UN experts denounce ‘Israeli’ apartheid and call for sanctions

A statement by tens of UN experts on Israel’s planned annexation amplified Palestinian civil society’s call

The Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC), the largest coalition in Palestinian society, commends tens of UN experts for their courage in speaking truths that States and international organizations representing them, including the UN and EU, have sought to evade and suppress.

The UN experts said in a statement issued in Geneva today that the annexation of occupied Palestinian territory currently planned by Israel’s right-wing government “would be the crystallisation of an already unjust reality: two peoples living in the same space, ruled by the same state, but with profoundly unequal rights. This is a vision of a 21st century apartheid.”

Their statement called for “accountability and an end to impunity [as] an immediate priority for the international community.”

Welcoming the UN experts’ statement, Mahmoud Nawajaa, General Coordinator of the BNC, said:

For decades, international inaction and complicity have enabled Israel to violate the laws of belligerent occupation, advance its colonization of the occupied Palestinian territory and impose an apartheid regime that is enshrined in Israel’s domestic law.

Faced with Israel’s illegal annexation, its regime of apartheid and its denial of our inalienable right to self-determination, it is high time for all States and international organizations to comply with their legal obligations by adopting effective countermeasures, including sanctions.

As a matter of priority, the overwhelming majority of Palestinian civil society is calling for:

  • Banning arms trade and military-security cooperation with Israel.
  • Suspending free-trade agreements with Israel.
  • Prohibiting all trade with the illegal Israeli settlements and ensuring that companies refrain from/terminate business with Israel’s illegal settlement enterprise.
  • Ensuring that individuals and corporate actors responsible for war crimes/crimes against humanity in the context of Israel’s regime of illegal occupation and apartheid are brought to justice.

Democrats call for aid cut to ‘Israel’ over annexation

Democratic lawmakers are signing a letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo calling to cut aid to Israel if it proceeds with annexation. Mike TheilerUPI

Four women in the US Congress say that if Israel proceeds with further annexation plans in the occupied West Bank it would “lay the groundwork for Israel becoming an apartheid state.”

Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-CortezRashida TlaibBetty McCollum and Pramila Jayapal are making the claim in a letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo that they are circulating for signature among colleagues.

According to Politico, the letter has been signed by nine more lawmakers including Senator Bernie Sanders.

Although the letter overlooks the current apartheid reality, it is not typical for US lawmakers to refer to Israeli apartheid at all.

It is even rarer for members of Congress to call for Israel to pay any price for its actions.

In this letter, however, the signers say that if Israel proceeds with annexation they will demand conditions on the annual $3.8 billion in military aid it receives from the US.

They say they will pursue “human rights conditions and the withholding of funds for the offshore procurement of Israeli weapons equal to or exceeding the amount the Israeli government spends annually to fund settlements, as well as the policies and practices that sustain and enable them.”

Lobby hits back

Israel lobby groups AIPAC and Democratic Majority for Israel quickly objected.

AIPAC opposes the letter being circulated by @RepAOC—cosigned by @RepJayapal, @RepRashida & @BettyMcCollum04—which explicitly threatens the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that would damage American interests, risk the security of Israel & make a two-state solution less likely.5:51 PM · Jun 29, 2020

Democratic Majority for Israel claims it opposes annexation, yet says that the letter represents “bad policy” and “bad politics.”

The group undoubtedly fears any initiative that could result in conditions on US aid to Israel, preferring only toothless verbal protests.

This is not the first time this year that AIPAC has collided with McCollum, Ocasio-Cortez and Tlaib.

In February, the Israel lobby group accused “radicals in the Democratic Party” – along with photos of the three – of “pushing their anti-Semitic and anti-Israel policies down the throats of the American people.”

McCollum called this “hate speech” and referred to AIPAC as a “hate group.” She rejected their apology.

My work for human rights & Palestinian rights goes on. #HR2407#StopAIPACsHate

The letter writers insist that “Members of Congress should not be expected to support an undemocratic system in which Israel would permanently rule over a Palestinian people denied self-determination or equal rights.”

Aida Touma-Sliman, a Palestinian member of Israel’s parliament, the Knesset, welcomed the Democrats’ letter:

Concern for Israel prioritized

The new letter goes beyond the tepid language of an earlier 25 June letter from 191 House Democrats to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders.

That letter failed even to mention occupied Palestinian territory.

Its major concern was not how annexation would harm Palestinian rights, but that it would be bad for Israel.

The signers asserted that it would “jeopardize Israel’s significant progress on normalization with Arab states” and could create “insecurity” in Jordan with “ancillary risks to Israel.”

They also stressed that annexation could create “serious problems for Israel with its European friends and other partners around the world.”

