in administrative detention, but to put her on trial over a single charge. “They don’t want the headache of having to deal with administrative detention. Imprisoning her without trial or evidence will lead to international protests, so they do the same thing through fabricating charges.”

The detainees

Among the 50 detainees are students from Bir Zeit University — some of whom are part the Progressive Democratic Student Pole, known as “Al-Qutub,” the student arm of the PFLP on campus — are Mais Abu Ghosh and Samah Jaradat. According to Nitza Aminov, an Israeli activist reported in Jaradat’s remand extension hearing, she was arrested in early September and barred from meeting with a lawyer for close to a month. Like other detainees, her attorney noted that her confession was under pressure.

One of the detainees who was not mentioned by the Shin Bet is scientist Ubai Aboudi, who is also a U.S. citizen. Aboudi is the director of Palestinian NGO Bisan Center for Research and Development, which focuses on education. In the early hours of November 13, Israeli soldiers arrested Aboudi during a raid on his home in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Kufr Aqab. On November 18, an Israeli military court decided to put him in administrative detention for four months. His term was later shortened to two months.

As the director of Bisan, Aboudi helped organize an international conference in support of science research and education in Palestine, and was working on a report on the state of science in Palestine and Israel’s harassment of Palestinian scientists. After his arrest, Aboudi’s friends and colleagues abroad launched a campaign for his release, including a letter signed by over 1,000 prominent scientists and academics from around the world.

Israel has suspended core Palestinian rights for a half-century

Israel has denied Palestinians living under military occupation their fundamental civil rights for more than five decades, according to a report published by Human Rights Watch today.

Sweeping military orders imposed immediately after Israel’s occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip in 1967 remain in place today, except for East Jerusalem, which Israel annexed in violation of international law.

“The Israeli army has deprived generations of Palestinians in the West Bank of their basic civil rights, including the rights to free assembly, association and expression, regularly drawing on military orders issued in the first days of the occupation,” the report states.

“The suspension of core rights more than half a century later with no end in sight violates Israel’s core responsibilities under the law of occupation.”

Israeli settlers in the West Bank enjoy basic rights denied to Palestinians living in the same territory.

“Israeli officials openly speak of their intent to permanently rule over Palestinians in the West Bank,” according to Human Rights Watch.

“Whatever the political arrangements, nothing can justify the continued enforcement of these restrictions and the entrenched two-tiered discriminatory system in the West Bank today.”

Human Rights Watch does not describe this discriminatory system as one of apartheid in its report, which focuses on the West Bank, excluding East Jerusalem. But a landmark study published by the UN’s Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia in 2017 concludes that “Israel has established an apartheid regime that dominates the Palestinian people as a whole.”

Multiple generations of Palestinians have lived under the Israeli military’s draconian system of military orders. However, according to Human Rights Watch, “the longer an occupation, the more military rules should resemble an ordinary governing system.”

The case studies included in Human Rights Watch’s report demonstrate that the governing system in the West Bank, where Palestinians live under direct military rule, is anything but ordinary.

Israel arrests journalists, activists and others on the basis of broadly worded military orders instead of any recognizable crime. These arrests occur even in West Bank cities under nominal Palestinian Authority control.

Activists subjected to repeated arrests curtail involvement in advocacy for their rights. Journalists self-censor, wary of being charged with “incitement” over their coverage of Israel’s rights violations.

It’s a highly repressive environment that facilitates Israel’s military rule and colonization of occupied Palestinian land.

“Peaceful opposition to the occupation could land you in jail,” Human Rights Watch’s Omar Shakir, who authored the report and was recently deported by Israel, states in an accompanying video.

“How do you call for change when calling for change can land you in prison?” Shakir asks.

Farid al-Atrash, a lawyer and human rights activist, was arrested in February 2016 during a protest against Israel’s closure of Shuhada Street, formerly a center of commerce in the West Bank city of Hebron now turned into a ghost town.

His arrest was documented on video:

Military prosecutors charged al-Atrash and another Palestinian activist with violating military orders including “demonstrating without a permit;” entering a “closed military zone;” “incitement” for attempting to influence public opinion “in a manner that may harm public order or safety” by waving Palestinian flags; and holding a sign reading “Open Shuhada Street.”

Al-Atrash was released on bail days after his arrest but is still being subjected to prosecution by an Israeli military court nearly four years later.

Human Rights Watch also highlights the case of Khalida Jarrar, a leftist lawmaker who is being held without charge or trial by Israel following her arrest in late October this year.

Jarrar has been imprisoned twice previously in recent years and subjected to travel bans because of her membership in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, considered an “unlawful association” by Israel.

“Authorities never claimed that she had any personal involvement in armed activities,” Human Rights Watch states.

Another Palestinian woman, Nariman Tamimi, was imprisoned because she live-streamed a video of her teenage daughter confronting Israeli soldiers in front of their West Bank home in December 2017.

In their indictment, military prosecutors claimed that Tamimi “attempted to influence public opinion in the Area in a manner that may harm public order and safety” and “called for violence.”

The indictment notes the popularity of the video, which was “viewed by thousands of users, shared by dozens of users, [and] received dozens of responses and many dozens of likes.” However, as Human Rights Watch observes, “nowhere in the video or case file does [Tamimi] call for violence.”

Tamimi agreed to a plea deal to avoid a longer sentence if convicted by a military court, which “fail to give Palestinians fair trials,” as Human Rights Watch notes. She and her then 16-year-old daughter Ahed, seen slapping a soldier in the live stream video, both spent eight months in detention.

Arrests over social media posts

Israel has criminalized online speech critical of the occupation. Its military laws broadly define “incitement” as including “praise, sympathy or support for a hostile organization.”

According to Human Rights Watch, “these restrictions have particularly limited Palestinian journalists, whom the Israeli army regularly accuses of incitement or affiliation with Hamas.”

The artist Hafez Omar, arrested most recently by Israel last March, told the human rights group Addameer that he was interrogated about “his artworks and publications on social media, especially those in support of the rights of Palestinian prisoners.”

The Israeli military told Human Rights Watch that it prosecuted more than 350 people for “incitement” between 1 July 2014 and 30 June 2019, convicting all but seven of them at a rate of 98 percent. Addameer documented 650 arrests over social media posts in 2017 and 2018 (many of those cases involve detainees being held without charge or trial under administrative detention orders).

Each year the Israeli government submits thousands of requests to social media companies such as Facebook, Twitter, Google and YouTube to remove content related to “terror” and “incitement to terror,” enjoying a high rate of compliance.

The result is that popular Palestinian news outlets have had their social media pages shut down without warning or explanation. So have pages affiliated with major political parties considered terrorist groups by Israel and the US, such as Hamas and Hizballah.

Human Rights Watch also notes that the Palestinian Authority also restricts rights in the areas under its nominal control “through arbitrary arrests of critics and opponents of it, particularly on social media, among independent journalists, on university campuses and at demonstrations.”

