NOVANEWS
Act for Israel

screen-shot-2017-03-04-at-9-33-38-am

1. Rep. Ron DeSantis (Likud, FL) sure does love Israel. He really loves Israel.  This former legal advisor to Seal Team 6 and haunter of the Joint Task Force in GTMO – and lover of GTMO as far as I can tell, but he loves Israel even more – but I am already digressing.

Okay, where was I?

Yes, this lover of Israel and frequent defender of Israel is doing something right now, and I mean literally right fucking now (RFN) that I want to get to. In a minute.

First let me tell you about the letter he wrote to Trump using his own US Israeli Congressional stationary, telling President to be Trump that he had damn fucking well better move the US Israeli embassy to Jerusalem. You can read the whole letter here on Desantis’ website. Please do note that DeSantis initiated the letter and then got 101 other Israel-suck ups to sign it. Here is an excerpt: (Note to Shas Party members, red-highlighting is done by today’s guest editor Ron Desantis:)

“During your campaign, you made a forceful pledge to move our American (sic) embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, which is the eternal capital of the Jewish people and the State of Israel.”

Hmmm. Let me digress. Since when do we pay for government officials to engage in metaphysics talking about the eternalness of anything? And if it is the capital of all Jews, then does DeSantis think that Jews should be loyal to Israel first – as he is even though he is not a Jew?

Anyway, the letter continues:

We write to express support for this policy and to urge you to take swift action to relocate our (sic) embassy to Jerusalem as soon as you take office.

Israel is one of the United States’ closest allies and stands alone in the Middle East for its commitment to democratic ideals. Moving the embassy will strenghtn the unique alliance between Israel and the United States and send a clear message to the world that we support Israel in recognizing Jerusalem as its eternal capital.

You can read the whole letter here and see if your congressional rep was one of the signatories.

Not long after that letter was written DeSantis brought up the issue again in this really weird press release.

Washington, DC – Rep. Ron DeSantis (Likud-06), Chairman of the National Security Subcommittee, today convened an Advisory Council for Israel and Middle East Security. Its membership of advisors from Florida and around the country will explore ways to repair U.S.–Israel relations and combat security threats facing Israel and the United States.

“With the pending relocation of our embassy in Israel to Jerusalem and the arrival of the Trump administration, we have entered a new era in American-Israeli relations and have a great opportunity to chart a productive course,” DeSantis said. “My subcommittee conducts oversight over embassy issues and I have been active in highlighting the dangers of the BDS movement and the threat posed by militant Islam. I have no doubt that we will have a lot on our plate moving forward, and having an esteemed group of advisors willing to share their keen insights on these issues will be a great help to me. I thank them for their willingness to assist my efforts to support our friend and ally Israel.”

Nice how he got in the phrase “militant Islam” isn’t it. And of course the anti-BDS theme is there  too along with the let’s move the US embassy to Jerusalem verbiage.

And just to make sure we get the point, the document ends with this:

The Advisory Council for Israel and Middle East Security will help develop policies to help facilitate a more productive American posture in the Middle East, which includes moving the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Israel’s capital, Jerusalem.

The Adisory Council is a pretty damn long list. Funny how the House’s National Security Subcommittee is in need of an “Advisory Council for Israel and Middle East Security” at all, and second that that council needs to be comprised of only people from Florida with Middle Eastern sounding names. Clearly a bunch of militant Islamists  have taken over the advisory council.

Okay, I can hear you all bitching and moaning “Mantiq, look he has to be this way, he’s in Florida and there you have to be anti-Castro and pro-Israel, though not necessarily in that. order. It’s not like he is advocating that Israel keep the Golan Heights.”

Washington, DC – Rep. Ron DeSantis (FL-06) issued the following statement of support for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s position that the Golan Heights will remain under the control of Israel:

“For almost 50 years, Israel has maintained peace in the Golan Heights region and I support Prime Minister Netanyahu’s position that Israel should maintain control. If Israel were to cede the Golan Heights the area would become a magnet for terrorism and would give Israel’s enemies a launching pad from which to wage war against the Jewish state.  U.S. policy should support the Prime Minister’s position and recognize the Golan Heights as a part of Israel.”

Now you won’t find this on his website, or on his twitter feed, but Ronny boy is at this very minute on an official National Security Subcommittee-sponsored trip  to Jerusalem to investigate moving the US embassy to Jerusalem. It’s a short trip, just 24 hours and Desantis and his committee seem to be very quiet about it. But when he gets back he’ll continue to put the pressure on Trump.