The European Union, while admonishing Israel for its annexation plans, continues to provide Israel with rewards as it breaks international law.

The writers of the 25 June letter stressed maintaining Israel as a “Jewish and democratic state” and keeping alive the so-called two-state solution.

By contrast, the congresswomen do not mention maintaining an exclusivist Jewish state or the two-state solution, but rather emphasize how annexation could “harm prospects for a future in which all Israelis and Palestinians can live with full equality, human rights and dignity.”

Republicans promote annexation

Republican senators meanwhile openly support the apartheid annexation plan in a 23 June letter to President Donald Trump.

Initiated by Ted Cruz of Texas, it is endorsed by six other senators.

Not only did they back the “extension of Israeli civil law into Israeli communities and areas critical for Israel’s security such [as] the Jordan Valley,” but they commit to funding such violations of international law.

They pledge to provide the Trump administration “with the resources it requires” for implementation of the Israeli plans.

For all that Trump has done in violating international law on behalf of an expansionist Israel, the senators make clear that annexation is Israel’s “sovereign decision” to take.

That the illegal move has Trump’s backing is just the icing on the cake for them.

If the International Criminal Court ever does try Israeli leaders for crimes including settlements and annexation, it can also look to American leaders who every step of the way supported and provided financial backing for Israel’s theft of Palestinian land and entrenchment of apartheid.

This article now accounts for minor differences between the version of the letter secured by Jewish Insider and the final version released by the office of Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The letter’s final version can be read here.

How ‘Israel’s’ propaganda war has silenced Europe

By: Gideon Levy

Protesters carry the Israeli flag during a demonstration for those who oppose antisemitism, in Parliament Square in London on 26 March, 2018 (Reuters)7.

The UK Labour Party’s shadow education secretary, Rebecca Long-Bailey, was recently sacked after sharing an article on social media saying – among other things – that Israel had trained US police in the knee-on-neck choking method used on George Floyd.

This claim has been circulated widely in recent weeks among the global left. Labour leader Keir Starmer accused Long-Bailey of posting an article containing an “antisemitic conspiracy theory”. Evidently, the winds of change have come to Labour after Jeremy Corbyn stepped down – and the change does not portend well.

Daring to blame Israel

Middle East Eye on 25 June published details of the controversial article, with fact-checking. The accusation that it was from Israel that US police learned the choking method that led to Floyd’s death is unfounded. Police in the US have been frighteningly trigger-happy for decades where Black citizens are concerned – since long before the state of Israel was founded and its police force established.

US police certainly do not need Israeli expertise to be capable of killing innocent Black civilians in shockingly large numbers.

When it comes to criticism of Israel, the rules of the game in Europe are different. There is Israel, and then there is the rest of the world

Still, the worrisome speed with which Long-Bailey was replaced in the shadow cabinet ought to be much more troubling to supporters of human rights than the credibility of any article she posted online. Long-Bailey was fired only because she dared to share an article that blamed Israel, not because she dared to share an article lacking a factual foundation.

It is doubtful that Starmer is all that concerned about the reliability of articles shared by members of his faction. He is much more worried by the antisemitic image that has adhered to his party, not always justifiably.

Even if the article’s accusations were fabricated and entirely baseless, it remains highly doubtful that Long-Bailey would have been sacked in that manner had she posted false accusations against any other country on Earth, apart from Israel. When it comes to criticism of Israel, the rules of the game in Europe are different. There is Israel, and then there is the rest of the world.

Effective Zionist propaganda

Israeli propaganda in recent years has had marked success in Europe. Long-Bailey’s sacking is just another link in a long chain of its achievements. Lately, under the direction of a relatively new minister for strategic affairs in the Israeli government – along with the close cooperation of the Zionist establishment in the rest of the world – Zionist propaganda has adopted a new strategy, which has proven itself unprecedentedly effective.

Israel and the Zionist establishment in various countries have begun branding all criticism of Israel as antisemitic. This has silenced Europeans. Propagandists for Israel cynically exploit Europe’s guilty feelings about the past that still linger, often with good reason – and the accusations have done their job.

A Palestinian man argues with an Israeli soldier during a protest against Israel's plan to annex parts of the occupied West Bank, in Jordan Valley June 24, 2020
A Palestinian man with his kid facing an Israeli soldier during a protest against Israel’s plan to annex parts of the occupied West Bank, in Jordan Valley on 24 June (Reuters)

It remains difficult to criticise Israel, the occupation, accompanying war crimes, breaches of international law, or Israel’s treatment of Palestinians; it is all branded as antisemitism and quickly disappears from the agenda. Alongside this campaign of branding, most Western nations, including the US, have passed sweeping legislation that aims to declare war on the completely legitimate boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement, in an attempt to criminalise its activities and its activists.