Third states and international organizations must “highlight the importance of respecting the civil rights of Palestinians in the West Bank,” Human Rights Watch states.

“They should consider including calls for Israel to grant Palestinians civil rights at least equal to what it grants its own citizens in their publications, reports and policy positions and to assess Israel’s conduct on this basis.”

Trump Claims “King of Israel” Nationality, Bans Criticism of Himself by Executive Order

By Kevin Barrett

Dissociated Press

In the wake of President Trump’s executive order banning criticism of Israel and making “Jewish” a nationality, the White House announced yesterday that Trump will go one step further and claim “King of Israel” nationality and “Second Coming of God” status, effectively exempting himself from criticism.

Trump, who annointed himself King of Israel and Second Coming of God last August, is expected to issue a new executive order tomorrow making “King of Israel” a protected nationality and “second coming of God” a special religious identity off-limits to sacrilege, blasphemy, heresy, or any other form of criticism. Once the order has been issued, anyone criticizing Trump will be arrested for hate speech (due to his protected nationality) and sacrilege (due to his special religious status) and summarily tortured and burned at the stake.

Trump, who has repeatedly gone on record supporting torture because it “absolutely works,” is expected to mount a similar defense of burning-at-the-stake. A White House insider reports that the President believes the only way to make “Trump-haters” stop criticizing him is to threaten to burn them to death on the White House lawn, where he can watch the proceedings through the window of his Oval Office.

Though some Republicans privately said they think Trump’s plan to ban criticism of himself goes too far and may even be unconstitutional, none were willing to publicly oppose it for fear of angering the Israel lobby, which views Trump as their Messiah and avidly looks forward to seeing BDS supporters barbecued. “The acrid aroma of their roasting flesh will be pleasing to Lord Yahweh,” explained Mike Pence in a statement jointly issued by the Vice President’s office and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.

As for the Democrats, they have been too busy raising money from liberal Zionists, and pursuing impeachment on Russia-Ukraine related issues, to raise much of a fuss about Trump’s insanely unconstitutional executive orders.

Nazi regime has killed 32 of my friends

Israel has killed 32 of my friends

Hamza Abu Eltarabesh

The Electronic Intifada

Ibrahim Dabous, pictured with his nephew. (Photo courtesy of family)

I first met Ibrahim al-Dabous when he came to paint my home.

It was about a year ago. I was introduced to him by my cousin Muhammad Ashour, an interior decorator.

Ibrahim was reticent. It wasn’t until his second day working in my home that I heard him speak.

Despite how quiet he was, Ibrahim could be very funny. When he cracked a joke, everyone in the room would laugh.

It took Ibrahim and my cousin approximately a week to paint my home. During their last day doing that job, we had a conversation about Israel’s major offensive against Gaza in the summer of 2014.

I was taken aback when Ibrahim told me that Israel had destroyed his newly built home that summer.

He was taken aback when I told him that – since the second intifada broke out in September 2000 – Israel had killed 31 of my friends.

“I might be number 32,” he said.

The comment should not have been amusing but the way Ibrahim delivered it was. And I couldn’t stop myself from giggling.

That was typical of Ibrahim. His sense of humor was dark.

“So many dreams”

Tragically, his comment turned out to be prescient.

On the morning of 12 November, I learned that Ibrahim was among the Islamic Jihad fighters who had been attacked by Israel.

I phoned my fellow journalist Yousif Fares; he is married to Ibrahim’s sister. Yousif informed me that Ibrahim was seriously wounded.

Around five hours later, Ibrahim died.

It is painful to know that Ibrahim has indeed become number 32 on my list of friends killed by Israel. But I realize that others in Gaza have suffered much worse than me lately.

Ibrahim’s wife Marwa is one of them; the couple had wed a mere two months earlier.

“I never expected that Ibrahim would leave us so quickly,” Marwa said. “We had so many dreams that we wanted to make come true – together.”

The 12 November attack began with the assassination of Baha Abu al-Ata, an Islamic Jihad commander.

Predictably, Israel depicted him as a “terrorist” and – for the most part – the Western media reported Israel’s version of events uncritically. Little attention was paid to how his wife Asma died in the attack and to how the couple’s five children suddenly became orphans.

Liyan Abu al-Ata, the youngest of the five, had just turned 11.

“We didn’t see our father a lot at home,” Liyan told me. “He came to see me on my birthday as a surprise. I went to bed happy. I was waiting for the morning to celebrate my birthday with my father.”

“A kiss for the last time”

Liyan was asleep when Israel attacked her home. So were her siblings – Salim, 19, Muhammad, 18, Ismail, 15, and Fatma, 14.

All of them were injured.

“Israel has taken away my happiness,” said Liyan. “Israel has deprived me of love from my dad and mom.”

Israel killed approximately 35 people in Gaza over a 48-hour period last month.

Nineteen of those killed were resistance fighters; the remainder were civilians.

The fighters included Khalid Faraj, a resident of Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. He has been named as an Islamic Jihad commander.

Faraj was killed when Israel attacked al-Mughraqa, southwest of Gaza City.

There was a marked difference between how news of his death was received by Palestinians and how it was reported in the Western press.

While mainstream media stories simply drew attention to his political affiliation – as if that explained everything – many Palestinians expressed empathy with Faraj’s family.

One photograph widely shared by people in Gaza showed Khalid’s 13-year-old daughter Sama crying over his body at his funeral.

“Before my dad left in the morning, I made him a cup of tea,” said Sama. “He drank it quickly, kissed my head and left. Two hours later, he was brought back to us dead. I gave him a kiss for the last time.”

Remembering America’s first (and longest) forgotten war on Tribal Islamists

Precious few today have ever heard of America’s Moro War fought from 1899 to 1913By Michael Chester -December 18, 20192908 4

Mike’s Notes: It has been said that those who don’t learn from history, are doomed to repeat it. Not only did the US fail to learn the lesson provided by the Soviet Union’s defeat in Afghanistan, but we also did not learn from our own experience in trying to fight a war on religion.

Like most Americans, I received my history education in high school and college. At the time, I did not realize that what I was learning was carefully crafted to only highlight our positive achievements with less positive events heavily redacted.

I never heard about the Moro War, and now reading about it, I find our current Middle East involvement eerily similar.  It seems that we have learned nothing in the last 100 years. We always make the same mistakes over and over ad nauseum.

For a decade and a half, the U.S. Army waged war on fierce tribal Muslims in a remote land. Sound familiar?

By Danny Sjursen – TomDispatch

As it happens, that war unfolded half a world away from the Greater Middle East and more than a century ago in the southernmost islands of the Philippines. Back then, American soldiers fought not the Taliban, but the Moros, intensely independent Islamic tribesmen with a similarly storied record of resisting foreign invaders. Precious few today have ever heard of America’s Moro War, fought from 1899 to 1913, but it was, until Afghanistan, one of America’s longest sustained military campaigns.

