Nazi Soldiers Demolish An Under-Construction Home Near Hebron

By: Sammi Ibrahem,Sr

Nazi soldiers demolished, Monday, an under-construction Palestinian home in Masafer Yatta village, south of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Fuad al-‘Amour, the coordinator of Protection and Steadfastness Committees in Masafer Yatta and Southern Hebron hills, said the soldiers demolished the home, owned by members of Dababsa family, in the area between two Bedouin communities.

He added that, a month ago, the Nazi soldiers demolished all water networks which were used by various Bedouin communities along the area that extends from Khallet ad-Dabe’ until al-Mafqara, in Masafer Yatta.

Al-‘Amour also stated that the army has been targeting many Palestinian homes and structures, in addition to preventing the residents from building or even tending to their lands, and depriving them access to electricity and running water, to force them to leave, so that the Nazi can use the lands to build and expand its illegal Nazi colonies.

Nazi ‘Silicon Valley’ settlement plan to be built on the ruins of dozens of Palestinian businesses

By: Sammi Ibrahem,Sr

The Nazi occupation authorities today approved the destruction of dozens of Palestinian businesses in Wad al-Jouz neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem as part of a plan to construct a new settlement on their ruins called “Silicon Valley,” a step that has raised concern and anger of the Palestinian businesses in the area, most of them have been there since before the Nazi occupation in 1967.

The Nazi municipality of West Jerusalem has advanced the plan for the technology park, the Silicon Valley or Wadi Silicon, which would result in the confiscation of 2,000 dunums of Palestinian-owned land and the demolition of over 200 Palestinian shops, restaurants and facilities such as car repair and parts shops, in the neighborhood to make room for the construction of some 900 hotel rooms.

The 2.1-billion shekels ($600 million) project, first made public on June 3, allocates 250,000 square meters to “real estate for high-tech companies” as well as further 100,000 square meters split between “shopping centers” and “hotels”. It falls within the “East Jerusalem City Center” master project, approved by the Nazi occupation’s planning and zoning committee in April.

The project will also see the construction of new roads, a light rail, and a settler park near Kedron Valley to the south of the city.

The Nazi authorities have served eviction notices to dozens of Palestinian facilities and shops, allowing them until December 30 to leave before the demolitions are carried out.

Palestinians have warned of the risks of the project, which would further isolate their neighborhoods in Jerusalem, allow Nazi to take over some 2,000,000 square meters in sensitive areas, and ultimately alter the city’s landscape and erase the Arab and historic character of its markets and business districts.

Contrary to Nazi claims that the project would serve them and improve their conditions, Palestinians slammed the project saying it serves to bolster the Judaization of the occupied section of the city and paves the way for settlers’ takeover of Palestinian lands and businesses.

Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) official Hanan Ashrawi has said that “Israel‘s focused and systematic plunder of occupied Jerusalem persists unabated, in violation of international law and proclaimed positions of states worldwide.”

“In addition to a sharp increase in home demolitions and the displacement of many families in Jerusalem during the COVID-19 pandemic, the illegal Israeli ‘municipality’ has unveiled its plans to demolish decades-old Palestinian industrial area in the Wad al-Jouz neighborhood and replace it with a gentrified settler neighborhood with the flashy name of ‘Silicon Wadi’,” she wrote.

“This is an outrageous and criminal plan that will devastate 200 Palestinian businesses in the area and deprive hundreds of Palestinians of their sources of livelihood. It is a massive scheme that brings Israel’s displacement and replacement policy against the Palestinian people into sharp focus, especially in Jerusalem.”

The approval came as Nazi proceeds with preparations to annex large swaths of the West Bank in line with the US-touted Mideast plan, which treats Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and endorses the Nazi longstanding policy of permanent occupation, colonialism, and apartheid over the Palestinian people.

The Nazi colonists came from the illegal Itamar colony, which was built on illegally confiscated Palestinian lands.

Nazi Gastapo Abducts A Senior Palestinian Leftist Leader In Arraba

By: Sammi Ibrahem,Sr

Nazi police officers invaded, on Monday at dawn, the home of Mohammad As’ad Kana’na, a senior political leader of Abnaa’ el-Balad secular movement in Arraba town, in the Lower Galilee, and abducted him.