How incredible that this struggle against an occupation and its legal infrastructure is undergoing sustained delegitimisation and criminalisation. Imagine any other committed struggle – say, against the sweatshops of Southeast Asia, industrial meat production or mass concentration camps in China – being labelled as criminal in the West. It’s hard to imagine.

And yet, the struggle against Israeli apartheid – and there is no more clearly moral struggle today – is deemed criminal. Coronavirus aside, try to book any large venue today anywhere in Europe for a gathering in solidarity with Palestinians. Try publishing an article against the Israeli occupation in mainstream news outlets. Israel’s hyper-vigilant propaganda machine will find you quickly, accuse you of antisemitism and silence you.

Supporting freedom of expression

This situation is about silencing, there’s no other way to say it. That means this issue cannot be confined to those interested in the Palestinian cause, it has to become an urgent concern for anyone who supports freedom of expression.

Israel is unlikely to profit in the long run from this aggressive, almost violent campaign, which may well backfire both for the state and for Jews in general, evoking opposition, or even revulsion, among stalwart supporters of freedom of speech. For whatever reason, this has not happened – yet. Europe has hung its head and surrendered unconditionally to the onslaught of exaggerated, sometimes wholly baseless, accusations of antisemitism. Europe has been silenced.

Keir Starmer’s ‘antisemitism’ sacking is a signal that Israel is safe in his handsRead More »

Antisemitism must be fought, of course. It exists; it rears its head again and again; it stirs memories of the past. But one cannot conflate necessary and legitimate criticism of the Israeli occupation, or even of Zionism, with antisemitism.

If Israel commits war crimes, they must be opposed and condemned. This is more than a right; it is an obligation. How in heaven’s name is this about antisemitism? How has a struggle of conscience become something forbidden?

If Israel talks about annexing occupied territories and turning Israel into an apartheid state not only de facto, but de jure, there is a duty to stand up and speak out against that, and to decry Israel’s intended actions. If Israel bombs helpless civilians in Gaza, how is there any possibility of not standing against that? Yet, doing so has become nearly impossible in Europe and the US.

Systemic confusion

It has been about a century now since Palestinians were robbed of their country. For the last 53 years, they have also lived under Israeli military occupation – without rights, without a present or future, their lands stolen and their freedom crushed, their lives and their honour made shockingly cheap – and suddenly the struggle against all that is forbidden.

This a bewildering systemic confusion: the occupier has the right to defend itself, and whoever struggles against occupation becomes the accused.

Instead of denouncing the Israeli occupation, attacking it and finally starting to exact a price for it by punishing the country responsible – something Europe managed well enough within days of Russia annexing Crimea, instead of calling out Israeli apartheid as apartheid, since there is no other word to describe it, its critics are silenced.

This an insane systemic confusion: the occupier has the right to defend itself, and whoever struggles against occupation becomes the accused

This is infuriating, immoral and unjust. Europe cannot, and must not, continue to be silent about this, even at the price of being labelled antisemitic.

These accusations must not continue to silence Europe. So Zionist Jews and Israelis make these false accusations: so what?

Long-Bailey posted an article online that maybe did not deserve to be shared. Sacking her is a matter of much graver concern.

The views expressed in this article belong to the author and do not necessarily reflect the editorial policy of Middle East Eye.

Ethiopia’s volatile path to democracy

Ethiopian Hachalu Hundesa murder protests
By Graham Peebles

Ancient ethnic divisions and long held grievances die hard. Ethiopia is made up of dozens of tribal and ethnic groups, divided into nine regional states. Oromia is the largest region (it includes the capital, Addis Ababa) and, with 34 per cent of the population (about 40 million), the Oromo people make up the biggest single group.

On 29 June the popular Oromo singer/political activist Hachalu Hundesa was murdered in Addis Ababa, triggering protests, killings and violence. The UN human rights agency reports that protests were ethnically driven, roads in parts of Oromia were blocked, “buildings vandalised and burned… gunfire and bomb explosions in Addis Ababa”. Official estimates say that 239 people died in the unrest.

The government’s heavy-handed reaction was to arrest almost 5,000 people, including political activists, journalists and a leading critic of the government, Jawar Muhammad, and shut down the internet (30 June). Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said Hundessa had been killed by groups working to inflame ethnic tensions and trigger civil war, but gave no details. The minister in charge of democratisation,Zadig Abraha, accused “external forces opposed to democratic change of involvement in the violence”, again without details. In an interview with France 24, he also denied widespread claims that the government was using the unrest as an excuse to crack down on the opposition and stifle dissent. It has nevertheless arrested key members of opposition parties, who they claim are linked to the violence.