Popular thinking assumes that the U.S. wasn’t meaningfully entangled in the Islamic world until Washington became embroiled in the Islamist Iranian revolution and the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, both in the pivotal year of 1979. It simply isn’t so. How soon we forget that the Army, which had fought prolonged guerrilla wars against tribal Native Americans throughout the nineteenth century, went on—often led by veterans of those Indian Wars—to wage a counterinsurgency war on tribal Islamic Moros in the Philippine Islands at the start of the new century, a conflict that was an outgrowth of the Spanish-American War.

That campaign is all but lost to history and the collective American memory. A basic Amazon search for “Moro War,” for instance, yields just seven books (half of them published by U.S. military war colleges), while a similar search for “Vietnam War” lists no less than 10,000 titles. Which is curious.

The war in the Southern Philippines wasn’t just six years longer than conventional American military operations in Vietnam, but also resulted in the awarding of 88 Congressional Medals of Honor and produced five future Army chiefs of staff. While the insurgency in the northern islands of the Philippines had fizzled out by 1902, the Moro rebels fought on for another decade. As Lieutenant Benny Foulois—later a general and the “father” of Army aviation—reflected, “The Filipino insurrection was mild compared to the difficulties we had with the Moros.”

Here are the relevant points when it comes to the Moro War (which will sound grimly familiar in a twenty-first-century forever-war context): the United States military shouldn’t have been there in the first place; the war was ultimately an operational and strategic failure, made more so by American hubris; and it should be seen, in retrospect, as (using a term General David Petraeus applied to our present Afghan War) the nation’s first “generational struggle.”

More than a century after the U.S. Army disengaged from Moroland, Islamist and other regional insurgencies continue to plague the southern Philippines. Indeed, the post-9/11 infusion of U.S. Army Special Forces into America’s former colony should probably be seen as only the latest phase in a 120-year struggle with the Moros. Which doesn’t portend well for the prospects of today’s “generational struggles” in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and parts of Africa.

The End of American Exceptionalism? The End of US Bases Overseas? The End of Israel? Trump 2020?

By Robert David Steele

As soon as I started seeing headlines in Israel asking if Trump could be trusted, I started to wonder if we are headed toward some kind of radical shift in the Middle East (such as the end of Israel), that would be accompanied by a radical shift in US foreign policy (such as the closure of all our military bases) and a radical change in the US domestic political scene (such as the end of the Democratic Party and the full exposure of the Zionist occupation forces that planned and executed both 9/11 and the many pedophilia entrapment operations across the USA, of which Jeffrey Epstein is merely the best known). I engaged a person who wishes to remain anonymous in conversation, and below are the questions they asked, with my answers.

Q. President Trump visited Afghanistan on 28 November, and claims peace talks with the Taliban have re-started. Henry Kissinger, the same man who predicted the end of Israel by 2022, has declared US “exceptionalism” to be over, and China to be the full equal of the USA. Your thoughts?

A. It was my privilege to serve in Afghanistan in 2013, as a contractor analyst for a Special Forces unit responsible for “big picture” evaluations. It was immediately clear to me that the government would not sign the Base Security Agreement; that Abdullah Abdullah, a Tajik pretending to be a Pashtun, was a world-class thief (as was Karzai), and that the Pashtuns own the country and there is no material difference between the Taliban and the Pashtun. They defeated the British, they defeated the Russians, and they have defeated the Americans. President Trump gets that – he also knows that the Chinese are years ahead of us in exploiting the rare earth minerals in northeastern Afghanistan; while the Pakistani military are creating new billionaires by processing Afghan opium into #4 heroin – opium not grown under the Taliban, but restored as a cash crop by the USA (our banks are desperate for drug money as a form of liquidity, and illicit cash funds illicit activities by rogue elements of the US military and CIA). We will leave Afghanistan soon militarily.  I am not sure the President has been briefed on how the Afghans hate the Chinese and would rather have someone else working the rare earths. It is possible Iran will again extend north, too few know that Herat in Afghanistan was once the capital of the Persian Empire.

Henry Kissinger, the man who killed 20,000 additional US troops by sabotaging the Paris Peace Talks for political gain, only to accept the same terms four years later, has always been, apart from nakedly amoral, one of America’s best analysts.  When he chooses to tell the truth, he is one of the best minds we have. The comment you refer to was made in November and featured in the Russian propaganda outlet Strategic Culture with the headline, “Henry Kissinger Gets It… US ‘Exceptionalism’ Is Over.” American exceptionalism ended when we fled Viet-Nam on 29 March 1973.  I lived in Saigon from 1963-1967 as the son of an oil executive engineer; today I realize that CIA bombed monasteries and churches to inspire hatred; that Ngo Dinh Diem was a despot with a murderous sister, and that we really went into Viet-Nam to “use up” our military so we would have to buy it again. Iraq was a similar misadventure, indeed all of our misadventures in the Middle East are summed up by our President, who has said “we spent seven trillion dollars there, and have nothing to show for it.” He is right. We will leave the Middle East, and Israel will cease to exist, if not by 2022, then by 2026.

Q. Iran is surrounded by 44 US military bases, and all indications are that President Trump is continuing to support Benjamin Netanyahu and Zionist Israel – while his son-in-law continues to be an almost satanic presence – as well as a laughingstock – in the White House. What is the basis for your confidence in relation to the closing of US bases overseas – including those surrounding Iran, and the end of Israel?

A. Allow me to answer that question at three levels – political, political, and political. At the first political level our President appears to be acutely aware that 22 million US veterans are angry – many of them are impoverished, unemployed, and mentally distressed, with over 75,000 amputees and 250,000 diagnosed as mentally disabled. Tulsi Gabbard, while a fraud in some ways, has captured the anti-war sentiment across America. America First means not Israel First and it means a growing public demand for an end to war as a racket, a phrase popularized by Marine Corps General Smedley Butler. President Trump knows that Michael Bloomberg can buy victory in 2020 – moderate Republicans are prepared to vote for Bloomberg despite his many elitist positions harmful to the average American, and Bloomberg could outspend Trump three to one. Bloomberg, with financial backing from another billionaire, Tom Steyer, is not the man that Trump is, but he has bigger pockets and a better campaign staff. The President, does, however, have fourteen initiatives he can take in 2020, so I continue to believe he will win in the Mother of All Landslides.

At the second political level, represented by Trump’s demand that South Korea pay for the US presence in Korea (a similar demand appears to have been made toward Japan), US bases overseas are not affordable any more. As the US economy “resets” we need to bring those troops and their wallets and all associated jobs – several million jobs counting local support jobs – back to America.