Abnaa’ el-Balad (Sons and Daughters of the Country) Movement said the police stormed the home of Mohammad As’ad Kana’na, and detained him, before moving him to an interrogation facility.

The movement denounced the abduction and said the move comes to silence all voices expressing solidarity with the hunger-striking Palestinian detainee, Maher al-Akhras, who is ongoing with the strike which started 100 days ago, despite his deteriorating health condition.

On its part, the High Follow-Up Committee for Arab Citizens of ‘Israel’ said, “the abduction of comrade Kana’na from his home is part of a series of arrests and interrogations he was subjected to over the past several years.”

The head of the Follow-Up Committee Mohammad Baraka said that the current detention and interrogation of Kana’na is directly related to his solidarity activities, along with As’ad Manasra, in support of al-Akhras, especially since the Committee is planning a protest in front of Kaplan Medical Center where al-Akhras is hospitalized as he continuous his strike and refuses medications despite his seriously deteriorating health condition.

Baraka stated that the Committee and other political factions stand in support of Kana’na, despite the Nazi violations and arrests.

Army Demolishes Home Of A Palestinian Accused Of Killing Zionist Man

Nazi soldiers demolished, on Monday at dawn, the home of a Palestinian detainee, who stands accused of the killing of Zionist man near Tel Aviv, two months ago.

Media sources said several army jeeps, and bulldozers, invaded Rojeeb village, east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and surrounded the home of Khalil Dweikat, before demolishing the property.

They added that the demolition came shortly after the Nazi High Court of Justice denied an appeal filed by the family in October.

Mofeed Dweikat, the head of Rojeeb Village Council, said the Nazi soldiers demolished the two-story, 180 square/meter home, after forcing the family out.

He added that many Palestinians protested the invasion and the demolition, burnt tires, and hurled stones at the army, while the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at them.

Three young Palestinian men were shot, and several residents suffered the effects of teargas inhalation.

Local sources said the soldiers withdrew from the village after demolishing the Palestinian home.

The Nazi regime says that Khalil Dweikat, a Palestinian worker with a valid permit, is responsible for the stabbing death of Shai Ohayon, 39, a father of four, from Petah Tikva in central ‘Israel’.

According to Nazi sources, Dweikat, 46, was detained by Nazi police shortly after the stabbing, carrying a bloodstained knife, before he was handed to the Nazi Gestapo Security Agency (Shin bet).

It is worth mentioning that Khalil Dweikat has a long history of mental disorders and received treatment by Palestinian physicians. He also was not a member or supporter of any Palestinian faction and had no political activities. He has not yet been convicted by an Israeli court.

The Nazi policy of home demolitions is an act of illegal collective punishment, targeting entire families, in direct violation of International law. The Nazi regime also does not demolish the homes of Zionist criminals, especially colonialist Nazi settlers, who are responsible for killing or seriously wounding Palestinians in the Nazi occupied territories.

Nazi soldiers Assault And Abduct A Palestinian Teen Near His Home In Hebron

By: Sammi Ibrahem,Sr

Nazi soldiers repeatedly assaulted, on Friday, October 30th, 2020, a Palestinian teenage boy, and abducted him, near his home in Hebron city, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, in addition to assaulting his mother who tried to stop the attack.

Aref Jaber, a nonviolent activist with the National Association of Human Rights Defenders – Hebron, has reported that the soldiers continuously struck his child, Mohammad Aref Jaber, 17, on various parts of his body, near his home.

He added that the soldiers also attacked his wife while trying to stop the assault against Mohammad, and abducted the teen before taking him to a nearby military base.

The assault started when a group of illegal fanatic colonialist settlers attacked and invaded several homes, including the Jaber family home, and assaulted the residents, while the soldiers failed to stop them, but instead stormed and searched many Palestinian homes.

The soldiers then repeatedly struck the entire family in the property, before abducting Mohammad, instead of removing the invading colonists.

It is worth mentioning that the abducted teen was later moved to Ofer prison, near the central West Bank city of Ramallah, where a court hearing is supposed to be held on November 2nd.

Such violations targeting Hebron, especially the eastern part of the city, are frequently carried out by soldiers and Nazi colonialist settlers, the colonists from the illegal Kiryat Arba colony, built on Palestinian lands east of Hebron.