At demonstrations in Paris by the Oromo diaspora on 11 July organisers claimed that Hundessa was murdered “on government orders”, because “he was Oromo”. The government has since announced that it has arrested suspects in the murder of Hundessa.

Abiy is the first Oromo prime minister, and when he took office in 2018 the Oromo people rejoiced. Initial jubilation was short lived, though; some within the community remain loyal, others are disappointed in his tenure – “we thought that Abiy Ahmed supported our cause because he is Oromo, but over the past year Ethiopia has became a dangerous country for us,” while some, including Jawar Muhammad, have gone further and are actively working to undermine his leadership and destabilise the government.

Stepping backwards?

For decades Ethiopia was ruled by a brutal regime that terrorised and suppressed large sections of the population. The ruling party outlawed political opposition, trampled on human rights, tortured, raped and murdered. Despised and widely feared, after four years of protests in which Hachalu Hundesa and his music played an important role, the Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) government (made up of parties from four regions but dominated by a group of Tigray men within the Tigray People’s Liberation Front, or TPLF) collapsed in April 2018.

No elections were held and the EPRDF coalition stayed in office; Abiy Ahmed (a member of the previous administration) became prime-minister and a fresh, gender-balanced cabinet was installed.

Acknowledging the atrocities of the previous regime and the deep-seated ethnic divisions in the country, in his inaugural speech Abiy pleaded: “I call on us all to forgive each other from our hearts. To close the chapters from yesterday, and to forge ahead to the next bright future through national consensus.” Restrictions on independent media were lifted, websites unblocked, political prisoners released, repressive laws repealed and the border conflict with Eritrea resolved. Many Ethiopians living abroad returned home amid an atmosphere of expectation and hope.

But as the political space opened, suppressed feelings and historic grievances related to land, and issues of identity and governance surfaced among various ethnic groups. Military insurgencies and inter-communal violence erupted in a number of regions (Amhara, Oromia, Harar, Dire Dawa, Benishangul, and the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples’ Region, or SNNP) leading to the internal displacement of (currently) 1.5 million (down from 2.9 million in 2018); people whom the government has failed to support. And, consistent with the policy of ethnic federalism (used by the previous regime as a tool to “divide and rule”) enshrined in the 1994 constitution, there have been calls for autonomy from groups in Oromia, the northern Amhara region and by Sidama in the SNNP.

The atmosphere is volatile, and while under Abiy much that is positive has taken place, “local governance and security have sharply deteriorated in many locations,” and the lack of law and order mean, according to Human Rights Watch (HRW), “there are few constraints on how grievances are expressed”.

The government’s response to inter-communal conflict has fluctuated between inadequate and inflammatory, and, disturbingly, there have been a series of violations by security forces. Killings, torture, and arbitrary arrests have been documented by HRW, in addition to “shutdowns of phone and internet services in Oromia, and the arrests of journalists and opposition leaders and their supporters”. Amnesty International, in a detailed report, relates that between December 2018 and December 2019, “at least 10,000 people were arbitrarily arrested and detained… as part of the government’s crackdown on armed attacks and violence in Oromia Region”. It claims that, reminiscent of the previous regime, security forces “burned homes to the ground, committed rape and extrajudicial execution in response to inter-communal violence.”

While old laws of control have been repealed, controversial new ones have been enacted. On 23 March 2020 the government introduced the Hate Speech and Disinformation Prevention and Suppression Proclamation in order, it says, to curb, inflammatory language on social media. Human rights groups say it contains a vague definition of disinformation, and HRW describes it as “an ill-construed law that opens the door for law-enforcement officials to violate rights to free expression”.

A five-month state of emergency, beginning in April, has also been imposed, ostensibly to limit the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This seems unjustified – when it was brought in only three deaths and 82 cases of the virus had been reported in Ethiopia, and to date, according to Worldmeter, the numbers remain low – 128 deaths and fewer than 8,000 reported cases. The state of emergency essentially bans protests and has been used, HRW says, “as a pretext to restrict free speech”.

General elections, due to take place in August this year have also been cancelled due to the pandemic. However, in order for parliamentary elections to go ahead at all, a national census (postponed once in 2017 and again this year) is badly needed.

The need for unity

Moving from an authoritarian government to democracy, which has never existed in Ethiopia, was never going to be easy or take place overnight. Many challenges are involved in such a transition and mistakes are inevitable. It is crucial, though, that the government does not dilute reforms and revert to suppressive methods. For change to be lasting, developments need to be gradual and have broad consensus: this requires that everyone who wishes to contribute to the debate is able to do so.