At the third political level, I believe that President Trump has already “made the deal” with General Secretary Xi Jinping and President Vladimir Putin, and everything we see that simulates friction over trade, Hong Kong protests, Syria, is just that: simulation. The over-all deal has been made.  The one big regional deal that remains to be made is with the Supreme Leader of Iran. I was deeply moved and impressed by the Supreme Leader’s recent comments as featured in Tehran Times on 15 November 2018, “Leader: Elimination of Israel doesn’t mean elimination of Jewish people.” Our President knows that Israel is an invented state; that Truman and Churchill were bribed to approve it over the objections of all American experts who knew this would lead to 200 years of regional instability. He knows – as the Supreme Leader has made clear – that restoring Palestine to the Palestinians in no way reduces the prosperity and peace available to Jews who remain in Palestine.

There is now increasing recognition in the USA that Israel and the Deep State are using multiculturalism, open borders, poisoning, and cultural warfare to destroy the USA from within.  This story is best told by Professor Kevin MacDonald in his book The Culture of Critique.

When Israel starts to ask the question, “Is Trump the Biggest Threat to Jews?,” we are making progress.

Let me end by pointing your readers to two books, one by David Vine and one by myself, that establish the practical political, economic, and cultural reasons for closing all US bases overseas.

David Vine, in BASE NATION: How U.S. Military Bases Abroad Harm America and the World(Metropolitan Books, 2015) is one of the most patriotic and practical books I have read out of over 2,000 non-fiction books that I recently discussed in a lecture now on video. Here are seven specifics from that superb book:

01 Drawing on RAND and former senior Department of Defense leaders, the author shows how any given base overseas costs at least twice what it would cost, per year, if it were located in the USA

02 The effectiveness costs of destroying the military’s ability to do its own logistics including combat and support engineering, in favor of private military corporations (PMC).

03 The internal social costs of a constantly deployed military include truly horrific internal rapes — not just men of women but men of men — and an aggregation of pathologies that I find worthy of an immediate shut-down.

04 The external social costs of this same deployed military are huge — from entire cities devoted to prostitution around the largest of US base networks (Korea and Germany stand out) to criminal relationships carried over from one command to the next. External costs also include inflated land prices, distortions in local and national government spending (e.g. granting land and waivers to US forces in lieu of pursuing the public interest).

05 The opportunity costs to American society of misdirected spending on the military are very well covered by the author, and merit careful study. These opportunity costs span both the alternatives in the way of poverty remediation, expenditures on domestic infrastructure, education, and family services, health care, are more; spending by troops and the military within the US domestic economy instead of foreign economies; and tax avoidance by the PMCs.

06 The outright waste cost of a system that is out of control — the military simply does not do cost-benefit analysis and — my own comment here, has no strategy because it lacks intelligence with integrity.

07 The total cost of Empire — the vast costs, including the four trillion dollar war that destabilized Iraq and began the unraveling of the Middle East, Central Asia, and North Africa. The author offers less in this area than I would have liked as context, but his focus is on bases and their direct costs.

The balance of my review of this superb book is free online.

My own book, delivered to the White House in four copies on 29 November 2019, and to the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of the Army, eleven Army generals, one Marine Corps general, and one Admiral on 2 December 2019, is REINVENTING NATIONAL SECURITY: Grand Strategy, Global Reality, and the U.S. Army — Everything Our President Is Not Being Told (Trump Revolution 45). This book is available as a full-color printed book, as an electronic book, and also free online in its original three-monograph form as published by myself after the sponsor of the work, the US Army’s Strategic Studies Institute, paid me and then censored the work —  they refused to publish it for all the wrong reasons. My letter of transmittal to the President is a matter of public record, make of it what you will.

Q. Would you mind sharing the text of your letter and the distribution list here, with our readers?

A. I would be glad to share this. A complete copy of the letter including the single graphic worthy of a President or Supreme Leader, and the distribution list is online at Robert Steele: Open Letter to the President: Reinventing National Security – New Book.

Here are two quotes from the letter:

There are two keys to taking down the Deep State: the first is to reduce the secret IC by 70% while also moving the NIC to the EOP and creating the Open Source Agency (OSA) that CIA has fought me on since 1988.  You can apply the savings toward retraining all those let go (a “soft landing” as you cut the size of government) while also creating real jobs in the heartland.

The second key is the closing of all our bases overseas – stop being everyone else’s Army and bring those dollars (and jobs) home. There is a role for DoD here at home – a return to the Home Guard concept.  Congress will go along if you show that transformation can be job and revenue neutral state by state and district by district. We need to stop letting the Deep State treat DoD as its piggy bank and enforcer – war is a racket, and only you can stop that racket.  I seek to help you. You cannot Make America Great Again without first dealing with the endless-war/regime-change complex that also uses our bases as lily pads for human and drug trafficking.

I have done all I can to serve my country. I am not sure President Trump can survive the traitors and mediocrities that surround him, but I pray for his re-election and his triumph. If he does not finish the job others – including myself – can and will, from 2024 onwards.  The die is cast.

Let me also encourage your readers to consider the possibility that President Trump is managing our exit from the Middle East in a most brilliant manner that the Supreme Leader would find encouraging. Here is the one article I have been able to discover that articulates the genius behind the complex moves being made by our President:

Sylvain LaForest, “About Trump,” Oriental Review, 15 November 2019

Q. I see now that I have not asked about the 2020 election and how you see things developing. Can you share your appreciation for the current impeachment process and projected 2020 electoral process?

A. Gladly. While I remain very concerned by our President’s failure to connect with blacks, Latinos, women, the young, and the old, on balance he appears headed for a landslide victory, in part because the Democratic Party is now in complete disgrace over the impeachment witch-hunt that followed the Russian witch-hunt, and in part because of the mediocrity of all of the Democratic candidates including Michael Bloomberg, whom I like personally but who lacks the charisma and populist instincts of Donald Trump.

Let’s start with the contrast that is about to be drawn between Adam Schiff, a Zionist tool who is probably being bribed if not blackmailed over all of the pedophilia and murderous pedophilia going on in his Los Angeles District, and John Durham, who is about to bring criminal indictments in the Russian witch-hunt case.  I am expecting at least six criminal indictments that will wreak havoc with the Shadow Government and particularly those traitors in the Department of Justice, the CIA, and the FBI, who organized a deliberate coup against our President, beginning with illegal surveillance and a collaboration with the British intelligence services, approved by the Prime Minister, that can only be described as wicked.  The special relationship with the British may be OVER.

The Democrats are now panicking, and starting to speak of censure instead of impeachment at the same time that our President is demanding that they impeach him so he can mount a defense including witnesses under oath, a defense that will surely increase the number of citizens who favor our President over his detractors while also leading to more criminal indictments.

The evidence against Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden continues to mount, there is an equal amount of evidence with respect to criminal enrichment by Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi, 2020 may be the year in which the Democratic Party not only loses the House, but loses a third of its House seats to Tea Party Republicans, Libertarians, and Independents.  If the President were to embrace #UNRIG and level the playing field in time for Libertarians and Independents to be elected in 2020, not only will he win in the Mother of All Landslides himself, but the Democratic Party will be destroyed once and for all.