Please let him know how much you appreciate his working for Israel. Go here:

and you can look in the upper right hand corner for links to his social media sites.

Interesting enough, Rep.  Dennis Ross (Israel Home, Fl), who is reported to also be going on the trip is said to have denied that he is going according to this Press TV link.

2. Okay it is video time. Watch this unbelievable suck up to Israel. Can there be a bigger whore than this guy? Probably, but he does set the bar pretty high. Please make sure there are no children in the room when you watch this.

ِTime for a make up call.

Film about Nazi imprisonment of Palestinians wins top award in Berlin

NOVANEWS
By Celine Hagbard

ghost_huntingA film depicting the torture, humiliation and violence experienced by Palestinians imprisoned by Nazi won the first ever “Silver Bear” award at the Berlinale international film festival.

The film, “Istiyad Ashbah” (Ghost Hunting), was produced by Palestinian filmmaker Raed Andoni.

It was one of 18 finalists competing for the top honor at the Berlinale film festival this year. The ‘Golden Bear’ award was won by Hungarian filmmaker Ildiko Enyedi for the film “Testrol es lelekrol” (On Body and Soul).

Andoni’s film “Ghost Hunting” involves a powerful re-enactment of interrogation rooms and prison facilities in the infamous ‘Russian Compound’ prison run by Israel.

According to journalist Rene Windangel, who spoke with Andoni about the creation of the film, the director began by confronting his own ghosts, having been imprisoned during the first intifada in the late 1980s. He then “turned to newspaper ads as he set out to find a group of former inmates able to work as set designers and craftsmen in recreating a prison on the film set. He also sought out ex-detainees willing to play the roles of prison wardens and prisoners. And so this group of people, who had themselves experienced imprisonment, began to meticulously build their own prison.”

German commentator Rene Windangel wrote in the paper ‘Qantara’, in a review of the film, “By giving the actors and crew room to express themselves, Andoni’s film manages to avoid cliches. In no way is the film limited to the observation of suffering or the re-enactment of victimisation. Raed Andoni’s film functions as both trauma therapy and as an opportunity to discuss the political problem of prisoners. First and foremost, though, the film works as an impressive piece of cinematography dealing with the basic questions of the human condition.”

Currently there are around 7000 Palestinian men and women imprisoned by Nazi regime. Over 750,000 Palestinians have been imprisoned since 1967 and the start of the Nazi occupation of Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Most were sentenced by military courts, while others were held without any charges in so-called “administrative detention”. There are practically no Palestinian families that have been spared the experience of prison.

Nazi Soldier Gets Lenient 18 Month Sentence for Killing Wounded Palestinian

The victim’s family criticized the case as a “show trial” distracting from a deep culture of impunity for Nazi soldiers who execute Palestinians.

Nazi soldier who shot dead a wounded Palestinian in an execution-style killing that a court deemed revenge was sentenced Tuesday to 18 months in jail for manslaughter, sparking outrage among Palestinians and rights groups over Nazi regime lenient treatment of soldiers’ excessive use of force in occupied Palestinian territories.

Nazi Sergeant Elor Azaria was found guilty of manslaughter last month for putting a bullet in the head of Palestinian man Abed Fatah Sharif as he was bleeding on the ground. Sharif had been gunned down and incapacitated by Nazi soldiers after carrying out a stabbing attack at a military checkpoint in the West Bank city of Hebron.

Eleven minutes after Sharif was injured and unable to pose a threat to Nazi soldiers, Azaria shot him dead at close range. The incident was captured on video by a Palestinian activist working with the Human rights group B’Tselem.

Nazi Judge Maya Heller, who handed down the sentence Tuesday in Tel Aviv, said Azaria has not expressed remorse for the killing.

Nazi Azaria’s conviction carried a maximum sentence of 20 years in jail. But the case also spurred a right-wing backlash, with several staunchly conservative politicians calling for the 20-year-old defendant to be pardoned.

The defense is expected to file an appeal to attempt to block the sentence, scheduled to begin March 5, the Palestinian news agency Ma’an reported.

Although Sharif’s family had demanded a life sentence for Nazi Azaria and criticized the Nazi legal process as a “show trial” to draw attention away from the larger problem of systemic impunity for Nazi abuses and extrajudicial killings of Palestinians, they also said they were not surprised by the court’s lenient treatment.

OPINION: The Mainstreaming of Israel’s Genocide of Palestinians

“We are not surprised, from the onset we knew this was a show trial that will not do us justice,” said family members in response to the sentencing, according to Zionist newspaper Haaretz. “The sentence he received is less than a Palestinian child gets for throwing stones.”