There have been changes within civil society, including the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC), the media and the judiciary but they are still not seen to be free of government influence. Fully independent, transparent institutions (particularly the EHRC) that are trusted should be quickly established; institutions that are capable of dealing with community grievances impartially and effectively, and thereby reducing the risk of escalation. The government needs to reinstate law and order where it has broken down. This is crucial and, as HRW says, “perpetrators of violence need to be charged in accordance with Ethiopian law”. Importantly, this must include members of the security forces, who have acted with impunity for decades. Anyone breaking the law must face justice.

Ethnically-based identity is currently a powerful divisive force in the country, but this need not be the case. Ethnic diversity should be seen as a positive factor, with each group being respected and encouraged to add its distinct tone and colour to the overall life of the nation, thereby enriching the culture for all. Diversity in unity should be the aim. Historical injustices and grievances need to be acknowledged, and, in an atmosphere of forgiveness and tolerance, community healing allowed to take place.

Political parties aligned along ethnic lines intensifies existing divisions; political groups need to evolve that are free from any specific ethnic association. This would negate the suspicion of community bias and build trust. Despite the recent upheavals, the opportunity for lasting change persists in this wonderful country. Unwavering commitment to human rights, social justice and national unity should be the government’s driving goals. The Ethiopian people deserve no less.

New US Law To Give ‘Holocaust Survivors’ Billions In Insurance Reparations With No Proof Required

Posted by: Sammi Ibrahem,Sr

Legislation with bipartisan support that would restore the rights of Holocaust-era insurance beneficiaries to recover billions in unclaimed payments left behind after World War II has been introduced in the U.S. Congress by jewish Representative, Debbie Wasserman Schultz:

Due to federal court rulings and a failure by insurance companies to adequately publish the names of recipients and pay these claims, 97 percent of the approximately 800,000 policies held in 1938 have yet to be honored. The insurers’ unreasonable demands that death certificates and original policy paperwork be produced is all but impossible for survivors who, at the time, had just survived death camps, forced relocations, torture and death marches.

The Holocaust Insurance Accountability Act of 2019 was introduced Friday by Rep. (((Debbie Wasserman Schultz))), D-Florida, and Rep. (((Lee Zeldin))), R-New York. A Senate companion bill was recently introduced by Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Florida, and Sen. (((Jacky Rosen))), D-Nevada.

The legislation would: validate state laws requiring insurers to publish policy holder information; establish a federal cause of action in U.S. courts to ensure Holocaust survivors and heirs have access to U.S. courts; and provide a 10-year period of time for cases to be brought after the date of enactment.

“Preventing Holocaust survivors and their families from collecting on documented policies is truly outrageous and cruel, but allowing these global insurance corporations to hold on to this unjust enrichment is an offensive re-victimization that cannot be allowed to stand,” Wasserman Schultz said in a statement.

These alleged insurance companies were all based in Europe, not the U.S.A., so one might be tempted to ask why the U.S. Congress is even considering such a law.  The Jews are arguing that since these “international” insurance companies do business in America, they are libel to cough up 80 year old undocumented claims to Jews living here.

But the Jews here are talking out of both sides of their mouths, on the one hand claiming that Jews demanding reparations should be trusted on their personal hearsay because of what they allegedly went through in WWII, losing any or all documents to prove such claims, but then they turn around and claim that these policies are somehow, somewhere “documented”.

If the insurance companies had any backbone, they would require the Jews to first prove with objective, documented, non-contradictory evidence that the ‘Holocaust’ actually happened before they even consider doling out billions in reparations, but we all know (((who))) owns these insurance companies, which will just pass the cost on to their goyim customers in higher rates.

Yes, IF the insurance companies had a board meeting to discuss “proof” of the Holocaust, it would go something like this:

Bill Before Senate To Give 80,000 Jewish Holocaust ‘Survivors’ In America Free Elder Care

Posted by: Sammi Ibrahem,Sr

A group of U.S. Senators who just so happen to be jewish introduced “bipartisan” legislation that will “prioritize” health care and nutrition services for Holocaust survivors:

The bill, the Trauma-Informed Modernization of Eldercare for Holocaust Survivors Act or “TIME for Holocaust Survivors Act” increases the chances that survivors could age in their own homes.

The bill introduced by Sens. Ben Cardin, D-Md., Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., and Jacky Rosen, D-Nev., incorporates several provisions into the Older Americans Act to ensure that Holocaust survivors have care and services tailored to their needs.