He may not be impeached – over ten Democrats in the House whose Districts love Trump now realize they could lose re-election in 2020 if they vote for impeachment. Even if he is impeached, the Senate proceedings will further undermine the Democratic Party and never lead to conviction.

More troubling is a recent attempt to poison President Trump and put Mike Pence in power. Thankfully this failed – Pence is a lazy hypocrite and Zionist tool known to have stabbed our President in the back with major donors.  He should be dismissed in favor of Dr. Cynthia McKinney as a unity vice president. It is even possible the British were parties to the recent poisoning, which appeared to be rooted in the use of polonium, the same poison used in the British false flag assassination of long-forgiven Russian defector Alexander Litvinenko.

There are for me three uncertainties going forward into 2020.

The first is the President himself.  He does not have a great team of campaign strategists and communicators, he is carrying the entire campaign on his own shoulders.  He has no surrogates of note for reaching out to blacks, Latinos, students in debt, elderly in debt, and suburban as well as rural women who do not in any way identify with #UnwantedIvanka. I believe in our President and I believe he can do fourteen different things in the months leading up to Election Day.  I do not think he will take on the Zionists – including 9/11 disclosure and Epstein disclosure – until after re-election but I want to make a critical observation: Zionist money is now out of favor, and Jewish voters are now liberated from Zionist command – Elizabeth Warren’s criticism of Israeli settlements is the truth-teller on this point. She is saying she does not want nor need Zionist money, and is confident of receiving Jewish votes regardless of how Zionist Israel might wish to oppose her advancement.

The second is Michael Bloomberg.  If Bloomberg were to follow my playback at the same time that the President refuses to entertain a black female vice president, #UNRIG, and a unity Cabinet of real people instead of fellow billionaires, Bloomberg can buy the election with ease.  A Bloomberg-Gabbard ticket would be competitive, but President Trump should destroy both of them if he is at his best.  A Bloomberg-McKinney ticket would be harder to beat – but McKinney favors President Trump, so it is a real frustration to me that those who “guard” the President are keeping him from talking to her by lying to our President about her – they will do anything to keep him from having an authentic female colored vice president respected by blacks, women, and progressives across the USA.

Third and last is the Libertarian Party. I consider their leadership myopic and self-destructive and have had this discussion with John McAfee, their most prominent candidate for the presidential nomination. Because the Libertarian Party is the only party that is capable of getting their candidate on every one of the fifty state ballots, it is the only party remotely capable of winning against the two-party tyranny that rigs the system to shut out 70% of the voters. Sadly, my efforts to get the Libertarians to embrace #UNRIG, create a unity ticket with the Greens, and announce a coalition cabinet and balanced budget have failed. They could still surprise me – a Jesse Ventura – Cynthia McKinney Libertarian ticket would change the dynamics of the election and force Trump to make concessions or guarantee a victory for Bloomberg.

On balance, I believe that President Trump will triumph, not only in re-election, but in what he does in his second term. I have listed fourteen things that I think he is already doing or that I would like to see him doing, and that list has proven quite popular, both as a video and as an online post.

Given $738 Billion, US War Budget Hits the Motherlode (Again)

The delusions of militarism live on in a nation addicted to violence and bloodshed for profit.

The annual defense budget, passed recently by both the House (377-48) and Senate (82-8), came in at $738 billion for 2020, up from last year a sweet $22 billion.

War hits the motherlode every year.

“The money just isn’t there” for virtually anything that matters — you know, healthcare for all, free college tuition, clean water, eco-sustainable energy production — but we’ve sold the national soul to the war god so long ago that the perfunctory, bipartisan passage of the National Defense Authorization Act comes and goes every year with, at most, a few marginal cries of outrage and a big shrug from the media.

“Oh, Mother Earth! As soon as we move incrementally toward peace, our soul snaps and all we can envision is war.”

This year the NDAA came with a few extra stocking-stuffers for the warmongers and profiteers. It bequeathed the world an upgraded possibility of nuclear war and guaranteed the universe a future of bellicosity beyond the confines of Mother Earth.

The temptation for me as I write about this is to hide behind a façade of sarcasm as I hurl my scathing little criticisms at the politicians, the mainstream media and the corrupt bureaucratic farce known as the Pentagon. The alternative is to stand naked and vulnerable to what is being done: lobotomizing humanity’s collective thought process, killing the future.

Consider these words of Charles Edward Jefferson, published in the March 1909 issue of The Atlantic — at the dawn, my God, of the 20th century, before World War I set the world on fire:

“Militarism has foisted upon the world a policy which handicaps the work of the church, cripples the hand of philanthropy, blocks the wheels of constructive legislation, cuts the nerve of reform, blinds statesmen to dangers which are imminent and portentous, such as poverty and all the horde of evils which come from insufficient nutrition, and fixes the eyes upon perils which are fanciful and far away. It multiplies the seeds of discord, debilitates the mind by filling it with vain imaginations, corrodes the heart by feelings of suspicion and ill-will. It is starving and stunting the lives of millions, and subjecting the very frame of society to a strain which it cannot indefinitely endure.”

A hundred and ten years later, the truth in his essay, called “The Delusion of Militarism,” has merely intensified. How hot do they have to get before they can no longer be ignored? Our militarized political focus remains fixed “upon perils which are fanciful and far away.”

Thus the NDAA officially created a sixth branch of the American military, the Space Force, “establishing,” in the words of Donald Trump, “space as a warfighting domain” and guaranteeing that “the United States will dominate in that environment just like all others.”

The Hill explains it further: American corporations will eventually start building factories in outer space and mining “the moon and the asteroids for their mineral wealth.” But have no fears: “The United States Space Force will ensure that no unfriendly power can impede these activities through military attack. The new service branch will have to be so strong and capable that no other country would think of trying to bring fire and destruction to American and allied space infrastructure.”

So, apparently, expanding the human enterprise into the great beyond will not in any way unify the planet or free political minds from the nationalism and hubris that encages them — not if Trump has anything to say about it (and he does).

Jefferson, discussing The Hague Conventions of 1899 and 1907 — where “everybody conceded that it was better to settle international disputes by reason rather than by force” — points out that “as soon as the legal machinery was created, by means of which the sword could be dispensed with, there was a fresh fury to perfect at once all the instruments of destruction. After each new peace conference there was a fresh cry for more guns.”

But he sees hope on the horizon: “The old policy is wrong. The old leaders are discredited. The old programme is obsolete. Those who wish for peace must prepare for it. Our supreme business is not the scaring of rivals, but the making of friends.

“Will America become a leader? . . . Will she, by setting a daring example, arrest the growth of armaments throughout the world?”