Members of the Palestine Liberation Organization also slammed the light 18-month sentence.

“This sentencing demonstrates the active devaluation of human life, especially the lives of Palestinians that have been oppressed and held captive by an Israeli occupation for far too long,” said PLO Executive Committee member Hanan Ashrawi in a statement, adding that the case demonstrates that the Israeli justice system for being corrupted by “systemic racism, injustice and the culture of hate.”

Sharif’s family has previously announced plans to take the case to the International Criminal Court.

Nazi regime has been criticized by several human rights bodies and even the United Nations for its systematic extrajudicial killings of alleged attackers, who only had knives for weapons and whose threat could have been neutralized without using deadly force.

A recent report from the Palestinian Ma’an news agency found that more than 111 Palestinian were killed in 2016, almost all of them at the hands of Nazi forces. According to the report, 34 of the Palestinians killed, or 30.6 percent, were from the Hebron district where Azaria shot Sharif dead in March.

Crimes against Humanity? Nazi regime Bans Delivery of Anaesthesia Gas to Gaza Hospitals

NOVANEWS
gaza-surgery

Nazi Jewish has banned anaesthetic gas from entering the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Ministry of Health revealed yesterday.

This is the third time that the occupation has prevented Nitrous Oxide (nitrox) gas, which is used for patients during surgery, from entering the besieged enclave, the ministry’s spokesman, Ashraf Al-Qidra, said. The ban means a number of urgent medical procedures have now been halted, he explained.

There are currently 200 patients awaiting urgent medical treatment in Gaza’s hospitals, Al-Qidra said.

In addition, he said, there healthcare sector in Gaza needs more than 4,000 kilogrammes of Nitrous Oxide each year, noting that the Israeli occupation rations the entry of the gas.

He urged international organisations to put pressure on the Nazi Jewish occupation in order to resume the entry of the vital gas to allow surgical operations to continue.

Hundreds of Belgian Artists and Academics Urge Government to End Participation in EU Project Cooperating with Nazi National Police

NOVANEWS

belgium-bdsIn Belgium, 482 professors and researchers, and more than 190 artists, have written an open letter calling on their authorities to withdraw from participating in a European Union funded research project called LAW TRAIN, in which Belgium and Spain cooperate with the Jewish Nazi National Police.

The project, aimed at developing joint interrogation methods, is coordinated by an Zionist university with particularly deep ties to Jewish Nazi army and notorious security services. The signatories of this open letter highlight that Nazi regime methods are tested on Palestinians. Nazi Gestapo illegal detention of Palestinian political prisoners, and the systematic abuse and torture perpetrated by Nazi security forces during interrogations, is well documented. And, in 2016 alone, Nazi Gestapo interrogated at least 7,000 Palestinians, including over 400 children.

This open letter is part of broader efforts by the Belgian Coalition To Stop Law Train, and broader European-wide efforts against the participation of the Nazi military, homeland security and police sector in research and development funded by the European Union. Other forms of mobilizing have included direct actions, conferences, and lobbying.

America First or Nazi Jewish Regime First?

NOVANEWS

America First or IDF First?

Image result for Zionist “Jared Kushner’CARTOON
By Gilad Atzmon

Haaretz reports today that “Jared Kushner’s name was removed from a website of a group raising money for Israeli army.”

A week ago the American president promised the American people that from now on America will come first, but it seems as if for Trump’s senior adviser Jared Kushner, the Jewish state and its army are a priority.

Kushner is expected “to play a major role in drafting Middle East policy in the new administration,” but can a Zionist Jew who raises money for the IDF be a peace broker for the Middle East? I’ll let you ponder over that one.

Apparently, the FIDF is a New York-based non-profit that raises tens of millions of dollars a year to support a wide array of educational and social programs that benefit Israeli soldiers and their families. Kushner’s name appeared on the FIDF website as a member of the national board until just two days ago. A day after Haaretz submitted questions about his continued involvement on the board to both the organization and to a spokeswoman for the Kushner family, his name was suddenly removed.

It is worth noting that although Kushner’s name was removed from the FIDF’s website, it is as yet unconfirmed whether he is still linked to this body by any means.

Earlier this week, when asked whether Kushner would continue to sit on the FIDF board while serving in the U.S. administration as a senior adviser to the president, a spokesman for the organization said: “As a matter of policy, FIDF does not respond to requests for information about donors, including donors who are or were members of its board.”