“Holocaust survivors came to the United States seeking refuge from unimaginable horrors. They have lived their lives here and enriched our nation. With an average age of 85, we have an obligation to provide Holocaust survivors the community support and special services they need to live out their final days,” Cardin said in a statement.

More than 300 national, state and local organizations – most Jewish organizations including Jewish federations, Holocaust education organizations and synagogues – signed a letter of support for the legislation

There are about 80,000 Holocaust survivors living in the United States, with one-third of them living at or below the poverty line. Aging Holocaust survivors have needs similar to other older Americans, but institutionalized settings, with confined spaces or restrictions on food, can induce panic, anxiety, and re-traumatization due to their Holocaust experiences, the bill notes.

The bill would include Holocaust survivors as a designated group with the greatest social need within the Older Americans Act; promote technical assistance and training for nonprofits that serve older adults experiencing the long-effects of trauma; and ensure that the providers of nutrition services through the Older Americans Act can meet the special dietary needs of Holocaust survivors when there is sufficient demand in a community.

You read that right: apparently “forcing” old Jews to live in nursing homes like the rest of Americans “re-traumatizes” them and brings back unpleasant memories of living in concentration camps.  So to avoid this “trauma,” American taxpayers will now foot the bill to keep them in their own homes by providing expensive in-home private nursing care around the clock.  This is yet another example of jewish exceptionalism, otherwise known as “white privilege”.

And this is why it is absolutely crucial that the so-called Holocaust be exposed for the criminal shakedown operation that it is.

Apparently, America doesn’t have the same “obligation” to provide such expensive care to WWII veterans to risked their lives to defeat the Germans on behalf of world Jewry.  No, those veterans can rot homeless on the streets while so-called Holocaust “survivors” who never risked anything for this country will be provided with private care that only the wealthy can hope to afford.  And this outrageous proposal has “bipartisan” support in the U.S. Senate, which means no one has the guts to vote against it for fear of being run out of office in the next election cycle.

New Study Claims Trauma Of Holocaust May Have Shrunken The Brains of Jewish ‘Survivors’

Posted by: Sammi Ibrahem,Sr

A new study claims that the alleged trauma of what Jews refer to as “The Holocaust” has permanently altered the brain structure of survivors and may have even had a biological impact on their children and grandchildren:

Groundbreaking research which saw Holocaust survivors undergo MRI scans of their brains has revealed not only the psychological cost but also the biological toll of Hitler’s persecution of Europe’s Jews.

Over the course of three years researchers examined the brain function of 28 Holocaust survivors living in Slovakia and the Czech Republic and compared them with 28 individuals from the same region who were unaffected by the Holocaust.

The research, presented at the 5th European Academy of Neurology Congress in Oslo this week, revealed that the survivors — who on average were aged between 79 and 80 — showed a significantly decreased volume of grey matter in the brain compared to the similarly aged control group.

The Holocaust subjected millions of people and their communities to significant traumatic stress, through killing, propaganda, persecution and legislation, and researchers set out to explain the effect this has had on the behavioural, psychological and neurobiological functions of survivors. According to Professor Ivan Rektor, who led the study, the reduced areas of grey matter affect parts of the brain responsible for stress response, memory, motivation, emotion, learning and behaviour.

The study differentiated between survivors who were 12 or under in 1945 and those who were older. Researchers found that the reduction in grey matter was significantly more evident in younger survivors. This, they believe, may be because a child’s developing brain is more vulnerable to stressful situations.

The researchers are now investigating the impact of the Holocaust on survivors’ offspring and even their grandchildren. Early results in their children show reduced connectivity between structures of the brain involved in processing emotion and memory. Further research is set to identify biomarkers of stress resilience and post-traumatic growth as well as determining whether transmission to offspring is based on behavioural and psychological factors or on genetic factors.

Speaking to the JC from Oslo, Professor Rektor — who is head of the research centre at the Centre for Neuroscience at Masaryk University in Brno in the Czech Republic — said his research had a personal motivation. His parents, both Jewish, survived the Holocaust as they fled to the mountains of the former Czechoslovakia and joined a partisan group to fight the Nazis.

At 95, Professor Rektor’s mother was the oldest participant in the study, while his then 15-year-old daughter was the youngest. Born in 1948, the professor said: “Preliminary results from the second generation show that some changes in certain aspects are similar to the first generation.

“After more than 70 years, the impact of surviving the Holocaust on brain function is significant. We revealed substantial differences in the brain structures involved in the processing of emotion, memory and social cognition, in higher level of stress but also of post-traumatic growth between Holocaust survivors and controls and early results show this is also the case in children of survivors too.”

Of his own experience, he told the JC: “I feel myself that I am unable to look at a movie of a concentration camp. My emotions are involved, so I know that it’s had an impact on me and probably my children too. But the question is whether the transmission is social or genetic.