Is Jefferson’s irony-saturated question dead and buried, beyond any possibility of exhumation? It certainly seems that way. Militarism — American militarism in particular — keeps claiming the future and seems intent on doing so until there’s no future left to claim. One of the provisions of the newly passed NDAA, for instance, allows the deployment, on U.S. Trident submarines, of the W76-2 tactical nuclear warhead, a low-yield nuclear warhead that puts it in the realm of being a “usable” nuke: possibly the most insane concept in the history of warfare.

Ken Kimmell, president of the Union of Concerned Scientists, writes with alarm: “This bill accelerates the growing nuclear arms race with Russia. It fully funds almost every element of the Trump administration’s trillion-dollar plan to replace the entire U.S. nuclear arsenal with new, more deadly weapons that we do not need, and cannot afford. Most immediately, the bill will allow the Trump administration to quickly deploy the new W76-2 nuclear warhead — a lower yield weapon specifically intended to be more useable in a nuclear conflict. Weapons such as this one make nuclear war more likely and do nothing to enhance our security.”

“. . . there was a fresh fury to perfect at once all the instruments of destruction.”

Oh, Mother Earth! As soon as we move incrementally toward peace, our soul snaps and all we can envision is war. Nuclear weapons once sat smugly as agents of deterrence. But the W76-2, which is slightly smaller than the bombs actually dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, is a weapon to be used — to murder and contaminate, not simply to intimidate. It is not surprising that such a weapon would find its way into the global arsenal.

Tick, tick, tick . . .

Peace for Donbass a distant hope in Ukraine

The Kiev Coup neo-Nazis thought that burying prisoners alive was…just fun.

By Jim W. Dean,

by Christopher Black, international attorney, …with New Eastern Outlook, Moscow, …and the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, research institution for the study of the countries and cultures of Asia and North Africa.

[ Editor’s Note: Mr. Black gives us a hard boiled lawyer’s view of what really went on at the two years late Minsk meeting, where the US handlers came in to visit with Zelensky a day before the big show to make sure he knew where the red lines were for continued US support.

I suspect the US plan is similar to the “Deal of the Century” for the Palestinians, where they are offered something they could never accept and are punished for refusing, a rerun of Netanyahu’s old scam of “we have no partners for peace.”

France and Germany seem to be playing along with Trump, despite his ramming Nordstream 2 up Merkel’s behind. While she may scream foul, it is the big Swiss undersea pipe-laying company and stockholders that would take the big hit.

What I see here is the US wanting to kill off this Swiss company, as it wants no more undersea pipelines laid as a way squashing the competition for lower priced oil and gas.

There is even more irony in seeing France and German just fine with the Russian sanctions over the “Crimea being seized” hoax, but then thinking it is bad when Trump is using the sanctions hammer on them.

Surprisingly, Putin did take off the table cutting gas transit through Ukraine. The clock is ticking to get a deal done before the December 31 deadline. I assume this was a gesture to not look like the Christmas ogre, but if Zelensky drives too tough a deal, Putin can put the blame on him.

The Kiev Coup neo-Nazis thought that burying prisoners alive was…just fun.

– First published … December 18, 2019 –

The Normandy Four talks, held in Paris,on December 11, between Russia, Germany, France and the Kiev regime of Ukraine produced not much except more of the same: vague commitments to seek peace, agreements on prisoner exchange and gas supplies, but little else.

Russia remains committed to the Minsk Agreements of 2015 and the road to a peaceful resolution of the conflict set out in those agreements  but faces weak support from Germany and France; which as parts of NATO have a deep interest in keeping the conflict boiling, to harass Russia and give NATO  pretext for moving troops there.

There is even weaker support from the new Kiev leader, Zelensky, whose commitment to peace is doubtful in the first place and who, in the second place, faces difficulties in the face of strong opposition in Kiev and from the US whose officials met with him the day before; no doubt warning him not to agree to anything substantive the US does not like.

Instead of explaining at the meeting why Kiev has not fulfilled its commitments under the Minsk Agreements, he insisted that nothing could be resolved until security in the Donbass had been achieved.

But, since it is the Kiev regime that has besieged the Donbass republics since 2014, shelled its towns and villages and assassinated its leaders, his words ring very hollow. The former comic claimed he would bring a fresh approach to Ukraine if elected but all he has brought is more of the same duplicity and ill intentions as his predecessor, Poroshenko.

President Putin, in response, warned of the dangers to the people of the Donbass republics that exist from the the fascists in the Kiev government and in the armed militias that are tolerated by it, existing outside the regular army structure.

Putin warned that if Kiev seized control of the Donbass region, massacres of the population by fascist proxy forces of Kiev and NATO were a potential scenario that Russia could not allow to happen.

He used an unfortunate reference to the NATO propaganda claims of a massacre at Srebrenica to emphasize his statement, seemingly unaware that no credible evidence of a massacre by Republic of Srpska forces has ever been presented by NATO either in the media or at the Hague Tribunal.

He was unaware that Dutch marines, who had been there, stated that to me that it never happened, and unaware of the video of the meeting between General Mladic and NATO officers at the Fontana Hotel to resolve the stand-off at Srebrenica which proves no such massacre took place.

But Putin was correct to warn the world of the real potential for massacres to be committed against the people in the Donbass.  Indeed, we have seen the massacre that took place in the Maidan events in 2014 when right wing, NATO connected, snipers shot people down in order to put the blame on the government forces, as part of a NATO backed coup, and the subsequent massacre of people resisting the coup by right wing elements at Odessa. The Kiev regime is very capable of committing such atrocities and NATO covering them up.

Evidence of this potentially surfaced in November when the Danilov Letter, not mentioned in the western media, was leaked to Ukrainian social media.

On 12 November, a Telegram channel called “Joker DNR” sent a PDF document containing a photocopy of a letter allegedly written by the Secretary of the National Security Council of Ukraine, Aleksey Danilov proposing a plan to deport the Donbass inhabitants once Ukraine has recovered control of the border with Russian federation.

The letter states,

“After the transfer of State border control to the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the National Border Service, it is necessary to immediately begin the process of reintegration and re-Ukrainianization of the population of the occupied territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions and their reconciliation with the other citizens of Ukraine.

Given that the population of the occupied territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk oblasts has been influenced by Russian propaganda and deprived of access to the Ukrainian media in recent years, the political position of the overwhelming majority of residents of the occupied territories is not pro-Ukrainian.

In this respect, it is necessary to give residents of the occupied territories the possibility to leave the territory of Ukraine and travel to the Russian Federation to establish their permanent residence there within one month.

The following measures should be taken with regard to residents of the occupied territories, who will not want to take the opportunity to leave Ukraine after this period, in particular to determine their degree of complicity in the activities of illegal armed groups and occupation administrations.

It is also necessary to establish a list of persons who worked in companies registered with the occupation administration and who paid “taxes” to the budget of the occupation administration and those who were under the control of the occupation authorities, industrial companies, public organizations and other institutions.

Depending on the degree of complicity, apply criminal, administrative or educational measures to them. In order to rehabilitate the inhabitants of the occupied territories, resettle them in the central or western regions of Ukraine.