“Essentially, the findings suggest that we have the history of our ancestors in our biology.”

The Jews have been furiously trying to prove that Holocaust trauma can be genetically passed on from one generation to another so as to make sure that their “reparations” payments from Germany continue indefinitely even after the last official jewish Holocaust survivor dies around the year 2027, according to some experts.  Geneticists long ago abandoned this spurious Lamarckian idea that traumas can be transmitted from one generation to another, but jewish “scientists” like Rektor are trying to revive it for obvious financial incentives.

However, if what this study shows is true, and Holocaust survivors do, in fact, have reduced brain capacity and function, then this would go a long way to explain why so many survivors, such as Morris Hubert or Irene Zisblatt, have been caught making up completely fabricated stories about their alleged experiences in the concentration camps.  People all too often have accepted their questionable testimonies at face value, but now we have scientific evidence that shows how they could lie about what happened to them with a straight face, and when confronted with the truth, as Herman Rosenblat was, they merely say, “It was real in my mind.”

Jewish Man Claims He Was Chased By Man With Stick and Beaten Just Because He Is Jewish

A car’s dashboard camera just so happened to catch what appears to be an Orthodox Jew allegedly being chased down the sidewalk in Stamford Hill, England, by a man with a big stick:

The Jewish Community Council of Northern London is complaining about an increase in crime in the community targeted against Jews.

In a recent tweet, the JCC tweeted, “Crime in the community continues to increase” and then posted a video of an Orthodox Jewish man racing away from an individual pursuing him with a large rod.

“This is just one of many shocking incidents today which have occurred in the past few month [sic],” the JCC tweeted. “We appeal to @MPSHackney @MPSStamfordHill to act now and reassure the community with fast responses and extra patrols.”

In February 2019, just two months ago, a 69-year-old Jewish man was beaten in an apparent hate crime. The suspect in the crime, a 44-year-old man, attacked the 69-year-old victim after asking him if he was Jewish.

At the time, Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the Anti-Defamation League, weighed in on the incident via Twitter. He said, ““#AntiSemitism overseas continues to rise & we cannot allow this to go on. We stand with the UK Jewish community & everyone fighting against this #hate.”

There are around 300,000 Jews living in Britain, according to the most recent survey. The Jewish community stretches back to 1066, when the first Jews arrived with William the Conqueror’s invading Norman army.

There’s an old Russian proverb: “The Jew always tells you what happened to him, but never tells you why.”  Reporting these kinds of fake “hate crimes” does not serve the interests of Jews anywhere.  These Orthodox Jews clearly think that it’s still the Middle Ages, and that Jews are being chased out of every country in Europe by angry pitch-fork-wielding mobs.  No one today walks up to obvious Jews in a jewish neighborhood and asks them if they are jewish, then proceed to chase them down the street and beat them with a stick.  This video looks more like a “Tom & Jerry” cartoon.

Notice how the jewish “victim” walks back up the sidewalk after the “attack” as if he’s perfect fine, and right at the end of the video, he sneaks a look right at the dashcam in the car.  Seriously, the whole thing looks like a clumsily conceived enactment that no one except a paranoid Jew could possibly lend any credibility to.  This kind of silliness does not benefit Jews in any way, and it just serves to cast doubt on any so-called “hate crimes” that they seem to report virtually every day in the media.  If Jews are truly getting chased down the streets of Europe just for being Jews, maybe it’s time to think about moving to Israel.

Jewish PM Johnson Claims That ‘Britain Would Not Be Britain Without Its Jews’

Posted by: Sammi Ibrahem,Sr

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who himself has jewish ancestry, released a special video message wishing his fellow Jews a happy Hanukkah, and pledging the support of “every decent person” in Britain to combat rising antisemitism in the UK.:

“To all our Jewish friends, neighbors, and relatives, wherever you are in the world, let me wish you a very happy Hanukah,” said Johnson.

“And it is a time to celebrate not just the miracle of the oil but also your unique identity. To pop the Hanukah menorah in the window and say to the world just as Judah and his small band of poorly equipped Maccabees said to Antiochus III and his mighty Greek army all those years ago, ‘I am Jewish and I am proud of it.’”

Turning to contemporary anti-Semitism in the UK, Johnson said that while the Maccabees fought alone, British Jews will be aided in the fight against anti-Semitism by “every decent person” in the UK.

“And that’s really important right now, because I know that recent years have not been easy ones for British Jews. In the media, on the streets, and particularly online, anti-Semites have, in alarming numbers, been emboldened to crawl out from under their rocks and begin, once again, to spread their brand of noxious hatred far and wide.”