At the same time, temporarily displaced persons who, in 2014-2015, left the occupied territories and settled in the regions of Ukraine, without wishing to submit to the occupation authorities, should be granted all the necessary conditions to return to the places of their former residence.

It is these people, patriots of Ukraine, who can and will continue to restore the Donbass. They should receive all the necessary material and moral support.”

So those several million people not willing to leave their homes within one month would be forcibly transferred to the west or forced into Russia and those forcibly moved to the west would face criminal charges.

Forced deportation or transfer of a civilian population constitutes a crime against humanity under international law and under Article 7 of the Rome Statute will result in criminal liability. But the International Criminal Court has not added the Danilov Letter to its list of concerns.

For some weeks there was no response from the Kiev regime to the leak until finally Danilov posted a statement on the government website claiming it was a fake. Yet it has all the marks of authenticity and, what makes it more likely to be authentic than a fake is the claim made by a US connected website, Stopfake, in tandem with Danilov’s claim, that it was Russian propaganda.  But the plausibility of that being the case disappears when it is known who Stopfake are.

The chief editor of Stopfake is Yevhen Fedchenko, director of the pro-US Mohyla School of Journalism in Kiev which served in 2014 as a headquarters of the fascists that fomented the coup.

His interests include propaganda, weaponisation of information, and coverage of international politics in media. Tellingly, he has contributed to RFE/RL, the BBC, NPR, Public Radio International, Radio Canada International, the CBC, Mashable, andSKY News.

In 2006-7 he was co-director of the Ohio University/Kyiv-Mohyla Academy Linkage Program, supported and financed by the US State Department, and in 2010-2011, Yevhen Fedchenko was Fulbright visiting professor at the University of Southern California, Annenberg campus in Los Angeles.

Stopfake states that their main objective is to check facts, verify information and refute incorrect reports and perceived propaganda about events in Crimea covered in the media.

“The reason we are doing this is very simple — aggression against Ukraine is unfolding, and it’s not only military aggression but very powerful information warfare. And Ukraine was losing it,” said Yevehn Fedchenko, director of Mohyla School of Journalism in Kiev to the website Mashable. It is noteworthy that Fedchenko is also listed as a speaker at the Aspen Institute of Kiev and that in turn leads us to its headquarters in Washington.

The Aspen Institute claims to be a forum for the discussion of ideas but in fact it is part of the network of disinformation organsiations set up by the USA over the years. When we check its Board of Trustees we find the likes of Chrystia Freeland, former Canadian Foreign Minister and now deputy Prime Minister, whose connections to the Nazis of the Kiev regime are well known, war criminals Madeleine Albright, Javiar Solana, and Condoleezza Rice, and US ally, Queen Noor of Jordan.

The Current Chairman is James S. Crown, chairman and chief executive officer of Henry Crown and Company, a privately owned company which invests in public and private securities, real estate, and operating companies. He serves as lead director of General Dynamics Corporation and is a director of JPMorgan Chase. Crown is a former member of the US President’s Intelligence Advisory Board, appointed by President Barack Obama.

The Aspen Institute hosts interviews on its website of Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of NATO talking about Russia as a threat, and US government officials such as Susan Rice and others. Its main focus clearly is to create propaganda against Russia and China and support of Stopfake is part of that objective.

People can draw their own conclusions but to me it is clear that Stopfake acted in concert with Danilov and the Kiev regime to try to bury the letter and their considered plans for the Donbass if they seize back control of the region.

However, despite this letter and his recognition of the risks, Putin, ever optimistic stated,“There are different interpretations of the Minsk Agreements but there is no alternative to this package of measures.

“Any agreement is flexible to a certain extent, and some things written in texts may be interpreted differently by the sides,”However, I agree that there is no alternative to the Minsk Agreements, and everything should be done to implement them in full.”

He stated he sensed there was a “thaw” in relations between Kiev and Russia, as shown with some recent prisoner transfers, and we have to hope he is right and that the situation develops in a positive direction but, as he himself warned, there can be no ultimate solution outside the Minsk Agreements and that includes taking into account the security of the people of the Donbass, their continued future and their close relationship with Russia.

The only way forward is to resolve the conflict at the political level on the basis of the recognition of the right to self-rule and autonomy for the Donbass republics, the creation of a federal state to assure ethnic stability, and the commitment by Ukraine that it will be a neutral state and not part of any plan to “contain” Russia, a plan that can only lead to world war.

But the NATO puppets in charge of Ukraine do not act in the interests of Ukraine, but in the interests of NATO, and, until that changes, peace for the Donbass remains a distant hope.

The Key to the Environmental Crisis is Beneath Our Feet

The Green New Deal resolution that was introduced into the U.S. House of Representatives in February hit a wall in the Senate, where it was called unrealistic and unaffordable. In a Washington Post article titled “The Green New Deal Sets Us Up for Failure. We Need a Better Approach,” former Colorado governor and Democratic presidential candidate John Hickenlooper framed the problem like this:

The resolution sets unachievable goals. We do not yet have the technology needed to reach “net-zero greenhouse gas emissions” in 10 years. That’s why many wind and solar companies don’t support it. There is no clean substitute for jet fuel. Electric vehicles are growing quickly, yet are still in their infancy. Manufacturing industries such as steel and chemicals, which account for almost as much carbon emissions as transportation, are even harder to decarbonize.

Amid this technological innovation, we need to ensure that energy is not only clean but also affordable. Millionas of Americans struggle with “energy poverty.” Too often, low-income Americans must choose between paying for medicine and having their heat shut off. …

If climate change policy becomes synonymous in the U.S. psyche with higher utility bills, rising taxes and lost jobs, we will have missed our shot.

The problem may be that a transition to 100% renewables is the wrong target. Reversing climate change need not mean emptying our pockets and tightening our belts. It is possible to sequester carbon and restore our collapsing ecosystem using the financial resources we already have, and it can be done while at the same time improving the quality of our food, water, air and general health.

The Larger Problem – and the Solution – Is in the Soil

Contrary to popular belief, the biggest environmental polluters are not big fossil fuel companies. They are big agribusiness and factory farming, with six powerful food industry giants – Archer Daniels Midland, Cargill, Dean Foods, Dow AgroSciences, Tyson and Monsanto (now merged with Bayer) – playing a major role. Oil-dependent farming, industrial livestock operations, the clearing of carbon-storing fields and forests, the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and the combustion of fuel to process and distribute food are estimated to be responsible for as much as one-half of human-caused pollution. Climate change, while partly a consequence of the excessive relocation of carbon and other elements from the earth into the atmosphere, is more fundamentally just one symptom of overall ecosystem distress from centuries of over-tilling, over-grazing, over-burning, over-hunting, over-fishing and deforestation.