“But as you kindle the Hanukah light tonight and in the nights to come, I want you to remember this: When the Maccabees drove the forces of darkness out of Jerusalem, they had to do so on their own. Today, as Britain’s Jews seek to drive back the darkness of resurgent anti-Semitism, you have every decent person in this country fighting by your side.”

Because Britain would not be Britain without its Jewish community.”

That all depends on your definition of “Britain”, Boris.  Britain was originally founded by the “Brith” “Ish”, which is Hebrew for “People Of The Covenant”.  And Britain or “Brith” “Ain” originally meant “Land Of The Covenant”.

This national identity was established long before a single fake-Hebrew Edomite Jew set foot in the land today known as Britain.

And after the Jews finally did manage to set foot in Britain, it didn’t take long for King Edward I in 1290 to expel them for practicing ruinous usury and abducting and killing Christian children as part of their ritual sacrifices.

But the Jews wouldn’t take “no” for an answer and 300 years later finally managed to bribe Oliver Cromwell to allow them back into Britain, in spite of its reputation among Jews for being ‘antisemitic’.

Upon their re-admittance, even though Edward’s Order Of Expulsion was never being legally overturned, they promptly set up the Bank Of England and enslaved the British people again under the boot heel of rapacious jewish usury.

Then starting in the 18th Century, Jews and other non-British, began to flood into England further blurring the lines between who is and who is not British, along with undermining the Christian character and faith of the native British people.

And then the Jews finally re-defined the term “British” to legally mean anyone, regardless of race, who is born within the geographical borders of Britain.

In that absurd sense, yes, today’s multicultural “Britain” would not be “Britain” without its Jews.

U.K. Elects Yet Another Jewish Prime Minister With Boris Johnson

Posted by: Sammi Ibrahem,Sr

Jewish news sites are abuzz with the revelation that another one of their own, Boris Johnson, has been elected as the U.K.’s next prime minister to succeed Theresa May:

For British Jews, Johnson is a mixed bag because of his record on Israel, his own Jewish roots and his apparent disregard for how many Britons expect senior politicians to speak about religious minorities.

Johnson’s maternal great-grandfather, Elias Avery Lowe, was a Moscow-born Jew born to a textile merchant. Johnson confirmed this in a 2007 interview for the Jewish Chronicle.

I feel Jewish when I feel the Jewish people are threatened or under attack, that’s when it sort of comes out,” Johnson said. “When I suddenly get a whiff of anti-Semitism, it’s then that you feel angry and protective.”

…In 2014, Johnson called Israel’s attack on Hamas in Gaza “disproportionate,” and “ugly and tragic,” adding that “it will not do Israel any good in the long run.” He apparently tried to balance those remarks in the run-up to elections in the Conservative Party, which has seen a surge in support by Jews who have left Labour over its anti-Semitism problem, by calling himself a “passionate Zionist” who “loves the great country” of Israel. British politicians rarely call themselves “Zionists,” partly because of the actions of Zionist militants against British targets in pre-state Israel.

…However, Johnson was the U.K.’s first foreign secretary to pledge to vote against Item 7, a permanent U.N. Human Rights Council agenda item that singles out Israel for criticism, the pro-Israel group BICOM noted. He has criticized U.N. bias against Israel, calling it “disproportionate and damaging to the cause of peace.”

…On Tuesday, the organized Jewish community struck a more cordial tone, congratulating Johnson on the nomination and recalling its “long and positive relationship” with him “as both Mayor of London and Foreign Secretary.” The Board of Deputies of British Jews “look[s] forward to this continuing as he enters Downing Street,” said Marie van der Zyl, the board’s president.

Make no mistake, Boris Johnson is not British any more than Benjamin Disraeli was.  The press likes to mislead the British people into thinking that having jewish ancestors doesn’t necessarily make someone “jewish”, which is preposterous.

Virtually anyone who has any jewish ancestry knows it, and they know when to hide it when it’s convenient, and when to advertise it when it’s expedient.  The same can be said for David Cameron, another jewish prime minister in the U.K.

There were probably a number of others, but they don’t want to alarm the British people into realizing just how long a hostile elite has ruled over them.

But this is how the game is played in British power politics.  The Jews now have fellow Jews, Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn, controlling both the conservatives and liberals, and everything in between.

The British are a conquered people and have become strangers in their own land.  Between the Jews that rule over them and the Muslims and Blacks who now comprise that majority of new births in the country, they are slated for marginalization, replacement, and extinction.

But they can’t say they weren’t warned by the likes of Enoch Powell and Oswald Mosley  that this is what the Jews had planned for them.