Big Ag’s toxin-laden, nutrient-poor food is also a major contributor to the U.S. obesity epidemic and many other diseases. Yet these are the industries getting the largest subsidies from U.S. taxpayers, to the tune of more than $20 billion annually. We don’t hear about this for the same reason that they get the subsidies – they have massively funded lobbies capable of bribing their way into special treatment.

The story we do hear, as Judith Schwartz observes in The Guardian, is, “Climate change is global warming caused by too much CO2 in the atmosphere due to the burning of fossil fuels. We stop climate change by making the transition to renewable energy.” Schwartz does not discount this part of the story but points to several problems with it:

One is the uncomfortable fact that even if, by some miracle, we could immediately cut emissions to zero, due to inertia in the system it would take more than a century for CO2 levels to drop to 350 parts per million, which is considered the safe threshold. Plus, here’s what we don’t talk about when we talk about climate: we can all go solar and drive electric cars and still have the problems – the unprecedented heat waves, the wacky weather – that we now associate with CO2-driven climate change.

But that hasn’t stopped investors, who see the climate crisis as simply another profit opportunity. According to a study by Morgan Stanley analysts reported in Forbes in October, halting global warming and reducing net carbon emissions to zero would take an investment of $50 trillion over the next three decades, including $14 trillion for renewables; $11 trillion to build the factories, batteries and infrastructure necessary for a widespread switch to electric vehicles; $2.5 trillion for carbon capture and storage; $20 trillion to provide clean hydrogen fuel for power, cars and other industries, and $2.7 trillion for biofuels. The article goes on to highlight the investment opportunities presented by these challenges by recommending various big companies expected to lead the transition, including  Exxon, Chevron, BP, General Electric, Shell and similar corporate giants – many of them the very companies blamed by Green New Deal advocates for the crisis.

A Truly Green New Deal

There is a much cheaper and faster way to sequester carbon from the atmosphere that doesn’t rely on these corporate giants to transition us to 100% renewables. Additionally, it can be done while at the same time reducing the chronic diseases that impose an even heavier cost on citizens and governments. Our most powerful partner is nature itself, which over hundreds of millions of years has evolved the most efficient carbon sequestration system on the planet. As David Perry writes on the World Economic Forum website:

This solution leverages a natural process that every plant undergoes, powered by a source that is always available, costs little to nothing to run and does not cause further pollution. This power source is the sun, and the process is photosynthesis.

A plant takes carbon dioxide out of the air and, with the help of sunlight and water, converts it to sugars. Every bit of that plant – stems, leaves, roots – is made from carbon that was once in our atmosphere. Some of this carbon goes into the soil as roots. The roots, then, release sugars to feed soil microbes. These microbes perform their own chemical processes to convert carbon into even more stable forms.

Perry observes that before farmland was cultivated, it had soil carbon levels of from 3% to 7%. Today, those levels are roughly 1% carbon. If every acre of farmland globally were returned to a soil carbon level of just 3%, 1 trillion tons of carbon dioxide would be removed from the atmosphere and stored in the soil – equal to the amount of carbon that has been drawn into the atmosphere since the dawn of the Industrial Revolution 200 years ago. The size of the potential solution matches the size of the problem.

So how can we increase the carbon content of soil? Through “regenerative” farming practices, says Perry, including planting cover crops, no-till farming, rotating crops, reducing chemicals and fertilizers, and managed grazing (combining trees, forage plants and livestock together as an integrated system, a technique called “silvopasture”). These practices have been demonstrated to drive carbon into the soil and keep it there, resulting in carbon-enriched soils that are healthier and more resilient to extreme weather conditions and show improved water permeability, preventing the rainwater runoff that contributes to rising sea levels and rising temperatures. Evaporation from degraded, exposed soil has been shown to cause 1,600% more heat annually than all the world’s powerhouses combined. Regenerative farming methods also produce increased microbial diversity, higher yields, reduced input requirements, more nutritious harvests and increased farm profits.

These highly favorable results were confirmed by Paul Hawken and his team in the project that was the subject of his best-selling 2016 book, “Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming.” The project involved evaluating the 100 most promising solutions to the environmental crisis for cost and effectiveness. The results surprised the researchers themselves. The best-performing sector was not “Transport” or “Materials” or “Buildings and Cities” or even “Electricity Generation.” It was the sector called “Food,” including how we grow our food, market it and use it. Of the top 30 solutions, 12 were various forms of regenerative agriculture, including silvopasture, tropical staple trees, conservation agriculture, tree intercropping, managed grazing, farmland restoration and multistrata agroforestry.

How to Fund It All

If regenerative farming increases farmers’ bottom lines, why aren’t they already doing it? For one thing, the benefits of the approach are not well known. But even if they were, farmers would have a hard time making the switch. As noted in a Rolling Stone article titled “How Big Agriculture Is Preventing Farmers From Combating the Climate Crisis”:

[I]implementing these practices requires an economic flexibility most farmers don’t have, and which is almost impossible to achieve within a government-backed system designed to preserve a large-scale, corporate-farming monoculture based around commodity crops like corn and soybeans, which often cost smaller farmers more money to grow than they can make selling.

Farmers are locked into a system that is destroying their farmlands and the planet, because a handful of giant agribusinesses have captured Congress and the regulators. One proposed solution is to transfer the $20 billion in subsidies that now go mainly to Big Ag into a fund to compensate small farmers who transition to regenerative practices. We also need to enforce the antitrust laws and break up the biggest agribusinesses, something for which legislation is now pending in Congress.

At the grassroots level, we can vote with our pocketbooks by demanding truly nutritious foods. New technology is in development that can help with this grassroots approach by validating how nutrient-dense our foods really are. One such device, developed by Dan Kittredge and team, is a hand-held consumer spectrometer called a Bionutrient Meter, which tests nutrient density at point of purchase. The goal is to bring transparency to the marketplace, empowering consumers to choose their foods based on demonstrated nutrient quality, providing economic incentives to growers and grocers to drive regenerative practices across the system. Other new technology measures nutrient density in the soil, allowing farmers to be compensated in proportion to their verified success in carbon sequestration and soil regeneration.

Granted, $20 billion is unlikely to be enough to finance the critically needed transition from destructive to regenerative agriculture, but Congress can supplement this fund by tapping the deep pocket of the central bank. In the last decade, the Fed has demonstrated that its pool of financial liquidity is potentially limitless, but the chief beneficiaries of its largess have been big banks and their wealthy clients. We need a form of quantitative easing that actually serves the local productive economy. That might require modifying the Federal Reserve Act, but Congress has modified it before. The only real limit on new money creation is consumer price inflation, and there is room for a great deal more money to be pumped into the productive local economy before that ceiling is hit than is circulating in it now. For a detailed analysis of this issue, see my earlier articles here and here and latest book, “Banking on the People.”

The bottom line is that saving the planet from environmental destruction is not only achievable, but that by focusing on regenerative agriculture and tapping up the central bank for funding, the climate crisis can be addressed without raising taxes and while restoring our collective health.
